1. Yubikiri to Omajinai

This one is mostly because the MV is cute wwww. That and it’s a good song to listen to in the morning but I could not tell you why. It’s the vibes.

2. Friday Night Party

There is this SPECIFIC ebb and flow to Mackey’s rap that has me hooked every time I listen to it, it’s unskippable… that and it’s just Vibey

3. Calling…(acoustic) & Future Travel

HARD tie because the acoustic ver of Calling… is what I listen to when I’m not asleep at 1am and making a cup of tea and the vibes are just😽👌. Future Travel is just very danceable and that’s the only reason it’s on this list, it’s a perfect cha-cha and very choreographable.

Bonus/Honorable Mention: Forever

This only gets an honorable mention bc it’s just Mackey, but it always makes me flustered and it’s just a VIBE. And very catchy, I’ve had days on end where it’ll be stuck in my head.

Tabikurage Tantei Nikki

A palate cleanser since it's just 4 eps 25 minutes each. It's a Jdrama about a PI, Mackey, who lives out of an old camping van, travelling Japan. One day, he meets a young man, Kenta, who's also travelling without any destination in mind. Neither having anyone in the world, they start travelling and working as PIs together. But there's a really bad guy after Mackey who decides to use Kenta as a leverage...

Funny and touching and sweet. Mackey takes Kenta in on a whim, basically, because Kenta reminds him of his younger brother. They bicker constantly but they also find family in each other. The relief that they aren't alone in the world anymore is honestly almost palpable.

Give it a try if you want to watch something a little different and short, something that won't force you to commit for days or weeks. Done in under two hours, it was a nice change of pace. Also, Mizue Kenta who plays, well, Kenta, is really pretty.

Hey, SandcatM here. Sorry for the confusion from last ask. The KnB chara that stage actor Yojiro Itokawa played is Akashi. Also, to get you started on understanding the A3! stage actors, the stage actors for Banri(Kenta Mizue) & Tsumugi(Yoshihiko Aramaki) were a part of HypMic’s Rule the Stage play & both formed a singing duo called Mackey & Kenta.
