January 6th, 1974, 09:30 AM

London, England

Little Town Café

It was an average cold, cloudy day in January. The café was going pretty well, lots of customers this morning. I tapped my fingers against the counter, sighing quietly. There were only 6 customers left in the café. This day is going to be long, I can tell.

10:48 AM

The customers left, leaving only me. I went to go make myself an iced maciatto with some whipped cream. I rubbed my eyes and returned back to the cash register after making my maciatto. Four boys came in. “Hi! Welcome to Little Town Café, what can I get you guys?” I said, trying to sound positive. “Can I get a black coffee with one and three-sevenths of sugar, please?” The blonde haired guy asked. I wrote it down.

(Timeskip because I don’t know what else to write for that paragraph.

11:00 AM

I brought the boys their orders, handing them their coffees and pastries. They said their thank yous. I went back behind the counter, doodling on the notepad I had.

11:05 AM

I hummed along to the song that was on, Tiny Dancer by Elton John. At this point I had gotten bored. The café closes in three hours. I took a sip of my macchiato, sighing, for the millionth time this hour. I was right. It’s gonna be a long day.

11:28 AM

Rogers point of view.

“If you think she’s so cute, Roger, maybe you should ask for her number.” Brian said, taking a drink of his coffee. “I don’t have the guts to do that, Brian.” I said, rubbing my eye. “But you have the guts to shag a girl at a party.” Freddie said, arching one of his eyebrows. “I was drunk all of those times, Fred.” I sighed. “Just go ask her, if she rejects you, she rejects you. It’s not gonna be the end of the world.” John sighed, clearly fed up. “Fuck it. ‘M gonna do it.” I got up, walking over to her.

Y/Ns point of view.

“Excuse me?” The blonde guy said. “Hm?” I said, looking up at him. “This may sound weird but, can I get your name and number? I think you’re really cute and I’d like to take you out on a date sometime.” I was flattered, I’ve never been asked out by a guy. Woah. Bonkers. Crazy. Is this real life? What am I even saying. Speak, Y/N, you dumb bitch. “Yeah, sure!” I took a piece of paper, writing my name and number down. “My name is Y/N L/N, by the way. And yours?” “It’s Roger, Roger Taylor.” I smiled softly at him, handing him the paper. “Call me sometime?” “Definitely.”

This might mean something. Something.. Good. Definitely.
