Tf2 comic details I noticed
Heavy and Medic very much give me the vibe that they know each other better than the rest of the team knows either of them combined.
This is the first time Heavy is seeing Medic again after the team split, but he’s likely been briefed on the mission to rescue the others. So he’d know about Medic being with Classic team. I think he knows what game doktor is playing.
Medic warning his bestie that Classic has a gun as soon as he can breathe enough to get the words out.
And then heavy proceeded not to care about the immortality machine, because his friend died to a man with no honor.
2. Found some more pain again.
Scou no, hon-ey. [Cries]
3. Emesis Blue parallel/foil?
RED Sniper was locked out of the room, but he managed to get in through a window and saved Spy.
RED Spy tried to use stealth to defeat Classic Sniper, and it would have worked if the man wasn’t a dirty cheater with robo-eyes. He got shot in the leg.
Even if he’s grumpy and standoffish about it, Spy did in fact give his Sniper some credit. And a cigarette when he wanted one.
I’m assuming the suit argument comes from not wanting the man -who takes kidney enlarging pills to produce more pee- to use the drip like a diaper and lecture him about Classic’s soiled britches.
It’s actually BLU Soldier that wants RED Sniper to die slow this time. Maybe because he still believes in Archibald being a good man, and he’s angry about what happened to Scout.
Spy had a really good opportunity to shoot Butcher Pyro, but decided to try and threaten the man with a bigger, faster gun anyways. That’s crazy, talking about “Take off the mask” like he’s gonna be threatened.
He gets shot in the leg for it. Other side, but still near the knee.
Soldier has to run for cover [because powerful gun] and the door locks behind him. He isn’t able to open it after Butcher Pyro runs out of bullets, leaving BLU Spy on his own.
And then he does get tortured.
Also, it seems like BLU doesn’t know RED Sniper very well at all. Spy had to be reminded of his Sniping moral code, but he was still salty about the cheater and bleeding near the knee.
Sniper doesn’t monologue. He did talk to Pauling about his parent situation, but why would he talk to the enemy teammate who shot half his leg off and left him to bleed out? Doesn’t sound like him to me.
4. RED Medic brought Sniper back to life after 12 hours, and post-comics I feel like the BLU team found out. “I seen the other side”. And…
BLU Medic killed RED on sight. Either he assumed he was with the Bloody Engineers, or he knows that guy’s crazy and he’s not taking chances.
Also for all he knows, that’s undead RED Hoovy. Given the fact that RED Medic invented the ubercharge, and Heavy was the first teammate to demonstrate it. And this nightmare hoovy is against Builders League, so how would he know better?

Super Robot Wars continues to be a ride.
High-tech interstellar war machines with resistance to beams and lasers prove laughable foes when confronted by mecha with oversized JRPG-style weapons or which are piloted by magical girls able to bend the very elements to their will.
The same anime that foists a 'chivalrous pervert' type on the party (that I've been thankfully able to relegate to the sidelines and ignore after his intro), also has a canonically nonbinary pilot who is both a relatively normal human (as much as a mecha pilot can be anyway) *and* who's respectfully addressed as 'they/them' by *everyone*, including characters who initially mistook them for a guy or a girl.
The party has prevented the planet Jupiter from being collapsed into a black hole which would have destroyed the entire solar system (and thereby saved everyone living in it) *and* rescued a war hero stranded in an alternate universe millions of years in the future, and I'm pretty sure I'm not even halfway through the game yet.
Tangent: despite not having the most prominent representation, the game's still making me increasingly inclined to watch both Getter Robo and Magic Knight Rayearth.

So they're making the largest lady Transformer ever, a two-foot tall colossus who turns into the starship of the Decepticons from the original cartoon. Said starship was named the Nemesis, which means that's what our giant robo-lady is called too.
Which isn't an inherently bad thing - Nemesis is kind of an over-used name, but since it comes from a goddess of vengeance it still fits her well enough. ...except Nemesis is also used as the name for, like, a billion other transformers, most of them being evil black and blue doppelgangers of heroic transformers, i.e. Nemesis Prime for Optimus Prime, Nemesis Leo for Leo Prime, etc.
And it kinda sucks that this cool character design is getting a name that's been around the block so many times. She deserves something special, unique, something flashy.
Now, coincidentally, Nemesis's robot mode resembles the cybernaughts from IDW's first run of transformers comics. These were basically giant mecha piloted by normal sized transformers, making them pretty damn huge. And obscure, and unlikely to get toys of their own.
And one cybernaught was given a name in those comics, as it was piloted by one of The Scavengers, a group of Decepticon failures who bumble in and out of adventures in a very endearing way. The name they gave this machine? The Mighty Mega-Puncher.
So I'm just going to headcanon that our giant robot lady comes from a universe where the cybernaught the scavengers rescued came alive through shenanigans, and thus Mighty Mega Puncher was born.

Ursula’s Kingdom is one of the most technologically advanced in the Glade. Thanks in part to scientists discovering and studying the broken down technology of the robo-pirates, robo-pirate ships, and Ales Mansey’s robots from Origins.
Through the 100 years These scientist learned to reverse engineer it make create a highly advanced robots and tech for the benefit of citizens throughout the century as Rayman and friends slept. Quickly bringing the future to today.
This tech was the reason why the The Magician and his clones targeted the kingdom and stole their underwater laboratory for all its tech it can quickly jumpstart their plans to conquer the Glade.
Ursula and her sister attempted to infiltrate the stronghold to protect her kingdom but was caught and imprisoned. Good thing Rayman and friends came, rescued her, and defeated the evil teensie by destroying his robotic sea beast.
I definitely love this idea, the truth is it sounds very interesting how while our heroes were sleeping, certain human kingdoms advanced so much within 100 years.
I think it sounds very realistic, imagine, humans have short lives but they make the most of them to do great things, when the ales clones realized their great progress, they definitely felt jealous of seeing how creatures that were so inferior to them managed to achieve super intellect by creating very advanced machines and things, basically out of garbage.
but they also found the opportunity to take advantage of all that technology and decided to steal, the long work done by generations of scientists, something very low and dirty if you ask me, but luckily Rayman and his friends fixed this whole problem.

Some final EarthSpark kids book ideas.
Book idea 15: The Secret Origin of Dr. Mandroid or How I Learned Not To Worry and Loath the Machine! While the Constructicons and ArachniMechs rebuild Mandroid’s lab after yet another scheme gone belly up, Mandroid recalls why he went down this path. He initially was working to take down the Decepticons to protect his wife and two sons. However, a Decepticon attack and the ensuing Autobot response saw the disaster that cost Mandroid his arm, but also his wife and eldest son. His youngest survived, but is currently in rehab learning to walk again with special artificial limbs developed by Wheeljack and Ratchet. While his youngest, Ethan Meridian, holds no ill will to the Autobots and even looks up to Optimus Prime. Ethan isn’t fond of Megatron for obvious reasons, but at least seems to acknowledge the big buckethead is trying to turn over a new leaf and make things right. All the same Mandroid resents all Transformers for their hand in the loss of his family, and vows to protect his remaining son no matter the cost. The story is a loose reinterpretation of what happened to Mark Morgan, Jessica Morgan, and Gregory Swofford in the G1 cartoon, only Mandroid is trying to foolishly Roboticize himself to one up the Autobots instead of foolishly unleashing a Hate Plague to one up the Autobots.
Having finished ruminating, Dr. Mandroid has built a special ArachniMech for Devastator: Scorpulator.
Capable of transformation, it forms a super weapon for Devastator to use to melt Autobots. Determined this will finally do the trick, he sends out Robo Smashed Buzzsaw and Robo Smashed WingThing to draw out the Autobots. Taking the bait, Optimus, Elita and the Terrans arrive to see what’s going on only to be surprise attacked by the Constructicons who quickly merge to form Devastator and equip Scorpulator. The attack goes well in Mandroid’s favor until he realizes the fight is escalating towards the hospital where Ethan is recovering in. Inevitably Devastator and Scorpulator blasts a chunk of the building when attempting to fire back at Optimus. People within the blast range were hurt and killed, but Ethan, among others, was thankfully safe thanks to the Terrans protecting as many as they could. Outraged at his own foolishness at nearly hurting his own son, Mandroid quickly rationalizes that it was the AUTOBOTS who slipped up and nearly hurt Ethan again, not him, and so orders Devastator to resume attacking, albeit farther away from that particular hospital. Elita manages to disable and destroy Scorpulator, while Optimus manages to truck tackle Devastator in the face, forcing him back into his component Constructicons who drive off and retreat. It is here Mandroid becomes more twisted and consumed by his hatred of Transformers despite the near death of Ethan being HIS fault. Nevertheless, extreme measures will be taken…
Book idea 16: GHOST Autobot rescue response Inferno and his crew have attracted the attention of Mandroid. Inferno’s crew helped rebuild Ethan’s hospital with Ratchet and Medix tending to wounded. Inferno is a popular guy among the Earth populace, loved by Autobot supportive GHOST agents: he’s a regular Boy Scout, modest, likable and eager to help. Mandroid decides to Robo Smash Inferno as a means to disrupt public relations.
My idea was ES Inferno is a mix of his Aligned design above and RiD01 Optimus below, using that Optimus’ vehicle mode too.
Fooled by a distress call by Buzzsaw and ArachniMechs, Mandroid corners Inferno with his Arachni-Smasher, and reprograms the poor guy.
Later Inferno returns to the Autobots, a plant by Mandroid, and everything seems to be going fine at first, though Hashtag and Nightshade seem to notice something off…
At another attempt at a ceremony to honor the GHOST-Autobot relations is held, and Inferno is the guest of honor, due to his dutiful work behind the scenes from past adventures. Mandroid, nearby with Buzzsaw and the Arachni-Smasher, orders Inferno to turn up the heat. Inferno starts rampaging to the shock of everyone, but confirming Hashtag and Nightshade’s suspicions when Inferno treated them harshly earlier. They manage to appeal to his true Autobot programming within during the fight, though the Smasher’s programming keeps trying to override it. Taking notice of Mandroid, Inferno, in his stupor, transforms and drives off after him. Mandroid manages to escape riding on Buzzsaw, but the Arachni-Smasher wasn’t so lucky, getting set ablaze and then run over by Inferno for good measure. The overload to his system causes Inferno to go into stasis lock, and while the day was saved, it’s on a bittersweet note thanks to mixed emotions from the crowd though the Maltos and Ethan, the later having watched what was happening in his room, still believe in the Autobots. Though Ethan does notice in footage what he thinks was his dad flying on a Decepticon, and starts to put the pieces together…
Book idea 17: Twitch, Nightshade, Robbie and Mo are enjoying some beach time, but as usual trouble is afoot, as Arachnimechs are in the area. The kids meet up with Sea Spray and his partner GHOST Agent Alana Tlalakan, who were investigating underwater ruins in the area.
(The visual gag I had is Sea Spray is based on his movie toy body, but has his G1 head. When Mo asks why he looks different in the comic, he hand waves it away as artistic liberties. Alana meanwhile is pretty much her G1 self only as an Earth woman dressed for oceanic research.)
It’s VERY heavily implied Sea Spray and Alana are romantically involved, and that Alana and Croft have a mutual dislike of each other. The only reason Alana is still part of GHOST is because she’s great at her job (and she refuses to leave Sea Spray despite knowing Optimus would look out for him). Alana keeps the Terrans a secret, and takes a shine to Twitch and her enthusiasm to learn in particular. It appears special aquatic moded Arachnimechs and Skullcruncher were spotted in the area, with Sea Spray, Alana and the kids discovering them heading into the Black Pyramid, a mysterious structure that was discovered when the Transformers originally arrived on Earth. The Cyber Sleeves react to the eerie energy emitted from the structure, concluding it shares a connection to Quintus Prime.
While Nightshade and Twitch handle Buzzsaw and Nova Storm’s aerial defense, Sea Spray and the others go inside the under water Pyramid to uncover and protect its Prime related secrets from Mandroid!
Book idea 18: Hashtag has been wondering if other Transformers are genuinely still out there, as morale among the other Autobots has been low lately for existential reasons. Periodically she’s been sending a frequency into space to see if anyone picks up. One day, she gets an answer from a Cartharsian and the two quickly bond and become online friends.
This other robot is from the Omnicon Flotilla trading post near Jupiter. The Cartharsian has been studying super robotic life forms like herself, the Zoids of Zoidstar and Zi, and the Robotix of Skalor, but it’s the first time she’s personally encountered a Cybertronian. Naturally the concept of Transforming comes up, as Hashtag wants to meet and suggests her friend can just Transform into a ship and fly on over, only for the Catharsian to sheepishly admit she can’t Transform though she would like to experience it one day. Her ship meanwhile is in the shop but the Catharsian swears she’ll find a means to come to Earth…! And she does… in a Velgroxian cruiser with hangry Velgroxians…
The Catharsian didn’t think it through, and helps Hashtag prevent Witwicky from becoming an all you can eat buffet, as well as address what’s become of the other Transformers out in space.
Book idea 19: More Transformers comics have been produced but the stories are less than flattering lately to Autobots and Decepticons alike, even the Terrans find them off despite being more open minded to them. Bumblebee had apparently always hated the comics because he wasn’t used a lot, and the artists either drew him too fat or gave him the wrong head. Alex and Bumblebee visit the local comic con, only for Bumblebee to confront the comic book’s current author, Melody Keen in the parking lot while Alex was inside geeking out.
Melody isn’t too dissimilar from Alex, sharing the same enthusiasm for Transformers and Bumblebee like him. When Bee asks things like why he’s being romantically paired with Decepticon Steeljaw, why Star Saber is being such a creep, and who the slag characters like Robot Master, Sentius Magnus and Malus are, Melody apologizes, saying she’d much rather be writing stories about the Autobots’ and GHOSTS’ heroics, but her publisher, Donny Finkleberg, insists these are the kinds of stories people want nowadays. As Alex and the kids are busy with geekdom, Bee and Melody sneak away to the Witwicky publishing company to talk to Finkleberg. Finkleberg turns out to be working for Mandroid, and isn’t fond of Transformers either, and is more than happy to tarnish their image AND get into character doing so. Unleashing Robo Smashed Buzzsaw and Robo Smashes Enemy in the old cassette player in his office and donning on a transforming Arachnimech exo suit akin to this Action Master toy below, Finkleberg becomes the Robot Master for real.
Defending Melody, Bee defeats Finkleberg and he’s arrested, with Melody becoming inspired by the event to write new stories that sell well… though Bee is still shipped with Steeljaw much to his chagrin because it was a popular ship a sheepish Melody admits…
Book finale: A three parter that addresses the connections between Quintus Prime, the Black Pyramid, Fortress Maximus, Ethan and Mandroid. Ethan gains his own Cyber Sleeve, and becomes bonded to Cerebros, via the Emissary, the true form of the Black Pyramid. Mandroid manipulates his son into using Fortress Maximus to attack the Decepticons (actually the Autobots and Terrans), with Devastator as back up. The day is saved thanks to Ethan’s unwavering belief in the heroism of the Autobots and the belief they can live in peace, but Ethan is also shamed at his actions, and opts to take Fortress Maximus into space to prevent him from being abused by others. Ethan and Cerebros park it on the dark side of the moon, and with the Carthusian, Nightshade, Tarantulas and the restored Constructicons’ help, eke out a little secret moon base that other book exclusive and potential toy exclusive Autobots can reside in, along with human allies like Sam. The Tyrest Vault has been relocated inside Fortress Maximus, with Ethan under Autobot protection per Optimus Prime’s orders. Mandroid meanwhile, views his son as dead to him, and laments his entire family is gone thanks to the Autobots, and vows to take extreme measures to eradicate all Energon based life on this planet, the book ending with he and his Arachnimechs building and experimenting on a prototype of his Energon doomsday machine from the cartoon.

Rayman Retaliation
Chapter 7:
The firefly, who was still hidden in Joe's collar, noticed Joe begin to panic. She inhaled a deep breath, puffed out her chest and flew straight out of the room, much to Joe’s surprise. She darted down the maze of corridors and back to the previous room to see Rayman pre-occupied with fighting Robo-Rayman. The room shook again, causing Robo-Rayman to almost fall through a hole that broke through the floorboards. Rayman tried to kick him back down, but it used it’s helicopter on it’s head to hover back up. It lashed out at Rayman with it’s clawed metal hands.
The firefly noticed Rayman was struggling. With clenched fists, she soared over their heads and landed directly onto the big red button. The pressed button made a clicking noise as it set off a mechanism which lit a long fuse leading to the giant cannon. Robo-Rayman heard the click. It turned to face the firefly sitting on the button and slowly marched towards her. She stared back frozen in terror.
Rayman quickly jumped back and fired at the giant swinging chandelier on the ceiling. The pellets tore through the chain connecting it to the ceiling and it crash landed directly on top of Robo-Rayman. It smashed through the floor and hit every floor on the way down. Rayman was clinging to the wall away from the gaping hole in front of him.
“Firefly!” he yelled out across the room, sounding relieved but excited, “I’m so glad to see you!”
The lit fuse made it way to the cannon and a gigantic cannon ball shot out, the sheer strength of the weapon’s blast pushed the planet back slightly and covered it in a wave of gunpowder smoke. The smoke filled the room as the large window was smashed open.
However, the cannon was collapsing along with the rest of the planet. The cannonball was off target and shot straight past Razorbeard’s escape pod, causing him to spin out of control from the momentum.
They don’t realise this happened as the cloud of smoke obstructed their view. The firefly glowed a bright light and led Rayman out of the dark, smoke-filled room as both of them coughed.
They ran into Joe in the corridor and they all hastily looked for a way out. The power had shut down and all the lights turned off, so the firefly led the way. The crumbling tower began to sway as they made their way for the exit.
“You did it, you stopped the planet from moving! And the cannon went off!” Exclaimed Rayman while panting, “But I don’t know if we hit him.”
“I don’t know either! I couldn’t see with all the smoke, but we don’t have time to double-check, we need to get out of here!”
The ground outside was littered with broken-down Pirates. Towers were collapsing, ruptured pipes spat out hot steam and machine cogs broke off and bounced across the ground as machines broke apart. The imbalance of the world had eventually become too much and everything was falling to pieces.
They hastily made their way towards the alien jungle again to find Joe’s spaceship. They had to quickly navigate the jungle as it caught fire from the chaos. They quickly removed the ship’s heavy disguise and boarded it.
Meanwhile, as the Robot nightmare counterpart was shoved into the ground, he noticed his crumbling surroundings. He realised that the plan was failing. In a last-resort attempt, he drove his remaining energy towards the poles of the planet to kick-start the rocket-propulsion pipes again and drove the planet full speed ahead, to crash into the Glade of Dreams. However, the spirits of the other planets that were rescued by Rayman, had successfully defeated the Pirates on their worlds and were now pulling back at their tethered chains, which prevented the Robot Planet from moving.
The pressure on the exhausts caused them to explode and massive cracks ripped across the surface of the planet, causing chunks of earth and lava to break away from the crust and float away into space.
Joe piloted the spaceship as fast as possible away from the surrounding explosions, darting erratically side to side to avoid any flying shrapnel. The Robot Pirates that survived drove warships to try and escape, but they could not keep up with Joe’s spaceship. As the Robot nightmare guardian crashed and burned, his factory body erupted into an inferno. The blast wave launched Joe’s ship far into space. The three of them screamed their lungs out at the speed they were travelling at.
Back at the Glade of Dreams, the people of the Glade had been keeping a close eye on the Robot Planet since hearing the news from Rayman and Joe. The inhabitants gasped when they saw the distant explosion of the Robot planet that was large enough to see in the day sky. Those who had telescopes quickly announced the incoming spaceship.
Joe’s spaceship had shot through space and crashed through the clouds of the Glade of Dreams at an uncontrollable speed. Clark sprinted over and jumped up to safely catch the spaceship in his giant hands. Since the ship was hot from breaking through the atmosphere, Clark yelped and juggled the ship between his hands, blowing on it to cool it down. The hatch popped open to reveal Rayman, Joe and the firefly together, dizzy and seeing stars. Clark held the spaceship up in the air with one hand and pointed at it with the other as he yelled out for the others to come look. Their friends ran over and cheered at their safe return.
“Congratulations Rayman!” Ly called out from a tree top above their heads, “Glad to see you made it back in one piece this time!”
That evening, fireworks went off in the sky as the people partied and celebrated their victory.
Polokus announced that he had decided he would no longer stay isolated. The spirits of the worlds also decided that they would keep in touch more often as they worked better as a team to better protect their worlds. Some of the spirits and their people whose planets had been destroyed by the Pirates were welcomed to stay at the Glade of Dreams and other worlds.
From the aftermath of the Robot planet explosion, what was left over had broken down back into lums. These lums gathered together in the void of space. Who knows what they were thinking amongst themselves and what they planned to create next...
In the middle of the night, Rayman woke up in a cold sweat.
“Where is that cannonball heading to?”

THE TALE OF FOOD
MOONLIT CONFESSIONS - PART 6
━
??? : But my bronze steam engine stalls midair...
ROBO BUNNY : If you go without oiling it with machine oil for too long, the parts get rusty. At least in my experience anyway, TG Alpha II.
OSMANTHUS WINE : The two of you...Are just going to let them lie there?
TGII : I called upon a wood para-glider when I landed, but they had already lost consciousness. Humans are truly a mystery.
ROBO BUNNY : I've stored some backup supplies of machine oil here, try it on them.
OSMANTHUS WINE : Get out of my way!
The cool liquid seeps into my mouth. My blurred vision registers an immortal in long robes beside me.
OSMANTHUS WINE : They are lucky to be alive after you slammed into the ground from so high up! This is a beautiful mortal, not one of you foolish blockheads!
OSMANTHUS WINE : Hmph, if it weren't me...Hm? Awake?
MASTER : Cough, cough, cough, cough! Cough cough, cough cough cough!
MASTER : Argh, I never imagined being jolted from a coma by strong liquor...Cough, cough! Honestly...I've never been treated like this...
OSMANTHUS WINE : Of course not. This is a celestial brew and not to be found in any common cellar.
I look at the figures around me. Talking robots, a food soul masquerading as Heng'e...And the fact I'm in Guanghan Palace where the ground frequently collapses...
MASTER : Man, I'm really starting to miss Butler Guo...
OSMANTHUS WINE : Master, don't give up. Moon Cake's been kidnapped by the Micians and needs rescuing from you!
MASTER : Now that's more to the point.
Now that my questions finally look like they can be answered, I bolt upright putting on my best imposing demeanor.
MASTER : Osmanthus Wine, why were you pretending to be Heng'e? What are you and Yipin Pot planning? Who are the Micians? Why did you betray Yipin Pot?
TGII : Ah, I see. When humans are enraged, they can speak up to five characters in a second.
MASTER : And the robot furiously scribbling notes down...Who is he? Why was he shut away in a glass receptacle?
TGII : ...?
OSMANTHUS WINE : My apologies. I didn't expect this to anger you so.
OSMANTHUS WINE : I never claimed to be Immortal Heng'e. I am the food soul Osmanthus Wine, who took form 'neath Mount Liangying. Thanks to the wisdom of Immortal Wugang, I have now been given the chance to undergo trials.
OSMANTHUS WINE : Once I have passed all the tests and reached Guanghan Palace, my name will be recorded for time immemorial amongst the ranks of the immortals. Yet when I crossed the wind barrier, I found that the Palace was in ruins, as though it had been abandoned.
OSMANTHUS WINE : The vicinity of Guanghan Palace was shaking violently and the lunar Osmanthus withering away, taking with it my soul power day by day. 'Twas then that Yipin Pot came here.
OSMANTHUS WINE : He claimed to be an emissary from the Realm of Melanya and told me that Guanghan Palace lacked the spiritual force to maintain its rotations, causing the ground around it to shift and collapse.
MASTER : The robo-bunny said something like that too. Oh, by the way, why were you chasing it?
OSMANTHUS WINE : No one knows where the heart of Guanghan Palace is, except for it.
OSMANTHUS WINE : It hides amongst other robo-bunnies and only heads out to repair the Palace's other robots at midnight.
OSMANTHUS WINE : Yipin Pot determined from the striking noises it made, that it was very familiar with Guanghan Palace. But it's the only robo-bunny with any will of its own...
MASTER : Central Collection Guild, why did you have to sneak around at midn...Wait, what are you doing!?
I turn to find that the robo-bunny has leapt into the air and unfurled its wooden umbrella, sending us flying more than six feet away!
Simultaneously, a crack has formed on the spot where we'd been seated, the jet streams of tumbling rocks striking the robo-bunny out of the air.
TGII : !!!

"Touchy..." Agatha taunted, eyes falling ever so briefly down to the magic at Wanda's fingertips. "Weren't you the one who rewrote reality just to bring your robo-boyfriend back to life? Why the sudden change of heart?" There was something vicious in her voice by the end.
Apart from Agatha's personal grievance with the witch, Wanda hadn't mentioned her boys...not once. She grieved her idiot brother...created an entire world for a machine with a soul...and what was she willing to do for her own son? Rescued, from Agatha's empty threat, just to give Billy up...for a town of nobodies. Wanda had possessed the power to save her son and willingly gave him up...while Agatha had fought pointlessly against wind and shadows. If Agatha had been gifted with the power the Scarlet Witch possessed...not even death could have taken her son from her.
Wanda just looked at Agatha with a slightly raised brow, watching her pretend like she hadn't guessed correctly. "Whatever you say, Agatha, dear." She told her simply. "I'd be pretty scared if an entire coven of witches had spent hundreds of years thinking only of destroying me, no shame in it." She told her.
Her face fell when Agatha gestured at her brother's grave with mentions of resurrection spells. Her eyes flashed an angry red and her hands wisped slightly with her magic to indicate that she was serious when she spoke. "Don't even think about it." She warned lowly, before it all faded away. "If that's the only knowledge you can offer, then I think I'm better off without."

Rise of machines
Rise Of The Machines
It’s been over 35 years since The Terminator was released, and rather than a global moratorium on weaponized robots, we’re instead seeing an explosion of research into autonomous tanks, aircraft, humanoid robots, and AI software systems to pull the trigger.
There’s a grim irony in the fact that a cautionary tale about autonomous killing machines has turned into an arms race to see who can develop them first —and it’s even more ironic that the organizations developing these technologies reference the movie when describing their projects: F.E.D.O.R. — with a gun, but “not a Terminator”.
FEDOR
In arecent tweet, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin described the “Robot platform F.E.D.O.R. showing shooting skills with two hands,” and quickly added, “we are not creating a Terminator, but artificial intelligence that will be of great practical significance in various fields.”
Ostensibly,F.E.D.O.R.has been developed for rescue missions, and the prototype was even sent to the International Space Station to conduct repairs, but as The Independent has written, “military uses have also been suggested by engineers.”
Atlas
Despite internet confusion from a viral hoax video by “BossTown Dynamics”, the realAtlasrobot developed by Boston Dynamics has never fired a gun — but it can run, do backflips, andparkour. Developed under grants byDARPA, this robot is also designed for disaster response, but that didn’t stop ExtremeTech for describing it as a “Real World Terminator”, saying:
At 6’2″ and 330lbs, Atlas is incredibly imposing…while Atlas is initially conceived as a disaster response robot, such as cleaning up and looking for survivors after a Fukushima-like disaster, it’s easy to imagine Atlas being the basis of a robotic army.
TheMIS
Futurism.com described this robotic tank as being “straight out of the Terminator”, and cited aC4ISRNET article indicating that it was equipped with a 12.7mm machine gun & 40mm automatic grenade launcher in a recent demonstration.
Likened to theT-1 robot tankin Terminator 3, theMilrem TheMISis one of many robotic tanks currently under development, including theRipsaw M5 Robo-Tank,Miloš UGV,Gladiator TUGV,Foster-Miller TALON, and many more — all heavily armed, and currently all requiring a human operator to pilot them remotely.
The Predator Drone
The General AtomicsMQ-1 Predatordrone was designed in the ‘90s for reconnaissance, but within a decade the Air Force hadarmed itfor drone strikes, and created theMQ-9 Reaperas a successor — which the USAF Chief of Staff called “a true hunter-killer.”
The Guardian reports thatBritain is funding research into drones that decide who they kill, and of the36 countriescurrently using armed drones, analystPaul Scharresays it’s “very likely that nations will invest in autonomous technology, if nothing else out of fear that their adversaries are doing so.”
Googlebacked out of drone research because of the ethical implications, but it hasn’t stoppedmilitary organizationsfrom pursuing autonomous killing machines, which have the advantage of “freeing current pilots from the moral responsibility of casualties”.
SkyNet
The Terminator franchise wouldn’t be complete without the series arch-villain. As it turns out,SkyNet is already here, and according toArs Technica, it’s already killed “thousands of people”:
“SkyNet engages in mass surveillance of Pakistan’s mobile phone network, and then uses a machine learning algorithm on the cellular network metadata of 55 million people to try and rate each person’s likelihood of being a terrorist.”
Today’s SkyNet is an NSA surveillance program that isn’t self-aware, and it doesn’t directly control weapons systems — unlike the ambitious Strategic Computing project, back whenDARPA Tried to Build Skynet in the 1980s:
“The system was supposed to create a world where autonomous vehicles not only provide intelligence on any enemy worldwide, but could strike with deadly precision from land, sea, and air. It was to be a global network that connected every aspect of the U.S. military’s technological capabilities — capabilities that depended on new, impossibly fast computers.”
Thoseimpossibly fast computersexist today, and DARPA hasn’t given up on the idea, they’ve simply rebranded it “Assured Autonomy”. The goal remains the same: creating systems able to “accomplish goals independently, or with minimal supervision from human operators in environments that are complex and unpredictable.”
Conclusion
As I said in the beginning, all the pieces for Judgement Day are in place. The nukes, the robots, the AI systems —it’s like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, and the only thing missing is a few more years of R&D and the malevolent spark of machine intelligence willing to end the world.
Stephen Hawkingsaid, “The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race,” andElon Muskconcurred — calling it humanity’s “biggest existential threat”. Both of them may be mistaken, but it begs the larger question:
If AI is dangerously unpredictable, why are we arming it?
Earlier I mentioned “freeing current pilots from the moral responsibility of casualties”, but the truth is they shouldn’t be freed from it. The decision to take a human life has gravity to it — and knowing that you’ll have to live with that choice is part of the decision-making process. It’s called having a conscience, and it’s something machines lack.
Conscience — not calculation — is what kept us from launching the nukes during the 20th century. The ICBMs are ready, but despite 70 years of saber-rattling, the decision to use them is simply too big, ugly & final for us to push the button. So we’re teaching the machines how to do it instead.
To be fair, The Terminator and its sequels were as much a commentary on the time they were produced as they were a warning to the future —but at the root of all these films remains a constant reminder:beware the consequences of giving machines the power to decide life & death.

THE TALE OF FOOD
MOONLIT CONFESSIONS - PART 5
━
The light of the ripples of the water from underground reflects the faces of the two people before us.
Though he is dressed differently, I recognize him immediately. The thousands of times I'd imagined our reunion and none of them involved meeting him at this juncture.
YIPIN POT : How have you been, Master?
MASTER : Yipin Pot!? What are you doing here?
YIPIN POT : I have always been here. It's thanks to you I was able to enter Guanghan Palace and witness you unlocking the robo-bunny before finally crossing the rock wall barrier.
I realize what he means and unconsciously grip the rock in my hand tighter.
MASTER : Did Yi Ya send you? What does he want?
YIPIN POT : You should be asking what I want.
He shakes his hand and smiles. A violent tremor rocks everything and the Osmanthus sprigs burst from the ground to twine vice-like around my arms, forcing me to drop the rock!
'HENG'E' : Is this sufficient to remind you of your promise?
Yipin Pot takes the rock in hand and carefully wraps it up in his handkerchief.
YIPIN POT : Don't worry. With this, we won't require the guidance of that hare anymore. Once the power of Guanghan Palace's lunar Osmanthus is restored, you can...
YIPIN POT : Ugh!
MOON CAKE : Hero to the rescue! No one can snatch anything from Master!
Moon Cake suddenly jumps out from a corner, diving straight at Yipin Pot. This could be my chance to wrest the rock back from him!
*FIGHT*
YIPIN POT : !!!
YIPIN POT : Moon Cake, there are 0 records regarding the present Guanghan Palace. Did you ever consider why?
Yipin Pot murmurs into Moon Cake's ear as he brushes past. Moon Cake stands still, stunned.
MOON CAKE : You're saying...No! That can't be! What nonsense!
YIPIN POT : Yes, it's just my hypothesis. But now I'm inviting you to witness the truth for yourself with your own eyes.
MASTER : Don't listen to him, Moon Cake!
I anxiously tear the Osmanthus sprigs wound around my hands, but the force rebounds me into the glass tank.
MASTER : Ugh! That's a lot of blood...
MASTER : Why are these Osmanthus branches multiplying over and over...I can't get loose. Rats!
I promised I'd protect him, protect Guanghan Palace...I can't give up!
MASTER : As long as there's one person, one person who can help me get free of these Osmanthus sprigs, I can...
MASTER : Please, please...Help me!
??? : ...
??? : This power...Who could it be...
His breast shines with a glimmering glow, the tank's surface begins to crack. Immediately after, both the heavens and earth appears to shake violently.
ROBO BUNNY : Warning, warning. Damage to the glass room sustained has caused tremors. Tunnel and chamber will collapse within thirty seconds. Thirty. Twenty-nine, twenty-eight...
The walls of the tank break as he escapes and turns to look at me. His eyes are shaded by lenses and impossible to fathom.
??? : Plants are growing where they shouldn't. Activating gardening module.
MASTER : G-Gardening!?
Before I can say any more, several robotic arms issue from the rock walls, chopping down all the Osmanthus sprigs entwined around my limbs in the blink of an eye.
Like a rusted machine, he turns to Yipin Pot, body jerking. His head is vibrating slightly, as though scanning something.
??? : Good-looking suspect, suspicion level : 95%. Activating offensive module.
The shattering blast of cannon fire reverberates about the tunnel, thick grey smoke and the smell of gunpowder begins to fill the room.
YIPIN POT : Hehehe, Master, you appear to have awoken a rather nasty monster.
YIPIN POT : We don't have long, Osmanthus Wine. Let's withdraw.
OSMANTHUS WINE : ...No.
OSMANTHUS WINE : Why is the insignia on this robot the same as that on your handkerchief? Yipin Pot, are you part of the Micians too!?
YIPIN POT : ...Never mind.
Yipin Pot looks at Moon Cake. Moon Cake does not hesitate and follows him with an air of determination.
MASTER : Moon Cake, are you...Really going to go with him!?
MOON CAKE : Sorry, please don't worry about me. I just want to see the thing he's talking about for myself... It's about Guanghan Palace, I can't sit here and twiddle my thumbs!
ROBO BUNNY : Second warning, second warning. Tunnel collapse commencing. Three, two, one...
The tunnel begins rocking violently once more. In the confusion, Yipin Pot and Moon Cake's bodies form an arc as they jump up and out over the rock wall.
MASTER : Moon Cake!
I haven't quite gotten my balance back before my sight-line suddenly gets a boost.
??? : You can't stay in the danger zone, frail human.
??? : The risk of a geological disaster is extremely high. My propeller stove is about to start up. Please hold onto my head but do not take off my glasses, thank you.
??? : Three, two, one, ignition!
I hear a deafening bang as a hole forms in the rock wall thanks to the explosion. I am greeted by the welcome sight of sunlight as it filters down onto my head. And we are launched into the clouds, as though we were riding on a rocket.

A robo brain in power armor?? Why have I never thought of that??? That's so cool! What kind of armor type do they wear?
Deep Blue is a gen 2 synth claw- as in they are made out of the same parts as a gen 2. Synthclaws are like the precursors to Coursers in whatever world of Fallout 4 I put them in cause they were initially built to wipe out surface life. They never got out of the Institute... At least until they escaped in some form or another- Deep Blue being the first of 3 that survived.
Geneveve's usually pretty sweet. But she's also had to kill people in self defense- being a gen 2 synth in Goodneighbor isn't always easy. Being one that markets her voice- and sometimes her body- is even worse. She'd rather not kill people, tho. If she can find a way around it, she'll avoid it.
Geneveve also makes candy on the side using chemistry to break down chems and old sugary prewar sweets. (Think Nile Red making grape soda from gloves. That kinda crazy chemistry.)
Yren also has an adopted mirelurk king hybrid kid named Clancy. They look like if you glued mirelurk king fins and their antenna on a kid with light red hair. Or a shiny Vaporeon in human form- which was not my intention but honestly that makes them cuter.
Clancy was found by Yren at the age of two while exploring an abandoned raider base. They were in a cage, being kept like some sort of dog. Luckily their new papa wanted to be a chef so the baby got to eat good.
Oh yeah. I forgot- Yren's German Italian. He can speak fluent German and English. Both him and Clancy mix up German words with English words all the time in their speech, especially if they're cognates or close to it. I did this so I'd force myself to learn more German.
Alphie sells most of her weapons and armor to people actually! She also made a nuka cola vending machine armor set for one of her two super mutant "kids". They're technically adults but... To me, Fallout 4 supermutants act like giant angry children that want to do nothing but fight and eat people. She lives in that tower you go to rescue Rex. Her kids are survivors from that mission she nursed back to health. Another reason she hasn't been eaten yet, aside from her shear stubbornness the two being loyal to her, is that she knows Yren. Yren knows about the Vim! cure for Super Mutants' aggressive behaviors and synthesized some for her.
Nobody including me posts about their ocs enough so please please please reblog reply or whatever with some oc tidbits!
