The best place to stay if you are in Skopje is the Skopje Marriott. You don’t have to think twice about this. Centrally located in the Skopje Square with a walking distance from so many places to see and discover, and very new amenities all around, I can totally tell you that it is a beautiful hotel to be in.

I decided to write this post more so because I wanted to share most of the pictures that I had taken from the hotel. Pictures do speak a lot more than words.

In and Around the Hotel

I did not realize how close the hotel was to many of the must-see spots in Skopje – from museums to ruins of the Ottoman Empire, eateries, malls, and cafes. There is something for everyone at a walkable distance.

I absolutely adored the fountain right outside the hotel. I could just stand and keep watching the water from the fountain appear and disappear in the most beautiful and delicate of movements.

Skopje Marriott Hotel Lobby

I really enjoyed staying in the lobby. It was very well lit during the day and night. There was plenty of sunlight coming in during the day, and the design was a mix of artistic, and modern.

The Room at Skopje Marriott

The room was quite spacious for a deluxe room. I did not get to spend a lot of time in the hotel because we were exploring the country most of the time. However, I had a very relaxing time in the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable – quite modern with all the necessary amenities.

  I can say that although I had 3 nights at the hotel, it truly wasn’t enough to experience the amenities of the hotel itself considering the fact that there were too many things to see and do right outside the hotel. I really hope I will be going back to this country to see more and experience more of it.
