//I honestly don’t know WHAT took me so long to return to my roots but am I glad I did. Now, I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole, digging up old reads from when I was in like middle school-early high school, and remembering the old fanfic I’d been working on. The more I see, the more I consider revamping my old saiyan oc…

But enough of MY nostalgia! Bride! Saiyan spandex! Ripped lady biceps and cracking dude’s necks like eggshells with those thunder thighs! Saiyan Bride (or Bael, a.k.a bell as in bell pepper) would be a saiyan elite charged with the responsibility of training the hot-blooded youths of her people. Already saddled with a baby whose parents were slain, she ends up taking in a horned alien child after a team of conquerors mysteriously disappear.

“Exactly, Big Mom herself!” Shanks chuckled as he watched her reaction. Truthfully, he couldn’t believe it himself as much as he wanted to. What the newspaper had reported was quite the story, though he was sure that some of it may have been exaggerated. But still, getting out of that territory unscathed was quite the feat in itself. It might have been a bit early for Luffy to be called an Emperor, however he thought that it would fit him nicely, especially since he was going to be Pirate King soon enough. And what’s a mere Yonko to a King? Sooner or later, Luffy was going to have defeat all of them in order to achieve the title of king. But he knew that he could do it, there was no doubt in Shanks mind. However, something did concern him, greatly. Something evil.

Watching Bride’s antics, he couldn’t help but lean back and take a swig of his sake. Delicious, it was perfect for a celebration. The whole crew was dancing in joy, something that made him wish would last forever for them pirates. The parties, the joy, the sake those were all of the things that he cherished as a pirate. However, even he knew that wouldn’t last forever. Not while a certain evil was among them. Taking another swig of his drink, he looked towards Bride with a certain look in his eye, one that he had seen his own captain have just before he turned himself over to the marines. “Bride... we need to talk.” He told as his voice dropped into a serious tone. “Luffy is a strong pirate and I have doubt in my mind that he will become Pirate King one day, however I want to talk to you about a certain pirate.”

Shanks kept watching her as he said those words, choosing every word as carefully as possible. “There’s no doubt in my mind that Luffy is strong, his power is incredible especially for his age. However, that man is something else entirely.” Yes, besides talking to her about Luffy’s new bounty and to celebrate that, there was something else entirely that he wanted to talk to her about. Something that troubled him greatly. “If it comes down to it, I might have to fight him.” Fighting was an understatement, no what he meant was to kill him. “But he’s strong, might be even too strong for me to handle.” That’s right, looking at it now, that fat bastard will no doubt get even stronger and he could guess who his next target might be, especially with Luffy trying to take down the Yonko. “I might not make it.” He whispered the last part as he smiled sadly at her.

Breath of the Wild Au, pt. 1

To those of you still riding this ride, here's a pic I literally finished coloring today. I think the trickiest part was selecting what colors would work for her make up, but I think she rocks it pretty well!

I drew this AGES ago, along with four others that all take place in the same au (so if I ever get around to coloring them, they'll be up next). At first glance, the gerudo stole my heart. I easily pictured Bride in their garments and began to visualize what her life would be like. However, I came to a conclusion.... but that's a tale for another day!

Snownball souffle. With marshmallows. It was *not* easy, but she'd done it, with a few cheatsy tips from Noctis but it was still *her* festive idea, molded and made with her own two hands so that should count for something. A lot of something. Now, if only gift-giving face to face wasn't so stressful. She didn't recall knocking but the door opened, and she all but shoved it at him. "Hey, hon, I made you a little something."

Nicolas could hear the familiar heeled gait of Bride as she approached his room. He sprouted a hand to open the door for her. 

Raised brows and a curious smile showed on Nicolas’s features as he accepted a box with an interesting dessert. He was eager to try Bride’s cooking, regardless of how imperfect it looked. She probably was fretting over it. 

“For me? I’m honored.” he thanked, picking up a spoon to dig in. 

It was sweet..but the cinnamon helped balance the sweetness. 

he took another bite and made an appreciative hum. 

“mmm. This is good. Wanna bite?”

Breath of the Wild Au, pt. 2

I’m not at all sorry. Giganthicc color blossom Bride was an absolute must! I was hooked on the great fairy designs from the jump. I only wish I’d taken the time to style her magic lake once I got the pose and accessories out of the way.

Babbling aside, Great Fairy Bride would act as an easter egg for Link: as a reward for revitalizing the others, she would reveal secret armor/weapons and befriend him. Unlike the others, she was not saved by Link, but a boy long ago when she was much younger and smaller.

This spicy fairy dwells in the brutal, skin-broiling region of Eldin, entirely content with and apparently unbothered by the climate, although, on the rare occasion, she can be seen fanning at herself with a manicured hand or smoothing beads of sweat from the sides of her neck and shoulders as she shifts about in her private sauna. Erupting violently overhead, raspberry mass curls and slithers seemingly of its own accord as she loses herself in treasures and cosmetics, ever so often changing up should her savior return to her.

It’s been half a year since I remade Camilla’s blog (oh gosh how time flies). I can’t believe I’ve already reached the 300 follower mark tbh. It really warms my heart that despite my lack of activity people still love my character and still follow me. It’s been two months shy of 3 years since I created a blog for Vastor Camilla the Strawhat cabin girl. Over those years I made some wonderful friends and seen some amazing blogs.
