even just going on youtube i've seen some nasty stuff being said about faa and god, tennis fans really love being antiblack. this sport's so unwelcoming to black players it's awful. you can fucking bet if the player who had 3 opponents withdraw was white, similar ranking to felix, they would not be treated like this. you can bet no one would be talking shit about ben shelton for? having fun? if he was white. i don't know if people who didn't watch tennis when serena was still playing and being the best in the world know how much vitriol she got consistently, how much misogynoir she experienced on the daily. i've been a fan of hers since i started watching tennis in 2008 and the amount of fights i got into with people who said serena winning all the time wasn't fair bc she had an advantage, being too strong, too muscular, too manly, etc. typical antiblackness and specifically misogynoir. and it's typical antiblackness to not only call a black player undeserving, but make it into a whole fucking campaign on how the other player, white, needs to win or it's the death of tennis. let's be real even if felix plays the match of his life and wins, he'll never be given the credit that yes, he'd deserve. it's just really fucking obvious no matter what black players do, they'll be held to impossible standards, blamed for anything not going in their white counterparts' favor AND always "criticized" for things that people wouldn't "criticize" a white player for

Before going back to the Challenger recaps, a must-dump moment came from Rome M1000 men's singles semifinals, when Holger Rune shouted "JAAAAA" after holding his service game to 6-6, bringing the first set to the tie-breaker.
Eventually, it was an almost smooth tie-breaker for Casper Ruud as he took the first set 7-6(2), but as this was written, Rune just leveled the match to 1-set all after taking the second set 6-4. The third set should get completely saucy by then...

You were so right about BMW livery :( last year it looked so much better
I know. It's all about the vinil placement
I first notice that when Ilya Mikhalchik did his appearance in WSBK. He use this livery
Tumblr media
Yeah it looks okay, but compared to the official or the Bonobo livery, you can see the differences
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Perspectives also play an imprtant role. When I saw the 2021 and 2021 BMW on track I saw a sexy female (BMW official), while the Wild-card seemed a bit more bored. The Bonovo one actually looks like a middle age man.
And this year, it's not just a female, both the Bonovo and the Official team looks much more masculine. I don't know if they have changed something with the aero/front of the bike due to the restriction of the series.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once again, perspective plays a role. Depending on whhic photos, the official bike looks angrier that the Bonovo, and in others, it's the Bonovo who looks angrier. When racing, the Bonovo looks a little bit worse.
I do not like it, I want back my previous livery. Give me back that sexy female look.

It would have been interesting if you had also given each skin different modifications like the military one doing less damage because of the silencer.
But I am glad you are documenting the different versions of this weapon.

The setup of the match tie-break was important to see the direction of the flow, followed by its follow-up where every element counts (especially under perssure). Ramsbury set the first points really well, securing their one-point lead (1-0) after Joe’s forehand got Andrey’s forehand going too far. They followed with two service game holds (in match tie-break standards) until 3-0, with the latest being an unreturned serve, before doubling that mini-break with credits to Raj’s swift forehand return to Purcell’s serve.
A working serve+1 minimized the gap for Purcell/Andrey to 1-4, before Raj’s volley side failed in trying to respond to Andrey’s forehand to minimize the gap even further to 2-4. The next thing, a net exchange tested both pairs’ reflex with Andrey’s forehand error to close in response to Joe’s volley in several occasions, strengthening Ramsbury’s lead to 5-2. Unfortunately, Andrey double-faulted his service game for that lead to be extended (6-2) before the gap got minimized (6-3).
The last points affirmed Ramsbury’s control of the flow in the match tie-break after the aforementioned solid setup, combining the point construction and pacing to press Purcell/Andrey’s service game even further. An unreturned serve further expanded Ramsbury’s lead to 7-3 before they got away with the lead even if there were some gap minimizers in between (at the expense of Raj’s volley error), creating their match point to 9-4 thanks to Joe’s volley from the previous volley and forehand (to Andrey’s volley side). Ultimately, an unreturned serve secured Ramsbury’s match for the taking, winning the match tie-break 10-4 to secure their semifinal spot–likely the first after ages (with the most notable one dated all the way from Pune 250 last January).
