what are your favorite albums of all time? choose as many as you want idek
Oh, is this inspired by my "details" post? Hmm, okay, let's try this:
"Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, Vol. 1" by Coheed and Cambria. It's a concept album and I could not tell you the fucking concept outside of like... misogyny and violence. AND YET... it has stood the test of time. The guitar on every song FUCKS. Interesting vocal tone. Experimental and nonsensical FUN rock music.
"Europop" by Eiffel 65. The blue da ba dee album. The rest of it is really fucking good pop electronica. Or it's just so nostalgic to me I can't see how generic it is. IDC, the synth goes oFF without being too high energy.
"Details" by Frou Frou, obviously. Similarly, "Speak For Yourself" by Imogen Heap. While these albums don't contain my FAVORITE songs involving Imogen, they are my fave collections of her work. Music that feels like nostalgia--like guzzling a sparkling potion that bubbles inside you and pushes your sadness and fears and LOVE from your heart into your pores. Pop music for people who care about storytelling, lyrics, and true emotional connection.
"Multitude" by Stromae. Another, "Idk if fmy fave songs are on this album, but the project on the whole is the best one." Diverse sound, brilliant execution every time.
"Heart Station" by Utada Hikaru. Choosing a favorite Utada piece is hard but I think this has the tightest collection of tracks? Similar appeal to Imogen, though the musical influences are ethereal in a different way.
"Las Ruinas" by Rico Nasty. It's hard to even describe this album but I like how Rico keeps pushing new boundaries. I do like the dancier tracks here.
"Alive 2007" by Daft Punk.If you know Daft Punk, this is essentially a megamix of some of their best songs.
"Coloris" by She. Chiptune, electronica, idk how to describe this album. Feels like your brain is being carbonated.
"Renaissance by Beyonce." Sorry, such a generic answer I feel but... she did it. She put all her power into a dance album with diverse sound, making it all accessible without being watered down.
"Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" by MCR because duh.
"Commit this to Memory" by Motion City Soundtrack. If you were an emo kid and wanted to kill yourself in the mid 2000s, you know this album. Even if it Kills Me is a close second, btw. Or My Dinosaur Life. I love a lot of MCS tbh. It's emo... pop rock, not surprising for me.
"eMOTIVe" by A Perfect Circle. It's alt rock. It's anti-war and depressing. "Passive" was playing in my head 24/7; I'd mentally turn it into an AMV every single day fo my life for like a year. I wrote a poem about it. "Thirteenth Step" is a very close second.
Technically, it should be "Hold Your Colour" by Pendulum, since it got me into Drum & Bass but I prefer the rockier depths of "Immersion."
"The Happy Star" Lexie Liu. Experimental pop music that reinvents itself each track, sampling from different genres. I just find it really enjoyable and keep returning to it. Might be recency bias.
"333" by Tinashe. An album tht contains the whole human experience--sadness to horniness. Good for her. You can dacne AND cry? Good for you.
"Remember that You Will Die" by Polyphia. Largely instrumental... prog rock meets trap meets electronica?
Choosing a one direction album feels like being threatened at gun point so I won't. Just know they belong here.
"Making Mirrors" by Gotye. People mock him for disappearing after someone that i used to know BUT DID YOU STREAM THE ALBUM?? Jazzy at times, rocky at times, psychedelic at times, BUT DID YOU LSITEN????
The Sims (Original Soundtrack). If you don't get it, I'm not explaining. Kill yourself.
"Perfect Velvet" by Red Velvet. I do think this album is the best kpop has to offer and I'm not fucking joking. I think SM put so much of their pussy in this track, it made their downfall years later inevitable. SM music is so sketchy now because the entir ecompany sold their souls (and pussies, bussies, and extraneous holes) for this album. "I Just" and "Kingdom Come" alone are like... god tier. R&B by a kpop group done CORRECTLY.
"Reborn" by Kavinsky. Feels like alternate timeline Daft Punk, including the The Weeknd knock off track. I couldn't... not love it.
Foster the People's "Supermodel." This alt-rock album got to me when I was profoudnly mentally ill in college and never let me go.
"Season of Poison" by Shiny Toy Guns. I love their first album just as much, tbh, but the anger feels like it's aged better. This album feels like a God's retribution. It feels a religious experience, including all the scary kinds.
"What's Your PLeasure?" by Jessie Ware. Disco-y pop. Sensual. Slick. Longing.
"1 of 1" by Shinee. CHoosing a Shinee album was HARD. Incredible kpop. If you want SIIIINGERS, COME HERE LISTEN OT THEMMM.
and if I didn't want Brendon Urie dead it would be a fever you can't sweat out btu I literally can' tlisten to his voice without my stomache hurting so
I'm probably missing a bunch but these are the first to come ot mind while quickly scrollin thru my phone
feel free to ask me my fave tracks off the album or by these artists
#the fame monster srhould probably be here tbh#should actually have chronic future's lines in my fae album here#but i don't... revisit the album much#but time and time again is one of my favorite songs of all time#it's not good music tho#hmm bombay bicycle club shoul dbe somewhere her ebut i forget the album for yers at a time#before it takes over again

whats the policy on covers? particularly theres this one cover artist i know who makes whole new songs out of the ones hes covering so id wanna submit some of his
that is an excellent question and one i honestly will tell you i hadn't thought about. but i think i'm going to draw the line at songs that are lyrically different. So for example, i would consider I'm Blue by Eiffel 65 and I'm Good by Bebe Rexha to be two distinct songs despite them musically sounding the same, but i would not consider this cover of I'm Blue to be different because even though it is musically extremally different, lyrically it is still the same as the original
#this would also have minecraft parodies fall under different songs etc#i think thats a reasonable line to draw#non-poll

Lyrics:
Yo, listen up here's a story
About a little guy
That lives in a blue world
And all day and all night
And everything he sees is just blue
Like him inside and outside
Blue his house
With a blue little window
And a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him
And himself and everybody around
Cause he ain't got nobody to listen to
I'm blue
Da ba dee da ba di
Da ba dee da ba di
Da ba dee da ba di
Da ba dee da ba di
Da ba dee da ba di
Da ba dee da ba di

I have a blue house
With a blue window
Blue is the colour of all that I wear
Blue are the streets
And all the trees are too
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue
Blue are the people here
That walk around
Blue like my corvette its in and outside
Blue are the words I say
And what I think
Blue are the feelings
That live inside me
I'm blue

When did you realize you loved travelling
It was pre-9/11. To travel to Canada all you needed as a child was your birth certificate. My grandparents purchased a Minivan to take four lucky grandchildren to Niagara Falls, Canada. The second row seats reclined and had headphone jacks. No TV screens, you could just listen to the music playing in the car at your own volume. I remember this was one of the big things us, kids argued about when we started our road trip with our grandparents. My grandmother ended up putting us on a rotating schedule so that each kid got a turn sitting in the reclining seats.
So you had myself, my older sister, and two cousins. I was the fourth oldest and just made the cut out of the 9 grandchildren to be selected for this journey. I remember a few things from the road trip. I remember myself and my cousins arguing the true lyrics of Eiffel 65's "I'm Blue (da ba dee da ba die)" I remember trying to play I-Spy with the only thing we could "spy" being green or brown. We spent nights camping on the cold upstate New York ground and we went to an amusement park that had a night time laser show where I first heard and fell in love with Sting's "Desert Rose". Oh the 90's, a time to be alive!
After spending a few days around the Falls and going to a Church (my grandmother was very religious and even a once in a lifetime trip was not going to stop her from taking us to Church even though I believe it was not Roman Catholic and in French — I remember the front of the church had this enormous larger than life-size boat with the Apostles casting a net to one side and this boat was just SO DISTRACTING.) We headed back to Rhode Island. I remember asking every visit with my grandparents afterwards for a long time when we were going on another road trip, not knowing that would be my only road trip with my grandparents. Since then I've always thought about "where to next" even now I have several saved "dream" trips saved to my Trip Advisor profile just in case I ever become rich.
So that's when I realized that traveling was for me. No matter how many times I've gotten out off of a plane and crashed onto my bed after a a long travel day it takes no time for me to get bit by the travel bug again.

idk if they're music is actually classified as techno but I totes recommend Team Grimoire for music :3c very high energy I love listening to them
I've listened to a few of their tracks and I like what I hear but I don't necessarily think it's techno. That's not to say my word is law or anything.
I think when it comes to music genres are actually really dumb these days because you have so many layers of genre now. Like I have literally seen Acid Jazz called Down-Tempo and then the same song was called Weirdcore and that same song was called Exotic Lounge and like, technically those are all different genres but here we are.
A big reason I have such a deep love of old Techno Trance music is because it's what I grew up with, or more specifically what was played at the underground warehouse raves I would DJ at. I feel like I've spoke on that a lot already but I guess to help classify what I'm talking about examples are the best option.
When I talk about old school techno trance music a lot of what I'm talking about falls into sounding like this:
youtube
You also have well known artists like Basshunter or Gigi D'Agonstino:
youtube
and even some artists who are still making music to this day have absolute classics out there like DJ Satomi:
youtube
If the name Gigi D'Agostino rings a bell however it's likely for his song The Riddle which has literally over 100 Million views on Youtube (at least the original upload which wasn't by the original artist sadly, does.)
youtube
A lot of this music was played at the raves I went to, and those raves introduced me to artist like Scooter and such, believe it or not that was actually where I became familiar with the bulk of Eiffel 65's music other than just you know, Blue.
At the end of the day music genres are more or less up to interpretation which is an issue I run into a lot while discussing music. Something I've gone on record saying is that music is great but genres have become completely irrelevant. Which is something I stand by 100% that's not to say genres can't be applied to music nor that they don't help to explain music. But I think even within a genre there's so much overlap and so much variance that it's almost pointless now. Like I'd classify what I've heard of Team Grimoire as speedcore, but I don't know if I'd lump them in with artists like USAO, RoughSketch, or P*Light. Somewhat yes, somewhat no. Like it's almost closer to something like S3RL's more recent works which is technically classified as Happy Hardcore/Hardstyle but seems to greatly be leaning into Gabber and Hard Bass.
You have songs that absolutely fall more into Speedcore than Hardcore but then you have others that would be Melodic Hardcore. Like Rrhar'il which feels more Melodic than things like Grievous Lady, and while Sheriruth is absolutely upbeat, I think calling it Speedcore is kind of a gross over-exaggeration.
I've yet to find anyone who sounds similar to what I've always heard called Techno Trance and is now referred to as Old School Techno.
I think Genres are dumb though if I'm being entirely honest, with the creation of the internet we had the death of the genre. Things like Nightcore for example, used to actually be proper genres. Believe it or not when Nightcore originated it was (if I'm remembering correctly) the name of an artist who made pop songs into Night Club style dance tracks, hence the name. It later evolved into a style of remixing where artists would take popular songs and make them EDM tempo, however I cannot make it important enough to emphasize the word "remix" here, these songs weren't just pitch shifted or tempo bumped. They were properly remixed including entirely new melodies, new segments to the songs; sometimes even new lyrics and bridges. When it became popular with the up and coming young Otaku community however, we saw a rise in popularity where people would take a song, tempo/pitch shift it; and upload it. Obviously this could be done significantly faster than artists actually taking the time to add various samples, melodies, lyrics, and other mixes into their songs. So the genre of Nightcore became overwhelmed by these cheap two second fad songs. That became the norm, and people made it popular because a lot of the people who listened to it genuinely, and this isn't a put down; didn't have the capacity to hear it and think critically about what they were listening to. They just heard a fast paced song they liked and went "oh cool anime picture dude" and ta-da the genre was killed. Then this happened with Vaporwave, losing any identity it had and becoming "just slow the song down" and then it happened with Future Funk losing everything that made it a unique and interesting spin on retro funk and disco music; instead becoming "take any weeb song, speed it up; and add a drum loop in fucking garage band!"
It has happened over and over again, we're seeing it happen now where every song that has a certain kind of sound to it is being labeled as Dreamcore or Weirdcore (which are used interchangeably so that's cool, we literally have two labels that can mean the same thing depending on who you ask.) Ironically I've seen "Vaporwave" songs called Weirdcore/Dreamcore because they follow the same formula now. This all goes to ignore a lot of the actual genres behind these songs, no one* knows what acid jazz, or exotic lounge actually is anymore.
*No one here meaning "the majority of people who run popular music channels on youtube and just name drop whatever popular genre they feel like
I've even been told that the music I call Techno was in fact just European Pop where they come from. It sort of became an issue of "if we let people call anything whatever they want, there comes a point where it doesn't mean anything at all." You of course have music snobs who argue what a song REALLY is back and forth to no end. You have people who say "it's an umbrella term" which doesn't change the fact that the umbrella covers entirely too many different things to actually help define the music.
At this point I'm just starting to give people examples of what I'm talking about, whether it be direct links to music or outright name dropping artists because I feel like the water of genres has become too muddied for everyone to see the same thing. Which isn't me saying "I'm right and everyone else is wrong and stupid" it's me saying "none of us know what a genre is anymore and that's a problem we ALL face, myself included."
Given the way I learned about genres through popular word of mouth and other people telling me "this is techno that's hardstyle, etc." I could be as wrong as anyone else. I've even heard people say "well the artist calls it this kind of music so it's this kind of music" and as someone who has made music and played in a band before, I cannot tell you how stupid an artist can be about their own music. If I play some Jazzy Lounge music and say it's Speedcore that doesn't make it Speedcore, it just makes me stupid.
Regardless, while I don't know if I would consider their music to be Techno, I will say that I have enjoyed what I've heard of Team Grimoire and I appreciate the recommendation! I always love discovering new music to listen to :D

26. three favourite non-English songs
AHHHH that's like...a lot of what i listen to? so--for each song imagine that there are like 50 i could have chosen to put there instead lol
-kangë e shahirav - mc kresha/lyrical son
-les étoiles vagabondes - nekfeu (the album of the same name is amazing, but the title track is my favorite--however it's nowhere to be found on youtube?)
-this one is actually the song i consider to be my favorite song ever: bonden og elverpigen by sorten muld (if someone wants to listen to this, you need to use headphones and if you have multiple pairs like i do then use your best ones...trust me)
runner up: mayn rue platz -- a yiddish/american song about the triangle shirtwaist factory victims
29. three songs that influenced you most (some songs change or save lives)
-am i demon - danzig
-transition - underground resistance
-fixing a hole - the beatles (this song hit hard when i was like 8 years old lol...i found a lot of comfort in "and it really doesn't matter if i'm wrong or right/where i belong, i'm right/where i belong")
30. three songs you really want your followers to know
this is tough--i think i have perfect taste in music, but i also know it's not all to people's taste. also music recommendations make me STRESSED
how 'bout
this 80s style remix of "new rules" -- dua lipa's voice is anachronistic somehow; people didn't sound like that in the 80s? but other than that it's SO good like...the people who did this truly understand what 80s music sounded like lol. but be warned that i'm an 80s fiend lol
TEA FOR ONE by LED ZEPPELIN i swear i am the only person who's ever heard this song...it sure feels that way (but you have to get past the first 20 seconds of doofy led zeppelin intro -- i love led zeppelin so i say this affectionately --first)
gnidjougouya - amadou & mariam (it's so Good)
bonus: if you'd like to get a better picture of me, when i was in 6th grade my favorite songs were like... blue eiffel 65, livin la vida loca, the hardest thing by 98 degrees, genie in a bottle, and mahler's kindertotenlieder number 3 (wenn dein mütterlein tritt zur tür herein)

Stephen is, obviously so, aware of those plans that exist within other people's minds; Plans that include trying to make him lose his goddamn mind because of the music that's blasted through the whole of Kamar-Taj, trying to make him go insane - and become annoyed - because of the choice of tracks that's echoing along the halls.
...Joke's on him, though: Stephen is actually a huge nerd in some ways, and he's absolutely listening to a lot of those songs whenever he's got his iPods in. In fact, some pieces he's feeling connected to in an almost emotional level are outright embarrassing, and he would never admit to ever listen to them - others might just be extremely cheesy in different ways, older than some students are that are taught within the ancient walls, which causes some sporadic teasing to happen every now and then.
So, when Eiffel 65 reaches his ears - in an attempt to wreck his nerves, obviously so - Strange just hums; A brief spin of the hallway, a jolt in reality, and he stands in front of the kitchen's door, pushing it open in a swift motion.
"---So fucking glad you chose the original version; Did you know that some godforsaken soul has actually covered this song, but completely changed the lyrics?!"
Oh, Stephen is definitely complaining about that while making his way over, knitting a set of brows while trying to take a peek ah what's being cooked up today.
"---I think the chorus is something like... 'I'm good, yeah, I'm feelin' alright', some abomination of what it once meant. Caught a student listening to it a few weeks back, gave them a not-literal ass-whooping for daring to even think that this version is cool to begin with. If we gonna listen to 'I'm blue', then we do it the right way."
— @mistrdctr asked for a starter; bothering strange edition.
As a dear friend and a thank you for the community the Kamar Taj had embraced, and all the help they had given her to understand and domain her powers, Wanda usually went to cook them every Saturday evening, as a token of her appreciation, and that she knew they rather buy tuna sandwiches at Subway than cook for themselves; Wanda's best helper was Wong, who was becoming an expert in cooking whatever they had set their minds to, running from macaroni and cheese, to Sokovian culinary foods, sometimes even making pasta from scratch. As soon as Wanda made her way to the kitchen, with floating paper bags of whatever menu was up for that day, the whole place started to blast electronic music, first of all, because that set her happy mood, second and most important was to annoy Stephen Strange, which she and Wong had a pleasure in doing so. As they were cooking Effiel 65's Blue was blasting, Wong made a comment about how that song was about Stephen, making Wanda let out a loud cackle, before the kitchen doors open, the one they were talking to walking in, and in unison, they started to sing, "I'M BLUE, DA-BA-DEE, DA-BA-DI, DA-BA-DEE, DA-BA-DI, DA-BA-DEE, DA-BA-DI.."

Survey #457
“blue are the words i say and what i think / blue are the feelings that live inside of me”
Do you buy your lingerie at Victoria’s Secret? No. That shit is so overpriced and not for my size group. Would you ever use an online dating service? I never would again. Are you good at multitasking? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Have you ever eaten Frosted Mini Wheats? Ugh, those are so gross. What does your bikini look like? You think THIS bitch wears a bikini??????????????????????? Does age really matter in a relationship? To an extent, yes. How much does the last person you kissed mean to you? I honestly don't even know if I'd be here without her. Almost like magic, Sara popped back into my life right after I returned home from the hospital following my suicide attempt. She helped make recovery possible as a solid source of support. Do you use lotion? Not NEARLY enough. My skin is so dry; I need to. Do you believe in teenage love? I experienced it deeply and thoroughly, so yes. Have you ever sat on the roof of your house? No. Do you like Sublime? I like that one popular one of theirs. "Santaria" or whatever it's called? What’s your favorite movie genre? Paranormal horror, especially the "found footage" type. It's creepy to imagine it being actually real. Is there a celebrity that you’d be willing to have a one night stand with? If he was single? I know in my gut I would lmaooooo Do you want to live in your current town the rest of your life? OH MY GOD PLEASE NO If you found out today your best friend was gay what would you do? She's demisexual, so. She can like anybody. If you could get a pet for free today-what kind/what name? A tegu, because it wouldn't need an enclosure that I don't have. I'd let it free roam. God, I can only imagine Roman's reaction. How many people have you slept with? If you mean what I think you do by "slept," one. Do you ever wish you had a family business to become a part of? Not really. What’s the most gruesome way you could come up with to kill someone? Hunny, have you seen my dark RP????? The world best be glad I'm a pacifist lmfao Do you think anyone deserves to die that way? I don't believe in torture, so no. If you had to fight for survival, what would your weapon of choice be? A gun, I guess? I'd want something with range and that's quick. I wanted to say a bow and arrow, but preparing another arrow after shooting once could really cost you your life. Where did you buy your favorite pair of jeans? I don't wear jeans anymore. Do you have a large dog? We don't have a dog, period. If not, are you afraid of them? No, I love big 'ole puppos!!!!! I just don't wanna own a dog myself. Are you good at playing darts? Holy fuck no, I have NO hand-eye coordination. I once stabbed the guy at a balloon popping booth thing with a dart in the arm, if that tells you anything, ooooooooooof. Do you like breaded chicken sandwiches? YESSSSSSSSS omg Do your parents know that/if you smoke? They know that I don’t. Have you ever been under a blacklight? Omg so in elementary school, we did this thing once where we all washed our hands as best we could and then put them under some sort of light (maybe a blacklight, idk???) to see JUST how resilient germs are. You gotta scrub the fuck out ya hands, people. How many pounds do you want to lose? I'd rather not share a number, but a lot. What’s your favorite natural phenomenon? The Northern Lights. Do you snore? Very surprisingly for someone with sleep apnea like mine, I actually don't. How many people do you know with the same first name as you? Off the very top of my head, one, but it's spelled differently. I KNOW I know of a shitload more Brittanys, though. Is it possible you could be pregnant? Well, I haven't been intimate with a man in years and just finished my period, so like- Could you go a day without texting? I go most days without texting. Do you have a step-parent? My dad is remarried, so yes. If so, do you get along with them? She's EXTREMELY Christian, so her beliefs wildly disagree with mine, but I keep my mouth shut a lot just to keep the peace. She IS a very sweet woman, nevertheless, and am glad she and my dad are so happy together. Does your current/last job require that you wear a uniform? My last job (which lasted not even two hours lol) did. When will your driver’s license expire? My permit has been expired for like... two years. Do you live in an apartment? No. If the last person you kissed proposed to you what would you say? That's too wild a concept to even imagine. I'd probably ask if she was okay lmao. Would you ever get back with one of your exes? Weeeelp, I want to get back together with Girt. Pretty badly. Write a foreign word, and what it means: "Schadenfreude" is a German term that essentially means secondhand embarrassment, but it doesn't have a perfect translation. Is there an ex you think about everyday? Inevitably. That's PTSD, my friends. Who is the last person that you said I love you to, besides family members? Sara. What's the worst thing you have ever said to anyone? Something along the lines of "no one could ever love you like I do." It boils my blood just typing that; I considered even deleting this question. That quote right there is fucking manipulation, even IF I thoroughly believed it. Who was the last person to comment one of your pictures? I don't feel like looking. Do you tend to go for older or younger when looking for someone to date? It's weird, I'm into slightly older-than-me guys, but probably girls who are barely a bit younger than me. Have you ever been used? I don't think so. Have you ever not been able to get someone out of your head? Like I've said in plenty of surveys: Jason is probably a permanent fixture. But also as of the past two days, Girt's been living up there. I went from "hmmm I just don't know how I feel" to "FUCK I want to talk to him about how stupidly into him I am right this fucking INSTANT" pretty goddamn fast. It kinda scares me just because of how extreme my feelings are. Again. That's only ever gotten me hurt. Buuuut let's not get into that. Have you ever got caught cheating on a test? No, because I've never tried to. Will your next kiss be a mistake? I hope it won't be. But it's not like I know the future. Have you ever worn an oxygen mask? Actually yes, when I was young and thought I was having an asthma attack or something. Mom had one for her own asthma. Then I obviously wore one for surgery. What song do you want to be played at your funeral? "Paradise" by Coldplay is absolutely #1. How many swear words are in the song you’re listening to? I'm not listening to music; I'm back to watching Gab play Sekiro. What color was the last swimsuit you wore? Black. Have you ever kissed anyone of the same sex, and if so, who? Yeah, just Sara. Who did you last tell to ‘shut up’? Ha, I think my WoW friend Lyndsey, but only playfully, of course. We pick fun at each other all the time. Would you ever get a tattoo of a boyfriend/girlfriend's name? NOOOOOOOOO. Are you one of those girls who already have baby names picked out? I know what I'd name my kids IF I actually wanted any, yeah, but I don't. Do you think guys with long hair are attractive? Yessss, I love long hair on guys. Are any of your siblings taller than you? I think Ashley is a liiiiil bit taller? I know my brother is, for sure. Have you ever scared someone so badly that they cried? Yikes, no. When was the last time you wore high heels? Boy oh boy, no idea. Is there someone that you want to hurt right now? Jeez, no thanks. What was the most interesting or colorful birthday cake you’ve had? I don't remember, but I'm sure something from childhood. What was the last thing someone bought you? Was it expensive? Mom bought me food from McD's, which obviously isn't expensive. Do you have any interesting moles anywhere you don’t want people to know of? No. Have you ever gotten high or drunk in a really formal place? Strong "no" there. Do you ever write poetry and post it on any certain websites? On the very rare occasion I write poetry and actually like it, I'll sometimes post it on dA. What do you miss most about your childhood? Actually, genuinely having fun and not dealing with fucking anhedonia. Would you like to know the precise date of your future death? Hell no. Do you photograph well? I'd like to hope so. Are there any animals you flat out refuse to touch? Maggots and similar bug larvae. What super power would you refuse, if it was offered to you, and why? Mind reading. It just sounds... awful and overwhelming. What’s your favorite discontinued product that you wish would come back? Oh, I KNOW I have answers to this, just none are coming to me immediately and I don't feel like sitting here for five minutes thinking about it. If adults had show and tell, what would you bring into work? My snek! :') If you had a reset button for the last 10 years, would you press it? Tempting, but... I don't think I would. I cannot go through how deep my depression was again. Who is someone you would never swear in front of? My nieces and nephew. Yes, I don't believe in profanity being a "thing" and is just a stupid human fabrication, but nevertheless I acknowledge societal standards and expectations, and they're way too young to get when you shouldn't say something like that and why. Have you ever won a contest or competition? A few. Who is your favorite TV character? I don't think I really have one? Do you coo over other people’s babies? Not really, no. Sometimes I'll think they're super cute and be like "awww," but I don't like... squeal and spaz like some people do. What is something that makes you very squeamish? VOMIT. Has there been a celebrity death that really affected you? Steve Irwin got me deeper than anyone else. Chester Bennington hit real hard, too. If you’re out of high school, have you stayed in touch with your high school friends? If you’re still in school, do you think you will? Most of my closest ones, yes, at least via Facebook. What’s a movie that you want to see? Old movie, but Jacob's Ladder. It was a massive influence on Silent Hill, so naturally, I'll probably love it. It's a classic, anyway. Do you use the same username everywhere online or do you have a lot? I use "Ozzkat" in most places, but I do have some other ones for different sites. Who was the last person you know who became pregnant? My friend Ana recently revealed she's expecting her second child, a boy. What fad were you actually into? I have zero clue. Have you ever tailgated? Would you want to? Fuck no. That's how so many wrecks happen. My sister legit got in a wreck with an 18-wheeler mostly because she was tailgating (which she does BADLY); she was trying to pass, and he moved over at the same time because he couldn't see her coming around. It's a borderline miracle she got out with only some cuts, bruises, and a seatbelt burn. Have patience, people. Get off cars' asses. Why did you fall for the last person romantically? Look, don't get me started on this. There are a shitload of reasons and I have been way too emotional over this the past few days laksdfja;lwke What’s the last thing you had to eat? A bagel w/ cream cheese for breakfast. Do you ever pick up your house phone? We don't have a landline phone. Truth be told, are you more into looks or personalities the most? Personalities, for sure. I cannot be into you if your personality isn't attractive.

I feel like the song “I'm Blue“ by Eiffel 65 fits its time perfectly, it announces the birthyear of thousands of depressed Gen Z kids. The English expression “being blue“, meaning “being sad/depressed“, is the main focus of the song's lyrics while hidden under the catchy and cheery signiture melody, which all perfectly illustrates the dark and depressing feelings Gen Z kids express through their cheery and unbothered attitude formed through dadaism and media. In this essay I will

[ID: a comic of Tim, Jon, Sasha and Martin from the Magnus Archives.
Tim is tall with short hair, a single earring and a buttoned up Hawaiian shirt. Jon is short with slightly longer hair and square glasses. He's wearing a button up with a sweater on top and a necklace with an eye hanging over it. Sasha has large round glasses and long hair in a bun with a hairband, she's wearing a blouse and skirt. Martin is fat with curly hair, large round glasses and freckles, he's wearing a sweater.
The first panel is uncoloured and shows Tim cheerily asking Jon: "Hey boss man, d'you think this part of the institute is actually haunted? I bet it totally is!" Jon looks down and away and says "Don't be ridiculous, the archives are prefectly fine."
The second panel has Tim sitting at his desk, he's telling Sasha, who's standing next to him: "Y'know, whoever this ghost is, they're actually pretty chill." Sasha replies "I know right? I came into the office today and the statement file I lost two days ago was on my desk."
The next panel has two drawings of Jon. The top left drawing is against a light blueish green background and shows Jon carrying papers, he's looking back at his desk with a confused expression. On the desk is a cup of tea labeled "Tea out of nowhere". The bottom right drawing shows the back of Jon's head against a warm pink background. He's walking up to his desk where a pile of papers lays neatly stacked, the stack is labeled "organized files". Next to it is a small card that reads "Take care of yourself!" and is signed with a heart. A symbol next to Jon's head indicated surprise.
The final panel shows Jon asleep on his desk. His arms a laying on a couple of papers and he's clutching his tape recorder with one hand. His glasses are lying next to him, on the other side of him lays a pile of books. Behind him stands Martin, a ghostly blue apparition with wispy trails flowing of him. He is gently laying a blanket on Jon's shoulders. Jon, the blanket, and the desk are shaded with gray.
The files Jon is holding in the third panel are actually partially readable. The bottom file has the lyrics to "Blue" from Eiffel 65. The visible part reads "I'm blue da ba dee da ba daa". The top file has the start of the statement from MAG 12, the visible part reads "I’m a nurse at Saint Thomas Hospital, down in Lambeth, near Waterloo Station. Technically these". It then turns into "Hello Jon. Apologies for the deception, but I wanted to make sure you started reading", this part of the text is recognizable but mostly blocked by Jon's body. /End ID]
Ghost!Martin AU!!! Because I feel like people are sleeping on Jon actually saying (AND I’M QUOTING FROM THE EPISODE) “Martin…You’re not, uh… You didn’t die here, did you??” ARCHIVIST LEGIT ASKED HIS ASSISTANT IF HE’S A GHOST AND NO ONE MADE AN AU???? FINE, GUESS I’LL DO IT MYSELF-
