spare info about your rook bls 🥺 if you have any thoughts yet 🥺 and your inquisitor! bls! 🥺 i can’t believe o either 1) didn’t know you played DA or 2) forgot DKAJDJD
Ohh I don't have much yet for my rook akkdkaka I have seen *some* of the veilguard news out there but I'm mostly avoiding story spoilers, so I haven't gotten into it that much(I've preordered it tho and I'm probably gonna be playing on launch day 👀). What I do know about my rook so far is that she's gonna be an antivan crow, a certified Goth Girl(TM) and also a little bit of a Sad Girl with an insufferable sense of humor. I'm not sure who I'm going to be romancing exactly but I'm leaning towards Bellara for her, just because I think their personalities might contrast a lot and I love me a little opposites attract djdjjfnfm (especially like when the two characters are only different on the surface but when you dig a little deeper they're extremely alike yk? I eat that shit up 👌🏻🍲🍴NEVER get tired of it cjjcjckvk)
Alsoo my inquisitor is ahhhh she's the love of my life 🫠 woman of my dreams 💕 she's a Trevelyan, a big warrior who wields two handed swords and has an affinity for the chantry(her family is full of templars and she was expected to become a templar as well) but also sympathizes a lot with the mages(one of her siblings, the one she's closest to, is a mage who's fighting alongside the rebellion- which is what ultimately leads her to side with the mages). She's very polite, kind, self sacrificing but works herself into the ground until she burns out and ends up causing more problems for people because of it. She's also GAY djjdjcjfjfk she gets easily embarrassed around pretty women(not smooth AT ALL) and she dates Sera <3 they have a messy relationship where they break up halfway through the game and get back together before the end(toxic yuri <3). Also she has mommy issues cjjfjckvkkgkv my girl is a MESS 😭 but she processes a lot of stuff throughout the game so by the end she's doing much better 👌🏻
By the end of trespasser she's married to Sera and has affiliated the inquisition to the chantry, now serving the Divine(she chose Leliana for the job). I don't know how they're gonna handle the inquisition in Veilguard since its fate isn't part of the choices you can make in the CC 🤔 but if it no longer exists, it won't be because of the choices Lynne made 🤷🏻♀️
Her name is Lynnette btw :3 most of the art I have of her is old but here's some of what I've drawn digitally:
#she's one of my oldest ocs so I have lots of traditional sketches of her BUT. they're all from when I was in high school jejfjkfkckvkg#so a little bit too outdated for me to share I think#but overall!!! so excited for datv!!!!!! I can't wait to play and develop my rook + see my inquisitor again <3#asks#dragon age#oc.lynne

Hey, it's a DWC prompt! How about "I can tell you're lying" from the fluff prompts?
The smell of hay was always a comfort after a long day of dealing with the political side of the Inquisition. Request after request, audience after audience. Barely time enough to sneak in the small cake Sera had stolen for her from the kitchen.
She had a bedroom, sure, and a very comfy bed, and while her room was several floors above the great hall, it wasn’t enough to silence the voices of those gathering and gossiping.
Lynnette accepted her duty as Inquisitor and had moments she enjoyed–it brought her back to the feeling she had as a senior enchanter at the circle–but there were times where it was a bit too much. A life of simplicity was a nice dream, and she felt closest to it when she lied on a bedroll near the stables using Blackwall’s arm as a pillow.
“Any of ‘em particular bastards today?” he asked her, curling his arm around her shoulder.
With a shake of her head, she sighed softly. Her fingers ran through the dark hair on his chest, slowing at the memorized strands that matched the silver at his temples.
“No,” she replied. “Nothing more than the usual.”
“I can tell when you’re lying,” he said, giving a small grin when she craned her neck to look at him. “What happened?”
“Oh, nothing really,” Lynnette said. “A young mage came in today. She had been with the rebels but ran off before we’d made it to Redcliffe.”
Her hand traced the hard lines of his collarbones, fingertips sparking a soft purple as she released tiny bursts of her magic.
“She reminded me of one of my students,” she continued. “Just in appearance. This girl was timid, quiet. My student was certainly neither. Her name was Annaby.”
Blackwall gave Lynnette a soft squeeze, prompting her to continue.
“Thinking of her… it reminded me of how much I miss teaching,” Lynnette explained. “I loved my apprentices. Some were a pain, of course, but I still wanted them to succeed.
“She had come from the alienage and was terrified, of course,” she continued. “ Kicking and screaming so much one of the Templars knocked her on the head with the pommel of his sword. I lit into the man and was immediately reprimanded.
“The Ostwick Circle may have been quiet compared to others, but we had our incidents. Annaby was the source of many,” Lynnette added with a sad chuckle. “She never outgrew her kicking spirit and her voice grew louder over the years. She argued and was insubordinate, but she was a gifted apprentice. She would have been a dangerous mage.”
“Would’ve?” Blackwall asked, his face falling as Lynnette glanced up at him.
“They didn’t allow her to go through the Harrowing,” she replied. “They thought she was too dangerous, too unwilling to act as the proper mage, the proper prisoner.”
Lynnette sat up suddenly and grabbed forearm, giving a slight tug to bring him up with her. Her eyes shined as tears pooled along her eyelid, but it didn’t seem to deter Blackwall from asking.
“What happened to her?”
“They made her tranquil.”
Blackwall sucked in his bottom lip and furrowed his eyebrows. Lynnette’s hand slipped into his and cradled each of his fingers.
She smiled, though it didn’t meet her eyes.
“Let’s get a drink.”
**I posted this from mobile and wasn’t able to mention @dadrunkwriting. It’s probably too late, but ah well. I’ll try anyway!

A little thing I wrote based around a fan created dialogue between the Inquisitor and Varric.
There were very few things Lynnette Trevelyan wouldn't butt heads with her advisors or her inner circle over. She was free now, to express her opnions without fear of retaliation or worse, and by Andraste she was going to do so! It became a well known fact for everyone in Haven, and then Skyhold that the Inquisitor would argue, loudly, with the Commander. She had made it clear to her Inner Circle she did not trust him, especially not with what she heard from other mages about his actions in Kinloch and in Kirkwall. So when Varric introduced her to Hawke, she wasn't sure how she would feel about this woman. After all the Champion of Kirkwall knew what he had done, and had let him walk away. Or, at least that's how Varric wrote it. Speaking to Marian, she was civil and polite, if a little cool, and decided she would press her luck and ask about Anders. The sheer ferocity of her words, defending the mage and his actions got a small smile from her. Varric commented they needed to mark the date on the calendars, as the Inquisitor had finally smiled. "So, Cullen. You let him live, after everything?" She asked gently, her smiling growing wider and more gleeful as Hawke passionately described him as a "worm" and how he "slinked" away, and Lynnette suddenly knew she could trust this woman. It took everything in her to not clap her hands in joy as she passingly mentioned that Cullen slept above his office, and casually mentioned when the runners all went to eat. Varric realized then that this was perhaps a mistake. Still, the Inquisitor offered her arm to Hawke, and invited her to dine with her. Maker they were getting on like a barn on fire. Later that evening, as Lyn finished her rounds for the night and settled next to Varric for a hand of wicked grace and some wine, she paused before sitting, moving to the doors of the great hall, listening.
"What's that screaming sound," she asked, feigned innocence in her voice. "It sounds bad." "Well, you do know Hawke is at Skyhold," he replied, shuffling the deck of cards as he watched her. She stood a moment longer before returning to the table and taking a seat with her back to the wall. "It's coming from Cullen's tower," she offered, pouring each of them a glass of wine. He hummed at that statement and started to deal them each a hand and nodded his thanks when she set his glass of wine down closer to him. "Yeah. We should go investigate, shouldn't we?" "We should," she agreed, taking a sip of her wine. "Perhaps a hand or two first? I'm sure it's just nightmares again." They shared a look and picked up their cards, unsurprised when the screaming stopped half a bottle later. Hawke joined them shortly after and Varric dealt her in, and Lyn poured her a glass of wine. They slowly started a conversation about Hawke's friends, and Lyn commented that they should see who would win, Isabela or Josephine. The rest of the night passed slilently, and Lyn finished it twenty gold richer. Oddly, Commander Cullen was reported missing the next morning, and after a week, Rylen was promoted. The man was suitable, at least for now.

@fire-shadow-dragon-god
you have me stumped
i literally do not know the multiples of four. i had to google it.
don’t feel bad, this happens anytime someone says multiples. and the questions are really good. i’m actually stumped at who to use.
so who do you want, Eliza Trevelyan, Callehan Mortenson, or Lynnette Amell.
One of these characters is not related to DA. I’m sure you can figure out who :P
