Being a horror fan is wondering how something can make you so relaxed and so nervous at the same time.

I love to imagine Laurie, Annie and Lynda crammed all cozy into Laurie's tiny twin bed at a sleepover that we all know they had regularly. Pre Halloween 1978 of course 🥰💖
who says they can't still do it

"Oh Laurie, when are you going to hurry up and get a boyfriend?"
Decided to sit down and enter Hyper Focus™ mode and do a piece for myself start to finish in one sitting.
Heavily influenced by the art style of the current project I'm working on at the studio. (seriously I'm in love with the character art)
I even went so far as to use our designated layout brush for the lines and treat shadows the same way.
I LOVE how this turned out! <3

Theme scenarios, huh? I see. Then, how about Lynda Van der Klok going on a Hawaii trip with male reader?
I’m doing this as a New Years Resolution to go on vacation to a place you’ve never been before.
Lynda is more than a little excited to go on this trip. When you first mentioned it, she was over the moon, squealing and jumping around the room. Get ready to spend more money because she wants to see everything. Nothing is too big or small. Most of what she wants to do is focused around going to the beach and shopping but she’s not against going to see volcanos or other natural beauty sites.
She is going to be the stereotypical tourist. There are no thoughts about the political situation of Hawaii or if there should be vacationers at all. If you’re someone who wants to learn more about island culture or to help out, Lynda won’t be joining you. She doesn’t mind if you want to go volunteer on your own but this is her vacation and she’s not going to waste it doing unfun things.
She loves the ocean. It’s one of the big reasons why she wanted to go to Hawaii in the first place. Haddenfield feels so cut off from the world and being by the ocean makes Lynda feel like she’s finally escaped the small town. If you really want to woo her, take her on a romantic evening walk by the water. She’ll feel vulnerable but in a good way.
Lynda loves taking pictures of the things she sees, wanting there to be memories for her to look back later. She’s low key afraid that this’ll be the only vacation that she’ll be able to go on. Pose for all the pictures she wants and offer to take hers; she’ll love you even more for it. And if you’re willing to help out even more, she might let you take pictures of something else…

Grilled Cheese Chapter 7
(September 1, 1978)
After yesterday, the masked man simply ignored me for the rest of the day until he was hungry and silently demanded me to make him food. After I did, he forced me into my room and locked me in. He only opened the door to let in Miss Petunia. The sun had sunk and glancing at the clock I saw it was six at night. I was currently laying on the floor on my stomach with Miss Petunia, softly brushing her fur.
I had managed to find some lotion in my room and gingerly walked to the mirror. Uncovering my bruised bottom, I hissed at the pain of the fabric lightly dragging over the welts. Looking in the mirror, my lip wobbled.
My (Y/S/C) skin was covered in dark red and blue hand-shaped welts, purple welts dotting the skin. Lightly brushing my hand over the marks, I hissed. It hurt so bad. Yes, I have had spankings before as a child, but then it was only a light pop, not a beating. Squeezing out some lotion, I gently applied it over the marks.
After, I put on a pair of loose sleep shorts. Then, I sat down on my bed, wincing in pain as I pressed my weight slowly down to sit.
Thankfully, I had a TV in my room that I found at a yard sale. I switched on the television, turning the volume down as I switched it to the news.
“Tonight, we will be covering the tragic deaths of teens Annie Brackett, Bob Simms, and Lynda Van Der Klok, murdered by escaped Haddonfield Penitentiary patient Michael Myers. One teen, Laurie Strode, had managed to evade the brutal hands of this killer, but not without gaining injuries. Ms. Bracket was found in the master bedroom of the Wallace residence, stabbed and strangled. Mr. Simms was also found in the bedroom, sharing the fate of being stabbed. Ms. Van der Klok’s body was found in the dumbwaiter, signs of asphyxiation being her cause of death. Before Ms. Strode was killed, Dr. Samuel Loomis had arrived on the scene and shot the offender multiple times. Michael Myers unfortunately had managed to escape before authorities could apprehend him. According to Ms. Strode and Dr. Loomis, Michael was last seen wearing a blue mechanic’s outfit, along with a stolen ‘Captain Kirk’ mask. Authorities say to dial 911 if you suspect you have seen this felon. Now, we would like to shift your attention to…” I had stopped listening after “stolen mask.” Holy shit, so I was right.
Mask-Man, er, Michael Myers, had killed someone. Rather, three teens. But why those teens? Was it simply bad place, bad time? Or was there a purpose?
I jumped as I heard the heavy chest blocking my door begin to move. I quickly switched off the television, laying back onto the bed and pretending to sleep. My heart raced in my chest as I heard the door open slowly, along with the slow steps on the creaky floorboards of my room. The steps stopped right in front of where I slept. Staying silent, I took slow breaths, hoping that he would think I was just sleeping as I heard him place something on my bedside table.
I forced myself to stay still as I felt him touch my side, right above my hip. I let him roll me over, my back now facing him. It took everything in me not to react as I felt him probe my ass, being surprisingly gentle. Then, he lifted the hem at the bottom of my shorts, and I felt rough calloused fingers grazing over my bruises, almost curiously. His touch neared more personal areas and I rolled over, pretending to toss and turn. He retracted his hands. All I could hear was heavy breathing. Then, I heard him turn around and walk out the door, closing it behind him. I heard the chest being dragged back in front of the door, and I breathed, relieved and terrified. I clasped my hand over my mouth, shaking in my bed. I looked over my shoulder, curious of what he placed on the table.
It was some pain medicine, along with a piece of Halloween candy.

The next morning, I was startled awake by the sound of the chest being dragged from my door, before the door opened slowly, revealing Michael.
We just stared at each other, not saying a word.
“Hi?” I asked, confused on what to do. I mean, he seemed to tolerate me, unless I tried to hurt him or run away. Considering he is mentally ill serial killer, I felt like the best path would be to play along, be a good hostage, and try not to piss him off.
“Are you hungry?” He remained silent, only moving aside. I nodded, understanding what he wanted.
“May I get a shower and get dressed first please?” I asked. He said nothing, his gaze focused on me. Seeing that he didn’t force me out of the room and into the kitchen, I will take that as a yes. Grabbing some clean clothes from my dresser, I laid them on my bed. Then, I took some underwear from my drawer, taking it with me into my bathroom that was connected to my room. I closed the door, cursing the fact it had no locks on it. Hopefully, the mentally ill man had enough decency to not come in.
As I was rinsing the shampoo out of my hair, I heard a loud thud downstairs, along with a few bangs before silence. Poking my head out of the shower, I listened harder, but heard nothing.
Maybe he dropped something on the carpet? I shrugged, continuing to bathe myself.
I threw on my clothes after the shower, thankful that he left the room so I may get dressed. As I pulled on my pant legs, I heard a scratching at the door, along with a small “mew?” I opened the door a crack and let Miss Petunia slip through.
“Hi pretty baby kitty how are you this morning?” I cooed, leaning down to scratch her head. She chirped, blinking slowly at me. I squinted as I took note of her chin.
Was that…blood?
Thinking back to what I heard earlier, I thought to myself ‘Oh shit.’
Rushing to my dresser, I grabbed some socks. I hopped, trying to quickly pull them on without tripping. I ran downstairs, afraid and hopeful of what I was to see. Hopeful that it was the police and that they got my captor, letting me return back to my normal life.
Turning the corner on the stairs, I gasped, my hand covering my mouth in shock.
On the floor, in a bloody mess, was my store’s assistant manager.

Sorry for a shorter chapter today. However, I did leave on a cliffhanger! I finally got home and unpacked after like two weeks of being with family and living out of a suitcase. not that I minded being with family, it just that living in a suitcase for so long makes me go stir crazy. bye bye, my fellow slasher sluts
