the first time I saw it I was like HOLY MOTHER OF GOD SOMEONE GET THIS GUY SOME CLOTHES because a couple months ago I was talking to someone who said they saw some scantily clad dude by paramecium pond just standing there really still and she was concerned and wanted to get him help but he disappeared after a while 

so I thought it was that guy back again but no it was a statue and I’m like wtf

it’s a really realistic statue, I’ll give it that, and for me it’s more of a source of amusement than anything else, but I understand that other students have legitimate concerns over the placement of the statue and I’d like to see it moved somewhere else, like the davis courtyard where not everyone will be forced to look at it

what really ticks me off is how the media coverage has completely misportrayed the wellesley community. we are a group of people who look out for each other and support one another in all endeavours, and we’re just trying to make the campus a safe place for our peers. the way they’ve couched the resistance to the statue makes it seem like we’re the offended-by-everything side of the tumblr sj community

that being said I don’t see how the statue is a symbol of male dominance and I also maintain that it is necessary to be able to cope with potential triggers in the future because the real world isn’t going to be as accommodating as wellesley. I like how the statue has actually opened the floor up for discussions like this, because now we’re actively asking one another how we can make the school a better place and that’s always good uwu

hey ame - i noticed that post you made about jewish representation in the early comics industry. i was wondering - did you read 'the amazing adventures of kavalier and clay' by michael chabon? it's about (shocker right here) two jewish cousins in the early comics industry and i consider it one of the most magnificent pieces of research AND writing i've ever encountered. if you've never heard of it, it's awesome, and if you have time, you should read it!

My father just recommended it to me! But if you do too, I'll definitely check it out!

I mean I assume not? but at this point I don't even know because this team seems adept at writing themselves into corners w/r/t diverging from the plot of the books...also I need Edmure. I neeeeed him. What is there left for me otherwise. 

(Except for the Martells, I still have the Martells. And also Meera and Sansa.)

not to call his undoubtable badassery into question, but isn’t it…. improbable… that he’d be able to escape the bloodbath happening OUTSIDE the twins?? how are they going to explain that

as I said to my dad...I do not think I can explain the executive decisions in this show. maybe there were orders to capture him and he was knocked out in the hallway on the way to go pee? I don't even know.

Sure, you can reblog it if you want to. (I usually put some message to the effect of “Do not reblog” in the tags if I don’t want people to reblog something.)

She was Balon and I was Aeron :P My Euron and Asha have also left tumblr. Sob. I miss the greyjoy-bolton stanning too tbh but that fandom is fucking exhausting.

( Fandom confession, I don't actually "like" the house bolton characters? Except Walda? I think they're brilliant characters but I only got at all attached to the house because the stans on tumblr were so great and such a breath of fresh air... last christmas I even did a dumb picture "in honor" of the bolton fandom hahaha most people liked it tho so I was happy )

also ahaha it figures Sam would be Balon, I forgot she had a related url for some time! AND YOU WERE AERON HOW NICE HE IS MY FAVE. when I think about it, I think I found your blog thanks to hers? or to housecreepy? idk but there was a time when houses greyjoy and bolton had the most perfect fans ever (maybe it still does idk i dont check the fandom much anymore)
