Now that the little Old Guard mini-comic is out, I have a couple of thoughts:

I've been wondering if comic!Nicky and Joe had met Lykon, judging by the timeline in there, and it's great to have an answer. However, did they ever mention him to Booker either? Comic!Booker has no idea who Noriko is, apparently has never dreamed about her, and nobody told him about her for 200 years. Explain yourself, Rucka.

Lykon's epithet is apparently, "Lykon the Freedman." My brain refuses to draw any links to "Nile Freeman" and any possible implications thereof.

It was a cute and adorable comic though, and I like Fernandez's art in here much better than previously. I found Noriko's ninja get-up a bit distracting though, but not as much as when she's got her tits out.
