Friday morning, best day ever and Lila felt excited that day, like nothing was going wrong in life, her perfect life. But the feeling turned into anger and disgust when Lila saw her enemy. Talking! With! Her! ADRIEN!

'this can't be happening, that naive girl had to stop going near my adrien! Something needed to be done'

Thats when an idea struck her, a plan to make every girl out there stood away from her adrien! No one but her can have him, Adrien will only be hers and they will be together forever. Gabriel better thank her after this cause this plan was the best plan she ever had

The brunette left from the school ground immediately, giving away fake smiles to those who saw her. She walked towards the Agreste Mansion instead of going to school, her mother will be very dissapointed but the old woman won't know anyway

A few days ago, Lila had seal a deal with Gabriel. She will 'protect' Adrien but in return, he must help her whenever she was in need for help. Now that won't be so hard to do, as long Marinette gave up on the boy, then Lila will be able to 'protect' him from the Bluenette. And about her lies, it's been 2 months and her lies were still not exposed, not that it's a bad thing

'So you think you can stop me, Marinette? No one, i repeat, no one can stop me' Lila thought as the gate opened for her

She entered the Agreste Mansion with ease knowing she was already given permission to enter whenever she wanted to. She gave the assistant a fake smile and gracefully walked towards the younger Agreste's room. The girl had been into his room a few times for 'tutor' but the smell of cheese just gets worse and worse. A bad habit she'll had to fix after he decided to date her

The brunette searched through his trash can, ignoring tons of crumpled papers with poems and drawings of Ladybug. After what felt like a hour or so, she finally found what she need. Tried to hold all the excitement as she placed it inside her handbag, nothing will be able to stop her from being with her Adrien

Lila cleared the evidence of her doing and brush off the dust off her clothes as she stood up. She went out of his room and left the mansion after saying goodbye to Nathalie

[the next Monday]

When Lila entered the classroom a lot of confidence and smirk on her face, Marinette suddenly knew that the liar did something but she won't be able to confront her inside the class. Not when the liar was surrounded by Marinette's friends, with the exception of Chloé who decided going to the spa was the 'best idea' at the time.

"Everyone, I have an announcement to make...." Lila said as she tried to not explode in happiness then and there

The other students chatter in wonder and confusion, buzzing with excitement for the announcement because Lila always did an amazing deed no matter where she went. Questions about 'what the announcement was about' were asked by everyone.

"Well..." the brunette started, "I am pregnant...." she acted scared and sad which somehow works as usual. (Bet you didn't expect that)

Anger filled the room, with a pinch of confusion

"Wha- when- Lila, who is the father?" Alya asked the girl, oh boy does she want to beat out of the boy?

Yes, she does

The brunette didn't answer which everyone thought she was forced not to tell who the father was, but then she opened her mouth, "Adrien's the father..."

"WHA- COUGH nInO hElP!" The boy in question choked on his water, his face screaming 'IM GONNA DIE' as Neene- i mean Nino tried to help his friend

When the words came out of her mouth, slowly one by one everyone went silent. Their expressions turned into anger and disgust. Lila thought it was towards Adrien but when the yelling started, she knew something went wrong in her plan. They were supposed to yell at him! Not her! (S u f f e r)

"Marinette, i want to apologize but someone needed to get their present first"

Alya walked closer towards the said 'pregnant' girl, "congrats Lila, here is a present from me!"

A loud slap echoed the classroom as everyone gasp in shock, Lila felt pain on her right cheek. Thats when she realized Alya slapped her, hard (and she can hear Alix and Kim in the background screaming 'ohhs')

'how dare she!? Who does she think she is!?'

"Uhm excuse me!?", oh god here comes daddy's girl "why would someone who is cute and smart like Adrikins! would want to be with a filthy liar like you!" Another loud slap echoed the classroom (y e s)

"WHY YOU!' Lila exclaimed in anger (makes her looks like a witch)

Soon, everyone started shouting and the teachers had to come in to hold back some of the students so they won't hurt the brunette. The principal heard about Lila's claim from Alya and decided to contact Lila's mom and Gabriel, they need to figure out what exactly was going on (first time taking action? I thought they'll just expell mote students- )

Class was dismissed that day so the teachers were able to talk with the parents about what happened earlier, Adrien was told to stay at school by his father considering Gabriel's social issues with the others, he needed his son (pfft- says the guy who can't even eat dinner with his son)

Principal Damocles explained everything to both of the parents, including Adrien, Gabriel threatened to make a restraining order against Lila because the she's using the Agreste's reputation and name for her own need. Lila's mom on the other hand, was trying her best not to scream then and there

Benigna Rossi thought she raised Lila into a good kid, her daughter was always kind, forgiving and honest. If you told Benigna that her daughter was manipulative, evil and a liar, well she won't ever believe you

But just imagine this! You just finished your work and was ready for some good nap HOWEVER your phone rang and the principal was there to tell you 'go to school now, i don't care if you're busy'. Then after you arrived, Gabriel freaking Agreste was ready to make a restraining order against your child, how terrific!

And oh it's not just that, you also received the news that the child you raised for years was lying to you and everyone the whole time. Wasn't it amazing? Yep it was. Then to receive another news that your daughter was pregnant and the father of the baby was innocent and didn't even knew stuff about the bird and the bees

F L I P P I N A M A Z I N G

Well her day was awesome, just earlier in the morning she said 'this is a beautiful day! Nothing can go wrong' well she jinx herself. Mentally smacking herself for letting this happen and also not raising her daughter better. But the woman knew better, she knew it's not her fault, she knew what to do, but will she be brave enough to do it?

And not even a month later, everyone in Paris discovered the pregnancy of Lila Rossi. Celebrities were interviewed and most of the topic was about Lila Rossi, about her lies and how some of might had an affect on their carreer. Most of them claim to not know her, but other celebrities who was familiar with Marinette exposed the liar, LIVE ON TV IN FRONT OF HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE

Yeah her reputation was gone, poof away into the wind in less than a month. All thanks to Lila Rossi herself for putting herself into this mess and didn't even think about other possibilities that could happen

Should i mention about the Ladyblog and how Alya managed to improve her blog? Yeah i probably should. Anyway, the ladyblogger herself took down every interview she had done with Lila. She also uploaded a video to explain why she took it down and to apologize for not fact-checking

From there, her blog had other contents other than a video of an akuma fight scene, Alya also uploaded a bunch of meditating techniques that will help anyone calm down. Not only that, she searched more about the miraculouses, her sources were from Ladybug herself so she didn't have to worry. More and more citizens knew how to stay calm and what to do when they got caught in an akuma attack (instead of recording everything when a freaking giant akuma was next to you)

All thanks to Lila Rossi, the Ladyblog had improve a lot. And the ladyblogger herself was invited to almost every news station, because she had proven herself to be a trusted reporter

And Marinette? She was happy, back to her usual cheerful self. Her teachers and friends apologized to her, she forgive them and yeah everything was back to the days where Lila wasn't in Dupont. Well, theres some good changes too, they now respect her feelings and was more understanding

All thanks to Lila Rossi, Marinette can now express her emotions and people around her didn't pressure her into doing stuff she didn't like

Well, you might be wondering, what happened to Lila Rossi herself? Principal Damocles expelled her from Dupont after hearing the claims from Marinette that Lila had threatened her twice. Both Lila and her mother flew back to Italy, Benigna Rossi decided to let Lila live with her strict grandparents

It was also discovered who the father of the baby was, turns out it was actually the Agreste's baby. Just not the younger one, the older one, Gabriel himself checked the cameras around the mansion and yep it was true! Lila was pregnant with Gabriel's kid

Her reputation was ruined as it was her who did it on purpose. The information was published by Alya, permission granted by Gabriel of course. The news were shared around the world, every news station was talking about Lila Rossi as the girl herself was suffering from being humiliated

What about the baby? Hmm who knows what will happen to it, at least we knew that Lila was not allowed to abort it because she cause the pregnancy to happen, and because she was a minor (i ain't letting the baby suffer- )

And there you have it people! Everyone had their happy ending, Lila Rossi? Not so much! But at least she wasn't in jail because working with a villain was a serious crime! Trust me, jail food ain't good (also no i haven't been to jail.....yet)

Hold up! Was that.....laughter? In the distance? Oh well why not show you guys who was behind all of this. Turns out, Tikki, Plagg and the other kwamis had planned this. Yeah thats right they were behind all of this! (P l o t t w i s t)

.....what? You think the tiny god of creation won't be upset if her chosen was being treated horribly? Well you're wrong terribly sweetheart. The kwami had planned this the whole time, after all she's the goddess of creation and literally anything that was created came from her. For example, the big bang! But we're not gonna talk about that-

Oh, so Adrien had accidentally left Plagg in his room the same day Lila barged into his room, what a coincidence! The tiny black cat of course had to tell his other half about Lila's plan, and so from there the Ladybug kwami gave tons of her luck to Marinette

Lila's plan might succeed if Adrien was a pervert or a player, it's a good thing he was a good sunshine kid! Who might lost his innocence after Lila's claim of being pregnant with his kid. Poor boy had been dying to know 'where babies came from' but lets not jump to another topic!

And thats all peeps! Everyone had their happy ending except for Lila Rossi. But she deserved it and every pinch of salt the kwamis threw at her (any Lila Rossi fan out there i am soo sorry)

One by One, Gone

(Thanks to @frostymoon11 for helping me writing this story)

After the events in Ladybug, Marinette's reputation at Dupont had gone downhill. Everywhere she went, there will always be looks of dissapoinment or anger towards her and people giving her cold shoulder

Alya, Nino and Adrien thankfully were still on her side, Marinette hated to admit it but they weren't as close as they were before Lila came. The conversations between them was rather forceful and awkward, anyone with brain cells can clearly feel the tension between the group of friends

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Week Later ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

She shouldn't had let her hopes up, Lila managed to completely turn Marinette's friends against her. It doesn't hurt, she only felt numb. Tired of Lila, tired of being used, tired of being left behind, tired of fake friends. What kind of Ladybug that had no luck? Maybe she wasn't made to be Ladybug

"Marinette? Maybe you should stay home today, you need a break from everything" said Tikki. The little kwami had been very supportive, theres no lectures or scolding ever since the day she got expelled, which thankfully was proved that Marinette was innocent. The kwami knew how evil Lila was, no way shes gonna let her chosen near that evil girl

"Are you sure? I've already missed too many lessons, Tikki. I don't think anyone will lend me their notes after...." she didn't finish the sentence but the kwami understood about what the girl was about to say

"I know, but you need to rest, Marinette. I'm sure your parents will understand, it's just for today"

The room grew silent, Tikki mentally begging her chosen that she needs to rest. Marinette glanced at her kwami, the tiny god had always supported her when her 'friends' didn't. With a sigh, she gave her answer

"Just for today, you can help me catch up on some notes tomorrow" She gave Tikki a small smile as the kwami snuggled against her

For a few hours, it was just both of them talking about miraculous stuff and Tikki helping her with designing. Her parents barely checked on her these days, they trust another girl's word rather than their own daughter's word, another prove that Marinette was truly alone. Wait no, she still had Tikki, Master Fu and....

Chat Noir

The bluenette couldn't trust him after the events of the sentimonster they call 'sentibug'. He grew....delusional and had been rather forceful with her superhero persona. Tried to kiss her several times, didn't want to fight if she didn't accept anything from him, tantrums about how they were 'soulmates'. Even went as far to....pin her onto a wall and made her swore to love him, of course she didn't but the hero couldn't shake off the chills and scared feelings when her supposed partner was around

THUMP

Both kwami and chosen jumped on air, yeah like literally. They glanced at each other then shrugged, wondering the same thing. The kwami flew towards Marinette and hide inside her jacket, the girl walked downstairs only to be welcomed by a 'crying' Lila with Sabine hugging her

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng" a familiar voice called her from behind, she turned towards the voice and was met by her dad. His expression cold and his tone scolding, she knew Lila must had something to do with this

"I can't believe that you were bullying Lila since her first day at Dupont, I thought we raised you better" the young designer flinched at the tone of his voice, his voice loud and clear full of anger and dissapoinment

She didn't notice that her body had started to tremble, the warm bakery now felt colder around her. Her heart breaks again into more pieces, refusing to feel the pain. She lets herself go numb, not wanting to feel anything other than the empty void inside her heart. She lost her parents. Whos next?

Later that night, her parents gave her a huge rant about how they raised her better, how they tried their best to be good parents only to receive news about their daughter, how they were very dissapointed

And so for a few weeks, Marinette's parents rarely spent time with her. They would sometimes phone Lila to ask about Marinette's behavior at school, which got Lila a chance to lie about her enemy. Some days Lila would visit the bakery and receive treats and compliments from Marinette's parents, while their supposed daughter was yelled at the whole time

Marinette's first breaking point was the moment she heard some things that she wasn't supposed to. But it proves another point,

"Oh Lila, thank you so much for helping in the bakery. Marinette never wanted too, it's so kind of you to volunteer. How did your test go?" Sabine asked Lila, as the girl helped carrying some supplies for her

"The test was very hard but overall i did well, thank you for asking Sabine!" Lila gave the woman a fake cheery smile

"Oh congrats! You're so smart, Marinette didn't do that well on that test..."

"Well, thats too bad. Maybe i should help her study for the next test" the brunette offered Sabine, still faking her smile

"Oh! You don't have to help her out, but that's so selfless of you. You're like the daughter we never had, I'm so proud to have you here" Sabine hugged the girl, as her daughter watched in the background, ignored and not seen, as always

She was truly alone huh....

Soon midnight came, her parents were asleep so it will be easier for her to ran away. A bag full of her clothings and materials, also a box of cookies for Tikki incase the kwami got hungry

"You ready, Tikki?" The kwami swallowed a cookie before nodding

"You know the words!" Marinette sighed before smiling, she will be happy again, far away from those people who had hurt her

"Tikki, spots on!"

She quickly jumped off, swinging to every building until she arrived at the massage parlor. She needs some place to stay, maybe Master Fu will understand why she did this. He was a wise person after all

The girl knocked on the door several times, hoping that the guardian was still awake. She really needed someone by her side, especially after being betrayed several times. She knocked another several times, the guardian opened the door

Fu was definitely surprised to see Marinette as Ladybug, on his front door, giving him a broken smile as she drops her bag beside her. The Guardian was about to leave with his kwami, planning to see Marinette to talk about....the events in the past until she showed up on his front door

'Well this is gonna be easy' he thought to himself as he invited her inside

He sat down on his mat as the bluenette sat in the other, "Master Fu, I'm sorry for interupting you at this hour, i just....don't know where else to go" the girl said

He could see the tears threatening to come out. He nodded, he actually didn't know what happened to the girl but he didn't want to waste more time than he already had

"Marinette, I'm sorry for doing this but i gave you too many chances in the past" he said, face not giving off any emotions

"W-what do you m-mean, Master?" Marinette tried to stay calm, but she can't. Not when Master Fu was giving her the scolding tone, that means she must had done something wrong

A sigh escaped his mouth, "Give me your miraculous, it's too risky for you to be Ladybug considering your mental states. The Ladybug miraculous was the key to save Paris and i simply can't risk, Paris needs a Ladybug, a hero to save them all from Hawkmoth" a moment of silence before he continued, "You were a great Ladybug, Marinette....but it's better for another one to rise up"

Shock and anxiety started to pile up inside her crazy, she was having trouble on breathing. 'Calm down, calm down, Master Fu must had a good reason to do this'. She closed her eyes and focused on her emotions. Anger, sadness, confusion, hurt....she let go of her emotions, letting herself felt numb

Marinette looked at the guardian, studying his movements. He was clearly nervous and upset, but behind those feelings were confidence. As if he knew what he was doin- no Marinette, he's the guardian, he knew what he was doing. Yet she can't help but feel more doubt rising in her chest

"I'm sorry, Master. But there must have been a huge misunderstanding, did i do something to upset you?" Marinette asked the guardian, going through every mistakes she made during akuma attacks. But none of it was fatal, she managed to fix everything back to normal

Another sigh came out, "there's no misunderstanding, you were no longer worthy of the Ladybug miraculous. The balance between the Ladybug and the Cat miraculous were broken and it's best to fix it"

His glare struck into her heart, her body started shaking in fear and anger, "Why?" She whispered out

"What do you mean why? The balance was ruined because of you, Marinette. If you hadn't been so selfish, this would never happen"

Tears streamed down slowly down her face, Marinette had never felt so betrayed and hurt in her life. This was no misunderstanding, it's Master Fu being his past idiotic self. But does it had to be her? Why? Why not Chat Noir? Can't the guardian see that their dynamic was ruined because of him? Was her consent and feelings not important anymore?

Meanwhile, the kwamis watched the scene from the corner of the room. They didn't agree with the guardian's opinion, honestly if they were brave enough to say it, his opinion and reasons were stupid. Wayzz, the Turtle kwami, could only reassure Tikki that it was fine and things will go back to normal

He hated to lie about it but what else was he supposed to say? The Ladybug kwami loved her holder, she had supported the girl when no one else was. Now the guardian ordered her to return the miraculous, Tikki was very upset. It felt like she lost a best friend but also a daughter, she can't afford to lost her holder, especially at times like this

Marinette shook her head, if he didn't think she was worthy then maybe she wasn't. She looked at her kwami and gave a warm smile, the first real smile she gave the kwami after months of pain. She won't be able to see Tikki again but at least the kwami had supported her through hard times, especially when her friends and parents hadn't

She took off the earrings one by one as her kwami watched her in horror. The girl pulled the earring to her chest, hugging it for the last time before giving it back to the guardian. Marinette stood up, took her stuff and left before the guardian could say a word

She didn't know where else to go, she was alone. No more Master Fu, no more Tikki, no more being Ladybug. The girl who used to be a loved hero was now the homeless girl who was hated by everyone

Totally not thinking about an AU where Marinette grabs Gina’s motorbike rather than her own bike, leading to Roger arresting her for underage driving or riding without a licence. Also speeding. He’s thorough with the charges.

For sure not imagining her pleading with Roger as destruction happens in the background

And there is no way I’m imagining her detained when she resisted arrest, hearing how Hawkmoth won, slowly being crushed by guilt because if she chose another mode of transport she could have helped.

MDC. That was all anyone could talk about was this mysterious MDC, and it all started from one interview.

“Jagged Stone, could you tell us who you are wearing tonight to this 25th music award ceremony” the interview asked the well know rock star.

“Well I don’t know if they want their identity out yet, so I won’t say as they wouldn’t be very rock and roll of me. However I can give you their initials. My designer is MDC and they are amazing!” Jagged said before he began singing more praises about the mystery designer.

After that it seems the mysterious MDC quickly became the go to celebrity designer. Everyone who was anyone wanted a piece of clothing design by MDC. Their clothing was label a good luck charm as often good things would happen when they wore said clothing.

However no one every reveal their identity.

Anyone who commissioned a piece from MDC eventually meets them so its a more personal piece. However the media wasn’t getting away with finding out this mysterious designers identity. All they got was praises.

‘I’ve never seem someone who had such a eye for color!’

‘I have the hardest time finding clothes and designer because of my allergy to Cotten. However MDC was great, so willing to help me’

‘They will take over the fashion world’

‘If I could hired them to be my full time designer I would. Hell I think every celebrity could say the same thing’

Marinette heard the praises of this mysterious MDC again and again to the point she had just toned it out. Why? You figure an upcoming designer would want to have an foot up on her competition. But here’s the thing.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng is MDC.

She was the famous and amazing designer that everyone was talking about. Bless jagged and the other celebrity for being so understanding about why she was keeping it a secret. She was dealing with a lot of crap from school, then add in the sabotage from classmates; she felt their was a target on her back and she wasn't comfortable making it bigger just yet.

Until tonight.

It seems many high brand fashion from all over the world were planning to come to this award show. They had all made it pretty clear that they were trying to get MDC to be their next head designer, will to do whatever it takes to get the mysterious designer on board. Marinette has her eyes on the company ‘Lucky Bug’ as the owner was a lot like her and she seem just really excited to see the upcoming talent.

So despite being in the classroom she want really listening, she was trying to mental prepare herself for the show tonight.

“Of course I know MDC” Lila said to the class as they flocked around her like sheep. Marinette rolled her eyes and turn away, not bothering to even look in the liars direction.

“He’s amazing and have asked me for advice on numerous occasions. He so in love with me, he’s asked me out so many times however I’ve had to turn him down; it wouldn’t feel right with all the traveling” Lila said and she had seemed to gain Adrien attention.

“Seriously you know him? My father been trying to get in contact with him, could set something up?” Adrien asked as the other students nodded in agreement.

“Sure, just don’t bother going to the awards show. I know they say he’s going to be there but he had such bad anxiety with crowds he could never go through with it. I’ll get you an appointment tomorrow” Lila said with a smile continuing the story of how she met the mysterious designer. People typing stuff down, Alya making a blog post.

Oh she could wait till tomorrow.

It was true she was nervous at the awards ceremony, however Jagged or one of her clients was always with her easing her discomfort. The she remembers the camera being shoved into jagged face.

“Hello everyone! This is designer I’ve been telling you about Miss, MDC also know as Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the most rock n rolled designer out there” Jagged said to a camera with a smile. Other clients began singing her praise as the fashion CEO’s got closer to her, to get a better look at this young design.

Finally the interviewer started to ask her questions.

“You seemed very young for a designer, could we ask your age?” They asked.

“It’s very rude to ask someone their age ya know. But sense you asked so nicely I’ll answer. I’m 14 years old” Marinette said as she joked with the interview.

“14 years old?! That’s amazing. You’ve accomplish what most designer couldn’t do in a lifetime so young. Why did you stay hidden for so long” the interviewer asked.

“While my life in design and commissions are going well, my personal life isn’t so luck. Their have been numerous people who have actively tried to sabotage my stuff. Even today at school their was one girl who tells lies about me and has actively tried to steal my design book. I wasn’t going to risk them knowing and possibly ruin one of my clients pieces” Marinette explain with more sadness in her eyes, everything she has said was true, however it was the first time she had to admit it outloud. Jagged definitely wasn’t happy hearing this.

“Who’s been bully my favorite niece? Why didn’t you tell me?” Jagged ask with a mix of anger and sorrow.

“I didn’t want you to worry, it wasn’t a big deal” Marinette said almost forgetting that the interviewer and CEOs were there.

“It does sound like a big deal if they were effect your ability to work. But that does being up the question, why reveal you identity now?” The interviewer asked, and Marinette just smile.

“I’m revealing it now because I have a list of clients who I have helped out and swear by my clothing. I have already build up my name and reputation; I don’t have to worry about some one trying to sabotage it before it can be built” Marinette answer truthfully with a smile.

“If you come work for us, we can get you a full time body guard” a CEO of an America company yelled out.

“No! Come work for us. We will pay for all your school and education you need! Along with whatever benefits you want!” Another CEO yelled.

It seemed company after company yelled offers for jobs to the 14 year old. Marinette didn’t know what to do but thankfully Jagged came to the rescue.

“Hey hey! You’re scaring the little lady. Write down all your information and your offers; I’ll make sure penny gives it directly to Marinette” Jagged said making the sea of voice died down.

With the night coming to a close one thought rang in Marinette mind.

‘I wonder what school will be like tomorrow?’

Im in sophomore year and would eat bunch of candies (opening the wraper is annoying, the plastic makes loud noises when you rip it), while bunch of kids, 2 rows from the back of the class. Literally eat a whole packet of main food everyday! The teacher didn't even notice wth, the chicken smell is so strong!

when I was in high school my AP english teacher told us we weren’t allowed to eat in class so I took that as a personal challenge to see what the most ridiculous thing I could eat in class without getting caught was so I started bringing soup to class and as soon as I’d crack the lid of my thermos the tiniest bit this football player that sat like 3 rows in front of me would going “I SMELL MEAT SOMEONE HAS SOUP” and no one ever believed him

Anyone else want an AU of Adrien stanning the heck out of Marinette?

Like imagine it, he already thinks she’s amazing and incredible–imagine if he was more vocal with his status as a Marinette stan

When people are talking about her, he just jumps in the convo and starts gushing about how great she is

He does the shoulder touch with her a lot, and will sometimes maneuver her in front of him to show her off when he’s gushing about her as if to say “Look at this precious bean!”

Marinette is an absolute princess in his eyes and he’s convinced he will never approve of the dude she’ll end up marrying because they just wont be as good enough for her. (Jokes on him)

When he learns Lila is threatening her, he completely ditches his pacifism and decides to go scotched earth with her because Marinette is a queen and he will not stand for the disrespect against her

During Akuma attacks, his first instinct is to protect the princess.

Plagg’s pretty sure it’s become ingrained into his muscle memory by this point.

Every time Marinette smiles, he wants to squeal because SHE’S SO PRECIOUS–

Adrien wants to protect the smile at all costs

Luka ends up joining him in stanning Marinette so now Marinette’s getting constant compliments from both of them and her poor heart can’t take it

Adrien thinks Luka is as close as he’s gonna get to being perfect for Marinette but a voice in his head argues he is also almost perfect enough for Marinette and then suffers an inner debate on who is almost almost perfect for Marinette (because no one is good enough dammit)

Anyone who bullies Marinette has to deal with the Luka and Adrien squad. They take no prisoners. When Luka finds out about Lila, he makes sure to make her feel small.

Both think no one is good enough for Marinette and all suitors must go through them to get to the princess

Sometimes Chat pays them a visit and makes a show of sharpening his claws as he gives his usual speech about how Marinette is pure and deserves nothing but the best. The suitors promptly stop pursuing her because Chat Noir will kill them.

Then When Luka gets the Snake Miraculous, he joins him

Marinette sheds one tear and immediately they’re there with hugs and tissues and comforting words

She gets injured in anyway they fuss over her like she’s gonna die if she doesn’t get taken care of by them.

Alya’s pretty sure Marinette has two boyfriends (or four if you count Venom and Chat…)
