Melodic Death/Doom Metal from Nancy, France

Lying Figures is a Melodic Death/Doom Metal band formed in 2012 in Nancy (France). Brutal yet melodic, heavy and oppressive, their music is inspired by tortured arts coming from music as well as cinematography or literature. The band invites the listener to delve into an universe where madness and melancholy are dancing together. "Inheritance" is the second full length from the band and is resulting from 6 years of introspectives and personal thoughts. The explored themes are more complex and more intimate. The questionings and observations are deeper and blended with a darkness we don't know how to avoid. The same darkness that has been leading us all this time. A richer album, more complex, heavier and more intense than the previous one.

for reference, i used the phrase "furry hypnosis fetish art"

around this time last year, there was an image being passed around of two generic anthro characters in a grocery store

one was wearing a shirt that said something like "proud american" and the other was wearing some walmart employee getup

the employee was holding what looked like a handheld thermometer (used to check for fevers/possible covid cases, if you remember) that actually said something like "bill gates mind control ray" on it

and the "proud american" was being hypnotized, he had the classic swirly-eyes effect

the big question is if this was non-fetish anti-vaxx art, a shitpost, or just fetish art, and i don't think we ever got a real answer to that question

and i'm sure as hell not going to find the original to check
