i think that walter saw her as a threat (or an obsticle, or a loose end) and didn't like that there was someone, a woman even, who could have power over him in the business. that, and he wanted to get back at everyone who "wronged" him before he died (he even planned on killin jesse before impulsively deciding to save him in jack's clubhouse... unhinged!)

that said, i agree that it was super last minute BUT as a believer of Lydia Survival, i choose to believe she calls an ambulance the moment walt hangs up. seeing as he tells her exactly how and when he poisoned her, i imagine that'd ironically give her a headstart in treatment and increase her odds. real-life ricin ingestion doesn't kill immediately, so with medical treatment it seems plausible! and who's to say she doesn't make it out of intensive care after a long recovery period, flee the country or state, and go into hiding? <3 this is how a girlboss can still live

Okay~ these are two ideas on the idea of Lydia getting back to her own time buuuut....

1. She doesn't regain her memories back so all the friends she made are nothing but strangers to her and she slowly drifts away from them, leaving them heartbroken (I know there's a movie or two based off this idea~)

2. She DOES regain her memories back and returns home but it's been a few years and Leon's moved on and Lydia goes to go find him, motivated to confess (she spent who know how long in a different place, with the feeling of she felt like she forgot someone important) but she sees him with someone else on a romantic date and it completely shatters her heart 💔

My flat is set to only trigger the heating if it falls below 20 degrees C (in the set hours) but often my flat falls below that to 18/19 during the day!! But I have plenty of blankets ready for your arrival💛
