Ufotable is killing me with the low key/not so low key Sormik blows. Like. With shiritori. The first thing Sorey says is “Luzrov Rulay.” Slammed my computer screen down and said “Damn Ufotable. Just. Thank you.”

hi! i usually make a raw amv in imovie and then put it in ae cs5 but the frame rate or something changes bc the timing is always off? is there any way to fix this?

Make sure that the properties of the footage are the same as the properties in the composition settings. This is usually the issue.

Had an absolute blast today at Fanime! As you can see, I might have done a little shopping at the dealer’s hall. XD

I caught the second half of the Satomi Sato panel and into the Ryoutaro Okiayu panel, which had me in full “Omg omg meeting amazing people who help bring these amazing characters to life!” spazz mode. Sato’s panel was super cute as she got asked if she ever says any of her characters’ catchphrases when and she did say “Maginpui!” as one she says sometimes. Also the raffle for the “Meet the Guest” tickets were to have the audience play janken against the guest and the entire time Sato was doing it, it was all in her Magilou voice so even if I didn’t win, being able to hear her irl is just … *dies* And Okiayu’s panel was just … a little part of me died when he said he looked up to Midorikawa to encourage himself to keep working hard and succeed. Both panels were just really nice and small and I’m just … so omg about it still. Just so happy to get the chance to see some of these amazing voice actors behind the voices of these amazing characters … this is definitely one of my highlights for this year!

Also had an amazing time at the Tales of Cosplay gathering in the early evening, and had the pleasure of seeing @swagmasterlowell, @orchids-skyflame, @cow-onna-cloud, @assbele, @chimelon, @lovelybeam, @strawberry-healer , @luzrovrulays , and @jubesketch! Thanks for letting me hang out with you guys, it was amazing! And one of the best parts? When they called for all the canon ships, literally everyone started calling for the Soreys and Mikleos to go back and join in when they all started stepping away after the previous group photo. It was honestly really beautiful to see and no one even argued against it.

Between getting to sit in Sato’s and Okiayu’s panels and meeting all these wonderful Tumblr people, this is so totally one of the best FanimeCons I’ve been to! =D

Yes! They are a thing here at Fanime! This year’s is super awesome - we had Destiny, Symphonia, Vesperia, Xillia (both games!), Zestiria, and Berseria present! I love how friendly everyone was, with all the awesome costumes and props, and of course, cross-game shenanigans! There was a Rokurou this year, so we had a really funny moment where Rokurou just got to be all excited and fanboy over all the swords that everyone had as part of their cosplay! And because it’s Tales, there were lots of them! We even got a few characters I’ve never seen cosplayed, like Mithos Yggdrasil (I didn’t get the cosplayer’s name for credit, but there was some fabulous sequins used for the suit!), and Symonne ( @cow-onna-cloud), Muse ( @strawberry-healer), Michael ( @assbele), Selene ( @luzrovrulays), Tainted Epileo ( @orchids-skyflame) and Tainted Sorey ( @jubesketch)! I was super happy to see the Camlann crew get some love, even if all they get is 5 minutes of story time! Seriously, you guys are awesome for doing those cosplays, and I think we all know my opinion of tainted au at this point. XD

I wish I could go to SacAnime, but getting time off from work is difficult, so I usually limit myself to 1-2 cons a year. Fanime is a given every year since it’s so close to me; it’s about an hour and a half away from home so it’s a nice distance for a long weekend trip! Plus I have some very lovely mutuals who I’ve had the joy of meeting there two years in a row and I just wouldn’t miss it for anything!
