Hello! I came across your old Zoids bumper sticker designs and I was curious if there was a way for me to order one from you since you're the artist. I noticed you have an Etsy shop and I would happily pay extra for a custom decal, but if that isn't something you're able to do that's also okay. Since you were the one who designed them, I figured I'd see if there was a way I could support the artist before just running off and making my own. 🐌

It's soooo funny this ask landed in my inbox when it did, because I may or may not have a second run of bumper stickers in production… shifty eyes

Enough people have come forward in the last few years wanting to know if I would ever re-run them that I think I can justify producing a few more at this time. My problem has always been equal parts funding and… surprisingly… how "meh" I feel about most of the designs these days. The Fury design (below) is the original and still happens to be the only one I still really like, so that's the design that's getting re-run. Something about the others haven't aged well to me and I feel compelled to redo them before/if I ever sold them again.

The stickers probably won't be listed in time for the holiday season, but should be up before the end of the year. Of course, you're also welcome to reach out to me directly for something custom, but I will caution you that [1] I'm not willing to create any new graphics from scratch at this time (so if you're looking for a bumper sticker with a specific Zoid, I'm only able to pick from the ones I've already vectored) and [2] the price will likely be a bit steep for a single sticker - producing individually is just always more costly than making them in bulk.

legit when the trailer started playing I screamed, which I rarely do, and I was just ecstatic at the thought that it was FINALLY coming to the Switch. But then the trailer kept going and i just... lost my entire mind. I was babbling incoherently Courage the Cowardly Dog-style.

I've been waiting for something like this for YEARS AND YEARS AND YEARS.

Super Mario RPG just... did something to me as a kid. I played it when I was 7--my mom checked it out for me at Entertainment Tonight (remember when video rental stores existed?) and the worker there said that I was too young to play it. My mom checked it out anyway, and in the week I had it, I proceeded to beat the entire game. I fought Smithy while cowering behind the chair in our living room, but I did it, and my mom proudly said so to the worker when she returned the game. I then proceeded to check the game out repeatedly until my mom finally bought it for me for my 8th birthday, and my family has a video of me losing my entire mind upon opening the game, screaming "SUPER MARIO RPG! SUPER MARIO RPG!" as I jumped up and down and held the cartridge over my head.

Seeing that trailer was like reliving that moment on my 8th birthday.

But it was more than just enjoying playing the game... I had been telling stories and writing and drawing before playing it, and I'd even been introduced to the concept of fanfiction at the time thanks to janky old 90s fansites. But I started writing SMRPG fanfiction and drawing SMRPG fanart, and I still have folders full of it--stuff I wrote as a small child. Like, sure, I might have started writing and drawing without the game, but this was the first thing that made me really get into writing and drawing in earnest.

Gosh I'm sorry for rambling here but I want to at least try to convey how much this game means to me.

SMRPG is my favorite game and I cannot wait for the remake.
