This beautiful & sweet portrait of Lux arrived yesterday - commissioned by my amazing friend @theallisonburnscooper & painted by @caritay. THANK YOU ❤️. I am lucky to have the friends, Emily, & support that I have because the pain & emotions that come w/grief & mourning are no joke! I have sobbed my way through this terrible week & every time I feel relatively normal I’m hit w/a tidal wave of sadness again. I know it will be a process & know I will get through it but it’s tough. I am completely gutted, devastated, and shocked beyond my capacity to describe with words. My sweet, loving, beautiful, baby boy passed away VERY unexpectedly on Sat night. In an instant my life has changed forever. A huge part of me died with Lux & honestly I will never completely recover from this. @luxtheterrier was pure love & the absolute best part of my life.
