Working on a dog for my last subject with UC Berkeley’s @berkeley_olli Animals in Mixed Media class. I am using Lux Archival sanded paper which is extra gritty but smooth at the same time. I’m trying to decide if the gritty effect bothers me enough to try to blend it down with Gamsol which this late in the game could end of losing some of the details. Gamsol should be used more at the early stages to help fill in the tooth of the paper but I was having too much fun adding in the fur strokes!
