enjoy the vibes! i mostly chose this challenge because I wanted to listen to songs like ddr songs which I haven't really found in america, and since ddr chose a lot of foreign songs mostly from eurasia, i picked those countries first, but since im really intrested in the 2000s all over the globe it would be fun to listen to everything even if it isnt like ddr anyways SLAYYYYY

North America

choices :

Dominican Republic ; ive really been intrested in the dr lately so this is obvi lol but also i remember seeing that there were pop songs from there? i was really worried with north america with this challenge since it has relatively few countries compared to others, and since the carribean is third world there would be less recorded options, but hopefully this isn't the case lol

Jamaica ; also intrested in jamaica, and since jamaican music is really popular and important to global music they would be more likely to be recorded

Canada ; ok so if both are a flop then Canada, ms gworl produced a noteworthy amount of pop and pop punk artists during y2k so i know that there would be SOMETHING like ofc Avril. if i do have 2 pick it i hope that i can find off the radar female artists like back of a degrassi or flop 2000s movie filmed in toronto artist

choices (this was rlly hard GURLLLLLLL also fuck paraguay i didnt even know yall had internet access)

brazil ; ok so i picked brazil bc i knew that besides columbia it was the option that would probably have the most recorded music since its one of the biggest cuntries in south america, thats basically it lol this might be a flop but im praying also hoping 4 afrolatina JINSOUL LATINA also festivale music

Venezuela ; gurl i didnt even KNOW venezuela did liek anything movies tv music wise bc i thought it was like a wasteland of modern art SORRY THAT SOUNDS SO RUDE BUT I DIDNT KNOW THEY COULD LIEK DO THAT LIKE I THOGUHT AT MOST THEYD IMPORT SHIT but on imdb i saw they made telenovelas so im curious so even if brazil comes up with stuff which i think it will i still wanna see venezuela like im curious mamas lets research

argentina ; this was between argentina chile or columbia but i chose argentina bc its pretty big and i think luisa is argentinian and i think she mentioned a rebelde series being released there soooooo yeah im curious

3. Africa

Nigeria ; for a while i've been intrested in nigeria in the 2000s like nollywood and stuff so i hope i can find music online, Africa is one of the hardest continents for me to research bc so much i think wont be online or there wont be pop music but #trust

egypt ; i rlly didnt want 2 do egypt because sources might be rlly muddied but oh well girl also i wanted like niche curly headed arab girl i thot was a twink y2kunt vibes but i need to like not focus on vibes too much like vibes r ruining my life gurl

angola ; gurl idk what angola is i just wanted a southern african country i miight not even pick it tho like ACTUALLY i will tho idk

Romania LITHUANIA or Finland (flip a coin) ; for romania its like the ran dan weaboo in eastern europe white woman in dreads winx club venezuelan dollar store music vibe and for finland it was VIBESSSSSSSSSS might be too similar to sweden tho so idk (ok so like since idrk bout Romania for this like not in like general but for this specific thing journey idk girl I picked Lithuania! even if theres nothing itll still be fun 2 look! also i remember there being something else I wanted to see but I can't for the life of me remember and im not even that bothered like I am Europe-d OUt rn)

kahzakstan? + Taiwan ; there genuinely might be like NOTHING but i hope there is like it seems fun! I've had Taiwan down for literally so long i should've added it a LONG time ago! anyways not too many thots but since im still really not sure is Kahzakstan will have anything I think Taiwan is more likely to be fruitful

malaysia + Indonesia ; ok there might also be nothing butttttt i hope so lol girl idk if theres nothing ill add bangladesh - ok since I think I meant Indonesia in the first place and that I want to learn some Indonesian im adding it - also not sure if Bangladesh willl have anything but if it does SLAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Australia ; ok so i worried about like idk what to do girl likkkeeeeee theres not a lot of options and i dont want to pick obvious aussie land but girl idgaf anymore!!!!!!!!!! im super intrested in 2000s australia and im tired of niche y2k shit like i love the decade so much and i want 2 explore as much of it as i can anyways i think the veronicas are aussie and another one but thats rlly all i have so im curious also rose naurrrrr cleaurrrrrr

new zealand (maybe) ; idk how to feel about this bc i might not find much but i dont think ill even limit it 2 y2k songs like im just curious

guam, samoa ; since the countries in oceania besides aussie and kiwi are so small i dont think ill find much but i also dont think ill limit it to 2000s also i wanna ask around for music recs like im so intrested in oceania like slayyyyyyyyyyy
