Something silly but imagine Lupgang along with Zenigata and Yata teaming up to take down another larger threat. And it's during this that Lupin and Jigen are discussing some plans when Lupin hears Fujiko let a playful "Oh my Inspector! Feeling bold today?" Making him look up to see what's going on and it's then he sees Zenigata. Without his trench coat and signature hat. Not a big deal right?

Wrong.

Cuz underneath the trench coat and hat, Zenigata's actual frame is seen more clearly. And it's at this moment Lupin realizes why Fujiko playfully said what she said cuz good lord the Inspector is built. I'm talking muscles, not a ridiculous amount, but enough to make Lupin go "Well fuck he's jacked-" afterwards Lupin just keeps staring at him. Unable to really look away long cuz omg Pops is kinda hot without his coat and hat covering everything and suddenly he's thinking about Zenigata and his brute strength and he looks at his frame and his biceps and forearms and chest and Lupin's down. Like down bad.

Immediately Jigen notices this and does what a good friend does. He teases Lupin mercilessly. Fujiko and Goemon notice and start their own brand of taking the piss out of Lupin. Making the thief both proud and absolutely annoyed. Meanwhile Zenigata and Yata are completely out of the loop. Lupin for the rest of the adventure knows no peace.

I like this moment in Alcatraz Connection. After so...many...times of Lupin pretending to be dead, Zenigata just does not buy it. And I don't mean not buying it with so much emotion and determination like in Mystery of Mamo. I mean with the sort of tiredness of a owner dealing with a naughty dog or cat over and over again.
