when i go to the gym i just set the incline up high on the treadmill and walk at like 3.5 mph for an hour because i Cant run/jog because my lungs are made of tissue paper. anyway i only go once a week and i still got tendonitis in my foot from too much uphill walking. wish i had health insurance so i could finally figure out why my entire body is so weak and apparently allergic to all forms of mild exercise 😑
#im pretty sure i have exercise induced asthma because even as a kid if i had to like run down the street to catch the bus itd take me#over an hour to catch my breath. or during the mile run or pacer in gym class id always get yelled at for not being able to keep up but#after 30 seconds ofjogging my lungs BURN

I love (sarcasm) how my lungs feel like they're full of cotton after I go up stairs, or walk too much, or just exist. I love (still sarcasm) that the only functional inhaler available to me isn't compatible with my airchamber.
#like my symbicort doesnt really fit with my air chamber so i have to take it directly which means i get less in my lungs.#and like i keep my inhalers in my bag which is upstairs so i HAVE to go upstairs if i want to take it and ugh ._.#sometimes i feel perfectly fine and then suddenly for reasons unknown to me i just cant breathe.#its been happening more often but its not like a regular occurrence or anything yet#like its not from any activity or allergy that im aware of. it just happens.#i know that exercise triggers asthma attacks for me. so does laughing too hard and allergies.#but like idk whats causing the sudden changes. its so frustrating.#ive had breathing problems my whole life so like its whatever but im gonna complain today. i deserve to complain.#batty blogging#text

Causes great back pain, I'd presume. Human spines are bad enough due to being reoriented for the vertical. Having a 90° turn and another whole length of spine is bound to cause even more issues.
Guys do centaurs have to eat both horse food and human food?
#I'd think there would have to be two digestive systems#Not convinced that grass and some grains would be enough to power a human brain (~25% of our energy budget IIRC)#Maybe it could work if the horse system was swapped out for a much larger human-style digestive system?#And they just ate a lot of human food?#But while it would be much bigger than a normal human system#It wouldn't be as big as a horse's#Don't need room for hindgut fermentation#So you'd have this extra space…#I think you'd end up with the horse's body looking more like racing dog#Also while having horse lungs would be necessary#I think the human wind pipe and mouth/nose would just not be big enough#Maybe for standing around or walking slowly#But not for any kind of exercise#And especially not running hard#Dunno how you fix that#Also#Gestation and birth would be insane#That 90 degree bend is just not going to work#Dunno how to fix that either#The breathing thing maybe you could fix or at least help by giving them avian-style unidirectional breathing#Also the developmental mismatch between human and horse at birth would be an issue#Colt body ready to stand up and run in a few hours#Vs human infant body that can't do shit for months#Maybe just start with a horse head and it magically morphs and grows out a more developed human child torso and head after a while?#IDK#It's a mess

Air pollution:- How to care of your health due ton increasing air pollution in Delhi NCR;-
The deteriorating air quality in Delhi-NCR is a growing concern for millions of residents. Prolonged exposure to high levels of pollution can lead to respiratory issues, cardiovascular problems, weakened immunity, and even long-term chronic diseases. While addressing the root causes of air pollution is crucial, individuals must take proactive steps to protect their health. Here are practical tips to safeguard yourself from the harmful effects of air pollution.
1. Monitor Air Quality Regularly
Before stepping outside, check the Air Quality Index (AQI) using apps or government portals.
Action Tip: Limit outdoor activities when the AQI is “Very Poor” or “Severe.”
Tech Tools: Use apps like AirVisual or SAFAR to stay updated on pollution levels.
2. Use Masks and Respirators
Wearing a high-quality mask can significantly reduce your exposure to harmful particles.
Recommended Masks: Invest in N95 or N99 masks that filter out fine particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10).
THIS IS RIGHT TECHNIC TO WEARING MASK
Proper Usage: Ensure the mask fits snugly around your nose and mouth without gaps.
3. Limit Outdoor Activities
Avoid spending time outdoors, especially during peak pollution hours (early mornings and late evenings).
Alternatives: Opt for indoor exercises or home workouts instead of jogging or cycling outside.
Critical Days: Stay indoors when AQI levels are at their worst, often after Diwali or during stubble-burning seasons.
4. Purify Your Indoor Air
Indoor air is not immune to pollution, but you can take steps to improve it.
Air Purifiers: Use HEPA-filter air purifiers for your home or office to remove harmful pollutants.
Green Plants: Add indoor plants like Areca Palm, Spider Plant, or Peace Lily to help improve air quality.
Ventilation: Avoid opening windows during high pollution hours; use exhaust fans to circulate air instead.
5. Stay Hydrated and Maintain a Healthy Diet
A well-balanced diet and hydration can boost your body’s natural defenses against pollutants.
Antioxidant-Rich Foods: Include fruits like oranges, guavas, and berries, and vegetables like spinach and broccoli to combat oxidative stress.
Healthy Fats: Incorporate foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, such as walnuts and flaxseeds, to reduce inflammation.
Hydration: Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins. Herbal teas with tulsi or ginger can also soothe respiratory systems.
6. Practice Breathing Exercises
Strengthening your lungs is essential for combating the effects of polluted air.
Pranayama: Practice deep breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom or Kapalbhati in a clean indoor environment.
Avoid Outdoors: Never practice deep breathing exercises outdoors when air quality is poor, as it can increase pollutant intake.
7. Avoid Smoking and Pollutants Indoors
Additional pollutants indoors can exacerbate health issues caused by external air pollution.
No Smoking: Avoid smoking indoors or in poorly ventilated spaces.
Limit Incense and Candles: These can release fine particles and chemicals that worsen indoor air quality.
8. Boost Immunity with Supplements
If you’re prone to allergies or respiratory problems, consider immunity-boosting supplements.
Vitamin C: Helps reduce the harmful effects of air pollution on your lungs.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids: May lower inflammation caused by pollutants.
Consult a Doctor: Before taking supplements, consult a healthcare professional for proper guidance.
9. Seek Medical Attention When Needed
If you experience persistent symptoms like coughing, wheezing, or breathlessness, consult a doctor immediately.
Common Symptoms to Watch For: Irritated eyes, sore throat, or chest tightness.
Prevention is Key: Regular health check-ups can help identify any early signs of pollution-related illnesses.
10. Advocate for Cleaner Air
While individual actions are important, collective efforts can bring about systemic change.
Community Action: Participate in local clean air campaigns or tree-planting drives.
Reduce Your Carbon Footprint: Use public transport, carpool, or cycle whenever possible to contribute to reducing overall emissions.
Conclusion
The increasing air pollution in Delhi-NCR requires everyone to be vigilant about their health and lifestyle. By taking small but consistent steps, such as using masks, monitoring AQI, and maintaining a healthy diet, you can protect yourself and your family from the harmful effects of poor air quality. While individual actions are vital, it is equally important to advocate for policy changes and sustainable solutions that address the root causes of air pollution. Together, we can work toward a future where clean air is not a luxury but a basic right for all.

Its super funny how my arms have gotten noticably stronger but are still hilariously weak a lot of the time.
For example, I'm pretty much incapable of doing a pull up. I'd give other examples, but that's easily the biggest one, everything else pales in comparison.
#Admittedly the whole reason for that is that I actually don't work out.#All of my exercise is just me fucking around. Most of the reason I have good legs is genetics.#it's easy to tell that I dont actually exercise my legs when you learn how easily my breath fails me when I run for any real amount of time#All of my stamina is in my legs. If I get out of breath I'm no longer capable of running without putting my torso in pain.#I was in my school's cross country for a year. I backed out due to the schedule probably wise given how overwhelming shit in school got.#My heart and lungs did become able to keep up with my legs during that. Somewhat at least. My main hindrance was still those tho.#I've been told I was good and I probably was for an 8th grader lol. I just wanted to focus on school and not school.#My flexibility is similarly maintained but I actually had to get to that. It's just easy to maintain and slowly build by just fucking aroun#I can do a funny ragdoll for example. The one where you drop to your knees and your torso flails around a little.#Normally put my back to the floor as well though
