my friend included me on the acknowledgments slide of her masters thesis defense which was so nice but i’m also really happy for/proud of her in general

discount easter candy was still a thing when i went to target yesterday so i got some reeses cups

when it rains lately, it’s had that spring rain smell and actually been warm. instead of freezing rain that makes everything feel dead it’s like fresh new beginnings 

i got an email from the english department inviting me to our end of year party and in it they said i’ll be getting an award!

when i’m sitting and my dog just comes up and sits on my feet cause he wants to be close to me
