The internal debate between "I wanna meet canonmates :(" and "ew now fuck those guys"

I know there's plenty of kins who are great friends with people their kintype hated (is that the right wording...?) but HO BOY am I not sure I could actually handle it. Probably would be fine with sourcemates, but canonmates? Probably not. Especially not without some Bloodshed.

Xiaoven shippers are...Eheh. How do I put this?

I'm not a Venti or Xiao kin, so, I am speaking from a perspective of someone who isn't directly directly affect by this, but I still feel. Odd, about them.

I'm pretty indifferent to the ships in general, but absolutely hate when shippers act like stuff is canon to the game. Even when it was canon in my kin's canon! Stop saying stuff like that guys!!

My Venti and Xiao, while they knew of each other before I came to Tevyat, weren't exactly close. And never dated. My Xiao had queerplaontic relationship with Heizou, and I'm fairly sure was aro from trauma. (I can't remember the exact term)

I've also seen some shippers acting like "why would Venti save him if he WASN'T in love??"

Dude. Venti is like...A decent wind spirit? Who saw someone he could save from corruption?? And so did it because that's what people do for each other???

Otherwise, my canon's Xiao and Venti only really became proper friends through me being a middle man. And even then never became super close. Friends, not not close friends. Certainly not enough to justify dating (even if Xiao wasn't aro)
