Mario And Luigi Are Using Star Magic? And Do Stars Have Their Own Language?
So recently we have gotten a Nintendo Direct and in this direct a new game in the Mario & Luigi series has been announced. This game is called Mario & Luigi: Brothership, and there is something interesting I've noticed about this trailer.
So recently if you've been paying attention to my most recent posts I've been speculating on the nature of Magikoopa magic, and connecting it to Star/Wish Magic. Well in this trailer something happens to Mario and Luigi's gloves, what that thing is you isn't certain because the game did just get announced. What I can point out is it is magic in origin, the same kind as Magikoopa magic. This is because it uses the exact same symbols as seen in Magikoopa magic.
Now for the second part in this post. So I occasionally watch some videos that show up to see how well people do on Mario lore as I work on stuff, and I will at times give my input since a lot of people do get the lore wrong. When I was doing this I glanced at the scene and saw something from the opening scene of Super Mario Galaxy 2. The Luma was see in this game seems to speak in a language that is not discernable to Mario. The text for it uses the symbols that can be found on the Hexoskeleton, something I brought up in a previous post when I was speculating about Star Magic. This could confirm a connection between the 2, and that these symbols aren't just Star Magic but the language of the Stars.

my goofy thought that all Power Stars are sentient though unable to communicate in a way most organic beings can understand, and that peach's castle's stars really love mario
#super mario bros#mario#princess peach#doodle#they already liked him for being the good soul he is. but after sm64 eventd they love him for his dedication and for saving them#two of the illustrated stars really want him to go to the secret slide and race against them#could mario ignore them? yes but that's mean so he humors them as much as possible#peach thinks he's really cute for that hehehe#and this is why mario gets along so well with lumas to me. he's already used to playful sentient stars#the one difference is that lumas can actually talk in his language unlike power stars

A very mild criticism but sometimes your wording can be a little awkward. My suggestion would be reading your writing aloud to try and give your wording a more natural flow.
I'm taking this to heart and I will ask for even more feedback before posting things 🙂↕️
I apologize for this and I'll try my best to make it better!

A Canticle For Shallows-Folk
(Not-so) Short Stories From The Author: This year, I have been so busy with other Faire projects that this, nearly 2 weeks into the Faire, is my first blog entry for this Fantasy Faire. I feel pretty bad about that, but I suppose I really should apologise for the nonsensical doggerel below. Apparently, I have not yet managed to make my way out of Wistlyn Shallows…. Sing! I’m happy: why does…

Rosalina backstory in my au (Tons of angst)
I've been thinking about Rosalina for a week, and I've decided to share some information about her backstory in my AU. It's a bit different from canon, but I think it adds an interesting twist to her character. Anyways, here's what I wrote.
Rosalina has always had an unbreakable bond with her family in the Mario Universe. However, she had an extended family in addition to her parents, including grandparents, uncles, and cousins. They had a beautiful life and a close-knit connection. Her mother was like the sun, shining brightly, while her father was like the moon, illuminating the dark. Together, the couple lived in a world where stars were sentient beings, traversing the skies and communicating in a unique language. Humanoids, aliens, and strange creatures also coexisted in this world, each taking on unique forms and abilities.Rosalina herself was a humanoid, and she grew up surrounded by moon people. Her mother guided some across the Milky Way, teaching her daughter the importance of discipline, responsibility, and control. Her father taught her about the value of family and the importance of passion for one's goals.
Rosalina's parents were rulers and guardians, respected by their subjects and beloved by the citizens. They treated their people with kindness and fairness, and Rosalina was set to follow in their footsteps. However, tragedy struck, and the family was torn apart.A lethal, infectious virus that affected the magic-based users and entities of cosmic magic began to spread and cause havoc in the world. The virus was highly transmissible and had the ability to slowly drain the life and magic out of affected users, turning them into husks.Rosalina's father, a wise and capable ruler, did his best to protect the population and implement protocols to prevent the spread of the virus. However, despite his best efforts, the virus claimed the lives of many, including the king himself.
In his final moments, Rosalina's father continued to rule and guide his people, determined even in the face of death to keep them safe and protected. Unfortunately, even his own family was not spared from the virus's destructive effects. His beloved wife became the next victim and, despite being aware of the danger, she kissed her dying husband in a show of love and devotion, knowing that the sickness would take her life too.Rosalina was devastated by the loss of her world, which was once filled with light and magic, and became darker and more somber. Her mother passed away in Rosalina's arms, leaving her to grieve the loss of her only family. Rosalina watched as her mother fought through the pain to hold her daughter close and share her final words. With a comforting smile and gentle touch, her mother kissed Rosalina's forehead and whispered, "Look to the stars, my darling; there you will find me, always watching over you. We'll both be watching you; be brave, my Rosa.”
Rosalina spent many months mourning the loss of her parents and the pain of ruling a kingdom that was broken by the stars. Her dress was now too big for her small body, and the burden of being queen was more than she could bear. She found solace in sleeping in her parents' bed, clinging to the memories of their warmth.Despite her young age, Rosalina knew that she needed to grow up quickly. She had responsibilities far beyond her years, and she struggled with the weight of leading a civilization that was no longer functional. After several years of ruling, Rosalina was at her breaking point. However, a small glimmer of hope appeared in the form of a glowing Luma. It seemed to have lost its family too, and Rosalina sensed a kindred spirit. She took this opportunity and made an announcement that she was leaving the kingdom. She was able to make it habitable again, but she knew that she couldn't rule it.With a heavy heart, Rosalina packed her bags and set out on a new journey, unsure of where it would take her. But she wasn't alone - the Luma would be by her side, reminding her that there was still hope and light in the world. She tucked securely under one arm was an oversized hardback book, its thick pages weighted with the memories of Rosalina's family. Like a family photo album, the book was a precious keepsake, a tangible reminder of happier times. Rosalina had spent months carefully crafting her sketchbook, ensuring it was large enough to house a lifetime of cherished family memories.
Fatigue shone in Rosalina's eyes, the result of weeks of endless work and little rest. She carried a secret burden, the weight of her family's memories weighing heavily upon her shoulders. Her mother's dress provided a simple comfort in a world that had become overwhelming, the luma family she carried inside it a source of solace and hope. But the memories she held so dear also had the power to destroy her. Flashes of the past would flood her mind, bringing with them the pain of loss and the longing for the days when her family was whole. The memories were too much to bear, and Rosalina would often find herself on the brink of collapse, crying uncontrollably as she clung to her mother's dress. Her father's earrings were a constant reminder of the people she had lost. Rosalina had barely had a moment to grieve, consumed as she was by her duties as a ruler. The responsibility she bore had taken its toll on her, both physically and emotionally. She was often too weary to eat, her body weak and fragile from the endless strain. The pain she felt was both haunting and overwhelming, the kind of agony that threatened to devour her whole.
When Luma, the small star-shaped creature, approached Rosalina and heard her sobs, they knew they had to help. With reassuring words and comforting actions, they helped her calm down and feel safe. After hours of her tears, Rosalina finally quieted down, her cries gradually slowing down until she finally fell asleep. Luma then hugged her tightly, grateful for the opportunity to finally feel safe and protected. The experience was transformative for Rosalina, who had been through so much trauma and struggled with depression for a long time. Seeing her loved ones being killed, encountering the aftermath, and carrying the weight of restoring an entire civilization had taken a toll on her. She carried so much stress and anger, but finally, with the presence of Luma, she felt a sense of hope and even managed to feel alive again.Along with Luma, she also found Luna, another luma who she considered her child. Together, they provided her with a sense of love and comfort, helping her heal and move forward from the pain and suffering she had endured for far too long.
Rosalina's journey through the decades was a journey of healing, motherhood, and leadership. With the love and support of her loyal Lumas, including Luna, she was able to find comfort and purpose as the Queen of the Stars. Despite the virus slowly eating away at her, the magic within her allowed her to keep it at bay, ensuring her powers remained intact. And though her family was gone, she cherished the memories and legacy they left behind, wearing her mother's dress and her father's star helmet with his jewelry, grateful for the chance to cling onto her roots.
Rosalina's greatest achievement was the creation of the Comet Observatory, a beautiful marvel that she built on top of a drawing she created with her family decades ago. The Observatory was a bustling hub that served as a home for Lumas and Luna, filled with pictures and memories of them that made Rosalina smile. It was a testament to her resilience, determination, and love for her family, and it would forever stand as a reminder of the power of love and companionship.
Rosalina has always felt her parents' presence in the stars, even when they were still alive. But the loss of her loved ones had left a gaping hole in her heart that no amount of light could fill. She had to find a way to cope with the pain of missing them every day.But the luma helped her see things differently. They showed her that her parents were always with her, not just in the stars but in the very creatures that surrounded her. Luma's love and kindness reminded her of the love and care her mother and father had shown her growing up.Despite the bittersweet feeling of finally having a "family," she still couldn't help but miss her parents dearly. She found solace in the memories of their lives together, how they shared their passions and laughter. And when she looked up to the stars, she couldn't help but feel them shining brighter than ever. She knows she will always carry her parents in her heart, no matter where her journey takes her. And no matter how much time passes, they will always be a part of her, guiding her and reminding her of what truly matters in life.
Also extra art of younger Rosalina in my au.
(Sorry for horrible grammar and handwriting tho)

A reminding her of her past and what she has lost. Her mother's dress was a constant reminder of who she was and who she wanted to be, but her heart wasn't in it.The color scheme of her younger self felt dull and lifeless, lacking any spark or bright colors. The only thing that stood out was her mother's dress, which had a stark contrast to the rest of her appearance. Her eyes had lost their shine, and her hair had lost its luster, reflecting the darkness that had taken hold of her. She had stopped taking care of herself, not caring about her appearance or her voice, only speaking when she had to. The Rosalina that was once full of life and joy was a distant memory, replaced by this empty shell of a person. As she got older, her mental health slowly improved. She felt more at ease, like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. However, it wasn't an easy path to get there. She had to deal with a lot of hardships and pain, but with time, she found a new lease on life. While she didn't age like a human, she aged slowly, meaning she was still subject to death and harm. However, she was much more resistant to it than humans and earth creatures.

Hiii I might be slightly behind but is there going to be more of star coming soon. I would love to read more and I’ve read all 11 parts on wattpad. Love your work soo much
Dear readers,
I would like to apologize to anyone who was following the fanfics 'Star' and 'Blood Stain'. Someone in the family got sick (she has been feeling unwell since the 24th), and this really scared everyone in the family. I confess, I was also a little discouraged by the ghost readers on Wattpad, it's been a while since I saw any comments so I felt insecure about whether I'm really writing well.
Well my family member is feeling better, again I'm sorry for neglecting the two fanfics (but you guys also need to disturb me a little bit or I'll think no one is reading!).
Seriously, you can flood my message wall on Wattpad and fill the comment boxes! Praise, criticize, make fun of the characters, just write something so I know someone is following.
About 'Star', I will continue writing, the fanfic had been planned to have the amount of chapters that Taylor Swift's midnight album has of songs, so you will have more chapters ahead.
About 'Blood Stain', the fanfic wasn't entirely planned, I wrote it in the heat of the moment because of the excitement, I need to think a little more about what to do.
Anyway, I promise to try to update both fanfics by next Sunday. For now, stay tuned for my headcanon book. This book will gather all the headcanons, scenarios and oneshots that I have already posted or will post on Tumblr, it is a way of organizing myself, and it is easier for you to find, besides being able to read whenever you want.
I will leave the link below, about the fanfics, I ask that you be patient with the updates, as I am currently working on the release of my two original books.
(And maybe by the end of the year both the physical and digital formats will be available to you in two languages!💙✨)
The year started off hectic and with some scares, but good things are coming too. Wish me luck!
Thank you to everyone who has followed me so far.
Yours sincerely,
Luma Constante.
PS:. I'm updating the headcanons book little by little, but feel free to make requests there or here.

Watching Disney's "Wish"--No idea what to expect but mostly here for Chris Pine. Pray for me.
-Old school storybook opening sequence which is clearly meant to be evocative of Snow White, Pinocchio, etc. But it's very hard to play it straight in a Post-Shrek world.
-Jesus the world's most painfully expositional dialogue.
-Oh god the body language and the timing of the expressions... Disney has only had one (1) Heroine Concept since they popped out Moana and none of them have been as compelling as Moana.
-Rosas has Duloc vibes. Disney really did not consider the post-Shrek implications of this writing and worldbuilding.
-TANGLED REFERENCE.
-Oh god the Seven Dwarf Besties. Like... to what end??? Who is this for??? This is too many characters for one scene??? If they aren't in the title maybe don't dump 7 on your main character???
-Every time I hear that the Queen and King were originally written to be a villain power couple I'm soooo depressed at looking at this queen. I do like this character design.
-CHRIS PINE THIS IS WHAT I'M HERE FOR.
-ANIMATION REFERNCE.
-Aw hell yeah that's actually a damn good villain turnaround.
-Goddammit yeah again making the Queen ignorant of the whole evil king thing is sooooo disappointing and boring compared to the concept arts.
-Eyvind Earle inspired backgrounds are pretty good.
-This is a really creative concept with very interesting worldbuilding implications but goddamn Disney is just falling so hard back on what it thinks is fun and poppy and marketable and also the music is being pulled in like 5 different directions.
-Why is there a raccoon in the Mediterranean.
-Snow White Wishing Well reference.
-GOD the 'Well that just happened' dialogue.
-Is that a fucking Luma from Super Mario Galaxy.
-Alan Tudyk is here now.
-Oh so this is gonna be a *heist* movie. That's why she's got 7 besties.
-...again kind of disappointed that the Star is basically just a Luma and not a heavily ADHD-coded guy like we saw in the concept art.
-Bro the music in this is SO ALL OVER THE PLACE. IT'S PAINFUL. Chris Pine's villain song was just upbeat pop. Like practically Hanson. And then there's a song that's just.. literal straight up political revolution played completely straight.
-Saba's gonna fuckin die.
-You can tell Chris Pine is having so much fun being a campy charismatic villain he deserves such a better song than the one he got.
-Mage hand!!
-Maleficent ass magic effects.
-Man the movie did *not* set up the tone shift sufficiently.
-Jesus this is a specific ass political revolution song.
-I think this is the first Disney Princess to start, like, a full-on coup.
-Okay so they had to make the queen good so that Asha wouldn't be completely obliterating the government.
-Damn there's just a guy in full Peter Pan costume I guess.
-...straight up Fairy Godmother name drop. I THOUGHT THAT CLOAK REFERENCE WAS BUILDING UP TO SOMETHING.
-This movie is like 80% visual references to previous Disney Films--JESUS ENDING WITH THE MICKEY MOUSE EARS FIREWORKS AND A WINK.
-like... I get that it's Disney's 100th anniversary but it's also like... you could have made a short celebrating that and let this like.. be an actual movie.

ignore that im on my selfship account it’s luma lmao
some selfship questions for u and tooru <3
•does tooru get you flowers? if so, what kind?
ldoes tooru like to read books with you? or does he secretly collect all your favs and binge read them?
•what shows do you watch together?
•have you guys had any thoughts on marriage? (sorry if this makes you uncomfy i’ll note it for the future)
•do you guys match icons on like tumblr or insta?
•what couple do you resonate you and tooru with? like for example me and scara kinda resemble harley quinn and the joker (minus the toxicity)
•what video games do you guys play together? if you play genshin together, who does he main / what team does he use and do you do cute genshin couple things?
hi luma! no worries, i figured it was you😭 woohoo selfship questions, i’ll do my best to answer those<33
— tooru is the flower giving type!! i think he’s the kind of person to read into flower language and symbolism cuz like, it’s tooru.. he never does anything haphazardly and always wants to provide the best, so he definitely looks into their meanings before choosing accordingly depending on the occasion or mood<3 red roses are a common ( given their symbolism for love and passion ), forget me nots are also some he frequently sends ( often as a reassurance to me, along with himself ), daisies ( he remembers how i used to really like them as a kid, and brings them as a reminder of those times ) and a combo between lily of the valley and larkspur ( they’re the flowers of our birth months<3 )
— i think he would show interest in what i read and i would beg him on my hands and knees to read my favs, specifically the folk of air series, to scream with him!! bonus if he decided to annotate and swap copies with me so we could read each other’s comments<3 furthermore, he serenades me to sleep by reading on stressy nights :’) and just cuz his voice is so<3
— definitely star wars oriented shows.. the clone wars has consumed us wholly and we have not recovered from the siege of mandalore.. sitcoms FOR SURE, i love friends a completely normal amount, seinfeld too, modern family, big bang theory, king of queens, etc. anyway, other than that we’d probably watch a lottt of slice of life / romance anime since it’s super comforting and silly<333 although some shonen anime make certain exceptions ( owari no seraph my love ) OH AND CARTOONS BC OLD SPONGEBOB HUMOR >>>
— TOORU IS DEFINITELY A MARRIAGE KIND OF GUY and like same i want marriage too but later down the line cuz i wanna enjoy the youth and sillying around of dating.. but i think we would unironically refer to each other as husband n wife.. and act like a married couple.. proposing is gonna be a challenge because he wants to do it but i ALSO want to do it like babes let me get on my knee pls and propose to you like the king you are smh
— i don’t think tooru would be on tumblr, maybe he would be if he indulges in my nonsense.. so probably instagram!
— we are anakin and padmé for sure and take turns, although misaki and usui are definitely us too, as well as kuronuma and kazehaya ( THEY MAKE ME SO EMO AND NOT NORMAL )
— we play a lot of wii and ds games together pre timeskip, specifically super mario bros, mario kart, mario party, wii sports, just dance — all that jazz, and i would have begged him to indulge me in my tekken addiction despite the amount of times he would get his ass handed to him BAHAHAHAHA ( he’s petty bc i use asuka since she counters attacks ) now post timeskip, we would definitely play ssbu because it’s just sm fun ( a-and um um sephiroth…. ) — now i would get my ass handed here instead.. and of course we cannot forget the hit game GENSHIN IMPACT!!! bro mains either tartaglia, ayato or alhaitham because i am not normal about them and he makes it a goal to tease me using them.. think he probably uses vaporize a lot to stick to my synergy or spread; as for couple things, we definitely take each other to pretty locations we found or help one another with grinding / quests. if there are also co-op games, those too!! for the rest, we’d probably take turns on ffvii since it’s single player and i have a tendency to throw a controller at someone when things get too heated.. prepare yourself tooru!! especially if sephi is the final boss..
#luma🫶#— ; 🏹 ) toorellie.#whoops i wrote too much..#I CANT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT BEING DESCRIPTIVE#ahem anyways thank you for the questions luma<3 i will send some soon LMAO

rosalina headcanon
rosalina is able to communicate/read in many languages, including many ancient/obscure ones. all those centuries being in space gave her lots of time to learn/study them in her free time when she wasn’t taking care of the lumas. she also has a vast collection of various literature written in different languages in her observatory library that she’s collected over the years, so she was able to keep her language skills sharp by reading those books and practicing with the lumas (who, being star children of the universe, can automatically understand and communicate in any language that exists).
(this may or may not have come from me thinking about the rosetta stone and the fact that rosalina’s name in japan is rosetta…i also thought of a corny line where rosalina is demonstrating her language abilities and some other character is like, “how the heck do you know all those languages? are you like, the rosetta stone or something?”)

i love ppl who rip n encode n upload movies online especially when they do so well n see to feel pride in their craft look at this shit bout this rebellion torrent i found:
2.0 and 5.1 audio included. There is an alternate honorifics track in this release. Set your media player to play “enm” language tracks by default to automatically play honorifics tracks. It turns out that Aniplex, a major anime publisher, has been intentionally sabotaging the quality of many of its Blu-Rays for more than a decade. Though it doesn’t seem like the Monogatari series has been affected, high-profile shows like Kill la Kill, Lycoris Recoil, Promare, Haruhi, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Fate/Zero, Fate Stay/Night: UBW, Fate literally/everything/else, the Shirobako movie, Ascendance of a Bookworm, Soul Eater, and Steins;Gate contain scenes where the quality has been reduced for no good reason, particularly the first three anime in the list. The only way to fix this is to use an alternate source like Crunchyroll (which doesn’t always work that well because the scenes with this damage often have a high bitrate) or a non-US, non-JP Blu-Ray. This movie, too, is affected by Aniplex’s shenanigans, so the German Blu-Ray was used as an alternate source. (The Italian Blu-Ray was a copy of the JPBD.) This was principally used to replace the chroma in many scenes, with MTBB having better colors than the JPBD in comps 03-06 below, for example. Comp 28 is about as bad as it gets. About 20% of the movie is affected. But the German Blu-Ray has all kinds of artifacting in high-motion scenes, so it normally was not worth it to use it for luma. The chroma replacement was handled automatically, with scenes alternating between the JP and GER BDs depending on which source had stronger edgemasks for chroma. You can see that the chroma is more blurry in the bad JPBD scenes, so I figured an edgemask would be correspondingly weaker, and that method seems to have worked pretty reliably. Another aspect of this encode is the fractional rescale. This movie is a great demonstration of the power of a proper descale --> waifu2x cunet double. Some of the lineart repair going on here is downright miraculous, like in comp 27 below, even in comparison to Kawaiika. The Monogatari series basically has the same sort of lineart as Madoka, so it would also benefit from this process—though it wouldn’t be that much of an improvement over Kawaiika-Raws/OZR. If you want to encode it, the descale is 719.78 fractional for the res and probably (0, 0.5) bicubic for the kernel, though I think that changes at some point in the series. Bakemonogatari in particular would benefit from better lineart filtering than the best current encode (Beatrice-Raws). Anyway, here’s some comparisons. Kawaiika was included because it is by far the best JPBD-based encode.
#read all of this in awe honestly maybe im easily impressed but PPL CARE BOUT THIS SHIT SO MUCH!#waifu2x is the best name for a tool ever made even one of my teachers at uni was like ok guys dont underestimate this based on the name lol

Lost and Found
Mario fandom, may I humbly offer my first contribution lol. A Peach fanfic cause I can't get my mind off this gal. A little idea that's been crawling in my brain for a while, and I finally sat myself down in front of a word doc to just write it up. So, takes place in the movie-verse until the point in the flashback where baby peach encounters the toads and just a tad bit after that.
The small blonde walked through the now abandoned town in search of just anyone at this point. Stores that were once filled with shoppers looking to purchase a variety of different things while workers assisted were now empty. The playground where she'd play and laugh with girls and boys of all ages was now filled with silence. Home, where she had awoken from a nap alone for the first time ever, was missing her mom and dad. The door was left wide open as she scrambled off the couch making a grab for her purple blanket and tying around her neck. With pink shoes now on the best way her parents showed her how to and pacifier in hand she was out the house. What started out as a fun game of hide and seek in the young child's mind, began to grow into worry as the sky went from a beautiful light blue to a bright orange.
"Mommy? Daddy? Hello" The child once again called out, peering around yet another aisle inside yet another building. The three-year old made sure that no area was left unsearched even if that meant stacking items on top of each other to reach door handles. For the tenth time in her mind, she was met with no response.
Small blue eyes began to fill up with tears as she felt her heart break in two. Sniffling, she Reached up to her cheeks to wipe away the wetness and reached inside her skirt pocket for her pacifier. It wasn't much but it did bring her some comfort as it always would. Vaguely she could hear her father telling her mother how she was getting too old for it and should have been weaned off of it ages ago. A small smile would appear on her mother's face while she cooked up a meal in the kitchen laughing as she would always promise to start the process next week only to not follow through. With another failed search in locating anyone, the girl left the store feeling exhausted mentally and physically. Little legs aching for a break after walking for what seemed like forever she finally gave in, sitting on the ground and leaning against the brick wall of the store.
Taking the blanket from around her neck she covered her body and closed her eyes. The child's mind finally embraced the negative thoughts that started to itch at her brain after the fifth place she looked.
No, there will be no one at the next place you go.
No matter how loud you call out, no one will answer back.
Yes you are alone and will never see anyone again.
With the last of her hope dissolving, she succumbed to sleep and let the last of her tears fall.
The cold breeze awoke her from her slumber this time, having shifted from her original sitting to lying on her side sometime in her sleep causing the blanket to slide off. Shivering slightly she wrapped the blanket as tightly around her as she could to feel warm. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she realized that the sky was now a dark blue and the only light came from the moon and the many of the stars in the sky. A memory of sitting in her dads lap with her mom on his side pointing out the stars on a grassy field to them flashed before her eyes. They began to fill up with salty water after removing her sight from the sky to look across the street when something strange caught her eye. Floating and staring was a pink pudgy starry figure that she only ever saw in the picture books her parents read to her during bedtime. Sitting up she stared right back into the creature's black eyes as she tried to recall the name the stories gave it.
"A Duma?" She took her pacifier out and voiced aloud as its name finally came to mind. It made a sound in a language that probably no one would understand. The Luma beckoned with its entire body to follow and started off down the street. Puzzled for a moment to process things she shook her head standing up and frantically cried out "Wait, please don't go" she grabbed her blanket once again placed it around her neck and pocketed her pacifier before taking off in the direction it went.
The Luma led her to the forest that every adult, be it their families or not in the town warned every child that could walk not to enter. As it went ahead, the little girl came to a complete stop where the town ended and the forest started hesitating to cross. Sensing that she was no longer following, the Luma also came to a stop and turned to face her, repeating the beckoning gesture from before.
"Duma, I'm not supposed to go in there." She explained with a soft voice pointing a finger at the forest that is full of unknown secrets. "I'll get in trouble if someone sees me-" that last word barely escaped her mouth before she promptly closed it, bringing her previous hand to cover her mouth.
The thoughts from earlier crept back into her mind, repeating the phrases she tried hard to ignore throughout the day. This time though a new thought came to her mind. What if everyone went into the forest and was just waiting for her to join them? A new hope filled up in her chest and she looked at the Luma with a newfound determination and courage.
"Ok I'll follow you, but you gotta promise that there's anyone there" She told the creature and it responded with the same unknown sound.
"Alright let's go then" she let out a small giggle before looking at her feet one by one as they crossed into the beginning of the forest. The girl turned to take in one final look at the empty and stared for a moment before following the Luma further in.
The two figures ventured in silence for a little while longer. The blonde child only stopped every few feet to glance around and up ahead for any sign of a familiar figure. The Luma came to a stop first and the girl bumped into its body several seconds after being distracted.
"Hey why did we-" she started to ask but could not continue the rest of her question as she took in her new surroundings. The luma had led them to an area with a stony ground surrounded by huge pillars. What had caught her eye the most was the green object built in between the two pillars as it glowed a white light in the middle. "Wow" was the only word she could bring herself to voice.
The girl suddenly had a feeling that whatever was inside the pipe was calling to her as she started to walk forward only to be stopped by the Luma placing its body against her to keep her in place. The Luma floated lower to the ground and it took the child a few moments to figure that it must have wanted her to sit down. Sitting on the ground she crossed her legs and placed her hands in between them facing the green object. With more than decent patience for a child her age, she started squirming in place the longer they sat there the more she wanted to just get up and go into the mysterious object. From fiddling with the blanket around her body to messing with the object in her pocket to tapping her fingers against her legs, all of that could only distract her but so much from not focusing on the light. What if everyone was waiting for her on the other side and she was holding them up by waiting here? As soon as that thought entered her mind she got up and tried to make a dash as quick as her little legs could go.
All she could process was the sound of the Luma making a noise behind her and bumping into something the next moment before landing on her bottom. Rubbing her head she looked up to what had caused her to fall and what she saw took her by complete surprise left her speechless.A light blonde haired women with a bang covering one eye wearing a crown in a beautiful blue dress was levitating slightly above the ground and holding a star wand appeared in front of her with a smile. While she never knew everyone in the town, she was certain she would remember a person that could float. The question 'who are you' was on the tip of her tongue but she couldn't bring herself to voice it aloud, It didn’t take much longer for the women above her to speak.
“Hello there little one, It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She kindly greeted the child who still stared at with a confused expression in her eyes and mouth agape in question.
“You have gone through so much in such a short amount of time. Allow me to heal your mind.” With that said, she lowered the wand to the child's head. It began to glow as all the negative thoughts and memories left.
On one hand it felt as though nothing could hold the child back from embracing any and everything that would come her way. On the other hand it felt as though two important people disappeared and she couldn’t recall who they were or if they ever existed in the first place. The woman removed her wand when she was satisfied with her magic. The girl continued to look on with wide eyes.
“You are going to do so many amazing things and inspire so many in your future.” The woman started to say to the child who looked on with wonder filled eyes.
“You will meet allies and foes alike. There will be many challenges you’ll have to face but you will get through them with your bravery. I have already seen it.” She assured and moved to the side to reveal the glowing green object once more.
“Go on in, They are waiting for you on the other side. Guide and Protect them. Show them what a respectable and kind leader you can be. Our paths will cross again one day” With that final promise the woman started to vanish before the girl's eyes.
When the figure faded away completely she was once again alone and had so many questions. What did all of it mean? Was everything the women said was true? Who will she meet on the other side? That last question would be answered sooner rather than later as she could finally enter the thing that was pulling her in. While she was mostly ready to take that step, there was a small part of her that was fearful of the unknown. Reaching in her pocket once more she grabbed her pacifier and put it in her mouth to feel that comfort, before taking in a small breath and stepping in. Finding herself flowing aimlessly through this portal, she took in the colors some of which she had never seen before. Despite floating in midair she felt calm and just let the current take her to its predetermined destination. Up ahead she saw another round green object similar to the one in the stoned area, The current around her started to slow down in preparation to enter the pipe again.
The girl was finally able to stand up and walk on her own two feet the rest of the way. Clutching her hands she took in the environment around her as the exit came closer she placed her hand on the green object to hold her balance as she took a step down. Taking this time to look in front of her she noticed that these rainbowed people dressed in identical clothing and were slightly taller than herself but they had this warm and inviting presence about them that made approaching them much easier so she did. The creatures also approached her but with slightly more caution in their step following the green person who was leading the other two bent down in front of her with a smile. The woman's words of being ‘a kind person’ ringed in the back of her mind. So she did what she thought was the nicest thing and took out her cherished pacifier and stuck it in the creature's mouth who looked on in confusion. Giggling she jumped up wrapping her arms around its shoulders immediately feeling safe and secure as this person also embraced her holding her up.
“Told you that you had a way with kids” came a teasing voice from behind. “Ow what I say?” the yellow person rubbed its arm and stared offendedly at the other person that whacked him moments prior.
“Now’s not the time for jokes, you dummy this is serious.” the red one scolded the other. “Some strange person just came out of the pipe after it's been glowing all day. It could be here to kill us.” It tried to get the other to understand their point of view. “You better take that thing out of your mouth TG, it could be poisonous” he suggested to the green guy. The yellow one scoffed out a ‘really dude c’mon’ under its breath.
“Mmm” TG mouthed before shifting the child's body weight onto one side of its body removing the pacifier and sticking it back into her mouth. “Well it does just seem like an innocent baby, but better safe than sorry. Let’s head to Toadsworth. He could probably tell us what you are. Yes he can” he gave the blonde's belly a tickle drawing out that giggle from earlier.
“No, don't make friends with it, we aren't sure of its motives yet” The red one tried again with no avail as it began to lead the way back to the others with the other two trailing behind.
“I like the moon, it's pretty” was the first sentence the child said out loud as she pointed at the object in the sky as they all hiked back.
“Wow you do?” TG engaged with her as she nodded eagerly. “I do too, it's very pretty on nights like these” he agreed with her. Several minutes of this went on where she pointed out things she likes and he would talk with her. At one point even the yellow guy hopped into the conversation much to the annoyance of the red person.
“Hey, what are you?” she asked tapping TG’s shoulder to get his attention.
“What am I? Oh well I’m what's called a Toad. Can you say that? Toad” he mouthed it out loud to her slowly and they both repeated it several times.
“I like Toad, they're nice,” she said, nuzzling her face closer into TGs neck and wrapping her arms around him tighter. Before he could return the compliment the red toad spoke up.
“We’re here guys, let's go.” He knocked on the door three times before a brown spotted Toad with a brown mustache and red bowtie appeared in the doorway. “Something finally came out the pipe that we’ve been keeping an eye on all day. It appears to be a baby of some kind” he added as the three of them were ushered inside.
Toadsworth offered them tea as they all began to gather around the small table. The child continued clutching onto the green toad and only glanced every now and again at the mustached gentleman. The four of them conversed over tea gathering new information from the elder Toad. They first found out its gender which was revealed to them as a female and that she belonged to one of the species called humans, though with there being many galaxies and regions they could reside in, the probability in pinpointing the exact place of origin she was from would be a challenge even a guy as smart as him couldn’t figure out. They also came to the conclusion that based on how she interacted with the environment that she was on par with the toad children starting school. The red toad finally stopped giving the child a look of suspicion and after the third round of tea the host directed the conversation towards the blonde girl reaching for the kettle in the middle of the table.
“Oh how rude of me. Please accept my sincerest apologies my dear.” Toadsworth quickly got out of his seat heading over to the cabinet to grab another cup. “A gentleman must always offer a lady a drink.” He started to pour her a cup of tea before the green toad interrupted
“I think she might be a little too young for tea or anything with caffeine for that matter, Toadsworth sir.” he said, motioning his head to the child who now had her own seat.
“You are quite right, The youth these days mustn't get used to relying on stuff like this.” Toadsworth chuckled and went over to the fridge to see what refreshments he had in there. “Oh yes I just received a carton of milk from the meadows this morning. Would you like that m’lady?” In response he got an excited round of applause from the child.
Toadsworth offered to take care of the child for the remainder of the night and start some research in the morning for which planet she could be from and if needed within the next couple of days or weeks put together a group of toads to get this kid back home to her parents. He prepared her for bed first and then went through his nighttime routine which included grabbing a snack for bed, tonight being a fresh bowl of sliced peaches. The girl sat on the bed flipping through a picture book he gave her.
“Well my dear I’m terribly sorry for just now realizing this” He apologized, placing the bowl on the nightstand next to the bed she looked up from the book first to the food and then to him. “My fellow comrades or I failed to ask you your name. So what are you called?” he asked and she stared at him for a few moments before she opened her mouth.
“I want the Peach” she pointed to the bowl that was on the nightstand behind him causing him to reach for the bowl and present it in front of her, smiling when she reached out and grabbed a couple slices.
“Ok now back to important matters.” he cleared his throat into his fist. “What would you like us to call you for the time that you reside with us?” He tried again to get her to focus on what he was asking.
“I like Peach” She said with a smile after finishing the last bite flashing him a toothy smile and he stared at her thoughtfully for a moment.
“Alright I shall call you Lady Peach when you’re in my presence and make sure everyone calls you that as well” He told her and assumed she’d probably have a different answer to the question by tomorrow or the next couple of days.

I'm still baffled about tbh everything abt Wish like ??? for an homage of classic disney/disney renaissance why not go back to the 2d animation! write/perform the good songs! write a story with sincerity and heart! and for a movie that was apparently in production since 2018, it's baffling how it could be so meh (Tangled was pretty good and had about the same production time - 6 years). I think it's definitely due to higher-ups/execs interfering but man. backfired horribly bc now all everyone is going to think of said film is just another typical disney film, take it or leave it
Well, in regards to the 2D animation aspect, we had a confirmed answer as to why (up to this point; remember, to try and preemptively save face before Wish dropped, Disney made the announcement of 'diving back into 2D animation') Disney hasn't touched 2D animation in the past ten-odd years:
They don't have anyone left to teach the new generation traditional animation.
Which, really, is still Disney's fault but, yeah, there's a reason why most recent animation that harkens back to the feel of the Disney Renaissance is done by foreign studios and independent animation teams.
I'm actually reminded of a recent 'gotcha' tweet someone tried making where they found a picture of the animators for Bambi in the studio studying a live deer to get the body-language and structure down. The OP was all 'See? Back in the day, animators actually used to care about their craft! They're all just lazy now!!'
But every rational animator in the industry who saw the tweet pretty much had the same response of 'Do you think that if studios gave us time and resources like this we wouldn't be doing shit like this?'
But, back to Wish: it really does feel like the notion of 'a film to celebrate a studio's centennial legacy' got pushed to the side for the sake of marketing toys of that fucking goat and Luma-knockoff star, as well as making perfectly milquetoast, inoffensive songs that can be spammed on radio and used in TikTok memes.

Here's a recipe I found to be the most authentic!
https://feelgoodfoodie.net/recipe/traditional-lebanese-tabbouleh-salad/#wprm-recipe-container-6079
You can substitute the tomatoes for roasted peppers, that way you can still have the red colour in there and enjoy the flavour 🫶🥰
I'm gonna save this recipe and will make it as soon as my stomach is okay again 😩😩 it sounds so so good!
Thank you for sharing this with me 🥹

Im kinda hoping to maybe— find some lil rp buddies for age regression rps within Hazbin & Hevulla boss role play / writing community
I write
Pet regressor Husk (mainly kitten head space)
Little Angel (4-6)
Little Lucifer (0-2)
Little Blitzo (2-4)
Little Fizz (2-4)
I also really wanna try out Alastor as a little, I’m not 100% sure of his details though
Then I have 1 (one) oc that’s a age regressir, she’s a sheep / lamb demon- she regresses from anywhere to 2-6, and she’s also mute, but uses a communication device to talk. She also knows sign language! Her name is Luma-Mae, I don’t really have a set caregiver for her tbh.
Right now I don’t really write care giver roles, so I’m not looking to double up, but I’m okay w/ just short and simple rps. I only really rp on discord through organized servers I create too.
If you end up being interested, feel free to message me, and I’ll get back to you 💕

Ah, I see. I should have... it was rude to assume your first language was spoken. All of the societies and most of bugs I've come across speak, I've yet to meet a group that communicates in mostly gestures and vibrations. I think that'd be... nice.
Do bugs from outside your home understand you when you gesture? Or is it specific enough only people from home understand you?
-Luma
Hmph. I wouldn't refer to it as "nice," as it created a sense of unease around the spoken word. Whenever a-- ahem, Whenever someone chose to use words as opposed to gesture, it was almost always for the purpose of chastising or gruesome threats! Scathing taunts dripping with vitriol were the only words you'd hear.
As for your second point, well... Multiple gestures would not translate, no. They were not, uh... Simple to perform, one might say. Not something any unknowing bug would understand.
Few would, however, as they were straightforward enough that surely even the daftest of bugs would parse out the meaning. If I point towards the ground, surely you would comprehend that as "down," for instance.
I would say it's mixed. Pointing would make sense to you, but numbers of stomps would convey nothing. Then again, the latter had more to do with the vibrations than the act of stomping, but I believe I am getting my point across.
#prattling on#[[ooc: yaaay I love nosk lore yippie !!! making shit up!!!#the gestures that are Hard to Perform would be ones using the spines along a nosk's back . obviously in the state zot is in now he. um.#can't do that. So hdgkjDGHKSH]]

Hello my sunshine! ✨☀️
I hope everyone is doing well! In the previous post I mentioned that I had received the challenge of writing a fanfic where Bruce is the father of a girl.
So, well I started posting the Portuguese version on Wattpad and now I'm posting it in English too, for anyone interested I'll leave the prologue of the fanfic here.
The chapters will be posted once a week on Wattpad, so be patient, okay? Leave a comment where you are from, Maybe I'll start posting in Japanese, which is another language I speak.
Here is the link to my official Wattpad profile, the name of the fanfic is "Star":
One, two, three, four.
Four times. That’s how many times the pearls from my mother’s necklace hit the ground as it broke, rolling somewhere beneath the tangle of wires behind the speakers and the jellyfish-shaped lights, while the instrumental music continued to play.
Five, six, seven, eight.
Eight seconds passed before the fans in the front row realized something was wrong—that the woman holding the bloodied knife over the lifeless body wasn’t part of the performance.
Nine, ten, eleven, twelve.
Twelve times. That’s how many times I replayed that scene in my mind since the Gotham City police took me to the station to give my statement about what had happened.
The questions were always the same:
— "Do you know the killer?"
— "What was your mother’s relationship with the killer?"
— "Did your mother have any enemies?"
— "Are you sure of what you saw?"
— "Did your mother have any secrets?"
— "Are you okay?"
Thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen.
Sixteen was the number of steps from the interrogation room to the psychologist’s office.
I’ve known how to count since I was four years old—it’s my earliest memory, and for some reason, the most vivid.
I was in the rehearsal room, watching my mother practice her performance for her show. She counted each step of her routine as she evaluated her movements in the mirror’s reflection.
— "Counting helps you focus on what’s important," she used to say.
And it was by watching her practice that I learned the numbers. They became an annoying and irrepressible habit, according to some people, but I like it. Counting gives me an illusory sense of control, and I feel comforted by it.
Seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty.
Twenty was the number of dancers who fled the stage, ignoring the fallen body. I remember every detail clearly: the ellipsoidal lights shining in shades of blue and purple, the speakers making the stage’s wooden and iron structure tremble, the pearls from the necklace hitting the carpet, the wireless microphone rolling to my feet.
She never liked pearls; she always preferred sapphires. But that day, since I was going to make a small appearance in her show, she insisted I wear her favorite sapphire necklace.
Bright, fiery blue sapphires. Just like the color of my eyes. I was about to step onto the stage for the final duet when it happened.
Kira Hoshi didn’t scream.
When the knife pierced her abdomen, she looked at the perpetrator in shock. They exchanged words—silent, muted—that I’ll never know the meaning of, and then my mother’s body fell with a dull thud, collapsing to her knees.
The woman with dark hair and colorful streaks looked at me with a smile before leaving the scene.
When I ran toward the bloodied body on the ground, no one tried to stop me.
I can’t remember what happened next. There were no more sequences; the numbers began to jumble in my mind, stuck in no particular order.
The microphone in my hand fell, emitting a sharp, irritating sound as I embraced the bloodied body. She stroked my face, wiping the tears streaming down my cheeks. Her lips moved, but I couldn’t hear anything except the microphone’s grating sound.
Her lips curved into a faint smile as one of her hands caressed my dark blue hair.
"I love you," her lips mouthed silently.
A lump formed in my throat, and more tears rolled down my cheeks.
When her dark eyes lost their shine, I knew I would never hear those words from her again.
I don’t know how much time passed before someone pulled me away from the body. I didn’t even have the strength to look away.
My hands were cold as ice, and the blue and purple lights still flashed overhead when two officers dragged me away as the paramedics approached to examine her body.
But just like me, they already knew it was too late.
A police officer wrapped a thermal blanket around my shoulders. Some idiot had triggered the fire alarm while fleeing the venue, leaving me drenched from head to toe, but I barely noticed.
I simply let them lead me away from the chaos as if I were a little girl, and then they made me relive that scene over and over again until they were either tired or satisfied. And when they were satisfied, they let the reporters swarm me until all I could see were lights.
Every eye was on me, in the center of that room like in a circus. Exactly like in a circus. And as much as I wanted to step out of the spotlight, I knew the wall of people surrounding me wouldn’t allow it.
After the reporters gathered all the material they would sell on magazine and newspaper covers for the next few weeks, I was finally alone—or rather, almost alone.
A police officer chatted on the phone about some idiot she’d met at a party, but she didn’t seem interested or bothered by my presence.
It was nearly midnight when an officer finally cared enough to inform me of what would happen to me next. They told me they couldn’t reach my aunt at the number I had provided, so they searched through my mother’s contacts and called my father, who was already there to pick me up.
I let the thermal blanket slide off my shoulders as I followed the officer escorting me to the station’s exit. In front of the gate, a man dressed in an elegant suit waited by the car. I approached hesitantly, feeling his eyes fixed on me.
— "Hello, Alice," he said, bowing slightly. "It’s been some time..."
