so idk if anyone has addressed this yet but. luke has lost two people that mde up his entire support system. like he is such a kind man who gives all of his love and doesn’t ask for any of it back he just wants to know that everyone will be okay. and it is so amazing to see that but like. he wouldn’t even be here without the support of jocelyn in the first place and shes dead now. like. really dead dead. and even though he met alaric later in his life and luke helped alaric transition into werewolf lifestyle alaric clearly became very important to him and was also part of lukes support system at times. like it is so obvious that he and alaric shared a bond so deep and intimate and they were very much involved in each others personal life.

and luke just had both joce and alaric ripped away from him. for no real valid reason besides the fact that the writers wanted ~shock value™ ~ uwu  which is really gross and def. needs to be addressed.
