Mario games: The world is grand and open, colorful and friendly! There are plenty of dangers, but there are also kindly residents all around willing to give you a word of advice or encouragement. You are light and springy, filled to the brim with joy and enthusiasm! There is a job to do, but the path on the way is a veritable playground. The horizon is the limit and the world is your oyster.

Luigi games: You're forced into tiny rooms and narrow hallways where everything is dark and ominous. The claustrophobia of your surroundings is emphasized by the heavy piece of machinery tied to your back, rendering you unable to climb or jump. The best you can do is run, and run you will, because everything wants you dead except for a morally grey old scientist who cares more about research than survival, and a ghost dog who doesn't even comprehend how much danger you're in. i like the idea that over time gooigi gains more sentience, learns to control their shapeshifting, and becomes their own weird person. luigi tries not to think about the whole cloning thing lest the horrors descend

Unused animation found in Luigi's Mansion for "Luige" (a misspelled copy of Luigi found alongside Luigi's regular model).

The animation is called "lookheat", the meaning of which is unclear. Dataminers theorize that the Poltergust 3000 was originally intended to overheat after being used for too long, and Luigi (or Luige in this case) would have signalled this by looking back at the vacuum with a worried expression.
