NPC appreciation week: day 5 - Miracle Mask

Madame Lapushka (or Ludmilla in the UK version) and Drake The vintage costume shop owner and the manager of Scorpion Casino. They don’t interact in canon but I was taken with both of them. Lapushka is so sweet and knowledgeable about the comings and goings of Monte d’Or. And Drake made me laugh, with his sunglasses hiding an “intense glare” mooning over Henry to anyone who would listen. - Lapushka’s helping him find a costume for some sort of event... maybe a masquerade ball...

cloud 9 where all the magic happens (aka all members are elements of some sort) warning really. Long.

the guildmaster is caevis, he’s about ?? 29 ?? or at least looks that old. he’s old. but he’s blind !! a lot of people look down at him like “how good is he even if he cant see anything” but then he whoops their ass bc he’s tired of dealing with a lot volias. he’s a darkness elemental !! his favorite thing to do with his powers in battle is manipulating a person through their shadow like it was puppetry

volias is a fuckboi that somehow became a member of cloud nine. he’s a pyro and he’s burned several other members. he’s a fire elemental obviously. ??? is he human, or what ??? no one really knows actually. he’s got sharp teeth tho. His favorite thing to do in battle is making people catch on fire

isidore is pure mute son with really cool scarf. he’s ?? a darkness elemental he’s been around since the beginning of the guild, since caevis found him as an orphan and albeit being blind, decided to raise him himself and theyre a cute family together. isidore is short but everyones scared of him because when he gets really serious he usually parts his hair so you can see like one of his red eyes and its like. eternally pissed. one time during a battle he somehow got covered in blood after beating someone up with his scarf n everyone was shook lmao.

ludmilla is badass nough said. she’s one of the strongest members just with pure physical strength, but shes still like a combat elemental too. she can kick someones ass to pluto and back (literally and metaphorically) but she also like frilly cute clothes. also she got burned by volias bc hes dumb. her favorite thing to do in battle is kicking someones face.

twins lukas and clyde many, many jokes in just these two names. lukas + clyde >> lucas + claus (clyde sounds like clive which is the english name of a professor layton character whose japanese name is klaus >> claus). lukas is a shy n stuff and he’s a psychic elemental. clyde is really energetic and doesnt think things through like whoops. he’s a lightning elemental. you’re probably suffering, i know. also theyre pretty gay for each other.

vivian is a forest elemental and shes like. the biggest lesbian on the planet. the biggest lesbian that ever existed. she’s extremely gay for ludmilla. she likes to make flowers bloom n give them to her love but millie usually ignores them lmao ;;; she likes watch ludmilla beat people up, that she ended up developing her own sadistic tastes usually in battle by grabbing people with roots and vines and bending them in ways they should not be bent.

evelyn is a meme. they’re the person to lighten the mood. often shouts something stupid. they’re agender and a space elemental. though most of the time they don’t use their magic ?? bc they like swinging heavy weapons at people. they’re a force to be reckened with.

and finally !! kei who’s one of my favorites. he’s nice and always happy looking when he’s not obsessing over isi. yes hello this here’s a yandere. he’s a dragon elemental which is. also a little frightening. he fell in love with isi at like first sight so he joined the group and really wants to ask him out but hes also nervous at that kind of shit so he’s currently managing by stalking isi from afar. save him. or isi. either one.
