i find it so cute that happy went to lucy when he realised he was in love. sure, it was to say "lucy I'll give you my fish if you tell her I haven't been nutured yet" but still!! he was pulling on her leg like a little baby!

Do you have any Happy and Lucy headcanons? I love how Happy is relentless in teasing Lucy but she’s always the one he goes to when he’s scared or upset and he’s the one who cries the hardest whenever anything happens to her <33

Happy and Lucy's relationship is so good! I loved watching Lucy go from actively disliking him to becoming like a mother figure to him

Happy takes Lucy's side when she fights with Natsu. He doesn't even listen to what Natsu has to say

Lucy starts to feel bad watching Happy try and fail to flirt with Carla and offers her help. (he bullies her at first about not knowing anything about love, but also begs for her advice)

Lucy has a spray bottle in her apartment. Every time Happy makes a 'She loooves you' comment, he get's sprayed

It was all fun and games until Happy stole the bottle and absolutely drenched her

Happy does that cat thing where they make bread but solely on Lucy

When Lucy gets hurt bad on jobs, Happy will stay and cuddle with her while she heals. He says he's protecting her but it's mostly because he gets anxiety when she's hurt

Happy can't get the image of Lucy dying out of his head, so now whenever a blast goes off or there's a loud noise, he flies straight to her

Lucy makes sure to assure him that she's okay whenever she notices him freaking out

Happy likes to frame Lucy in public. They are sitting at a table eating lunch? Happy jumps down and loudly asks why she pushed him. Walking down the street? He falls over and cries that she tripped him

Lucy swears if she ends up getting an animal abuse charge because of him, she will actually kill him

Can we please take a moment to talk about Happy and Lucy? Tbh I’ve come to love their bond way more than that of Natsu and Happy’s. He always sticks with Lucy. They’re just chilling, teasing each other and having fun. I’d even say Happy has arguably more screentime with her than with Natsu.

Something nice happened? Runs to embrace her. Something’s scaring him? Quickly wraps his arms around her legs. Have to split up? Follows her around. Lucy’s not with them? No worries cause he has so much faith in her, c’mon it’s Lucy we’re talking about! She’s gonna be just fine.

That’s some amazing relationship.

Current State of NaLu:

The new 100YQ chapter just reaffirms the current theory of Natsu thinking him and Lucy are dating without asking her or knowing that she doesn't think the same 😭.

NaLu was never "will they, won't they", it's "when will they (realize that they're totally not on the same page about their relationship despite having mutual feelings because one is thinking about marriage while the other is convinced her feelings are unrequited)"
