do you think there would be a chance for GoHands to animate the 2nd part of Lost Small World? TT I want it so much. It would be such a dream come true to hear Munakata calling Homra's phone and pretend it's smtg normal, I badly need to see the Puzzle scene when Fushimi was in awe looking at Munakata, Kusanagi talk with Munakata, Fushimi vs Aya, also see Minato and Akito.

 Unfortunately I don’t think there’s much chance of them animating the rest, the second half of LSW really builds off the first so releasing it as its own standalone thing wouldn’t quite work (though honestly I think what they did animate suffered in that department too, it may just be because I know what’s been cut but the LSW movie felt to me very much like a story missing it’s ending). Gora member Red did mention a few years back in a tweet that the animated part of K wasn’t done yet but they’ve never clarified since, which makes me think he was just speaking in a ‘we hope’ capacity versus actual concrete plans. There’s also the question of if Gora is even still working with GoHands after the whole plagiarism debacle — for those not in the loop on that one, GoHands was set to animate an adaptation of CLAMP’s Tokyo Babylon, only for it to get pulled just months before release because it turned out GoHands had basically straight up copied the outfits the characters were wearing in the website profiles from I believe some fashion influencers. This is apparently not the first time GoHands has done that, I know I saw a couple images floating around Twitter from Scard and even K itself that were clearly copied by GoHands from other places. While there’s no way to know for sure if this has affected the relationship between GoHands and Gora it is possible, especially since Gora’s new series Ayaka is being handled by a different studio (which could just mean they wanted a change but you never know, especially since they did go to the trouble to get Angela back to sing the OP). For the moment unfortunately it seems highly unlikely we’ll get the latter half of the novel animated, luckily we at least have a complete manga and the very well-adapted stage play which is more than most of the other novels can say.

Love Me Right 1

⛓summary: You’re in your senior year of high school. But you oh so unfortunately had to move away. Which meant you would be spending your last year of high school at a new school. Luckily you’ve done some research on this school and from what you’ve heard, you’d be in for an interesting year.

January 24th

Walking into a new school is not as cliche as the movies make it out to be. You woke up in your new house to your mother telling you not to be nervous. But that was about it for the typical ‘you’re going to a new school routine’. You dressed typically regular. It was late January after all so you had to be mindful. Winter was your favorite season behind fall. You liked layering and looking fashionable while doing it. The only thing was that this school was a preparatory private school so there was a uniform. No problem right? Your last school didn’t have a uniform, but it did have a lot of rules so basically it was no different. You wore your white button up shirt with the school logo and the plaid blue skirt. To make it your own, you wore the Gucci sweater your dad got you last Christmas. You wore white knee high socks and your new Gucci boots to match. Looking in the mirror, you looked like a spoiled kid but you were just well off. Your parents were both surgeons and you were the only child. So maybe spoiled was exactly what you were.

The school was huge, but fairly similar to your old school. It was in an old fashioned building built much like a castle. The typical rich private school look and feel. You were pretty popular at your old school. Not in the ‘bitchy popular girl that everyone hates but they still kiss your ass’ type of popular. But you were a dancer and organized a lot of clubs and such for your school. You weren’t student body president because you didn’t care for that title. You just wanted reform and you got it. But being in a new school would be a fresh start, not that you needed it. You were happy at your old school, but it was boring. Lucky for you this school is rumored to be an interesting one for many reasons. One you were about to find out about.

You walked into your first class after going to your locker. You knew where everything was since you were invited to scope out the school the weekend prior. First class was biology, a favorite. You walked in and your professor, a rather old guy, gave you the cutest old man smile. Old people were a weakness of yours. You were so focused on the cute little old man, you didn’t even realize all the 37 kids staring at you. Yes, 37. Your entire senior class had this biology class. It was for 2 hours just as it would be in college. Regular high schools didn’t seem to do this but private schools did.

“Ah our new pupil to brighten the everlasting 37! Everyone this is Y/N. She’ll be joining us all the way from...?” the old man asked.

“Stonebridge sir. And call me Moe, it’s a nickname I’ve gotten used to.” you said. He smiled and nodded before facing the class.

“All the way from Stonebrigde, everyone this is Moe. Tell me Moe, where does that name come from?” he said sitting on his desk. He was a cool old dude.

“I’ve been a fan of Marilyn Monroe for a long time because of my mother. And when I was little, I couldn’t pronounce Marilyn Monroe so I’d say Mary Moe. And here I am, Moe.” you said. The smile on the old mans face was adorable.

“Well I can tell you’ve got character Moe. Thank you for sharing with us. You can take a seat anywhere, if there are any.” he joked. Old mans got jokes.

You finally look to the class and see all eyes on you. You can’t tell if they are bad looks, they were all so...stoic. You looked around for an empty seat and spotted 3. One between two girls in the very front. Another next to a small boy on the far right. And another in front of a boy on the far left. Looking at your options, the girls was a no. And being on the far right meant getting out of the class last. So the best option was in front of the orange haired boy. You walked over and sat down. Next to you was a another boy, silver hair and a slender tall figure with broad shoulders. The desks were connected by two’s so you figured he’d be your partner in experiments and such.

The professor started his lesson so you got out your laptop and opened up your notes to follow along. You were caught up with what they were doing; most schools follow the same curriculum so you were at the right pace.

“Nice sweater, Moe.” said the boy next to you. You turned to him and saw him staring at your sweater. You looked down at the sudden lost of what you were wearing.

“Thanks.” you replied. It was an odd interaction but you gave him credit for trying to make you comfortable. He shifted in his seat a bit. His posture was already straight so not much changed.

“I’m Sehun. Welcome to Elyxion Private School.” he said. His tone was fake cheery but his expression was still very stoic. You didn’t know how to take the welcome.

“Um...thanks.” you replied rather on the fence. He could tell as he looked over at you. Then the boy with dark brown hair that sat behind him leaned forward to whisper between you two.

“He’s not much of a talker, mostly just an insanely attractive boy.” he said. You tuned to see his face and saw him smirking at you.

“I’m Chanyeol. You can call me Chan, Yeol, Loey, whatever.” he continued. Chanyeol seemed to be a bright kid, fairly talkative to new people. You liked the effort.

“Hi Chanyeol.” you said laughing a little. He smiled showing an impressive set of pearly whites. You were interrupted from your admiring of fine dental care by the boy next to Chanyeol, the one sitting behind you, clearing his throat.

“Since we are clearly not paying attention to the class, why don’t I introduce myself now. I’m Baekhyun, your dashing, charming, hilarious football captain.” he smirked. Baekhyun, the football captain. Said a lot.

“Hi Baekhyun the football captain.” you said faking impressed by twirling your finger in your hair before stopping. Chanyeol and Sehun choked as they tried to hold in their laughs.

“Why do they get polite greetings and I get that?” he said. The hurt evident in his tone. Chanyeol couldn’t stop laughing as his friend; obviously these three were friends, stared at him.

“Well they didn’t brag about themselves, football captain.” you said before turning back around. That was the end of the introduction conversation. Nice to know you were surrounded by a bunch of teenage boys.

February 2nd

First week and a half was great. You were still fairly to yourself but you learned A LOT since your first day. First day expectations are always thrown away after a while. People change and get over the ‘she’s a new girl’ act. One good thing is that your favorite class is biology. Professor Kim was an adorable old man with such a passion for science, it made him even more irresistible. But the down side to that class is the three boys that so graciously were the first people to speak to you. Those three boys, who did a damn good job playing coy and nice, were actually pretty popular and pretty much assholes. At least that’s what you’ve gathered. They seemed pretty nice and all. They were all on he football team; go figure. So the natural instinct of the infamous ‘jock’ mentality was bound to be apart of them. But what you found out later was that they are not only popular for their role on the team.

You were invited to a school event. Not really a school official event but basically a bunch of kids from your class we’re going to this diner that was rented out for the group. Apparently it’s a common thing and a famous spot for the students. It reminds you of a lot of high school shows and movies where there is that one hang out diner that everyone goes to that’s a retro type. It was exactly like that, the diner was called ‘Romantic Universe Diner’ and was a cute hang out spot. Anyways, you went since you had nothing better to do and your parents would be at work. There were about 20 kids there, not much and it made the diner more cozy feeling. You didn’t expect to see anyone you were familiar with there. You were only fairly familiar with about 5 people, 3 being Chanyeol, Sehun and Baekhyun. And what a surprise that they were there occupying their own booth.

“Moe!” you heard the voice of none other than Chanyeol call you. You looked over and saw them sitting waving you over. You walked over looking at your options; if you could find somewhere else to sit, you would. But alas you stood in front of their booth.

“A pleasant surprise seeing you here. Sit.” Baekhyun said scooting over and patting the spot next to him. You sat and took off your coat.

“Why is that surprising? It’s a diner.” you replied.

“Yea but you’re new and all and we figured you’d be home dwelling on missing your old school or something.” he said taking a fry and eating it.

“You figured? What are you just thinking about the new girl?” you joked. You joked sure, but you were a little curious if he meant it that way.

“I mean yea. What else would we be doing?” Chanyeol said. He said it so calmly, like it wasn’t at all a little creepy. You furrowed your brow at him but before you could say anything, a girl came up to the booth. You’d never seen her before but she had to have gone to your school.

“Hey boys.” she said. She was pretty. But you could already tell the type of girl she was, a groupie if you will. Her shirt was a little too tight and her cleavage was on full display. The way her body moved all sensual like was more than telling of her. You weren’t one to judge but you were fairly good at reading the obvious.

“Hey Minsoo. Back already?” Chanyeol said. His expression clearly annoyed.

“Well Paris was fun but not as fun as you.” she said tapping his nose. He faked a smile and peeked over at you, catching Minsoo’s attention. Once she saw you her posture straightened and she crossed her arms.

“Already found a new toy?” she bit out at you. You laughed out of habit. It was your natural response to things like that. Bitchy people acting as if you were beneath them.

“I’ve only been gone a week and you’ve already got a new piece of trashy ass?” she said clearly annoyed by your lightheartedness. A new piece of ass? So they were as you expected, fuckboys.

“It’s not like that Minsoo. You’ll always be our piece of ass. Don’t feel threatened, it’s not a good look on you.” Sehun said. Sehun, the quiet boy, completely caught you off guard.

“Oh please, everything looks good on me. Just as good as nothing.” she smirked before looking at you with pure disgust and walking away. As if she had anyone to look at that way other than herself. And you were now sat with three very comfortable boys who don’t even care that you were just completely caught off guard.

“What the hell was that?” you whispered. It was to yourself but to them as well.

“What?” Baekhyun said trying to feed you a fry for some reason. You pushed his hand away and glared at him.

“What? The dumb bimbo that just called me a ‘new toy’.” you said. They were calm of course, guys didn’t care about this type of thing but there was something you were clearly oblivious to.

“We corrected her. You’re not our new toy, unless you want to be.” Baekhyun said trying to feed you again.

“Why is that such a surprise to you? Unless you didn’t like that we denied you.” Chanyeol said squinting at you. What on earth did that mean?

“I have known you for a week and a half. Stop trying to feed me Baekhyun. And you didn’t ‘deny’ me anything. I didn’t ask to be your ‘toy’. I didn’t even know you were that fucking gross.” you said pushing Baekhyun away from you and getting up. You put on your coat and said one more thing before walking away.

“You guys put on a great front. I honestly thought you were cool dudes.” you said and walked out of the diner. And now you weren’t so sure your cliche movie parallels weren’t so cliche. This was just like a teen movie.

So my Harry Potter themed  Afternoon Tea  has come and gone. The most immersive and most expensive Tea i have done to date. It took the longest to prepare for the decor and foods and hopefully is the most elaborate to date.

I visited the  Harry Potter Studio tour on Thursday for the 1st time and did pick up some wizarding world items to enhance the Tea for the sweets challenge. The props alone for this Tea have made it the most expensive to date and find how much at the end of the blog.

Just  like the films it takes many people to make it all happen, and would like to thanks my parents and also partner for their help in the decor and filming on the day. It took most of the 2nd half of the week to do the decor, prepare the props and plan, shop and bake/prepare the treats on offer.

The Tea has been in the planning for over a year, but on paper mainly, since i was visiting the Studio Tour the same week i decided to end the week with the Tea.

I searched the internet and many of Pinterest posts for inspiration for  treats and foods to make alongside my original ideas. I have never read the books but seen the films. A lot of the references i found came from the books and small snippets from the movies. I wrote them all down and done a shortlist and came up with my menu. I was happy with all i did but you always want more. I ran out of space on the table  I need a long banquet table !

SETTING THE SCENE

Whilst planning i came up with the name Platform 9 Tea/4 as my backdrop was to be the Hogwarts Express. I already had a trolley from my market stalls so used that with some loaded up luggage to set the scene I wanted a cage for Hedwig but knew it would be a waste getting it for a one off, so found an adorable but expensive Hedwig from Platform 9 3/4 shop online  for £35 originally £45 and the biggest one they make and exclusive to the shop also.  The backdrop came from Ebay as per my others.

I saw the Hogwarts letter pack in Sainsburys and decided to make my own Acceptance letters and also brought a wax sealer online and made 20 to hang on a wall to set the scene further. I made some floating Candles from hot glue and Paper towel holders and tealights and hung from the ceiling. These were all hung with invisible thread so did indeed appear to be floating besides the obvious sellotape mark on the ceiling.

I had the idea also to have Hogwarts on the table  and that came in 3d puzzle form. I was lucky to win 2 auctions on eBay hoping all the pieces were there! it took me 5 days to complete both of them myself and 1 piece was missing. I paired them with my Lego like Harry Potter Mini figures and think they went great together even if the scale is somewhat out lol. I had imagined this in the centre of the table and  cake stands on each end, but was naive and it had to go at the far end of the table but looked good anyway.

  SORTING HAT

I do have one of the original talking sorting Hats but it doesn’t work, i saw Argos had a sale on the new version for £17.49 i got it as they are usually £40+ within a week or so it was back to normal price so glad i got it. I used it as a prop and to sort everyone into their Houses before we begun the Tea.

    THE TEA

I was lucky to get hold of the Harry potter Teapots, 1 from Primark and 1 from eBay( from primark) and the House crest Mugs these were all reasonable compared to most around. I found a Round Marauders map Beach towel ( yes round) i used as a tablecloth with my Black cloth underneath. I knew i wanted a Birdcage cake stand for the Tea and found one on Amazon using my vouchers i got 2 and £30 off. I did not try my plates on it and last minute figured the big plates would not fit, so had to use the side plates as the stand plates and big plates as our plates to eat off

I just had a choice of Loose leaf plain Tea and regular Tea for this Tea.

MUSIC

My Dad is the sound man and he had the Harry Potter Soundtrack from the films playing in the Background which created some ambiance.

  THE FOOD

After gathering references and ideas it took 3 days plus of preparation to make it all happen with all the sweets and savories enough to feed Dumbledoores army!

Pumpkin Pasties – These are mentioned as being eaten on the Hogwarts express and no mention of sweet or savoury, a lot of recipes made them Pumpkin Pie type fillings. I saw some savoury i made mine into Curried Pumpkin which were really nice.

Their was endless possibilities for sweet items and i whittled it down to several, haa i still had loads.

Golden Snitch Cake ball Truffles – Sprayed gold and complete with Rice paper wings.

Treacle Tarts – Harry`s favorite apparently who knew?

Hagrids Rock Cakes – A definite improvement on Hagrids version these mini Rock cakes were great.

Harry`s Birthday Cake – I made a small Vegan Chocolate Cake complete with Strawberry Pink icing and a rustic message ” Happee Birthdae Harry” with the crack down the middle.

Lemon Sherbet Eclairs – Filled with Vanilla Cream and topped with Lemon Sherbet icing and crumbled Sherbet sweets dust.

ButterBeer mini Cupcakes – If you have never had Butter beer it is a cross between a cream soda and Butterscotch topped with a cream like top layer. To replicate this i made a Butterscotch flavour sponge topped with Butterscotch buttercream and coloured yellow.

Chocolate Frogs– right from the start on the Train these were a definite to add to the Tea. I made my own in some moulds with Rice Crispies/Coco pops pieces inside. typically they contain a Holographic wizard Cards in their boxes.

Philosophers Scones – Love the name i found online. I topped my Scones with a lightening scar for added effect.

I recorded the Tea live, but much to my horror afterwards found once the tablet fell the sound had cut out after 9 mins!

Luckily my partner had made his own videos and i borrowed them from him allowing the whole thing to be relived in short clips. I always film them via Facebook live and with a new tripods thought this would be okay. Tripod needs sorting out for next time seemed to be top heavy with my tablet resting on it. Happy with the combined footage

SWEETS CHALLENGE

As part of the Tea i wanted to have a Bertie Botts sweet challenge afterwards ( The disgusting flavours) and also take the chance to try some other Harry Potter inspired  Sweets. I got from Universal studios the original Frog and the studio tour here i got the rest of the Honeydukes Sweets and around other places. I looked at reviews of some and picked the ones which got the best scores. Some for what they was i left. I was lucky to get some cheap and discounted in Tkmaxx in a hamper bundle for £5

 SO HOW WAS THEY?

The Bertie Botts Bean challenge  we picked 3 Beans each and from the reactions we all got mostly disgusting ones. I got Grass and Toothpaste which tasted like deep heat lol. I mixed them in with Bean Boozled which have nice and nasty flavours.

The Chocolate frog in box from the states is Big and fills the box but however is American Chocolate! so could not eat much of that for it is not the best eating Chocolate.

The Puffed Rice Chocolate frog with Cards were also not that great and i could not believe the size of them once opened compared to the size of the packet. Disgraceful for the price.

The Exploding Pineapple & Orange Bonbons in White Chocolate were very nice but not much fizz with the Popping Candy for any of us.

Fizzing whizzbees – I liked the Chocolate shaped like Bees but again not much of a whizz or Fizz, think it must have flown away.

Mint Chocolate Toads – Dark Chocolate and extremely strong Mint taste, okay but a bit overpowering for most of us.

Jelly slugs- various flavours and small little Chewy gummy sweets these were okay.

Gringotts Chocolate Coins – Come in a little sack with an emblem on it, the Chocolate was okay on these a novelty more than anything.

Lemon sherbets – i got these from Tesco they are nice just plain Sherbets

It was an eventful evening and after such a lot of planning it came to an end. I invited my work colleague and friend Sharon to participate in the Tea rather than watch it from fb live. Hope she enjoyed her time on Platform 9 tea/4 and she went home with a goodie bag of treats and souvenirs.

This was the most expensive tea i have done in the 2 years i have been doing this project for fun. it came in at the cost of WAIT FOR IT!  £356.30 

The cost of food was low compared to the Props, Teaware and other  items that made this whole Tea what it was. Of course i have the props and plushies to keep for another time. Some i will sell on the things i do not need to keep. The rest will stay for the return to Hogwarts one day.
