she wakes up with a start. the last thing leonie remembers is talking to the girls about life, and how goddamn insecure she was about her place within it. they all seemed to share similiar sentiments. which wasn’t exactly good, but it was somewhat comforting to know she wasn’t alone. she looks around and nothing looks familiar...except for the girls. “josie...” she nudges her very gently, before doing the same to both stasia and flora too, wincing a little as she attempts to take in her surroundings. she could’ve sworn she was at the bar beforehand. josie rubs her eyes, standing up to take a look around the room. “---where are we?” / @lucidlunar​

he hadn’t been sure he’d come, especially after having such a heated argument with his soon-to-be ex wife. but he realised he couldn’t let roger and enzo down. they really were the sweetest men he’d ever met in his life, and whilst he envied them in certain ways, he adored them in so many others. he’s downing his drink at the bar, needing all the dutch courage he can get, when he feels someone standing next to him. he doesn’t glance at them right away, mainly because he doesn’t think he’ll see anyone he knows. “...pretty great party, isn’t it?” he murmurs, small talk would take his mind off of his mess of a life, potentially. / @lucidlunar​

when becoming a dad, he’d vowed to become a proactive one. that included every aspect of their lives, including school. of course, marshall has done a few school trips already with teddy so he knew what to expect, but this was definitely the first major one with fliss. he’s packed her and his bag together, made sure she has a lunch that excites her and he’s pretty much got himself the same one so she feels like they’re matching, and whilst he’s not sure he loves the idea of being surrounded by other snotty nosed children, who hadn’t been taught how to cover their mouths when they cough and sneeze, he is excited to make more memories with his little girl. he’s staring aimlessly at the coach, waiting in line to allow him and fliss to be registered. he’s heard a lot about her teacher so he has high expectations, obviously. / @lucidlunar​
