As the elevator opened, Foras cringed at the sight in front of him. The once neat penthouse, was now trashed and dirty.

Lucifer was slumped on the couch, bottles scattered around him. Some half drunk, others laying on the floor. He couldn't spot a single glass. He'd never seen Lucifer not drink out of a nice glass.

As he took another step, Lucifer didn't even look up. Didn't even speak. He could see Lucifer's hair was unkempt. It stuck out every which way. His shirt was wrinkled and unbuttoned in a way that wasn't hot. Wasn't him. Wasn't Lucifer.

"Oh, Luci..." Foras's voice was soft, as he got closer to the couch. "Luci, what happened to you?"

Lucifer tore his eyes from the bottle, or perhaps from something Foras didn't see. Either way, when Lucifer finally looked at him, he blinked and then looked away.

"Go away." He rasped. "I don't want to see you. Why'd you come back?"

"Lucifer, I love you. Of course I came back."

"You shouldn't have."

Foras sat by him, going to hold his hand. "Would you have stayed away?"

Lucifer didn't answer. His heart hurt feeling Foras's hand in his. So soft compared to how sharp he felt. Lucifer turned his body, and fell towards him.

Somehow, Foras knew what he wanted. He hummed softly, and let go of his hand to hug Lucifer. Lucifer's breath got heavy and he hugged Foras tighter. He wouldn't let go this time.

this is so fucking cute im giggling kicking my feet..

honestly. i dont think he ever really experiences almost any kind of attraction before fred weasley, romantic or sexual… his entire world is his family, especially his relationship with his father-mother, and learning everything there is to know about being heir.. he knows he’ll enter an arranged marriage eventually.. there just isn’t a lot of spare time in his life for romantic and/or idealistic notions.. which turns him into the most repressed boy in the World.. he only has surface level friendships that are all based on the fact that he’s a black, and no genuine relationships during his early years….. it’s all about blood and aristocratic networking ..

he never sits down and ponders why he hasn’t been attracted girls before.. and he never ever considers that it might mean that he would be interested in boys instead. he knows he’s going to marry a good pureblood woman and that’s that. it’s as if his entire life is happening on autopilot and he’s barely even present ….

and then there’s FRED… and i think fred scares the shit out of him. all the feelings he has about him, the butterflies, the nervousness, the heat in his cheeks, the anxiety, the giddiness. it’s all sooooo scary. and he’s not sure he likes it very much and i think it takes him a while to figure out it’s a crush. because he’s never had one before !!!! <- and i think that can trigger some internalized homophobia. not even that he’s homophobic really, i mean he struggles with wolfstar for a while but not because they’re two men. and he’s probably even aware of his mothers affairs with women im sure… but he also KNOWS, from his upbringing, that being gay is bad. you can take the heir our of the house, but you can’t take the heir out of the heir. he’s unlearning a Lot. and a lot of the things he’s unlearning is the role he was born into, and everything that came with it, and all of the duties he was meant to fulfill. like being man of the house, having a wife, even having a family. it’s a lot to let go of, even if he didn’t want most of it, i still think he wanted some of it. i think there were aspects of being heir that he really did like. there was a certain certainty that came with it. his life was already mapped out, decided. he had respect without having to earn it. he didn’t have to think about himself, his own desires, his own wants. and now he wants a Boy….. SCARY !!!!!

i think it makes him panic……. and he would LOVE an am i gay quiz. he wants directions and for someone else to tell him who he is… he’s all alone now !!!! free to explore life on his own and he doesn’t entirely want to. not in the same enthusiastic way i imagine sirius sr did, even if he also grieved. he’s my scared little boy !!!!!!!
