on my knees for u….what thoughts about fleur

hello my beloved!!!!!

me and kara got into her narrative in goblet of fire, and how everything we’re percieving about her is from harry’s pov. like i remember reading the books and being so like.. shocked ?? when it was revealed she was engaged to bill. because it didn’t really make sense to how she was introduced, and molly sort of mirrors that confusion with her anti fleur agenda. it’s such a leap !!! harry views her as this representation of feminity but in the weak sense, disregarding her as a component almost immediately. she’s so effortlessly beautiful and lovely and girls hate her and boys objectify her so people (harry) literally forgets that she was the chosen one from her school out of everyone who entered their names into the goblet !! + contrary to the film’s depiction of beauxbatons, it isn’t actually a girls school in the books. but still, harry looks at her and all he sees is girl. like harry doesn’t even really speak to her in gof and everything we know about her so far is his observations, men fawning over her how beautiful she is and girls hating her. <- harry your sexism is showing..

and then at the burrow, harry actually gets to know fleur first hand, and i think that’s why it feels like such a leap narratively that she ends up with bill. because it doesn’t fall in line with how harry thought of her in gof.

i think fleur has a lot of rage on the inside, very fiery and a lot more competitive and more of a threat than people actually understand. she’s canonically a quidditch player and still she’s described as this frail beautiful thing that’ll surely break if you’re too rough. people don’t view her as a person even, which is also interesting because she’s quite literally part creature !!! in all honesty, she’s probably a lot like book!ginny and the two of them would probably get along really well if ginny’s could get past her own internalized misogyny

which is why i think fleur & butch post-war ginny end up having an affair behind bills back :~) 💖💖

well tmos didn't acc begin as a divorce fic,, i was just forcing sirius to travel on a 15hr flight n be miserable n bitch n moan abt it n then i was like 'where's he going?' and then 'omg wht if theyre divorced?' 'omfgg the pandemic - he was in aus wasn't he....v sad.'

As the elevator opened, Foras cringed at the sight in front of him. The once neat penthouse, was now trashed and dirty.

Lucifer was slumped on the couch, bottles scattered around him. Some half drunk, others laying on the floor. He couldn't spot a single glass. He'd never seen Lucifer not drink out of a nice glass.

As he took another step, Lucifer didn't even look up. Didn't even speak. He could see Lucifer's hair was unkempt. It stuck out every which way. His shirt was wrinkled and unbuttoned in a way that wasn't hot. Wasn't him. Wasn't Lucifer.

"Oh, Luci..." Foras's voice was soft, as he got closer to the couch. "Luci, what happened to you?"

Lucifer tore his eyes from the bottle, or perhaps from something Foras didn't see. Either way, when Lucifer finally looked at him, he blinked and then looked away.

"Go away." He rasped. "I don't want to see you. Why'd you come back?"

"Lucifer, I love you. Of course I came back."

"You shouldn't have."

Foras sat by him, going to hold his hand. "Would you have stayed away?"

Lucifer didn't answer. His heart hurt feeling Foras's hand in his. So soft compared to how sharp he felt. Lucifer turned his body, and fell towards him.

Somehow, Foras knew what he wanted. He hummed softly, and let go of his hand to hug Lucifer. Lucifer's breath got heavy and he hugged Foras tighter. He wouldn't let go this time.

pansysirius friendship?? 👀👀

PANSYSIRIUS JR FRIENDSHIP ….

obviously i ran to kara immediately after the previous ask.. anyway!!! kara & i always agree that pansy comes from a loveless home where she’s the only daughter & the youngest of a bunch of older brothers. so her parents barely even raise her. they already have an heir, and a lots of spares. pansy is just a daughter and all they need to do is sell her off into a good marriage. <- this is why there’s talk about a pansydraco engagement. & this is how pansycissa happens. because pansy needs some *sylvia plath voice* older, wiser being to cry to. she talks to god but the sky is empty. more about pansycissa here !! it’s a very fucked up and intimate relationship that pansy wears like a nasty scar the rest of her life <- which is also why hard times by ethel cain is THE pansycissa song….

so. what if the pansycissa of it all ruins dracos and pansys friendship. she cant be around him.. for a very long time. because of his mother and the mess of it all. because he has his mothers eyes. he’s her best friend and she cant stand to be around him. bring in sirius jr !!!! who also *sylvia plath voice* needs some older, wiser being to cry to. he talks to god but the sky is empty. he knows the type of abuse. intimately. the love-bombing and being singled out and isolated and punished. what if they’re the only two people who can truly understand each other.. they’re being abused by the same family, the tangled up mess of them, and pansysirius jr are the victims. two broken teenagers-barely-even-adults clinging to each other and healing together…… there’s something wrong with you that’s also wrong with me…
