I have read on FB girls saying that they loved SS and that it was not toxic and they did not see Sasuke trying to kill Sakura as bad because that is just drama. Sasuke is just a very cold and shy boy and Sakura loves him unconditionally and must learn to love him. I read that and I got very angry because it was young girls who think that is normal. It's sad.

That’s basically my pet-peeve with SasuSaku, despite being a shipper myself initially. Look, part 1 SasuSaku can be somewhat accepted. In its weird own way it can function on the basis of cold aloof boy x over extroverted girl. NOT SHY THO. 

Someone with Sasuke’s caliber of pride is anything but shy. His ego was off the roofs, something even Kakashi comments on, so they can cut me the crap with shy. Nope.

The SasuSaku dynamics is built on DARK ASPECTS!

Look at Sakura in most interactions with Sasuke.

And this isn’t the whole thing. I only pulled some snippets from my Narusaku symbolism 3.2 post that deals with the darkness aspect.

That’s Sasuke. And Sakura is the flower of the story. What does darkness do? Konan told us.

And LOL at Sakura getting strangled the same way Obito did it with Konan.

So these little girls can cut me some crap because Kishimoto has been so clear in his portrayal of this aspect that I these young ladies don’t have a clue what they’re talking about.

And if you’re an adult and condone this, OH I am so judging you! This shit is NOT OKAY.

I’ve always said it... When it’s about how bad Sasuke has treated Sakura he’s excused because oh, PTSD from what Itachi did, he is was mentally tortured.

Well excuse you very much, but isn’t what he’s doing to Sakura THE SAME GODDAMN THING? Decide already.

Or it’s an excuse just when it serves your purpose to excuse him of his actions?

Don’t get me wrong, I pity Sasuke as a character because he didn’t want her EITHER. He was adamant in his statement through the very end.

They keep using that annoying thing.

It went from calling her annoying for being clueless, to calling her annoying in an endearing way granted, to DOWNRIGHT HATE but these lil kids think that omg, tru lub.

SasuSaku has fucked-up, pardon my language, the definition of a normal relationship.

And people wonder why I have a problem with it? Oh apparently it’s because i’m “butthurt” or god knows what other names.

No, it’s because big media portrays shit like this as being okay when IT’S NOT! 

It’s degrading, abusive and demeaning to any human being. Period.

I don’t care about what lies they need to tell themselves. The reality of the facts is DIFFERENT in the real world. AND fictional, as well.

Because this relationship has been portrayed as a NO NO throughout the manga, but they CHOSE to see it otherwise.

I honest to God hope they never get to live this in real life, cuz it ain’t pretty.

They’ll eventually end up paying with their own sanity.
