Aether Foundation is a totally not shady corporation and Lusamine is a very good person that people can absolutely trust 👍

While I love Vi's team, the fact that he has a full team doesn't really fit with story I created for him anymore 😔 Now his Pokémon are only Moss the Crobat and Queen the Milotic.

Vi can create portals but because she's kinda bad at using this power she can't really create large ones. The portals are only big enough to put her arm through them.

She also doesn't really hide her ability so there are some pictures of her and the portals around the internet. 

Lusamine somehow finds those pictures, sees a teen with portal powers and is like "I can use them". So she sends someone to seek Vi out so that she can speak to them. When this person finds Vi Lusamine talks about this special program Aether Foundation is doing where they find people with special abilities to help them learn control and stuff. The fact that they can travel through Alola is just a nice little bonus. And while Vi is kinda suspicious she does want to learn to control her portal powers better, so she accepts. 

When she arrives Lusamine does what she can do best - manipulate children. She wants to see if Vi's portals can be used to access ultra beasts.

"books-are-my-life-stuff: Really? I thought Nemona is not really popular especially in the west? Because people have been calling her "possessive", "weird", "stalker", "yandere", all that stuff. Rika, meanwhile, has been consistently getting great reception. She, in fact, ranked 1st for being the character with the highest amount of self-insert contents not long after ScarVi was released, beating other characters from other anime/manga/game, not just Pokemon. Arven followed pretty close behind."

I'm going to say something without certainty that you'd get what I'm saying right away: Nemona is to Pokemon what Camilla is to Fire Emblem, but significantly less drastic. She has people who absolutely hate her, but those people suck, and the broad majority seem to like her quite well, especially if this month's Masters pulls are any indication. She was pulled more than anything else per Reddit responses, to say nothing of how many new players came in because of the announcement she was being added. I'm kinda surprised to hear Rika's that popular, because to be honest, I expected her popularity to be like a Tumblr specific thing. Arven being up there makes a lot of sense though. The friend group has a lot of attention.

It's possible, but given how hard they marketed Nemona, it's gonna be really weird if they only release Nemona, and then have like four months of nothing before any additional Paldea drops. New players coming in for that fresh focus are not going to stay if this is just testing the waters. This is a move they put too much into to be uncertain about. Hisui can be a little uncertain. It still feels like a spinoff more than main series to me, and since they're wrapping Hisui into Sinnoh, there's contention within the region. Volo and likely an Ingo alt are assured, but I'm not sure how much they'll put into those two compared to the current Paldea draw they're going for.

The two had been acquaintances for a long time having known about eachother and met eachother on multiple occasions but they didn't really become friends until 2021 sometime after Kingdom when Rin's bandmate han had started to develop a crush on lua after a lot of begging and irritation from the male Rin decided to be friends with Lua and get close to her to help him get with her. They started talking with lua's big sister's nature automatically making her take Rin in, they spent a lot of time talking about their bandmates and what a hassle it is to be in a group full of boys especially such loud ones. The two only really got close one night when they started reminiscing about their childhood in China and realised how similar they were with their likes and dislikes also realising that at one point both of them had attended the same pre-school and have a class photograph together.

The two hang out often at night especially when Rin can't sleep, she likes to text Lua because she knows the other is a perpetual night owl and will keep her company. They have a lot of sleepovers as well sleepovers where they just make the most ridiculous outfits out of eachothers clothes and jewelry and have a mini runway since it's a passion for both of them it's interesting to see what they come up with. The fans and locals have a lot of pictures of the two going out in public in like the weirdest outfits ever, it's 3.45 am in the the night and suddenly you'll see two girls walking on the street one wearing a neon green trench coat with leapord print body suit and the other in a fur overcoat with denim overalls and floral rainboots. Clicking pictures is a must! Lua has given rin an official course on how to click the best candids (Rin didn't learn a thing all she remembered going home was that lua looks really good when she's explaining something). They have so many pics in the same locations that there was a time when news sites (koreaboo) suspected (tried to create unnecessary drama) that the two of them were dating. Their relationship is one of comfort where the two can just relax without worries rambling away in their native tongues about topic unrelated to anything. The moon and the star they truly are a spectacle to view.

How did they meet? (Through the survival show trauma bonding gc sstg for short) Is a question the public asks themselves most often no one really knows how they met just one day they posted photos of eachother. In all reality Rin had seen all those tweets saying how similar Hero looked to Lee know and decided to text him for shits and giggles even they both don't know how they got this close.

This man is her child, he is one of the two people bestowed with this honour does she care he's older than her older brother?? No. Together they are quite silly... In one word, he's always teasing her, pranking her looking for every opportunity to scare her shitless and she tries to get him back but he's sadly mastered the art of getting away. Really tho with eachother they can nurture their inner child's both of them had been forced to grow up quickly for different reasons but still being with eachother is healing in a sense to them. That is not to say that they don't have serious conversations ofcourse they do, they give eachother advice on all matters Rin goes to him constantly on advice that she can't just ask from her group mates being one of her closest male friends he gets the awful amazing opportunity to listen about all her relationships, the problems and she his. He is so mischievous around her probably the most he is around anyone you really get to see his childish side come out when with her, and if she isn't participating in his shenanigans she is worrying about him trying to make sure he doesn't hurt himself physically or emotionally!

These two met backstage one time when they crashed into eachother, angel who was learning french at the time subconsciously apologised in french which made Rin also respond instinctively in french, the two stared at eachother for a bit before bursting out laughing loudly, the two just stood there and talked for the longest time until they got scolded by their managers, they exchanged numbers and then promised to text later which is how their friendship blossomed.

The silliest most stupid duo no joke, they post dance tutorials together but it's 90% them failing at being normal human. Ballet sessions!! ballet sessions !!! ballet sessions!! so many ballet sessions since rin has professional training and it is something that angel is interested in they constantly get together to do that, they have been spotted at eachothers company so often news sites have reported it. them going live together is a certified recipe for chaos somehow they cause more noise together than with their groups it's actually concerning. the cutest littlest people ever I love them so much they're pookies !!!. physical touch so much hugs and touching constantly you would wonder how they don't get tired of eachother, in the same sense they're so well versed with eachother they actually tune their actions it's scary. They do all of the group challenges together all of them they have dibs on eachother. Rin has a lot of respect for angel the way she carries herself and the way she potrays her personality being so strong yet soft it's super cool. Angel influences rin to bring out a more baddie style of hers, their styles are pretty contradictory since rin wears colors all year round and angels spring outfits are less colourful but it works out for them since it creates a pretty nice visual. they also cuss solely in french as one of the first study materials rin gave angel was an extensive list of french cuss words... goals tbh. all in all their relationship is very silly and cutesy and fun, they get too just be themselves without the worry of others.

You really think people are buying into this whole goody-twoshoes thing you got going on, huh?”  Faba couldn’t help but sneer at the man he thought he’d never see again.

“So far so good.” The other responded with a relaxed smile. “Can’t say the same for you. You should hear people talk about you. Either you changed a lot.. or they don’t know you at all.”

Faba bit the inside of his cheek, why was he here? Why was he in his office. Didn’t he have anything better to do than to bother him at his place of work. The only place he knew he would be safe. Safe from his past,  a past he tried to desperately to forget but it somehow always caught up with him. It’s not like he didn’t try to better his life after the whole thing. It’s just that fate seemed to have other plans for him.  

“You’re working late by the way.” The other continued, filling the silence in the room. “Is she okay with that?”  That caused Faba took look up, his icy blue eyes meeting yellow ones. He stared daggers at him before looking away, his eyes lingering a moment to his desk, where he kept a picture of her hidden. “She’s gone.”

Perhaps Faba was seeing things but he could swear he could see the ghost of a satisfied grin on the other’s face when he looked up. “My condolences. But this explains so much..”  He put his hands on the desk, leaning down and looking at Faba. “The whole attitude, the fact that you took this job despite everything you said and promised yourself and her-.” The loud bang of Faba’s chair falling over as he stood up silenced the other. The burning feeling of grief and loss made him feel sick.

“I want to be you when I grow up.” Faba said, bitterly. He knew full well the man before him was close in age, he never bothered to ask and if he ever did he probably forgot about it by now. “Not caring about others, only doing stuff for others if helps your own selfish needs. I shoud’ve been a selfish asshole like you- it would have saved me so much trouble. You’re a grade A role model..”

“Well you always knew she was a liability.” The other said dryly.

The familiar taste of blood filled Faba’s mouth. He bit too hard on his cheek but he didn’t care. Instead he kept looking at the other, enraged.

“You are no better than I am. You come in here, with your holier than thou attitude. We were both there- We saw what he did. What they did and we did nothing.”

“We were young.” The other defended. It sounded rehearsed. It probably was.

“That’s not an excuse. It never was. I tried hiding behind it too but I couldn’t. I tried to make things better.” Years of pent up emotion came pouring out. Like someone had opened a valve. “I tried to use what I learned- what I saw- to help people. I didn’t do anything bad at first. But then she died and they offered me a chance to bring her back. They ask me to play God for them but I can’t bring myself to attempt it on people. It’s wrong and she’s insane. Her kids had every right in leaving her. And I thought- I thought that if I pretended to hate all of them... They would have no reason to come back here.” He sighed and realised he was shaking. “What I know, is going to die with me. I was blinded by grief when I first did what I did. I shouldn’t have done it and I know that now. I may be lonely but it’s better that way.”

He stood up straight. “This way I can’t be tempted in giving away what I know. Like Ghetsis tempted me... Like Lusamine tempted me and like you are trying to tempt me, Colress.”
