The two had been acquaintances for a long time having known about eachother and met eachother on multiple occasions but they didn't really become friends until 2021 sometime after Kingdom when Rin's bandmate han had started to develop a crush on lua after a lot of begging and irritation from the male Rin decided to be friends with Lua and get close to her to help him get with her. They started talking with lua's big sister's nature automatically making her take Rin in, they spent a lot of time talking about their bandmates and what a hassle it is to be in a group full of boys especially such loud ones. The two only really got close one night when they started reminiscing about their childhood in China and realised how similar they were with their likes and dislikes also realising that at one point both of them had attended the same pre-school and have a class photograph together.

The two hang out often at night especially when Rin can't sleep, she likes to text Lua because she knows the other is a perpetual night owl and will keep her company. They have a lot of sleepovers as well sleepovers where they just make the most ridiculous outfits out of eachothers clothes and jewelry and have a mini runway since it's a passion for both of them it's interesting to see what they come up with. The fans and locals have a lot of pictures of the two going out in public in like the weirdest outfits ever, it's 3.45 am in the the night and suddenly you'll see two girls walking on the street one wearing a neon green trench coat with leapord print body suit and the other in a fur overcoat with denim overalls and floral rainboots. They have so many pics in the same locations that there was a time when news sites (koreaboo) suspected (tried to create unnecessary drama) that the two of them were dating. Their relationship is one of comfort where the two can just relax without worries rambling away in their native tongues about topic unrelated to anything. How did they meet? In all reality Rin had seen all those tweets saying how similar Hero looked to Lee know and decided to text him for shits and giggles even they both don't know how they got this close.

This man is her child, he is one of the two people bestowed with this honour does she care he's older than her older brother?? No. Together they are quite silly... In one word, he's always teasing her, pranking her looking for every opportunity to scare her shitless and she tries to get him back but he's sadly mastered the art of getting away. Really tho with eachother they can nurture their inner child's both of them had been forced to grow up quickly for different reasons but still being with eachother is healing in a sense to them. That is not to say that they don't have serious conversations ofcourse they do, they give eachother advice on all matters Rin goes to him constantly on advice that she can't just ask from her group mates being one of her closest male friends he gets the awful amazing opportunity to listen about all her relationships, the problems and she his. He is so mischievous around her probably the most he is around anyone you really get to see his childish side come out when with her, and if she isn't participating in his shenanigans she is worrying about him trying to make sure he doesn't hurt himself physically or emotionally!

These two met backstage one time when they crashed into eachother, angel who was learning french at the time subconsciously apologised in french which made Rin also respond instinctively in french, the two stared at eachother for a bit before bursting out laughing loudly, the two just stood there and talked for the longest time until they got scolded by their managers, they exchanged numbers and then promised to text later which is how their friendship blossomed.

The silliest most stupid duo no joke, they post dance tutorials together but it's 90% them failing at being normal human. Ballet sessions!! ballet sessions !!! ballet sessions!! so many ballet sessions since rin has professional training and it is something that angel is interested in they constantly get together to do that, they have been spotted at eachothers company so often news sites have reported it. them going live together is a certified recipe for chaos somehow they cause more noise together than with their groups it's actually concerning. the cutest littlest people ever I love them so much they're pookies !!!. physical touch so much hugs and touching constantly you would wonder how they don't get tired of eachother, in the same sense they're so well versed with eachother they actually tune their actions it's scary. They do all of the group challenges together all of them they have dibs on eachother. Rin has a lot of respect for angel the way she carries herself and the way she potrays her personality being so strong yet soft it's super cool. Angel influences rin to bring out a more baddie style of hers, their styles are pretty contradictory since rin wears colors all year round and angels spring outfits are less colourful but it works out for them since it creates a pretty nice visual. they also cuss solely in french as one of the first study materials rin gave angel was an extensive list of french cuss words... goals tbh. all in all their relationship is very silly and cutesy and fun, they get too just be themselves without the worry of others.

Rin met Ivy in the dance room of JYP, It was late night and because of some system error they had both booked the dance room for the same time so they ended up bumping into eachother as they tried to open the door at the same time. Coincidentally there was another evaluations team who was practicing there and quite frankly the team looked like a mess so these two decided to be gracious and let the team use the practice room with no other available option they went ahead and grabbed a late night snack together and thus ended up becoming fast friends.

Their hangouts mainly consist of dressing up real fancy to take pictured and then going to some nearby convenience store eating snacks and gossiping. They make frequent appearance on each other's instagram stories and captions for photo credits. Rin gives competition to Yeonjun on who is Ivy's biggest fan atp. As soon as Ivy releases new music you know Rin is immediately going live to do a subtle album review (she likes every song all the time).

Rin's has always been a huge fan of seventeen especially Rosalie and she thought that getting to work with woozi on an I.O.I song was the peak of her fan experience but obviously not. Rosalie heard about Rin after fans left comments under her lives about she has to meet Rin because they're both females in big boy groups and they both lived in France for long periods of time. Rosalie did a bit digging into it and found multiple clips of Rin gushing about her and decided to be a good senior so she had Woozi arrange a meetup in jyp under the pretense of talking something about lyrics and went to surprise Rin, and that is how the two became friends.

These two don't meet all that often since both of their groups are extremely busy all the time so they tend to make do with text conversations and phone calls. They both have writing credits in eachothers solo songs and are constantly talking about featuring with eachother so much so that even the fans are aware now. When they talk, they talk only in french and they love it cause it's like a secret language and their extremely nosey members understand very little of it.

Rin has a secret mission to be friends with or atleast get to know all foreign idols so when she found about Maddie she pulled a few strings and had a friend of hers (Soobin from txt) ask his friend (Seunghan from riize) for Maddie's number and then she texted Maddie with the excuse that she had heard Maddie was a former ballet dancer and thought it'd be cool if they could bond over it, then they got to talking and are currently in the process of being friends.

They haven't met in real life as of yet due to schedule clashes and such issues but they text eachother frequently and can spend a long time just conversing with eachother about various topics!

Rin met Chaewon at paris fashion week for one of the shows. Rin noticed the girl just standing there awkwardly, she recognised her as one of the soloists that she had heard about and also remembered her being significantly young so she decided to approach her. Rin went up to her and just started talking to her as if they were old friends to not make her awkward, they exchanged numbers and decided to stay in touch even after pfw so that's how the friendship started.

Their pics clicked by fans at pfw went viral with many shocked to see the two interacting due to their contrasting energies but Rin's overly energetic behaviour causes Chaewon to get out of here shell a bit more whereas Chaewon helps Rin stop and just enjoy occaisionally.
