For the ask meme, au where wwx kills lxc at qiangpi path instead of jzx.
Or gender swap jc au.
Ok, so it took me a while to think this over, because there’s a lot here, and then talking it over with @demoiselledefortune I realized there’s even more than I thought! (still thinking about the genderswap jc one)
Also, poor, poor LWJ. 🙁 (LQR doesn't bear thinking about. That poor, poor man. I don't talk about LQR under the cut because it's too sad for me to contemplate.)
1) So the thing is, this isn’t a noticeably better accidental killing for WWX, because while the Lans may be less the powerhouse than the Jins, JGS will definitely try and use LXC’s death to turn against WWX. And it’s going to be stupidly easy, because LXC was a sect leader and the sworn brother of his son.
(I assume LXC was there because he was invited to JL’s 100 days ceremony and his passing there was a coincidence, while in canon he was already at Jinlintai. So maybe JZX is still in Jinlintai here, the confrontation happening earlier and thus before JZX departed; or JZX is here as well as he was in canon, and LXC was the one running late - in which case, JZX is alive and a witness and might speak up on WWX’s behalf at least to his wife and his BIL, at least to tell them that it seemed an accident. This turns out not to have much of an impact on the grand scale of things OR on JYL and JC’s understanding of what happened, bc they already trust WWX so much, but it does have an impact on JZX’s view of the world and himself. This is less about WWX than it is about politics in general and his father in specific. In that version he’s much more in-the-middle of things, much more aware of being personally dismissed. In that version there’s a chance he and JYL go live in LP.)
Besides the Jins, there’s also NMJ, who is a big fan of his sworn brothers not getting killed and of not shielding people from the consequences of their actions. Just putting it out there where we can see it. On the other hand, they’re not LXC’s most direct family. LWJ and the Lans are, so NMJ lets LWJ take point.
(There's a version of this prompt where NMJ qi-deviates when he hears about LXC's death. In that timeline should WWX get killed NHS' plans never feature bringing him back.)
2) Know for whom LXC dying instead of JZX changes things a lot, though? WQ and WN. When they decide to surrender themselves, they go to Cloud Recesses, not Jinlintai. LWJ and his sect I feel wouldn't punish WQ for LXC’s death. She wasn't there.
(WN, otoh, is very done for. There is no way GSL pulls a Jin to keep him around. He's a fierce corpse and the one who killed their sect leader at that. They execute him/lay his soul to rest. There's no further desacration of WN and that's probably the bitterest comfort WQ could hope for. WQ does try to shield WN when she realizes the Lans aren't planning on executing her, but she doesn't get that.)
WQ would easily get a promise of safety from LWJ for at least A-Yuan, probably Granny, maybe the others - on the sterner end of the scale for the adult cultivators. This is somewhat dependent on what JGS (and NMJ) are clamoring for but JGS wants the Stygian Seal more than he does the Wens and NMJ would be satisfied with the Lans supervising the fate of the Wen remnants. Besides, the most high-profile of the Wen remnants is WQ and she just surrendered herself. WN would say WWX isn’t responsible for LXC’s death, it was a freak resentful energy accident–
3) I think what LWJ does demand about WWX is... that WWX be given over to Gusu Lan. They can lock him up. And purify him of the resentful energy.
LWJ is in a frankly abysmal mental space - it’s only because his cultivation is so orthodox that he doesn't qi deviate. It’s all tearing him up, LXC’s death because of the guy LWJ has a crush on, LWJ’s want for WWX and LWJ’s wish that he could (imitate his father) bring someone back to CR and lock them up and LWJ suddenly being in the horrendous situation where he is imitating his father. The memory of the kiss is now a nightmare. It was always a mixed memory (how shameful, to lose control of himself thus - to take advantage of the one he loved - to lack even the courage to simply ask, either for the kiss, or at least for forgiveness) but now it makes him retch.
It's all twisted in the fact that LXC is dead, because of WWX. There can be nothing between LWJ and WWX now. Simply wishing there could be would be the worst betrayal.
(LWJ remembers the days of their youth, LXC’s delight and gentle teasing at LWJ’s inexplicable liking of WWX. The Water Abyss. And now LXC is dead, because of the boy he was so happy LWJ wanted for a friend. LXC always wanted LWJ to have friends, something akin to his own friendship with NMJ.)
0) (the Problem. The Problem is that I cannot see WWX staying in the Cloud Recesses if he's imprisoned there. If he wouldn't rather die at first, he will afterwards. LWJ thinks of his mother. If WWX dies LWJ would enter seclusion like his father once did. This isn’t something LWJ tells himself consciously.)
4) JC and JYL visit WWX in the Cloud Recesses while he's imprisoned there. JC hates LWJ for it, but I think he's self-aware enough to think “what if it had been Jiejie.” It’s hard to hate LWJ wholeheartedly.
5) WQ is in Cloud Recesses, too. She’ll never live outside the Cloud Recesses again, but it could have been far worse. She’s allowed time with A-Yuan (she is not in forced seclusion and neither is she A-Yuan’s mother but LWJ cannot let himself see them together, or else he starts to think of how she isn’t allowed to raise her kin herself.)
When it comes out *pretty damn early* that WWX doesn’t have a core, she’s the one who implies WZL got him.
(JC is in LWJ’s office clamoring, begging for WWX to be released into the care of YMJ in a hot minute after he finds out - which takes at least one or two visits, because no-one wrote to tell him, and it takes him asking a question about how getting WWX rid of resentful energy and not letting go when the answer’s too cagey to his taste for him to know. If it were just LWJ– but LWJ has elders. plus there’s also LXC’s sworn brothers to contend with; LWJ isn’t thinking of that, and JC will think of it later, after LWJ has refused to return WWX to YMJ.) JC is so so so angry at everyone involved - WWX for *lying to him*, why didn’t you *tell me*, I would have *helped* - WQ for hiding it from him AND not telling him when she told the Lans (to which she retorts that she isn’t exactly allowed a free correspondence. Hmph. Okay. JC allows that. WQ has negative scruples about lying to him about the core rn.) - LWJ for keeping WWX a prisoner here even though WWX is, is, WWX isn’t a cultivator anymore he’s a normal person let YMJ watch over him, let JC - even JYL for having something else in her life that she loves, that isn’t WWX locked up in another sect.
WQ is also the one who sees when WWX is seriously at risk of his life just fading away, and this time she tells JC: if WWX doesn’t get out, he will die.
The fic ends with WQ and JC breaking WWX out of the Cloud Recesses (it’s implied LWJ is looking the other way). WQ stays in CR, of course, but JC is taking WWX to Lotus Pier. There’s no plan for “later”.
#ask answered#mdzs#ship-wise there is liberal subtext about every variation of wwx-wq-lwj-jc#it is extremely probable that wwx leaves lotus pier after due to being entirely unable to deal with jc being stronger than him#and jc and lwj (and maybe possibly wq) fuck about it#maybe the jin demonic cultivators bring back wn's soul and lock it in a jar that they sew up into a fresh corpse or something idk

So since I'm sick and I'm not motivated to do much I wanted to introduce myself :p
I'm 18 years old and I live in Germany. I'm also half italian ( sadly I can't speak italian only understand it </3). I've been a fan since around 2018/19 but really got into them in 2020, because of the lockdown I had pretty much free time.
I am a Industrial Mechanic trainee and I plan on getting my motorcycle license this spring/summer. Also my bike is a Kawasaki (got excited when I heard the word kawasaki in atrofd😭).
My hobbies are drawing, gaming, watching movies/shows and listening to music. Sadly I have an art block atm (going on for a year or so 🥰). My favourite games are Life is Strange, everything from the RE franchise, Sally Face and TombRaider.
I listen to too many artists n genres but my number 1 for me personally is twenty one pilots ofc:> I also listen to $b, Lil Peep, Bmth, LP, The Neighbourhood, lana, billie, rebzyyx, molchat doma, ptv, katatonia etcetc. I pretty much listen to ALMOST everything. I will link my spotify under this post so you can have a look at it if u want.
I mostly watched horror/thriller like twd, saw, the shining, the conjuring, the dream house, the glass house and more I think.
I also like Thirteen Reasons Why, Ninjago(I still like it okay), Fast and Furious, Gravity Falls and Shameless.
I also watched a few anime like another, tokyo ghoul, junji ito, danganronpa and violet evergarden.
So uh if you read till here you're amazing <3 The others too ofc since it's much stuff 😭🤍

FREE MLP COMMISSIONS.
EXAMPLE OF MY ART BELOW:
[I did not draw the background, it's a screen shot from the MLP fim series]
Howdy guys!
I'm opening a Instagram store for LPS and MLP commissions, adopts, pfps, and more! It's still a wip so nothing is for sale yet. And because I don't have too many MLP drawings to show for example, I thought I would open a few FREE commissions!
Instagram store link here.
[I'd also like to sell LPS clothes, stickers, customs, etc. eventually as well, but it'll be a while before that happens-]
I can draw an original character of yours, whether that be a random MLP OC or I can draw your pony sona/self insert. I can also draw any of the canon/fandom ponies from the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic series.
Or if you'd rather, I can make/design an adopt for you! You can give me some details/ideas you'd like included, or I can make the character from scratch and completely surprise you! I can also make a pony sona for you if you don't have one already. You can give me some details about you (things you like, fave colors, etc). And again, I can surprise you or you can tell me what/how you want to look like and I can draw it for you! (coat color, mane and tail color, length and style, cutie mark, whether you want to be a pegasus, unicorn, or Earth pony).
And if you don't know, I can choose for you on which I think best suits you out of the three! Whichever you'd like. We can go over and discuss more details if you want as well.
Don't be afraid to ask me any questions you may have!
The commission will be done digitally by me on procreate. It'll probably take me a week or a few to complete as I can be busy irl and I'll have multiple comms to do. So I ask you for your patience as I make this for you. Thank you.
I will be taking a total of 3 FREE commissions for now. But I may take more in the future. I'll make an edit on here and on my profile once all of the slots are taken. It is first come first serve, to make it fair.
Now for commission rules:
You can post it anywhere you want, but you MUST give me credit.
You cannot remove or alter my watermark/signature in anyway. This includes if you're using it as a pfp.
You cannot claim the drawing as your own creation, even if it is your OC, as I was the one who created it. Especially because the drawing is free, I think it's only fair that I receive credit in exchange.
I have every right to decline your comm for whatever reason.
I will only draw one character per commission. And it will be with a plain background only, as I don't have the time to draw backgrounds for everyone.
This comm is rather simple it won’t have lots of details and accessories and such. It’s just a single character comm with a plain background.
Please give me everything you have on your character that you want me to have in mind when drawing them.
You can print the artwork, but you cannot claim the drawing itself as your own creation. Again, please give me credit.
I reserve full rights to the image and it's use unless otherwise agreed upon.
I will do everything I can to make my customers happy! If you have a problem with anything, please let me know. I'm sure we can figure it out together.
That is everything for now, sorry for writing so much. ^^
REMEMBER THE COMM IS COMPLETELY FREE. 3 SLOTS OPEN ONLY!!!

I know nothing about Persona let alone Goro Akechi but after reading the bsf and yan profile post I want to give this man a hug (and my tits). His story seems so sad ;-; and he's so pretty and for what?? 💢
Honestly, as much as I enjoy genshin I never truly found it to have any meaningful or extremely well written characters (which is not a bad thing, I just can't take them seriously when they all look like that lmao). All credit to making me think twice about them goes to writers and artists in the fandom. So the change in content feels soooooo nice. Made me appreciate your writing in another way
I've heard about Persona a LOT for years, but I didn't have a huge drive to play it until your liveposting (p.s I love the LP so much) and especially the posts with that one insane policeman guy who is a loser (affectionate, also giving him my pussy). Any recs? 😅
HE IS MY BABY BOY you're so right he is so pretty 😖😖😖 Akechi is genuinely an excellently written character, and Persona 5 Royal is one of the few games I think fully deserves to be so hyped as it is.
Tbh I think the problem genshin and similar games has is that there's so many characters, you have to essentially go out of your way to dig into lore to get anything beyond surface level from them. This happens a lot in series with lots of characters — like with Danganronpa for example, your experience of a lot of characters completely changes upon playing their free time events. A lot of genshin characters get very little screen time on the main story, so all their characterization is in their quests, lines, and character profile content. Which to be fair, with a game of this nature that's kinda the only way to really do it, so, I'm just glad they give us that extra content tbh. I've played some gachas that would introduce new characters but give very little beyond a design and name which is kinda sad when you want to know more about the lil guy you're playing with.
But AAAAAAAAAAAAAA thank you so much anon I am going to ramble here, but I'll put a tl;dr at the bottom!
Soooo if you want to get into Persona, I'd recommend the series in a certain order with some notes. There's 5 main entries in the series and a lot of spinoffs.
A word of advice in general with marathoning a game series: with any series it's a good idea to play in order of chronological and thus technological progression, especially if you intend to play the series back to back, otherwise going from a more recent game to an older one can damper your experience due to the decrease in graphical quality, gameplay smoothness, and general content quantity.
However for this series, the ideal order to play really depends on the factors of 1) which version of Persona 3 you choose to play, and 2) if you want to play Persona 1 & 2.
Regarding Persona 1 and 2: These are some of those games where your enjoyment will strongly depend on whether or not you're a person who is okay with some of the frustrations, limitations and slowness/jankiness common to old games (they came out between 1996-1999). I know some people don't mind or see it as a sort of vintage charm, while others get very frustrated with that — if you're the latter, I'd recommend saving yourself the frustration and skipping them, but if you like old games or have a high tolerance for jankiness, you could start here. I will also say that, even amongst the vintage/90s games fan crowd, P2 is definitely more popular and considered better than P1. It's also much better on the aforementioned issues.
Also, unless you have an original PlayStation or PSP, you'll have to emulate these.
Regarding Persona 3: there's several versions — the original came out in like 2006, then there was a remake version called P3 FES which added an epilogue (which is being added to the recent remake soon anyway), then a PSP remake called Persona 3 Portable (which has ports on modern consoles), then the most recent remake, Persona 3 Reload, came out just a few months ago in 2024.
Obviously the newest remake has vastly improved graphics and added lots of gameplay content. However, one of the biggest differences is that P3 Portable had the option to play as a female protagonist — this altered a lot of aspects of the game and is exclusive to that version (which has disappointed a lot of people hoping she'd be in the 2024 remake), so you can't play as her if you play Reload (unless, I believe, you play PC, there's a volunteer team currently making a mod for her).
Personally, I bought P3 Reload, and couldn't get into it, so I dropped it. Then I bought P3P on a whim and LOVE it so far. Getting to play as the girl protagonist makes a massive difference in my opinion, and more than compensates for the older graphics/gameplay. It's not just the romance routes either, her dialogue options, interactions, music, and overall vibe is different enough that it changes the feel of the story.
It really depends on what you value more — 2024-tier visual quality/gameplay and the epilogue, versus the Female Protagonist experience, so just pick which you prefer.
For the order thing, if you choose to play P3P (or the original/FES for whatever reason), I'd start here, but if you want to play Reload, I'd play it either last or just before P5 Royal.
Moving on, Persona 4: Golden and Persona 5: Royal are both the definitive editions of their respective games. They're remakes of the originals with a lot of added content, and unlike Persona 3, there's no reason to play the older versions over these. Notably their themes/vibes are kinda opposite of each other (big city world-scale societal rebellion versus small rural town murder mystery), I wouldn't say either story is better or worse, they're not really comparable and more a matter of personal taste.
As for the stories, admittedly if you've read my posts, you've essentially already been spoiled on the identity of the killers, but honestly it's still worth experiencing the story, there's multiple big plot twists before and after the reveals regarding Akechi/Adachi.
I would play Persona 5 Royal last, largely because it's widely considered the best entry to the series and is by far the longest. However if you only intend to play one game, it should definitely be P5 Royal. The only real flaw to P5 is it's much easier than previous games.
From here, there's a few more spinoff games, whether or not you want to play them really just depends on if you enjoy the genre. There's a bit of lore in some of them but nothing critical.
Dancing All Night/Starlight/Moonlight - dancing rhythm games
Arena Ultimax - fighting game, acts as an epilogue to P3&4
Persona Q 1&2
These are Nintendo DS spinoffs with chibi style art. I haven't played these and admittedly don't know much about them, I think they're dungeon crawler genre? It's popular for the aspect of which it involves the characters of the different main games, so you get to see them interact with each other.
The downside is that these games are oddly expensive, I think because there weren't too many copies. I intend to get them eventually.
Persona 5 Tactica/Strikers:
These are P5 spinoffs that put the cast in alternate stories, strikers is the closest to a true sequel from my understanding, tactica is more of a dungeon-crawler. I didn't get them because Akechi isn't in strikers and is just minor dlc for tactica.
The Phantom X
This is upcoming I believe, it's going to be a mobile game with a new cast.
The TL;DR of my advice:
- Play P2 only if you're into vintage gaming
- Play P1 only if you're REALLY into vintage gaming
- Play Persona 3 Portable if you really value the female protagonist/male character romance experience, otherwise play Persona 3 Reload
- If you play the original Persona 3, FES, or P3 Portable: start with that, then P4 Golden, then P5 Royal
- If you play Persona 3 Reload: play P4 Golden FIRST, then both P5 Royal and P3 Reload in either order.
- Play the spinoffs just based on what type of games you like, if any.
#p5 arena ultimax when....#i NEED akechi and adachi to interact please#they would DESPISE each other and it would be so funny

Remnants post-ep 15 thoughts/theories/etc
My GOD this was a hefty one . I have a lot to say
Ok to start, some notes on the episode. Mostly focusing on A/Sir because the Remnants themselves are a very different beast
Sir keeps saying "Shelved" instead of "Reshelved"
A has been remade hundreds of times (minimum)
Sir seems to be able to control A's actions to an extent, coaxing him into starting the Remnant
[I'm going to need to trawl through the episodes again to gather all the information I can about Perry]
[I would quite like to make little information profiles for reoccurring characters]
I've already seen a theory I quite like from the.vast.general on Discord that Perry is Death, which I do quite like
The Apprentice was Perry
A thinks he's being kept here for punishment, Sir seems to disagree
A tries to discard himself, Sir seems to save him from the fire
---
The capitalised letters in the captions read, in total:
HE IA M OR EOR LESS MST HAS ILTOT ALL YLIGO NENT ODUS THERE
This can be separated into two sentences:
He more or less has totally gone to dust
I am still in here
(They can also be found here, separated into the sentences)
I can only assume the first sentence is from Sir (about A), and the second is the Apprentice (about himself). This code being intertwined in this way could speak to the two of them being interconnected in a deeper way than just where they work, but I'll get to that later.
---
now, let's go through my theory post from last time and correct anything that might need it. A lot of them are still unclear or haven't been opposed yet, so I'll just skip them (unless they're specifically relevant)
first, more on things we learned from e11:
All the names that are assumed to be the same person: Lord du Perier-1/13, Theodore du Perier("Teddy")-7/15, Edward Pocket-3/9/15, Ted-10, Perry Wiseman-15, Basil-13, Edwin Peterson-13 (probably), and the Apprentice. I may be missing a couple, but I will make a timeline for him as soon as I can :)
On a related note, here's a link to the spreadsheet I made of all the characters. It's colour-coded <3
Sir was hesitant about the Apprentice reading e7 because Amelie was his daughter (when he was Teddy). Explains why he said "It's her" when he started reading it, and why he keeps her Remnant under his bed.
A mentions (e10) that Sir burned away something of his. At the end of e15, Sir pulls him out from the fire he throws himself into.
→ Additionally, (I can't remember if it's explicitly said in the episode) but I'm like, 90% sure that the Dust is discarded Remnants
→→And also, the way that Remnants are discarded is that they are incinerated I think
Still unsure what the veil is though. Maybe the thing that's stopping A from knowing who he was in life?
Again, Sir seems to be treating A like an experiment, something he's doing for no particular reason. Which raises multiple questions
→How did Sir get access to A? Was he just the first Remnant Sir happened to see when he decided to do this experiment? Or if it's specifically him, why? (I have a few theories on why but we'll get to them later)
→Why did he do it? Is it to test his own choices, or to compare it to what a human would choose, or something else entirely?
brief intermission because I need to point out this one from last time that I forgot I wrote. Oh Boy I Had No Idea
Anyways. That is confirmed on both accounts, we know this now, but it does, again, raise the question of why *him*. Sir does say that A is "specific" though (e11)
A is a Remnant that must be read [by Sir]. Don't have much to add to this tbh I just need to note it down
Now, just the theories:
I still don't think Sir knows what he's doing. But! I have more opinions about him.
I think he is more powerful than we think/is shown, and he may-or-may-not have been made with TF&LP. He knows *what* to do, but not necessarily *why*
I no longer think he was a previous Apprentice, though. I think that a big reason that A is who he is and the difference between him and Sir is that A has humanity that Sir doesn't. A was human, once, but Sir wasn't. That being said, Sir does seem to try to develop a sense of humor at points, but other than that he is very...robotic?
He also mentions he doesn't remember things in the same way that A does, whatever that means
He definitely has control over A in a big way, though. Not just with making him start a Remnant but with power; making him "restart", for example
Maybe Sir and A are a yin-and-yang of sorts for each other
Repeating a thought from last time: It is possible that neither Sir nor A are actual people, but rather constructs made by a larger force, or simply just concepts given bodies.
Now, the Apprentice. He is - was - human once, yes, but this is still entirely possible. As was pointed out before, he might not be an actual person. I do have a lot of thoughts about Perry; the eyes (the "windows to the soul") being different; the way he has a habit of showing up almost anywhere; how different he is in each Remnant, not just in name but also profession -- the one that comes to mind the most is where he's a solicitor by the name of Edward Pocket (e3 - ring)
All these things being vaguely inconsistent is interesting and definitely means something. Don't know what, though<3
I'm still unclear on why Sir didn't want A to read e6 (fountain pen), but I feel like the answer is glaringly obvious already. Is it because there's an explicit birth, and that's the antithesis to what they do? Or is it just one that Gets Him for some reason?
Things to also note:
“A man of many faces, a story of many fates” is the show's tagline. "a man of many faces" likely refers to A, but also likely has multiple meanings
“The Apprentice soon discovers that when we judge others, we often expose truths about ourselves.” - quote from the RQ site. He is certainly judging other people, and Sir is learning about him from that. He also exposed his own truth to himself, about his Life
--
What is the dust?
As I said before, I reckon it's the ashes of burned Remnants. It can be assumed these are the discarded ones, but it isn't confirmed
→Or, alternatively, it could just be *A's* Remnant. Although, that is more unlikely. His definitely makes up some of it, but maybe not all
→however at some point A goes to read a heart-shaped rock, and it crumbles to dust under his hand
The dust does seem to help him at points, leading him places and giving him a Remnant at some point. Maybe e6?
I'm pretty sure it's implied that the dust is sentient at some point, but I can't remember when
It is also described often in the transcripts as "scuttling", like it's a creature
And we cannot forget the message, "He more or less has totally gone to dust"
If we assume the "he" is A, what does it mean? A is slowly slipping away? His Remnant is partially burned, so it makes sense if *that* is turning to dust
It also seems to be working against Sir in some ways, making A understand who he was
--
Reshelve or discard
that is the question !!
No but seriously, theory time
The show is about reincarnation. I don't remember if it's explicitly said to be about that, but "When we die, the remnants of us return to the First and Last Place..." is a description of reincarnation
So one of the options must mean to give the souls a new life - likely reshelve, if discarded Remnants are burned (but !! this is not confirmed so do not take it as fact!!)
The difference between "shelve" and "reshelve" is really important to me. Shelve implies there was an original decision, so why does it need to be done again?
A bit of a crack theory, but is it A being reincarnated instead, under all the different monikers ??
Or alternatively, are the souls being reshelved being taken out of the cycle? Are they trying to make a collection of the 'best' souls?
In that case, the discarded ones might be the ones being sent back to live again, so they can have another chance at being good?
I'm sure I had more theories than this but I can't currently remember them
Ok I'm ending this here because the episode is coming out in a couple of days for patreons, and it has already been sat in my drafts since e15 came out ! If I don't post it now it might be another 2 weeks before I remember again :) I will make one of these for the Remnants themselves, but that may still be a couple of weeks <3
#remnants pod#remnants pod spoilers#remnants: an audio drama#can you tell i'm enjoying this pod#VERY excited for the next episode#It's literally just called “Dust”.......

G Witch Onscreen Text: Episode 3
This is part FOUR in my ongoing attempt to transcribe and discuss all of the text that appears on screens and monitors in the show! Because it's COOL!!!! HUAHHHH!!!
<< Click here to go back to Episode 2!
Take My Hand..... Let us go....
TEXT (Bottom) No. 001 MOM
This is just the UI that appears during the video call, not much to say, but the fact that No. 001 appears above Prospera's contact name in Suletta's Phone probably means that contacts aren't sorted in alphabetical order, but by the order they were registered into the phone.
Suletta's Mom is No. 001 because she's the first (and by this point in the story, probably only,) contact in Suletta's phone.
Following this same line of reasoning, Sarius is registered 39th in Shaddiq's phone, and his contact name isn't "Dad" or something like that, it's just his full name, Sarius Zenelli. All business with this guy, huh?

So first, minor thing but I figure it important to mention, the ID on Prospera's profile is 5011-01. The first half of the ID matches that of Aerial's Permet Id, which is 5011-0083. What this means particularly is beyond me I think. Maybe the first half of an MS ID is in reference to its creator? Maybe it's just coincidence? Who knoooows
It's very interesting how almost all of the data that's recorded here is just straight up wrong. Prospera was not born on Mercury, didn't marry in the field, (well...i guess technically she did. Not THIS field though.)
But what I think is most important here is that Prospera is in fact receiving workman's compensation for a mining accident. It's easy to assume that this is also misinformation, that there never really WAS a mining accident, but lets think about it for a minute.
We first hear about this accident during the Shin Sei hearing, when Prospera claims the accident took her arm and face. We KNOW that she's lying about this, because she lost her arm back when she was a child. It doesn't explain her helmet, though.
Then we see this, and learn that she's actively receiving workman's compensation for the incident. In episode 24, we finally have a name to the condition she has: "Data Storm Infection," and we learn that it's actively paralyzing her body.
So, I think the mining accident did really happen. The resources they were mining for would had to have been permet, which would explain how she became infected with a Data Storm.
This is mostly speculation on my end, but look at Prospera's Permet scar. It's focused around a single point. We can't know what specifically happened, but if I had to make an assumption, during the accident she probably got blasted in the head by a potent chunk of permet at that spot. Or something like that. I could talk about it another time.
Anyway, moving on !

Just the contact exchange screen.
Not text, but I think knowing now that Jeturk Heavy Machnery was the top company in the Benerit Group gives new context to how swiftly the company began falling in the ranks entirely because Guel lost the title of Holder. It really does give you a lot of sway within the Group.
TEXT Subject: Regarding the next Duel From: Vim Jeturk To: Lauda Neill
Follow my orders for the next duel. Make sure to look into the attached file.
Regards,>>attachment file
This is the email Vim sends Lauda before the duel, about rigging the sprinklers to go off.
Not going to transcribe all this again, just wanted to point out that when one of the main settings in Aerial is yellow, that means its currently active/online
TEXT: SEMI-AUTONOMOUS MODE [???]
Cant read the sub heading in this shot, but we can see that the Darilbalde is currently on Semi Autonomous Mode
TEXT: INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM LOCATION: 7TH TACTICAL TESTING SECTOR CURRENT STATUS: ABNORMAL STATUS: LOCAL HEAT ABNORMAL. COOLING BY WATER
Here we get a brief look at the environmental control system that Felsi and Petra messed with for the duel. They turned the humidity up to 98
When Suletta wins the duel, she already has the Holder emblem and colors on her Duel card. She also has 2 wins, so her and Guel's first duel is no longer voided.
TEXT: KP001 ELAN CERES CONGRATULATIONS!
When Suletta wins the duel, Elan is the first person to send her an email congratulating her on the victory
She also gets a bunch of other messages from other students at the school. Most of these are repeats of each other, so I'll go ahead and only type out the unique ones: YOU'VE DONE IT! CONGRATS! SO COOL! WELL DONE, MERCURIAN GIRL! HOW LUCKY! WOOHOO! NICE FIGHT! CONGRATS! YOU WON! MERCURIAN GIRL...G... GIRL, DONT LOSE! I THOUGHT YOU COULD DO IT! YOU'RE A SPECIAL... GREAT! GREAT! BEAUTIFUL VICTORY!
When Miorine tells Suletta to set her inbox only to friends, you can see that she does at the top there.
No text here. I just really like this frame.

Nothing super interesting here. I just like it
Anyway!!! THAT IS ALL!! WE HAVE MADE IT THROUGH!!! As a reward, here is a funny image
Me when a pretty girl is nice to me one time.
Lots of fun stuff this episode! Please excuse the tangent on Prospera, I just think she's really interesting. I think my favorite email from this episode was GIRL, DONT LOSE..... my fellow math rockers and Slint-ers will know these guys
Ethan Buckler was originally the bassist for underground Louisville, KY, sensations Slint during the late '80s, but after recording the 1989 album Tweez with the group, Buckler wanted to start a dance band in the vein of early B-52's. Buckler left and formed King Kong with vocalist Amy Greenwood, bassist Willie Maclean, and drummer Ray Rizzo. The first order of business for the band was to record a self-released 7". By 1990, King Kong had worked out a deal with Trash Flow Records, which promptly released the band's second 7", Bring It On. Within the next year, Homestead Records had made an agreement with the group to release their debut full-length LP, The Old Man on the Bridge. It was with this recording that Buckler started to make a conscious effort to begin writing conceptual story lines for each of his full-length releases.
The formula proved to be a success and The Old Man on the Bridge became a college radio hit. Following a brief tour in support of the record, King Kong recorded 1993's Funny Farm LP for Chicago's Drag City Records. The group was also featured on two compilations that year, which included the Self-Destruct label's Louisville Sluggers, Vol. 3 as well as Drag City's Hey Drag City. As 1994 rolled around, King Kong was gaining more notoriety as they received a feature in Spin magazine. They were even asked to perform on Lollapalooza's second stage from August 12-18 alongside bands like the Boo Radleys and Shudder to Think. Following the Lollapalooza stint, the band released the two-song 7" Hot Dog Days on Drag City that fall. 1995 saw the third full-length release by King Kong, titled Me Hungry. It was another concept album dealing with the primitive subject matter of a torrid love affair between a yak and a caveman.
When King Kong was preparing to record their next full-length LP, Kingdom of Kong, Buckler was growing tired of people analyzing the lyrics and concepts of each release. His decision was to write a record that wouldn't contain a story, so much as a motif, and that way the listener could dance to it rather than sit and be critical. Following the October 1997 release of the album, the band toured Europe. At the end of 1998, King Kong decided to go on hiatus. Throughout 1999, Buckler worked at Churchill Downs horse track and also had a full-time job as a dishwasher. It wasn't until December of 2000 when King Kong re-formed to play some shows in Louisville, the highest profiled of which was their February 3, 2001, headlining performance at Headliners Music Hall with former Slint guitarist David Pajo's band Papa M and VHS or Beta. Drag City released the King Kong demos and outtakes CD Breeding Ground late in 2001 on its smaller imprint, Sea Note, followed by the electro-inspired The Big Bang in 2002. Five years later, King Kong returned with Buncha Beans, which felt like a throwback to the band's early albums.

Precision Medicine in Coronary Artery Disease: Tailoring Treatment Strategies
Introduction
Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a complex condition influenced by genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Traditionally, CAD management has followed a one-size-fits-all approach, relying on standard interventions such as statins, antiplatelet therapy, and surgical procedures. However, not all patients respond to treatment in the same way, highlighting the need for more personalized approaches.
Precision medicine is transforming the landscape of CAD treatment by tailoring strategies to an individual’s genetic profile, biomarker levels, and unique risk factors. Advances in genomics, artificial intelligence, and molecular diagnostics are enabling physicians to develop customized treatment plans that optimize outcomes while minimizing side effects. As precision medicine continues to evolve, it holds the potential to revolutionize cardiovascular care by making treatments more effective and patient-specific.
Genetic Insights and Personalized Risk Assessment
One of the key components of precision medicine in CAD management is the use of genetic testing to assess an individual’s risk of developing the disease. Studies have identified multiple genetic variants associated with an increased predisposition to atherosclerosis, inflammation, and abnormal lipid metabolism. By analyzing a patient’s genetic profile, clinicians can predict their likelihood of developing CAD and implement early preventive strategies.
Polygenic risk scores (PRS) are emerging as valuable tools for estimating an individual’s inherited risk of CAD. These scores combine information from multiple genetic markers to provide a more accurate risk assessment. Patients with high PRS may benefit from earlier lifestyle interventions, intensive cholesterol management, and closer monitoring, while those with lower scores may require less aggressive treatment. Genetic testing is also guiding the use of medications, ensuring that patients receive the most effective therapies based on their genetic makeup.
Biomarkers and Targeted Therapies
Beyond genetics, biomarker analysis is playing a crucial role in precision medicine for CAD. Biomarkers are measurable indicators found in blood or tissues that provide insights into disease progression, inflammation levels, and response to treatment. Traditional markers such as cholesterol levels and C-reactive protein (CRP) have long been used in CAD management, but new biomarkers are offering more precise information.
Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] is a genetically determined risk factor for CAD that is now being targeted with novel therapies. Elevated Lp(a) levels have been linked to an increased risk of heart disease, and emerging treatments, such as RNA-based therapies, aim to lower Lp(a) and reduce cardiovascular risk. Similarly, high-sensitivity troponin and galectin-3 levels are being studied for their ability to predict heart attacks and heart failure, allowing for earlier interventions. By using biomarker-driven strategies, physicians can customize treatment plans that address the specific underlying mechanisms of CAD in each patient.
Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Drug Therapy
Pharmacogenomics—the study of how genes influence an individual’s response to medications—is a critical aspect of precision medicine in CAD. Genetic variations can impact how patients metabolize and respond to common cardiovascular drugs, affecting both efficacy and safety.
For example, certain genetic variants in the CYP2C19 gene influence the effectiveness of clopidogrel, a widely used antiplatelet drug. Patients with these variants may not metabolize the drug properly, leading to reduced protection against blood clots and an increased risk of heart attacks. Genetic testing allows physicians to identify such patients and prescribe alternative antiplatelet medications, such as ticagrelor or prasugrel, to ensure optimal treatment. Similarly, pharmacogenomic testing is helping refine statin therapy by identifying patients at higher risk of muscle-related side effects, allowing for adjustments in drug selection and dosing.
Artificial Intelligence and Data-Driven Treatment Approaches
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning are enhancing precision medicine by analyzing vast amounts of patient data to identify patterns and predict disease outcomes. AI-driven algorithms can integrate genetic information, biomarker levels, imaging results, and lifestyle factors to develop highly individualized treatment plans.
Advanced imaging techniques, such as AI-enhanced coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), can detect subtle signs of arterial plaque buildup before symptoms appear. AI-powered risk prediction models help physicians identify high-risk patients who may benefit from early interventions, such as aggressive lipid-lowering therapy or advanced imaging surveillance. By leveraging AI and big data analytics, precision medicine is becoming more accurate, efficient, and accessible in the management of CAD.
Conclusion
Precision medicine is reshaping the treatment of coronary artery disease by moving beyond traditional, generalized approaches to more individualized strategies. Genetic testing, biomarker analysis, pharmacogenomics, and AI-driven insights are enabling clinicians to tailor treatments based on a patient’s unique characteristics, leading to better outcomes and fewer adverse effects.
As research in precision medicine continues to advance, it holds the promise of revolutionizing CAD management by improving early detection, refining drug therapy, and personalizing preventive strategies. By integrating cutting-edge technologies with patient-specific data, precision medicine is paving the way for a future in which CAD treatment is not only more effective but also more targeted and personalized.

Humane, the ambitious artificial intelligence startup behind the AI Pin, is closing down its hardware division and selling most of its assets to HP for $116 million. The firm announced today that it was ending its much-hyped but ultimately failed experiment in AI-enabled wearable technology. Existing customers who have already bought an AI Pin will be able to utilize the device until February 28, 2025, at 3 PM ET. After this date, the AI Pin will no longer be able to access Humane's servers, essentially making most of its core features unusable. Based on a support document published by the company, functions like calling, messaging, AI-driven queries, and cloud storage will no longer work. Users are being asked to save their photos, videos, and notes prior to the shutdown, as all content stored will be erased permanently once Humane's servers shut down. Some offline functionality will still be available even after the shutdown. Battery level indication will still function, but any feature that needs cloud connectivity, such as voice interactions, AI-driven responses, and access to Humane's.Center platform, will be disabled permanently. LPS.1, CC0, via Wikimedia Commons For consumers looking to get their money back, refunds are only for AI Pins that were within the 90-day return period from the date of their initial shipment. Refund claims should be made by February 27, 2025. Also, anyone who paid for a Humane subscription that runs past February 28 will get a prorated refund. Customers who were due a replacement charging case as a result of the previous recall will also receive a refund for the part of their initial purchase that included the Charge Case subsequent to the shutdown date. HP's buyout comes with Humane's patented operating system, CosmOS, and its large portfolio of patents, with more than 300 patents and patent applications. The acquisition also adds much of Humane's technical talent to HP's ranks, an indication that HP can use the firm's technology and know-how to drive future AI innovations. Humane initially debuted the AI Pin with a high-profile onstage demonstration at TED, creating widespread interest but also doubts. The launch campaign included a reveal video that had to be revised due to a major inaccuracy. When the AI Pin officially hit the market in April 2024, it was met with overwhelmingly negative reviews. Tech reviewers criticized its performance, with The Verge’s David Pierce stating that “it just doesn’t work,” while MKBHD went even further, calling it “the worst product I’ve ever reviewed.” After the disappointing reception, Humane started looking for a possible buyer, valuing itself at as much as $1 billion. But the sale price announced today of $116 million indicates that the company was having difficulty locating a willing buyer at its initial valuation. August 2024 reports showed that AI Pin sales were being surpassed by daily returns, prompting a price reduction in October in a bid to increase customer numbers. Even that price cut, however, was not enough to reverse the fortunes of the struggling product. Humane was a startup with great promise in the AI wearables category, started by former Apple executives who envisioned phasing out smartphones in favor of a screen-free AI assistant. Humane's creative vision drew investment and the attention of the tech world, but execution killed the company. Whereas the AI Pin was designed to be a voice-controlled, hassle-free substitute for conventional mobile phones, actual use revealed fundamental flaws such as inconsistent AI responses, sluggish processing, and a general absence of useful functionality. HP's move to buy Humane's technology indicates that the computing giant believes in the startup's software and intellectual property, although its hardware did not catch on. It is unclear how HP will incorporate CosmOS and Humane's AI know-how into its own product offerings. With HP's dominance in the PC and enterprise spaces, the technology may be repurposed for new AI-based applications beyond the consumer wearables market. Humane's closure is yet another warning story in the rapidly changing AI space. The idea of an AI-driven wearable assistant is still interesting, but the failure of Humane is a testament to the difficulty of getting such a far-reaching vision to market. With HP assuming its assets, Humane's future is now contingent on how well HP can consolidate and build on it into its own pipeline. Read the full article

EL FIN – Let's Play Some $#!7!: Resolute Paladin SLARPG
Sunday, February 9, 2025
Come join me for Part 7, and the final act, of the Let's Play Some $#!7! | LPS$ stream for the Resolute Paladin Super Lesbian Animal RPG | SLARPG Stream Series! This go around, we beat the game! Lucky number 7 (I said that so many times while streaming)! I've said it before, and I'll say it again: this game makes me want to learn pixel art. Something I haven't said, all reviews on Steam are Overwhelmingly Positive, and I can see why. My pixel art bias is clear, right? Well, I'm going to say why Ponett did great with their art style! It was consistent! The color palette wasn't too overwhelming and the character/creature design was phenomenal! I'm a bit jealous of the artists, but I'm going to use them as inspiration! Looking at the programming, my one big issue with the game is the fact I can't walk through flowers. Are we "so good" that we would never step on a flower? Did it make for an interesting maze in the beginning? Yes. Afterwards, it became a nuisance. Another annoyance was the lack of guidance with the Spell Books. When looking at them, they told us what spells we were granted, but not what they did. There's only so much "figure it out" I'm comfortable with; I wanna know what I'm getting before I'm buying. How I feel about the game overall is... why did I stop playing? I don't remember. Getting back into the groove of playing was easy, which tells me how much I love it, but I don't remember what was going on to make me stop playing. This is a great game with a great story, lovable and memorable characters, and a great twist! If you want to watch me keep playing through SLARPG, I have a video series for the Amorous Paladin! If you wanna check out Part 1, click here!
And that's it for this extending review! Thank you for reading! If this series of videos is something you're interested in, you can watch it on YouTube, The Titans' Discord, Steam, Rumble, and Odysee! And on Twitch while the VODs last. This VOD is too long for Rumble and Odysee, though. Don't forget to hit the Subscribe and/or Follow buttons to know when there's more!
