Finally gave in and tried one of these #Nitro #Pepsi #Draft #Cola.....was instructed to pour into a glass, so I did ,(GO SUNS!)....umm...at first, like at VERY first, I really, really liked it. Love stouts and porters when it comes to my beers, become addicted to Nitro Cold Brews at Dutch, so texturally, AT VERY FIRST, I was digging it. The creaminess like a Nitro stout was very nice....at very first. Less than 10 seconds later, though, I had a flat, over sweetened, over cinnamoned kinda creamy Pepsi. Ok, so I had this a few days ago...kept forgetting to post it though....tried a new company of #SugarFree #EnergyDrinks, this one seeming to specialize in licences that already exist....this is @ghostenergy, and this is their #SourPatchKids #RedBerry flavor #EnergyDrink.....and, when cold, it tastes exactly like what it's supposed to be, doesn't even taste all #Diet-ey....until it gets warm....holy shit, look, I am just glad sugar free #SourPatchKids aren't a thing, because holy shit, they would suck. DO NOT LET THIS GET WARM. I will be nice and rare this cold. #LowYay. Ok, I have two new #BangEnergy flavors over the next two days...and while I'm excited about trying new shit for you guys, I feel hesitant here. First up, we got #RadicalSkadattle.....letting Tourette's patients pick the names to these, I see....anyways, this is like a cross between their new #PurpleKiddles flavor (which is supposed to be #Skittles) and their #RainbowUnicorn flavor. Forgot that I shot this pic yesterday...ok, based on a recommendation by both @dlueker and @its_me_smallfry, I tried the #Monster #UltraWatermelon. I liked this....the first time I had it, when it was called #Reign #MelonMania, and had twice as much caffeine in it. Seriously, this tastes just like the #Watermelon flavor from @reignbodyfuel, but with a lot less caffeine in it. My early morning gig GM picked this up for me (I told her I've been reviewing energy drinks on IG), and it's a new line from #SparklingIce, called #SparklingIceCaffeine, this flavor is #TripleCitrus. Pro: it tastes almost exactly like Sprite or 7UP. Con: it only has 70mgs of #caffeine, so don't expect this to do a shitload for you. Rating it a #LowYay. And finally, in the @lays #FlavorIcons line, we have #Wavy #CarnitasStreetTaco, inspired by @eltoritorestaurants in Marana Del Rey, CA. Out of the 3 flavors, this one tastes the most like what it's supposed to be, but it's also the one I happen to like the least. Charred pork and veggies doesn't transfer super great to chip form, I guess. There's also a overly sweet aftertaste, which I'm not sure what it's trying to replicate, but it doesn't seem like it belongs. IDK, they're wavy, so maybe if I find or make a good dip, I can go to town, but by themselves, I see this bag lasting a week or two past the others. Ok, first up of the #EnergyDrinks I received from @razeenergy, this one is the #BajaLime. This is the one I was looking forward to the most, and it's...just ok. Tastes like #KeyLimePie, which is why lime is rarely ever the main flavor in anything, I guess. Going into a half-day of work at a later hour, I'm drinking #Rockstar #Juiced, which has #NoAddedSugar and only 20 calories per can, but only has 160mg of #caffeine per can. This is the #PineappleOrangeGuava flavor, the #POG flavor, if you will. I don't like guava flavoring, I don't like it here, but the pineapple and orange are nice. However, this thing has such a #seltzer-y aftertaste, though. It's like, if you had a #WhiteClaw, and replaced all the alcohol with stronger flavoring, you'd have this....with caffeine. It's fine. This morning, I'm drinking the #TropicalLemon flavor of the #QuakeEnergy drinks....tastes more like #Sprite/#SpriteZero than all the other #Lemon flavored energy drinks I've tried so far. Best Quake so far...but that's not saying much. ....a heads up, pictures for this thing are gonna be without my stupid face until I figure out how to do a mirror shot on my new phone's front camera... This morning, I'm trying the brand new #BangEnergy #EnergyDrink, the #CandyAppleCrisp flavor. The first sip was remarkably fresh #apple, a hint of the #Diet/#SugarFree aspect, but still completely enjoyable...and then the #Caramel flavor comes in and almost ruins it all. I'm glad I found this and finally got to try it, but I probably won't pick it up again on my own. Ok, finally came across 2 of these at Target...this morning, I'm trying my first of a new #Rockstar line of ripoffs straight from the #ReignBangTrain, this is the #Thermogenic #NeonBlast flavor from their new #Thermo line, which the only difference between this and the #XDurance line is that this one is more chock full of #BCAAAminos, which means jack shit to me, since I don't use these for a workout regiment. It has #GreenTeaExtract in it, which I can taste first and foremost, and it's a good flavor....and does it's part to attempt to cover up the abundance of #FakeChocolateFunk up in this bitch. Look...flavor isn't bad, but it's not super good either, it's obvious that this is a #SugarFree/#Diet drink, but whatever at this point. Would take if offered, but wouldn't seek on my own again. #LowYay. This morning, I picked up a #MangOMatic #EnergyDrink by #ReignBodyFuel from #Superpumper because they were the only place that seemed to have this flavor, so I took advantage of my chance. This is...ok. The artificial #Mango taste is wayyyyyyyyy too strong, the #SugarFree/#Diet taste evens it out a smidge, but yeah, this is just...TOO....SWEET! 🤘 ...that's not necessarily a good thing though. I would say that this is the first flavor of either the @reignbodyfuel or @bangenergy drinks that I instantly thought upon tasting that, "Hey, this would be great #ChickDrink #mixer!" #StarBlast is actually the first flavor of #BangEnergy drinks I've ever tried over a year ago, but this is my first time revisiting it. A fruity mixture I can't really identify, but not unpleasant. The #SugarFree/#Diet taste is there and strong, but not too unbearable. Ok, #BangEnergy drinks....this is a weird one. #MiamiCola starts out with a nasty-ass taste of #OldPeopleCandy, but finishes off like a solid generic #cola, or kinda like a generic #CokeZero, because the diet taste isn't too pronounced or distracting in this one. Would I buy it again for myself? Probably not...but if offered, I'd happily drink it.
