i see a romance with jack as something along the lines of a workplace romance or a boss's daughter!reader type of trope. imagine getting a job for alpine in pr or social media, and finding out that you'll not only have to work with these two french babies who fight all the time – but also with a drop-dead gorgeous australian man who keeps "bothering" you when you're trying to work (though you only pretend to find him annoying... in reality, it's actually quite endearing). jack has never before enjoyed his social media duties, but all of a sudden, he appears in every social media post. he even comes to you, asking if there are any challenges he can do for the youtube channel, or if he could do that new tiktok trend he saw the other day. anything to have an excuse to spend more time with you.

or, in the boss's daughter trope, imagine being the child of the alpine team principal and loving to spend time with the team. for some reason, though, it took jack quite some time after joining the alpine academy until he first noticed you – but once he did, he fell in love instantly. and suddenly, jack puts in much more effort than before. he's at every event, every meeting, the first to appear at the paddock in the mornings and the last to leave at night during race weekends. tons of instagram posts just to appear in your feed, and many late night sim sessions just to catch your attention (which he definitely does; more often than not, you find yourself staying at the headquarters into the late hours of the night just to make sure everything goes well, that he stays hydrated and has food to snack on to stay alert, and that he has someone to talk to when he takes breaks).
