Keto Hack Olive Garden I don't eat out often but, my mother and I finally got together to celebrate our Christmas and exchange gifts at Olive Garden. I looked up there menu online beforehand and decided on the lowest carb options: Appetizer 3 of the 6 stuffed mushrooms (7netcarbs) Salad Roughly 2 tablespoons of salad dressings (2nc) on my salad with no tomato and no croutons. (I don't count carbs from leafy greens) added extra olives #fatlife Dinner Zoodles (7netcarbs) Grilled chicken and shrimp (but only ate half the chicken Creamy mushroom sauce (13 net carbs) but didn't eat it all... Topped with cheese Added red bell pepper (which adds a potentially 3 to 6nc) I'm sure there were some carbs that didn't get accounted for but I was unconcerned because this is a lifestyle and I can only live in today! I didn't count my protein or fat either. 103lbs down and again, I don't eat out often and this is a lifestyle! I think I did pretty damn good...Definitely not some where I would have gone in the beginning of my keto journey because getting knocked out of ketosis was mental torture, but, now I'm so metabolically flexible that I know a trip to the gym will get things squared away. For more of what I eat follow my other account: @eatwithketolifeco Normally I keep my net carbs around 20 to 25, keeping your body in ketosis means you eat between 20 and up to 50 net carbs per day, but I typically only receive results when I keep them on the low range. I definitely went over that here and being strict and precise is what's gotten me this far.
