Genuine Wrestle Boys (I am very good at naming)

I slammed MacCready’s arms down against the dirt, wheezing and huffing as he glared at me, his eyes intense. I had to admit, without the hat, he looked nice.  My concentration was interrupted by MacCready flipping me over sitting down on my chest with a triumphant huff. “I wouldn’t get too cocky if I were you. Wrestling was one of the specialties in Little Lamplight.” Christ his ass was boney. I struggled under him trying to remember the skills that Danse taught me. Then again it was pretty easy with him staring a few feet away, monitoring my progress with ‘hand to hand fighting’ which just turned into ‘hand to hand grappling and all around scrambling’. I know he wanted to see me grow, and hell I wanted to grow just as hard as a soldier but sometimes Danse was... overbearing? Nerve wracking?  “Remember Jenna, a surefire way to stop a male attacker is a strong blow to the nether regions-” Danse mentioned causing MacCready to quickly jump up off of me, hands in the air. “WOAH, WOAH!  He-hey I didn’t agree to any of that! I agreed to wrestling not... er...” He backed up a little, moving his hands over his crotch. “I was not saying that she should use that technique now. I was simply reminding her of options she has during fighting. Now please, continue if you will.” MacCready nervously looked at Danse before eyeing me up, sticking a slender finger towards my face. “You... better not do what he said.” “What, NOT hit you in the balls? Sure. I can do that.”  I chuckled, charging towards the mercenary who let out a sharp screech as he stumbled to the side taking my arm and forcing it behind my back. “NONONO. NO. I am NOT. Playing around with that shi-junk. You don’t know how much that really hurts!” I laughed as I leaned against him, letting out a little grunt at my arm bending back in a strange manner. “I was joking, Cready I wouldn’t hit you there man... Come on, I lovvveee you~” I cooed playfully as he twisted my arm more, causing me to yelp. I could see Danse out of the corner of my eye, shaking his head disapprovingly at our antics.  Danse would spar with me but it was kinda obvious that he had a height and strength advantage, so it’d be hard for me to know if something was working if I was a twig trying to break a brick wall.  Danse also considered Cait but the fact that she was in the combat arena and the crazed look she got when you landed a good blow nearly made me shit myself. MacCready was one of the more decent matches, sure we weren’t a perfect sparing pair but it certainly was  more acceptable. With it however came our idiotic moments. Far from ‘soldier worthy’. “Mac~ come on, don’t be like that, let go haha... no seriously let go.” I pleaded, earning yet another twist of the wrist. “HAHAH. OK Christ you absolute prick lord!” I began to kick his shin and ankles, making him yelp and  jump around before the both of us stumbled and fall down, me on top of MacCready. He screeched in pain, clawing on my back for me to get up. I quickly rolled off, looking over at Robert. “Oh god, are you ok man?” I asked, taking my hand and beginning to check him over. “No it’s... fine you’re fat ass just... crushed every bone in my chest it’s... fine I don’t need those, who needs ribs.”  I sighed and laid my head on the ground, giving a little huff. “Oh thank god... It’s just your fragile little baby ribs...” I muttered, brushing his small insult off. “Poor little baby, i’ll kiss em better.” He groaned again, rolling to his side and clutching his stomach. A single finger waved in the air towards me. I had to applaud him, at least that wasn’t a swear. But his condition and words did worry me. Danse got up and walked over to MacCready, grabbing his arm and pulling him up from the ground. “You alright there Robert? Do you need to see Curie, or perhaps a bed?” The smaller man glared up at him, hobbling over to scoop up his hat and slapped it back on his head. “I’m fine tin can, just... got the wind knocked out of me is all.” “You’re tearing up-” “THE DUST GOT KICKED UP.” He hissed, quickly stumbling away. I looked up at Danse, frowning  as he turned to me. “You think I really hurt him?  I... I feel bad. I know i’m not...” I trailed off, pushing myself out off of the ground with a grunt. “I think his pride has been bruised more than anything. I highly doubt it had to do with your weight as a whole. More of the fact that another human being was body slammed full force on top of him. As for the remark, well... from what I can detect MacCready lashes out when he’s hurt or embarrassed. I wouldn’t take it to heart. I try not to take most of his remarks my heart myself.” I nodded, giving a little kick to the dirt. “Did I do good by the way?” Danse didn’t reply, instead his glare off into the distance intensified, into a scowl as if he was thinking very hard about an answer that was accurate but still wouldn’t hurt my feelings. I just gave another nod, slapping his back softly. “You’re silence speaks a thousand words...”
