Today its Valborg or Valborgsmässoafton. In the evening we will light big bonfires, sing and cheer in the spring. 🌿

According to old folk lore, evil forces were in motion during the (Valborg) Walpurgis when the winter half-year turned into summer. Fires were then lit to scare away all the trolls. The fires also protected against predators who were after the cattle that had been let out on the first pasture of the year.

I decided to get into the festivites by having a nice day in the forest. ☀️🌲

Growing up without internet or iPhones, I spent a lot of time playing outside and befriending little forest critters. Among my favorites were the stick bugs. I remember one summer day, while listening to the rain, a little stick bug came to keep me company in my tiny fort made out of old wooden pallets. I often wonder how he's doing these days. 100/100 days of productivity

Huh, finally, that day has come! In fact, it's been over a week since this 100-day productivity challenge.

Productivity challenges somehow activate me, so  I want to start a new one as soon as possible.

Tomorrow a 3-session exam starts for me, which I spent five months to study. I hope it goes well and finally I can focus on what I really want to do in this life. I tried my best for last five months.

Also, I've been trying to learn to make peace with myself outside of classes lately. So, I would like to thank myself for all the efforts I have given mentally, I did the best I could.

I'll bloom like a flower ☘️🪴

This time of year our harvest is in, the trees have shed their leaves, and it seems as though the natural world has said good night. I enjoy walking through the woods at this time and noticing the late bloomers, meant to sustain wildlife through the harsh winter. Their bright colors are a sharp contrast to the browns we usually see nowadays.
