Wilbur! Even though he's not around on Sparkie's Place as often anymore, he's always going to be my son that I play for fun. He's moved onto his own tumblr... lovelaffers.tumblr.com

It's been a while since we talked about him, so I'll toss some facts about him.

He's got triplet older brothers (William, Wilson, Wiley). He's got one sister (Willow) whom is a part of @helenofsimblr's super soldier program with Bob. His mother (Wilhelmina) ended up marrying George Cahill and had an additional son. His father (Wilfred) found a younger woman Marilyn, who provided him with an additional son. Overly fertile family... and really like the Wil type names.

He gets his name from a popular spicy series game that started in 1987 and is still running in various incarnations today. Leisure Suit Larry Laffer is his great uncle on his father's side. Wilbur inherited his fashion sense from him.

He's modeled after a chimpanzee and Larry Laffer. I know weird combo, but it's one of the many reasons he's lasted longer than any other gameplay character.

Wilbur has to date, 37 children in my various save files... at least 12 of them belong to alternate universe Judith Robinson.

I've attempted a 100 baby challenge with him twice and failed miserably... so I only play that save as gameplay and life is much easier for Wilbur.

This is my go to... Wilbur is my dude... I was fiddling around trying to find inspiration to play just as a gameplay save and I watched my hubby playing a Leisure Suit Larry game and I just went. "YES" that's what I want to gameplay with... I need a "Larry Laffer" in my sims game... but no he can't be Larry, he needs a glorious name. WILBUR!

He was a bit of a goof and most assuredly a bit of a man whore until @helenofsimblr let me play around with an AU Judith Robinson from her half of the KSU and they got paired up randomly. She put him in line and they've been together ever since. They make beautiful babies and he's a dork, but she loves him. He likes to read poetry to her and she likes to sing to him. They always sneak off when I'm not paying attention!!! Jude usually ends up pregs. As a Laffer he's got the fertile traits... He also has his cat Mrs. Mustachos with him too and next to Judith, Mrs. M is his number 3. He's stylized after a chimpanzee and Larry Laffer whom in my fanfic lore, is Wilbur's cousin. I adore them and when I'm in a bad mood, playing around in Wilbur's save is always going to cheer me up cause he's just funny.

His original creation date was a year or so after Sims 4 went live. He's got a whole family tree, 6 canon siblings, divorced parents, 30 or so children, and my current game is only on gen 3. I will NEVER let him or Judith or Mrs. M. die. NEVER! 20 years from now I'll still be playing around with Wilbur Laffer and his family. I will always go back to my Laffer save...always.

I also still have the trays of every child he's ever had a hand in birthing.

I asked this question in r/sims3 last week, thought I’d ask here as well.

Nice to formally meet you!

I do make story posts and gameplay/legacy on another blog @lovelaffers. For the story posts - I collaborate regularly with my good friend @helenofsimblr. We spend many a day and time talking about plot and planning. Much of the "KSU" is already plotted out quite extensively. She works poses and I usually build. I am the primary builder. I usually make the builds myself, but I have been known to search for good builds on the gallery or online.... why build it all when there are so many good creators out there?! If they need tailoring or tweaking to our needs then I usually do that.

For the gameplay - I usually do the builds myself and add on as needed.

Testing @whyhellosims CC. Wilbur and AU(Lafferverse) Judith ( @helenofsimblr ) are quite happy with the turn out.

I even tested to see how well the shirt might do if stretched in a pose. I think it turned out well. Usually Wilbur is not so tall! I think they look fab!

It's clear enough to see. Perma-paywall is out... crap like ad-*ly are out... using Sims 4 like text, sims 4 like style and sims 4 like logos including plumbob is out... basically they're asking you not to advertise your stuff like it's part of their stuff.... early access is ok... long as things are free within reasonable amount of time...which drake mentioned 2-3 weeks back in 2017 via this post.
