Favorite books: it's hard to say. i love biopics (my love for them began after reading a book about Van Gogh named Lust for Life by Irving Stone) and non-fiction. but also i love adventure books and Howard Lovecraft's world, I dream of buying a complete collection of his works 😍

Currently reading: I am currently reading the book "KGB Archives. Uninvented Stories." It was written by a historian who works with documents of the Soviet state security agencies, declassified in Ukraine, and if you read it, you would be surprised at how absurd sometimes the cases that were brought against people were. You could be accused of espionage or treason even if you simply said a bad word about the leadership or the regime.

Favorite TV show(s): Bridgertons, Stranger Things, The Boys, Sandman, Death Boy Detectives, Gen V, Good Omens

I decided to follow his advice and remembered that I always wanted the complete works of my favourite writer, H.P. Lovecraft, in the original language.

So, one day I asked our friend to drive us to Barnes & Noble, and I was looking for a compilation book when I got to this huge awesome table with all American writers de luxe compilations and of course H.P. Lovecraft's was there!!!

It's beautiful, hardcover, with bonded-leather bindings, gilt edging and a silk-ribbon bookmark 😍

I am rather versatile in my writing and reach far and wide to different genres despite keeping my own personal touch.

So far I've written in fics:

Porn without plot (wlw)

I would dare to call Labyrinth of Confusion a psychological thriller

In OG fiction I've written:

So I have written quite the list of different genres :D For fanfic tropes on the other hand, I have a lot I have not written because of preferences or whatnot.

A (novel) genre I have not written would be a pure (murder) mystery or pure horror. I've not read any horror outside Lovecraft so I don't feel confident in writing that. A murder mystery would be fun to write, but I have no interest in reading them, so I don't know how well I would perform writing them. A pure letter format would be fun too, but I don't think a fic reading audience would accept a letter fic on AO3.

Socmed fics on twt/tumblr would however be gobbled down and THAT is a genre I would LOVE to try out 😍 Too bad it requires a lot of storage on the phone (and I hate working/typing on the phone hahah) and there is not a simple enough function to upload them (I dislike twt's bad thread functions, and tumblr would not work optimally, and AO3 would require coding to get the images in). It's simply an effort I don't think I can do when I am so used to writing traditionally. But man it would be fun.

Bungou Stray Dogs is a pretty good show! I like it a lot and it's really interesting to watch. Even if I'm frustrated with the current arc lol. But it does have violence (it's a seinen, so it's intended for an adult audience), and themes related to suicide and abuse. It's a mix of both, like, really intense moments and comedy. I'd say definitely read a summary of the series first before going in just to be safe if you're sensitive to those kinds of themings, though.

It's also fun because all the characters are named after authors, and their abilities are named after some of their most popular works (or a reference to it). Uh, like, Jojo is for songs but for books.

This is all to preface and explain why the fine babe is named H.P. Lovecraft, btw. That's his name.

WRITING GOALS:

i wrote 3,000 words my first year in the fandom. i wrote 147,000 words this year. i would like to see an improvement in my impulse to post before i'm done with a fic ... but i don't think i'll set a goal in count. (i remove more words in my editing than i add ... tbh) but i would like to see an improvement in how i write. my main goal THIS YEAR will be to wrap up the fics i currently have in the works (and resist!) the plot bunnies until i have caught up on Juxta.

i may have to throw some of the bunnies out for adoption, so i can enjoy them but not have to write them ... haha!
