THE  BASICS.

NAME :   Илья Николаевич Куракин (transliterated) Illya Nickovetch Kuryakin AGE :  30 in 1956 ZODIAC SIGN :  Leo ONE GOOD TRAIT :  Inetlligent ONE BAD TRAIT :  Guilt Ridden

HABITS.

ONE BAD HABIT :  Illya will eat off of other people’s plates if they are dining with him. Usually he has enough sense to stop himself but if he’s relaxed when he reaches over he doesn’t think to pretend to be reaching for salt. ONE GOOD HABIT :  He mindlessly gives money to beggars when he passes them. Even in Rapture where it’s supposed to be every man for himself. ONE HABIT THEY CAN’T BREAK :  Illya notes doors and other such forms of egress every time he enters a room. He’s done it since he was around 12 years old and he’s never had reason to stop. ONE THEY’VE BROKEN :  He used to spin his ring three times as he began conversations. Most never noticed it but due to his profession he decided it best to end the habit lest it be figured out. WHAT THEY’RE AFRAID OF :  Failure

FAMILY.

THEIR PARENTS NAMES :  Fantina and Nicholai THEIR SIBLINGS NAMES :  Lillai and Syeira FAVOURITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY :  When Lillai had her daughter Anna, Illya held the baby almost all night without rest so that his older sister could sleep. Anna would wake up and start getting fussy and he whispered her a little lullaby and at about four in the morning she woke up, blinked at him, and giggled.  FAVOURITE CHILDHOOD TOY :  He didn’t have so many toys to be honest. He never even really missed having them. Mostly he liked to just play with his sisters whatever game they devised for themselves. EMBARRASSING STORY :  Fantina will laugh as she recounts the time that Illya, around the age of 8, was running around and not listening to what anyone said to him and as he went to hide from his father he ducked into a place he should not have. He was almost as red as Juliya and her older sister Charani who had been changing at the time when he’d unknowingly barged in on them. They were in their underthings but Illya certainly screeched as he ran back out apologizing. The girls found it funny long before he did. He couldn't look either in the eye for almost two years. FAVOURITE FAMILY MEMBER :  Anna, his older sister’s baby. A STORY ABOUT THAT FAMILY MEMBER :  When Anna was just starting to toddle around on her own she would follow Illya around chanting his name. It was one of the few words she knew and she said it all the time. When she caught him she’d continue chanting his name and bouncing as she held onto his pant leg until he picked her up. Most of the time when he did it was accompanied with a bright smile and spinning her around and asking her where she’d been this whole time. Which made the little girl laugh and squish his cheeks.

WHAT  THEY  PREFER.

COFFEE OR TEA ?   Coffee SHOWERING IN THE DAY OR NIGHT ?  Whenever he can. Mostly whenever he gets home. No matter what time it is. TAKING BATHS OR TAKING SHOWERS ?  Showers TV OR MOVIES ?  Movies. He never bothers purchasing a television WRITING OR READING ?  Reading. He’ll read every book he can get his hands on PLATONIC OR ROMANTIC LOVE ? According to Illya he doesn’t fall into Romantic love (we all know he’s kidding himself). So Platonic. Ideally no love ICED TEA OR LEMONADE ?  Lemonade ICE CREAM OR SMOOTHIES ?  Ice Cream CUPCAKES OR CAKE ?  Cake. The variety available once you add decoration and layers to cake vastly outweighs the convenience of a cupcake BEACH OR MOUNTAINS ?  Whatever. He doesn’t have a preference. The beach makes him think of old friends, the mountains his family.

FAVOURITES.

SONG :   Waltz for Debby by Bill Evans BAND :  Modern Jazz Quartet (if the mun did the research correctly and they are from the correct era) OUTFIT :  Dark slacks, Black turtle neck, Black shoes. PLACE :  Outdoor cafe’s. Particularly somewhere sunny. He doesn’t care where precisely. MEMORY :  Lillai and him picking Syeira up together and pretending they were gonna throw her in the river. She was laughing/screaming and they were laughing and swinging her back and forth. Inevitably all three ended up in the river and got a stern talking to, particularly Lillai who was supposed to be too old for that sort of thing. It was worth it. PERSON :  No one *cough SoloOrSinclairDependingOnVerse cough* MOVIE :  He doesn’t care so much. He’ll go and watch them but as a rule he just doesn’t care SHOW :  None.

Truth time. These were my fist and second designs for the designated bad guy of the campaign one of my groups just finished. Yes. It was Lillai. BUT. You were so suspicious of her that I deliberately changed the plot and make her a good guy. So now she is and you got discount dragons as the big bad because you refused to play my „it was her all along game“. I still love her to bits though.
