The ink on this letter is spilling all over the page, just like my heart—again and again.

I’m in the middle of moving, and one of my friends found that old photo of you and me. You should see it by now—a few years will do that. It’s crumpled at the edges, and the color isn’t that good anymore, but oh, the memories it holds. They never leave.

My therapist said writing to you when I feel overwhelmed with missing you is good for my mental health. I don’t know—the verdict’s still out on that. But it helps. Sometimes, it even feels like you’re getting this. Like you’re reading it... watching over me.

Anyway, I couldn’t talk about it when Julie asked who you were to me. The words just tumbled out: “Just someone I used to know.”

And it crushed me.

Because I couldn’t tell them. Couldn’t say it was the man I was supposed to spend forever with.

The love of my life.

The Dean Winchester.

A man who loves pie, old motel rooms, and classic rock bands. Who prefers a greasy burger over a salad any day.

The man who wore his dad’s leather jacket like some kind of keepsake—some reminder of what not to be.

But for me? It was just another thing that made you you.

Oh—by the way, Sammy’s doing good. I still check in on him… them. Baby number two is on the way, and he’s over the moon about it.

But I can tell—he misses you.

1. Between 7 and 5, who did you bias first?

Changbin! But only because skz was the first group I ever got into so he had the benefit of time even if he wasn't my first skz bias. Seokmin, on the other hand, claimed that title for svt and never let go.

2. Between 2 and 6, who are you more attached to?

Minho. I... Yes... Minho.

3. If you were to spend the day with either 3 or 1, who would you choose and what would you do?

THIS IS TOUGH. I've been mulling this over for hours and I can't think of a proper answer. I feel like I would enjoy just being in Jaeyoon's presence for a day but I feel like I would enjoy doing things with Minhyuk, y'know?

4. What is your favorite physical feature about 9?

I want to say Zuho's smile but that's true for most idols so I'm going to say his tattoos! I am a thigh tattoo enjoyer and they are so sweet (and actually look good) 😭 man really loves his group and also probably forgot too many birthdays in his time.

5. What is your favorite part of 6's personality?

I love how sincere Yeosang seems to be. I can't even properly express it but there is this soft-heartedness about him that reminds me a lot of my sissy and while we never know what idols are truly like, he gives off an inner light that feels very genuine and gross emotions but I'm very soft for him okay???

6. If you were to tell 8 anything you wanted, what would you tell them?

More emotions? Ughhhhh I would tell Lee Jinki that he brings so much warmth and joy to other people's lives and I hope he treats himself with the same love and care. I would tell him that I can't imagine being a leader, let alone for a group with the longevity and popularity of Shinee but he's done so well. I would tell him that Circle is a fucking great album.

7. Between 1 and 2, whose closet would you raid?

Neither really? I'll go with Minhyuk just because I'm sure he has some good sweaters or t-shirts or whatever. I just imagine Minho with a lot of golf shirts.

8. What is a style that you want to see 3 try?

I do not have an eye for styling so I don't know how to answer this question. Do whatever makes you happy Jaeyoon 😘

9. Between 5 and 4, who are you closer to in height?

Short kings what's uuuuuuup. According to the interwebs, Jinhwan is slightly shorter and that makes him closer to my height.

10. Between 10 and 9, whose music do you like the best?

Okay this is v interesting. Taeyong has a lot more solo music compared to what I've heard from Zuho and, in general, I enjoy it and the different sounds he plays with! In saying that, Zuho plays a bigger role in SF9's music between writing and producing and I love it. So I really appreciate one's solo stuff vs one's work for his group.

I just finished reading all of nabi's scenarios and I already love her. I've only had nabi for half an hour but if anything happens to her I'm gonna k everyone in this room and then myself 😤🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

OUCH sorry mica this ask must have slipped somewhere i didn't see it. if i'm not mistaken this one is for something music related and makes me happy, right? so this CD is it! one of the prettiest cd design i've ever seen, really this photo doesn't even give it justice. as a physical media supremacist this makes me SOOO happy. shinee coming back after 3 year military hiatus with an album so beautiful, literally bop after bop. i really miss that shinee style harmonizations and strong vocal delivery at the chorus and this album makes my wish come true. i like almost all songs in this, once i really want you plays mental ilness PAUSED!! we jamming. my faves are i really want you (!!!!!!), area, don't call me, body rythm, atlantis (and the MV is so pretty!), attention, heart attack, and kind (the live small desk concert-ish version is even better). so this got long i'm putting the love gushing under:

anyway shinee never slacks on the vocals they sounds so good back in 2008 and they have grown so much on that department. jinki have always been a golden vocalist™ but this year he sounds even better, which i thought wasnt possible before. straight up heavenly. kibum is serving absolute cunt harder than ever and he doesn't seem to ever run out of his youthful energy even now that he's 30 (not that 30 is old but he literally doesn't ever look tired even in 3 hour long concert, which is baffling). i'm also LOOOOVE the fake reality design he did, it's a shame that they didn't include it in the MV. minho my ming FINALLY get some lower notes, seems like they start paying attention to baritones. ming also wrote area and it got greenlighted without editing, a fact which makes me so happy. taemin's vocal transformation is probably the most dramatic and satisfying in the entire industry from having 0 lines at the debut and now he's strong enough to cover jonghyun's legendary high notes and he shows it so well in this album. someone said that taemin is probably jonghyun's greatest legacy, and ngl that makes me tear up a bit. jonghyun really did raise that kid well. i'm not very sure what jonghyun did in this album but he did spectacularly, as always. aside from that i love how they honor him, like making space for him in the choreography and giving them 5-gated entries at music shows.

also this just in: the album is nominated for album of the year, the only boygroup (manband?) album in the list (4 others are female soloists that i also like, this is what i mean when shinee is a honorary girlgroup. because girlgroups never slacks on the music and shinee is one of the few boygroup that also does). in short, i love shinee <3 can't wait for them to be back <3 <3 <3
