If these are what my heroes look like I'm 99% certain I'd be screaming and running the other way. Menacing cryptid-looking grim reaper and cursed psychic clay doll. I love them.

i REALLY want rika to encounter one of these. the name sounds very eerily similar to ariel which, combined with its depressed appearance and the necklace, leads me to believe it's based on the little mermaid, both the og grim ass tale (explaining how sorrowful the design is) and the disney movie (can't recall if the og tale had a necklace as a plot point, but it fits).

i can imagine it being a ghost/water type, with something about it having to do with singing like mermaids do, maybe being the ghost of someone/a dog-like(?) pokemon that drowned at sea or something.

#like. yknow ?#sorry ive hit that point of hyperfixation where i have to give everyone a pokemon team n this wouldnt leave my mind #unovan/regular is Akiras n hisuian is Akechis . for obvious reasons #if u know pokedex entires n movepools etc etc #the fact that they also match their color schemes is a happy accident #i have a lot of ideas for these 2...........#also just appreciating hisuian zororark for a sec. what a gorgeous fucked up creature im so glad they had zoroarks og creator make it too #i love their signature moves too.... night daze n bitter malice......#their stats n types match p well too tbh. hisuian is technically stronger (in special attack) and faster #unovan is a balanced mixed attacker and its dark type gives it an edge against hisuians ghost type #and unovans dark type n better physical attack can mirror Arsénes 2 main attack types #while hisuians ghost and normal types can be compared to curse and either phys or almighty damage #unovan and hisuian zorua are called the tricky fox pokemon and baneful fox pokemon respectively #unovan zoroark tends to stay in packs n is protective of others of its kind and hisuian will attack so fiercely that it harms itself #i. really like zoroark. can u tell #BUT YEAH i just think that. yeah #even hisuian zoroarks origins could be similar to Akechi if u squint hard enough #n both of their illusionary abilities can be compared to both palace stuff n the third semester........#also . that one unovan Zoroark dex entry that talks abt ppl who are lonely asking Zoroark for illusions of others. MY favorite one is a ditto who cant get the texture right so if u touch them they r still blobby #!#aaand imo i think all dittos have at least one thing off with their transformations.. they can be trained out of it but it takes a lott of #work. idk if thats canon but it is to me #theres also i believe the smash ditto. who seemingly cant changeits color when transformed.. so theres one !!#another one i think this might be canon !? is a ditto who cant change size. so itis always mini . finally got some time to finish these guys up! which is sort of ironic considering I started these because I wanted to draw Malleus with a Dragapult, and then I just didn't for a million years!

Malleus has the aforementioned Dragapult, except it's a super special non-canon color Dragapult (like an anime-only form that you could get in-game exclusively through some limited-time event where you have to show up in-person at a specific location in Japan) (it has some wacky overpowered exclusive move/form and the OT is listed as Malleus) (so like that kind of ridiculous specialness) (Leona is extremely salty about this). also hoards and hoards of Dreepy. Dreepy LOVE Malleus. they take naps on his horns inbetween begging him to throw them across the island at mach speeds.

Lilia has a Drampa and a bunch of Woobat that he hasn't actually caught, they just follow him around in swarms because they sense a kinship with him. (also breaking my own rule again to say that he had a Mawile in the past, because...I just really wanted to give him a Mawile...)

Sebek has Sandile for obvious reasons, and also a Pikachu that bullies him relentlessly. :(

Silver has a shiny Corvisquire; I really went back-and-forth on also giving him an Aegislash, but...hm. those pokedex entries though. he can stick with just one for now.

(I hadn't planned on the shiny for him, but after I'd decided on the Corvisquire line and was looking it up for reference, I realized that shiny Rookidee is gold and then turns silver when it evolves and I lost my entire goddamn mind)
