i mean. i know thalassa is likely never coming back...and if she does im sure theyre going to kill her bc "oh drama!!!" but like. it never fails to make me sad to think about how unlike the other charas...thalassa didnt get to heal and get better. sure, she got the surgery and all ( which i still think is a v shitty development for a blind character.... ) but after living a whole different life as lamiroir and then getting her memories back she just...left. do i hate how the whole avoiding telling your children theyre related thing happened? yeah! is it justificable? nope! but at the same time thalassa gramarye has had such...a horrible life? her dad was shit, the man she loved n ran away with to a better life DIED leaving their child behind. and when she comes back...the whole zak thing happens which absolutely disgusts me! then the incident and after that, thalassa gramarye doesnt exist anymore! magnifi sends her off, no memories, a whole new life. which is probably everything thalassa wanted but when she cant even remember that the only thing lamiroir wants is TO KNOW more about her past. i feel like genuinely thalassa would be a good mom for the sibs like...trying to get to know them bc god theyre her children!!! plus considering how her relationship w her dad was and the whole trauma, i really do feel the whole "i cant tell them, not yet" is just lazy writing and done for suspense or whatever...bc fuck! i really do think shed do the best she can 4 the kids if they allowed her to...
