Ahhh it's hard to pick, I love so much about Bajoran worldbuilding! First of all the non-linearity of their religion is SO COOL & mind-blowing to think about, & I really love the way it- by its very nature- allows you to re-contextualise so much of the show's lore. Like- is Joseph Sisko written into ancient Bajoran prophecies thanks to his non-linear affair with a Prophet?? Do those prophecies inform or influence traditional archetypes of love in Bajoran culture?? Did Kira grow up learning about an archetype of corporeal love based entirely on Joseph Sisko, the father of an alien man who would decades later become her boss??? I don't know!! But I can write fic about it!!! (And then not post it!!!🙈😂) I do headcanon that dominant Bajoran cultures all have strong archetypical figures, it just makes sense to me given their caste system & that "three brothers" story Kira tells Ben & just how much emphasis they as people place on roles and duty and their place in the world (and on their world). I also love the recurring theme that they greatly value (and like, listen to) their planet. They talk about Bajor like it's a living organism, one big ecosystem they are all a part of, and whenever there are floods, famines, earthquakes, etc, they pay attention, as if its a bug in the immune system- such an interesting contrast to Cardassia, where they plundered their own resources & then came for others. There's this whole collective spiritual (rather than strictly political or social) connectivity that I find very fascinating- something about Kira thinking of herself as simply an empty "vessel" to the powers that safeguard her planet & connect her to her fellow Bajorans. It makes me wonder about their large diaspora, & the sort of pain Bajorans like Ro may carry around over that forced separation. Oh, and that they have Fire Caves. Like those Fire Caves were really just hanging around the whole time huh. Also that Proper hasperat is apparently supposed to be made with a brine so strong your eyes water. So that's five things!

2. I also think Lenara's purple formal dress was really pretty! And most of Quark's outfits are killer tbh. The detail!

Kira's dress from 'Fascination' was fun- and I like both Winn Adami costumes a lot, the vedek robes with the opera house hat & also the golden kai robes. Again, there's a lot of cool details (esp with that elliptical Bajoran symbol & patterned fabric which the 90s quality completely nukes.) Oh, and speaking of hats- all of Guinan's hats are iconic, and Jadzia's Klingon wedding dress was pretty cool too. Basically I am terrible at choosing things; I just now remembered Spock's Goth Chic robe from TMP and that reminded me SNW has been doing some really cool things with T'Pring's wardrobe-

3. The siskasidy baby!!! I have named this baby so many different things in post-canon fics lol, everything from Jennifer to Sarah to Jadzia ("Jazzy", or "Jazz" for short- I think this is my favourite, given how Avery Brooks seems to be irl about jazz.) I don't think I have any real headcanons about who they grow up to be (I'd love to hear any ideas you may have!) but I did come to terms with Ben missing out on their first year(s?) by imagining he sort of spiritually shares consciousness with several Bajorans over that time period (very much consensually, like this is an experience that allows these Bajorans to walk with the Prophets for a time & also enriches Ben's- and the Prophets'- understanding of Bajoran life) and these Bajorans befriend Kasidy & look out for her and the baby <3

4. Lmaooo I have SO many feelings about this clock. Like WHY did he build a CLOCK. *frantic strings across conspiracy board* I know, I know, the writers were probably just going for something random at the time, it was, at heart, a goofysilly s1 episode that easily could've been on TNG or VOY- but it really does become sort of mind-blowing when you consider it in the grander scheme of Ben's arc. Plus- they kept it in his office throughout the series!! They put it in JAKE'S HOME in the alternate 'Visitor' timeline!! I do think that episode implies their weird behaviours also came from somewhere within them (that's how I like to explain Kira Your-taste-in-men-frightens-me Nerys flirting with Weird Aliens Odo & Dax anyway😂), so I like to think Ben just has this deep ponderance of time & temporality just like. Sitting within him somewhere. The clock was actually from an ancient Gamma Quadrant civilisation whose memories possessed them all, but I still feel like that last shot where Ben sets off the timepiece he (for some reason) built from scratch and lets it tick was Symbolic somehow. Like- this man is part-Prophet!! He was conceived non-linearly his birth was arranged he was always meant to discover the Celestial Temple aka the path to- you guessed it- the Gamma Quadrant!! Something something Events Set In Motion

"I feel your pain Ros!" Becky called as she headed to the vending machine next to the roller-skating rink.

"I started doing your outfits" Roselyn said as she walked up to her. "Are you sure you don't want other colours except black?"

"Hey, I love wearing black clothing!"

"Who are you, Cassandra Goth?!" Roselyn laughed.

A headcanon I have in the series:

The other TS2 neighbourhoods exist in the world of Campbell Quay as I've previously mentioned. (See below image)

I would say that the characters in the series know about the 'popular' sims/people because of TV shows and/or documentaries (eg The Bella Goth disappearance).

I would also say that Sims like Bella Goth are celebrities in their own right, especially what with the mystery surrounding her disappearance!

This might be breaking the immersion for some followers but it's a headcanon that won't be mentioned often, but I felt like it was necessary to make the above joke.

Seriously, whenever I see black and elegant looking outfit, it screams Cassandra Goth to me, as anything elegant and red screams Roselyn and Bella at me.

Pynch! Plant! Dads! Headcanon!

adam never having house plants growing up because *obviously*

but then gansey bashfully gives adam a pothos plant as a housewarming/peacemaking gift once he moves into st. agnes

adam, who never does anything halfway, immediately checks out books from the school library on how to care for houseplants

adam realizing that he is capable of being gentle and caring through his small (but quickly growing) houseplant collection, and using this to counter his insecurities regarding becoming like his father

adam returning home late from work absolutely exhausted but still hellbent on watering and talking to every single plant before bedtime

adam eventually acquiring so many plants that he has to develop a schedule of which plants he gives attention to on different days to make sure he is being fair

ronan finding out adam talks to his plants one night when he follows adam back to the church after a fight and overhears adam muttering to his pilea about his dumbass, stubborn boyfriend who he loves but often wants to strangle

ronan absolutely melting at this, but not letting on that he knows because he doesn’t want adam to be self-conscious about it and stop

from then on, when ronan spends the night at st agnes, he often wakes up the next morning with funny little plants cupped in his hands that couldn’t be found in any of adam’s many many botany books

they put all of the unidentified plants on one table in the middle of the apartment, they call that section mini-cabeswater

ronan buying a bunch of plants for himself, figuring that if he can farm he can certainly take care of a house plant

ronan being undeniably, irrefutably wrong about this fact

adam having to rescue all of ronan’s houseplants from the Barns and Monmouth because they’re dying ro

adam bringing *all of* the plants to college (because he can’t just pick favorites, ronan) and them basically taking over his half of the dorm

the plants reminding adam of cabeswater in a way that aches a little inside his chest and behind his deaf ear

one of adam’s new friends seeing his ridiculous plant collection and forcing him to join the botany club with them

adam secretly adoring it even though he pretends he doesn’t

ronan sometimes mailing adam new little plant samples he dreamed up with ridiculous notes in latin

adam’s friends being infinitely curious about The Boyfriend: Mysterious Giver of Plants but only being able to get out of adam that he’s A Farmer™️ and they went to high school together

adam’s botanist friends asking too many questions about where adam’s boyfriend gets all these weird plants that no one can identify and adam blurting out that ronan is a “rare plant collector”

in adam’s junior year, ronan and his obsession with weird, dead, romantic languages decides to send adam messages in victorian flower language

this is fine and sweet up until the point that adam’s friends figure it out and ronan decides to send increasingly obscene messages in larger and larger bouquets

eventually adam starts blocking ronan’s mail and he (begrudgingly) promises to stop

one summer when adam is back at the Barns he attempts to grow a small vegetable garden and fails miserably for no reason that is apparent to either him or ronan

ronan being smug about this for three (3) weeks

adam permanently moving to the Barns after graduation and ronan and him agreeing that adam will handle the inside plants and ronan will handle the outside plants

at some point ronan loses a bet to gansey and has to go to a local garden club meeting as punishment

the little old ladies in the gardening club being absolutely obsessed with ronan and not being fooled *at all* by his scowl and prickly facade

by the end of the night they had guilted ronan into coming to next week’s meeting and bringing the boyfriend with him

adam and ronan getting so into gardening club that they start hosting the weekly meetings at the Barns

the Barns just bring so full of plants inside and out that everyone wonders how they still find room

Opal being good at both indoor and outdoor gardening to both her dads’ chagrin

Opal taking a particular interest in carnivorous plants, just to be difficult

Hi!! Congrats on 400!! For your matchup and headcanons event, I would like Bungou Stray Dogs from either the ADA or the Port Mafia and Tower of God any male character from season 1 - 2!

I am ISTP and a Gemini. I am a straight female, so I would want my matchups to be male. My fave colors would be teal, orange, and purple. My fave aesthetic would be pastel/cutesy goth. My fave food is sushi. My friends/ family would describe me as quiet, reserved, dirty minded, petty, and caring. I would describe myself as very introverted, the kind of person who may seem cold on the outside, but once I get comfortable, I let loose more. My hobbies are arts and crafts, mostly painting, listening to music, and going on walks. My biggest flaw I think, is my anxiety. My fave thing to do when going out is going to a park that is near my place with ducks and geese and feeding them! My love language is quality time. I am very touch starved but I'm the kind of person who is too shy to initiate it, and kind of tenses when it is initiated, but eventually I'll get comfortable. I can also have days where it seems like I am pushing people away. I can be very distant to even my closest friends, so ultimately I would like someone who can put up with that, hehe.

I’ve managed to wiggle this into my intrumas fic for tsxsides week, but I love the idea character Thomas’ thoughts are influenced by whatever side is nearby, so literally none of them can sneak up on him.  He’ll just be like “hm... I should probably just tell the team I wasn’t able to get all the footage I needed for this week, or I could claim my camera went on the fritz– oh, hey, Janus.”

Also, human au Remus’ job is horny oil painter for the cover of romance novels.  I do not take constructive criticism.

Other stuff I really want to include in a fic / vague wips I have: 

Roman overthrowing his sibling, Patton, as next in line for the throne for the throne, because Logan, who was originally politically engaged to Patton, ended up marrying Roman, and Roman can’t deny his love the throne

A fic about Roman being oblivious about Remus’ ‘secret’ relationship with Logan, his best friend, and the numerous times he walks in on them being all couple-y.  Queue hilarity.  At the end, Virgil asks why Roman’s acting so oblivious.  Roman, deadpan, responds: ‘they’re so busy hiding their secret, they haven’t bothered noticing I’m banging Janus.’

 Dukexiety!!!  I want to write dukexiety so bad, but I can’t come up with anything good for them :(((  (that being said, they probably do graffiti and get drunk together i’m js)

IZ week 2020

so i wasn’t gonna do this because I didn’t think the prompts were very good for writing to, but I remembered the last day’s prompt was “role swap” so I decided to do something small and quick for it. this is all 7 days in one post. the first and last ones are drabbles and one of them is an au idea

Day 1. Angst or Fluff 

Zim’s denial skills are god tier, but even they have their limits.

Drabble. I think this is the turning point for my eventual found family au

“When are you going to get it through your thick head that the Tallests aren’t coming?” Dib flings his arms out wide in his exasperation

“They’re just…!” Zim fumbles a bit, clenching and unclenching his fists. “The Armada is a million light years away! It takes time to travel that far, obviously. It took me six of your months to get here from Conventia and the Massive is further away from here now than that. They’ll come! You’ll see! And then you’ll be sorry!” Zim’s face is drawn tight. He’s tense all over, shoulders drawn up to his jaw, antennae pressed flat to his head, and normally Dib prides himself on reading Zim like an open book, but he’s too far gone in his own annoyance to see the warning signs.

It’s because he doesn’t see these red flags that Dib proceeds to stick his own foot in his mouth with his next words. “Maybe if you weren’t such an idiot and opened your eyes, you’d see the truth—that they dumped you here to get rid of you.”

“YOU THINK I DON’T KNOW THAT?” Zim explodes, planting his tiny hands in Dib’s chest and shoving. The boy lands painfully on his ass. “I’m not stupid, Dib.” His name is spat like an insult. “I know they don’t care about me! Why do you think I try so hard?”

Dib gapes at Zim, looking up at him for once, stunned into silence. “I.” He swallows. “You know?”

“Of course, I know.” Zim’s voice is a low hiss and his eyes are narrowed to slits. “You don’t get banished and then just get over it. You don’t get put on trial to defend your life, forced to relive your worse mistakes, and get sentenced to death, only to be saved by freak miracle, and never acknowledge it happened.” Zim takes a deep breath and crosses his arms over his chest. Dib supposes he means for it to look intimidating, but it looks more like he’s holding himself together. “I’ve always known.”

“Why do you try so hard then? If you’ve always known there was no point?” Dib has to ask, has to know, has to hear the words from Zim’s own mouth.

Zim purses his lips and turns away. “There was always a point.” He falls silent for a moment, one antenna twitching up a bit in thought. “I just… I thought if I was just a little better, if I accomplished something important for once, that… I don’t know, that maybe I’d.” He pauses and grits his teeth. “Maybe if I actually managed to take over this filthy planet I’d be worth something for once.”

Day 2. Be Gay Do Crime (LGBTQA+ headcannons)

Dib is bi/pan/demi-ro, Gaz is lesbian, Zim is ace/demi-ro

Headcanons.

Dib seems like the kind of guy that would both take whatever kind of relationship he could get, but also appreciate it. Dib isn’t afraid to work for what he wants and isn’t afraid of things that are “not normal” so I see him being the type to not care about the gender of whoever he eventually decides to date. However, because Dib’s been burned in the past, he would need a deep and sincere emotional relationship to see someone as a potential romantic partner.

Gaz is just a big lesbian. Girls, man.

Zim is ace all the way baby!!! He’s just not interested, and sure, part of that is me projecting, but it just feels right for Zim to just… not care. He has no interest and doesn’t care for sexual attraction regardless of whether or not Irkens do/can/will have sex or not. On the other hand, Zim has expressed a softer side before and I can see him being able to maybe eventually develop romantic feelings for someone if he actually manages to get close enough to them for those kinds of feelings to even emerge. It would take a lot of time and a deep, meaningful friendship, but Zim has shown he’s capable of love. He just has to let himself feel it.

  Day 3. Fandom Appreciation

Headcanons.

I’m still in the process of thinking about how I wanna go about my found family au so here’s just some initial ideas

After ETF, Zim self isolates for a bit. The florpus hole was his Last Ditch Effort plan and had it succeeded, he knew he would have been destroyed too. He was okay with it. He had made peace with it. However, it failed, and now he’s forced to reflect on said failure

The Massive doesn’t escape the florpus. They’re gone, completely. If they the ship does manage to get out, it’s not in one piece

I initially couldn’t decide if The Trial should come Before ETF or After but I think im gonna say before so the Massive doesn’t have to come back lmao

Before too long, Zim jumps back into the planning/scheming swing of things, but his ideas are never more than petty crimes and being a huge annoyance

Dib gets really annoyed with him and they have a big argument

Zim finally admits to knowing of his own Defectiveness

Dib reluctantly feels bad for him and backs off a bit to let Zim have his space

Zim, however, sees this as a betrayal and redoubles his efforts to get his attention

Somewhere along the way, Skoodge comes back and Zim backs off of Dib a bit, having someone else to focus attention on

Dib eventually begins to offer Zim his hand in friendship (phrased as a truce at first) and they finally make steps towards getting along

They realize they actually really like being friends

Zim eventually realizes that he’s made a life for himself, outside of the Empire

Eventually Zim, Skoodge, GIR, Minimoose, Dib, and Gaz form their own little family and explore space and hunt cryptids

(I love cryptid hunter and space exploration aus holy shit)

 Day 6. What if IZ was a different Genre?

Uhhhh does “fantasy instead of scifi” count?

Potential idea maybe. (oops it ended up being a fantasy/modern magic au haha ooooops)

Instead of being an alien, I had the idea of, maybeeeeee Irkens are like. Elves maybe, or perhaps some kind of fae. (I don’t know much about fae, oops)

Okay bear with me here, this is all coming together in real time.

The Irkens (which is what I’m gonna call their clan or faction or subrace or whatever) still want to be the rulers or something over the humans/other mystical beings. This world of magic is hidden from humans and they live blissfully unaware. There are invaders all over the place, using magic and glamors to trick humans into thinking they’re also humans. Zim is one such invader and just to happens to end up in Dib’s town, whereupon he enrolls in Dib’s school, pretending to be a transfer student.

I have no idea why or how the Irkens invade or what methods they use, but since my biggest experience with elves is through DND, I’m going to say they’re functionally similar to certain DND elf races.

So anyway, Zim ends up in Dib’s class and Zim’s glamor just Doesn’t Work on Dib for whatever reason (maybe Dib passed his Wisdom saving throw while literally everyone else failed, idk) and so Dib can immediately see Zim for what he is.

Dib is still into paranormal type stuff, though in his world, he’s less about cryptids and aliens and more about the magical species/world(s) that he KNOWS exists. His big goal in his au is similar to canon in that he wants to expose it all for recognition and love from his father.

Zim, meanwhile, he just wants to prove himself, just like canon. I can’t decide how I want the Irken hierarchy to go in this au—that’s something to think about later, when I have more time—but whatever it is, Zim is either a) not very good at it, b) not suited for it, c) ridiculed for not fitting in to it, or d) a combination of any or all of these things. (or secret option e) he rejects it but has no where else to go. On the other hand, it maybe be none of these things.)

GIR is here too though he’s probably not a robot. Maybe he’s another kind of magical being, or, hell, maybe he’s just Zim’s little brother. I’d be okay with that.

Gaz can also see through glamors but she just doesn’t care. Tak shows up at some point to get revenge, and Skoodge also shows up at some point to stay with Zim and be his friend.

Zim is bad at blending in at first, but he eventually Does get better, since he’s not totally isolated from other Irkens here and he also doesn’t Look like an alien.

(I’m thinkin’ elves in this au look Mostly human but with a few differences. Since I’m biased and this is MY fantasy world, damnit, elves are just. Really Pretty. Ethereal and elegant and graceful (for the most part—there are always exceptions) and they’re also great at magic. Maybe Zim isn’t all that great at magic, I dunno. I’ll figure something out.)

This ended up being less of a genre change and more of a whole ass au, lol oops

Day 7. Role swap

Chanting: human zim au human zim au human zim au human zi

Drabble. This is for an ongoing species swap au that i’ve had in development for the last few years. i haven’t posted anything for it yet, but I’ve thought about it a lot

Dib freezes as Zim points the plastic water gun at his head. Zim’s eyes are narrowed, lips pursed, and he adjusts his grip almost nervously. Behind him, Gir is holding a bucket full of water balloons and a pair of neon green star shaped sunglasses. It’d be cute if Dib wasn’t aware of how painful Earth water is to his Irken skin.

Zim finally lowers his gun slightly. “I want some answers, alien.” He looks Dib over with critical eyes. “Who are you really, and why are you here?” He reaches back and Gir hands him a water balloon with a big smile. “And you better tell the truth or I’ll bust this over your big head.”

Dib grimaces and watches the balloon. “My name Dib, and I’m a scientist. I’m an Irken, from Irk, and I’m here to learn more about life on this planet.” He holds his hands up, hoping to placate the human gesture for surrender. “I’m not here to harm you or anyone else, promise.”

Zim huffs. “Yeah right. I bet you just came here to laugh at the locals.” He puts on a mocking voice and waves the gun and balloon as he speaks. “‘Stupid, stinking humans. They can’t even travel beyond their own moon, yet. What morons. I bet they descended from pigs with how horrible and stupid they are.’” He jams the gun against Dib’s chest. “Tell me I’m wrong.”

Dib bites his lower lip and looks away. He can’t deny he hasn’t thought something similar since arriving on Earth, but Zim didn’t have to be so crude and blunt about it.

The two are at a standoff for almost a minute before Zim blows out a long sigh and steps back. He turns to put the balloon back in the bucket, gives Gir a pat on the head, and shoots Dib one last glare. “Stay away from me, Dib. I have enough problems to deal with without having to worry about whether or not it’s safe for my brother to go to school or if I need to watch my back while walking my dog.”

“I wouldn’t hurt you,” Dib says, a little put out.

Zim scoffs and rolls his eyes. “Yeah, I’ve heard that one before. I know better than to believe it.” He turns and tries to smile at Gir but it comes out a little twisted and sad. “C’mon Gir. Let’s go home and get Minimoose and take him to that dog park you like so much.”

Gir gasps and lets out a cheer. “Can we go get ice cream afterwards?”

Zim gives a little laugh, smile turning a bit more genuine. “Yeah, sounds good.”

As they walk away Dib can’t help but wonder why he ever thought Zim was an Irken himself.

2. which character do you want to be most like?

Oh, shit, probably Leia? She’s so strong and lost so much yet she’s still a leader and she’s a woman who’s not afraid to get angry when necessary with the political skills that could have made her an amazing Chancellor idk she’s just sick as fuck.

3. which character are you actually most like?

Anakin cause I’m an over emotional disaster who gets too attached to everyone lol.

4. what headcanon will you defend to the death?

Space Britney Spears IS real and she’s literally just Britney but with more sparkles.

Jk but a more serious one is that Anakin’s divine half shows through his eyes. Like, it’s more an animating fluke than anything else but in the really early seasons of Clone Wars Anakin’s eyes have a tendancy to reflect light weirdly and almost glow. So, spurred on with the Sith-eyes idea, I hc that Anakin’s eyes kinda have a weird shine/glow to them when he’s really in tune with the Force? Idk it’s dumb but I love it.

Oh and AELB. I live and die by AELB.

5. what planet would you most like to visit?

Big fuck uh

Probably Coruscant just because of how much history and varying cultures are there? Or Mustafar bc not only of the cool ass lava but also I wanna see if Vader’s edgelord castle really does look like a super goth 24 year old’s interior design.

11. who is the most underrated character?

Quinlan Vos by far. The man was literally the star of the Republic comics, and he gets one Clone Wars episode and a (pretty bad) novel? Not only that, but he’s really pushed to the wayside by fandom when he’s so amazing. He’s got unique powers, he’s a royal(ish) descendant, plus he’s got a sick character design and a bad boy reputation? This man should be known and loved by all I’m just sayin.

 14. what is your favorite alien species?

I think Togrutas? Idk I love their designs and how they have a very developed culture and also some sick physical traits (give Ahsoka fangs u cowards). Tbh I really wanna know what a togruta skeleton looks like now.

16. which movie/episode have you watched the most?

Oof good question. I think the Hunt for Ziiro is my most watched Clone Wars episode, and movie wise it’s… Attack of the Clones? Or Phantom Menace.

Tbh now is a great time to confess I cannot sit through the end of Revenge of the Sith. It’s just so… visceral and painful and really hard to watch. I always walk away after Cody gets order 66.

25. which character do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Oof that’s a lot to unpack. Anakin, obvs, but also Obi-Wan too. He’s so easy to love and fun to write with but at the same time I hate what he did on Christophas (fuckin war criminal) and how he was in the end always obedient ro the Council, even when their decisons were horrifying (Ahsoka’s trial, the whole damn clone army), how disregarding of others’ emotions he was, especially Ahsoka and Anakin, two young people still looking up to him as a mentor and a friend and breaking their trust again and again(Rako Hardeen, Ahsoka’s trial again) as well as not killing Anakin on Mustafar. He went there, knowing Anakin had to get taken out, and couldn’t do it. He knew he couldn’t. One more swing of his saber and we could have avoided thousands, millions of deaths by Vader’s hand. He also put Padmé in grave danger by hiding on her ship and coming out, likely being able to sense Anakin’s minefield of emotions and still walking out there without protecting Padmé, leaving her and her unborn children to Vader’s wrath. At the same time, he’s done really good things for the Republic, helped Luke to truly start his journey, is a fucking amazing swordsman, has a killer wit and accent, and did the best he could to raise Anakin to be a good Jedi. He’s just a really complex character and I go through phases of stanning him and hating him passionately.

Oh, and Palpatine. God, I love to hate him. He’s just so amazingly and glaringly evil you cannot help but watch him chew through scenery in absolute awe. He’s a bad, bad man and I love/hate him in the highest degree.

Right, so I’ve been sitting on this for a few days but friend you do not know how much I love you right now.  

Much like Ros and Kingsman, I can see Vivian having either/both a crossover verse or/and a straight-up AU.

Fact number one because Vivian is very loud about this: she has the worst crush on Integra.  Like, it’s her crush on Ros dialed up a few notches because Integra totally fulfill’s Vivian kink for women in fitted suits.  It’s bad.  It’s really bad.  Thank gods her job doesn’t require her to be capable of actually speaking in full sentences to Integra because that’s just… not going to happen.  Also, literally everyone, including Integra, knows about this crush.

Vivian as a member of the Wild Geese please.  For all the same reasons she joined SHIELD.  She might even like being a Wild Goose better because there’s no ‘are we actually the good guys or not?’ existential questioning to do.

Never-actually-grew-out-of-her-Goth-’phase’ Vivian, who first read Dracula when she was 10 despite her father’s objections, who has seen pretty much every vampire movie ever made in English, and who has read all sorts of Dracula lore, upon being hearing about Alucard: “…You mean Dracula, right?”

Just wants to pat Seras on the head and tell her jokes to see her laugh.  100% attempts to organize sleepovers.  V. jealous of Seras’ strength.  May swoon a little when Seras lifts the Harkonen II.

Avoids Alucard as much as possible.  Is properly freaked out by the fact that she’s not sure he actually has a proper body so much as he’s wearing one for everyone’s comfort.  Also does not approve of Alucard just randomly leaning out of walls.

Has she slept with Pip?  Who the fuck knows at this point; they’ve been joking about it for so long that they’ve both actually sort of lost track of what’s truth and what they’ve made up to fuck with everyone else.  

Hasn’t set foot in a church since her father’s funeral, but will be the first person after Integra to declare herself a proud Protestant.  Actually hisses like a cat whenever Section 13 is mentioned.  Will probably be killed by Anderson some day with the same concern most people give to swatting a fly.

ETA: Pip and the rest of the Wild Geese totally got her to start smoking.

I have a couple of character asks for you - Roselyn and Zoey!

Thank you for the character asks @pixeldolly ! You chose Roselyn Young and Zoey Cooper so here are their responses!

Let's start with Roselyn!

Sexuality Headcanon: Bisexual - she's been with both men and women in the past but has only had 'serious' relationships with males.

Gender Headcanon: She is Cisgender (female).

A ship I have with said character: I'm shipping the Roselyn/Zoey ship!

A BROTP I have with said character: She gets on with quite a few people, having always been a confident individual who isn't intimidated easily. Feisty is another word that comes to mind to describe Roselyn. She is best friends with her elder sister Emily and is happy to support her whenever she can, hence why she's helping out with the restaurant. She gets on well with her ex-boyfriend Jasper Morgan who is her closest male friend in town. She also gets on extremely well with their founder Althea.

A NOTP I have with said character: Her relationship with Jasper is well and truly over but thankfully they had a very amicable breakup, especially given they are in a very small town where everyone knows and talks to each other! I know various people liked the idea of Roselyn getting pregnant from Jasper before their breakup but Roselyn is very serious about her birth control. It also doesn't fit Jasper's character to have children outside a dedicated relationship. Roselyn is not fussed about having children herself, she has no desire to help populate a town like her sister does!

A random headcanon: I LOVE the map that @potentialfate-sims made up for her series and I believe the various maxis and fan-made sims are all in the same world as the folk in Campbell Quay. So, for example, Pleasantview exists in the 'world' my sims live in. Sounds really obvious to say it as it's the same game. They just don't interact as I like having my own ideas and creativity flow. This would also help the immersion in my head about Ellen Ripley moving in from a neighbourhood/university that actually isn't in my game. I'm not exactly sure whereabouts CQ will be on that map however, anywhere next to a big river! 🤣 I would also love it if @moocha-muses 's Owl Creek and @pixeldolly 's Walden was canon as well!

General Opinion over said character: Roselyn has a past and I've barely scratched the surface so far. Half of it I'm not 100% sure of yet but I let my characters speak for themselves. What I love about Roselyn, other than being a walking model of Bella Goth, (red outfits/black hair) is that you can already see how far she has come. She was very confident, physically and as a person when she first moved to CQ. Now, through her past experiences and her love for Zoey, you see a gentler but insecure side of her. Hands down one of my favourite characters to write. Random fun fact, I pronounce her name Ros-Lyn. (silent E)

A ship I have with said character: As stated above, I ship Zoey with Roselyn. In many ways, they compliment each other and they both have quite feisty tempers.

A BROTP I have with said character: Besides Roselyn, Zoey has had very few females friends that didn't become lovers or distant before she moved to CQ. She gets on well with everyone in town and is actually *spoiler* becoming good friends with the newer females in town.

A NOTP I have with said character: Her engagement with Tyler. If you're up to speed with the series, you know why. Tyler fundamentally is quite childish and not in the way that is acceptable, especially for an expectant-father. Zoey is at the exasperated stage or anger where she is fast losing the faith that he will be there to support her at all. I think we're all feeling the same to be honest.

A random headcanon: Also I am not sure what date/year to mark each of the events other than the seasons/years. I think that breaks too much immersion in my eyes, and I don't think I'm the only one who thinks that.

General Opinion over said character: Zoey is sweet, kind and very caring. Great characteristics in a person who still dreams of becoming a fully qualified doctor. She is also a massive fan of pets and is considering getting a cat. Ever since she was a child (and both her parents are in the medical profession) she wanted to be a vet. But when she realised some of the depressing facts of being a vet, she reconsidered and decided on healing people instead.
