male reader x Giselle a/n: spoilers, but this story contains topics such as death and grief. Word count: 19k
You owe your life to Giselle. This is not an exaggeration. This is also not a metaphor. This is not even some poetic way she saved you—though it will end up that way too. No, this is fact.
-
There’s a loud, wet plop that reverberates from your attic bedroom, to the stairs below it, into the kitchen and finally stops near the front door as Giselle releases the head of your cock from her plump and peach colored lips, her cheeks hollowed out to make the noise reach every corner of the house it previously was never allowed to.
“I’ve always wanted to try that,“ Giselle giggles, her bright pink hair falling over one eye as she tilts and looks up at you with a gaze that claims this was somehow the most important task at hand and she just had an obligation to find out. It wasn't and she didn't.
If the promise you made was anything to go by, that honor would be bestowed upon studying for your midterms. And if it makes any difference, you did study at first, you really did. It started with you on your bed, reviewing your notes in between peeks at your girlfriend. Giselle at her desk—your desk, actually, but when she was here, it was hers, like everything you owned—lazily swiping a highlighter across her paper, making it very clear she had no interest at all in the economy of post-war Europe.
In your defense, you were still just on your bed. It was Giselle who was now lying between your legs, her hand softly clamping the base of your cock, resting her cheek against the inside of your thigh, looking up at you like you are the most interesting thing in the world.
You’re not.
You’re just some guy who told his parents he couldn’t come along on the Disneyland trip because he had to study. “You’re staring.” She interrupts your self-indulgent train of thought.
“I was just thinking about how I gave up Disneyland for this.”
She raises her eyebrows, feigned shock playing at her face before she stifles a grin you can’t help but catch. “Wow,” she lilts through a chuckle. Giselle has this way of making her eyes bigger than what you could possibly take in, and her mouth small and pouty which conjured a magnetic attraction that kept pulling you towards her in a way none of your physics books could explain whenever she was acting mock-offended. Mock-wounded, even.
A small gap between her lips allows hot breath to escape and hit you where it burns, and she has the audacity to let the grip she’s maintained on you soften, those eyes professing innocence and claiming she’s not currently casting a spell on you from which there is no escape.
“You gave up Disneyland for this?” she repeats, and her voice is all incredulous scandal and disbelief, making her out to be some second-rate plastic junk prize at a carnival and not the single greatest thing to ever happen to you.
You sigh, succumbing to her spell with an arm over your eyes. “Don’t act like you don’t know exactly why I stayed. It was your idea in the first place.”
“Oh, I know why you stayed,” she purrs, the weight of her chin pressing into your thigh as she makes herself comfortable, her soft hand squeezing a little tighter and then not anymore, “but I still want to hear you say it.”
“Do you?”
Her grip tightens, your life in her hands.
Your breath catches.
She smiles.
“Please?”
Fucking hell.
Your head drops back against the aptly named headboard, your eyes open peering at the love of your life from a tiny gap beneath your arm. “Because you’re here, and we can be as loud as we want.”
She hums, pleased, pressing a kiss against the very tip of your dick. “Good answer.”
She’s keeping you upright, slow kisses trailing their way down your shaft before you break the spell and foolishly interrupt her. “I still don’t get why you’d even pretend to be shocked.”
“Because it’s Disneyland.” she says in between kisses, like that explains anything. It only raises more questions she’s already giving an answer too, slowing the pace of your pleasure, which you now realise was a stupid mistake. “It’s Mickey Mouse, overpriced churros, dry turkey legs, pirates and ghosts and superheroes and some dumb mountain that everyone pretends is a real landmark.”
With a raised brow, “Space Mountain?”
“Splash Mountain.”
You snort. Admittedly, you wanted to be moaning (as loud as you want, mind you) right now, but this was your own doing and you might as well make the most out of it. “They closed it.”
Giselle gasps, not a shred of feign in her shock, genuinely scandalized, and for a moment, you forget she still has a hand wrapped tightly around your cock.
…Almost.
Because now she’s sitting up, straddling your thighs, planting her hands on your chest like she’s rock climbing and you’re her anchor, staring down at you with nothing short of betrayal in her eyes.
“They fucking what?”
“Yeah, they closed it,” you repeat, trying very, very hard to not be distracted by the fact that she’s fully naked, fully on top of you, and somehow infinitely more interested in Disneyland’s performative politics than your dick.
“For what?” she demands out of you, her nails digging into your flesh as if you made the call.
You laugh, partly because you can’t believe that it was Splash Mountain that cockblocked you, and partly because you’re helpless to do anything else in front of her. “I’m not sure, I think it was something about racism—”
“Oh, so now they care—”
See, when she’s getting all huffy and puffy, there is something about her waist that suddenly becomes irresistibly grabbable. So you do, and you flip her back onto the bed, changing places and slotting your head between her thighs, effectively shutting her up.
Or at least, for a second.
But Giselle is nothing if not a menace, and she immediately recovers, her hands finding their rightful place in your hair, her thighs pressing into your shoulders as she whispers “Does this mean we’re making our own splash mountain?”
This deserves a groan. “That is literally the worst thing you’ve ever fucking said.”
But you’re still beneath her, staring at her face—a little upset you’re not fucking it but more than happy to let her fuck yours—and when her tongue slightly protrudes between her lips, licking the top first and then the bottom with her eyes fluttering as if they’re spelling the Morse code for “Fuck me,” you can’t help but indulge.
You plant exactly one soft kiss on the inside of her thigh, no more and no less. Her whole body twitches under the contact.
Giselle is beaming.
It’s not the previously worn grin, not the giggly, mischievous, I-just-did-something-chaotic smile. No, this one is worse. This one is far, far worse for you. It’s all teeth, all dimples, all radiant, glowing, pure lovesick joy. It's hard to find a word other than the given, irresistible.
You’ve barely done anything yet, but her eyes are already glassy, her breaths loud and rhythmic, and she’s looking at you with so much goddamn love that it feels like standing too close to the fucking sun. And you give her the same look back, because how could you not?
“I can’t believe you,” she sighs, dreamy, high off of nothing but you.
She’s all yours, bucking her hips into you, surrendering to your touch. You just tighten your grip on her waist, locking her down. “I haven’t even done anything yet?”
“Oh, you know what you’re doing,” she accuses, and she meant to sound annoyed, but her breath halts and hitches halfway through her emphasis on the ‘know’, betraying her, because the truth is that she doesn’t mind at all. The beautiful truth is that she’s hopeless about you, and she knows you know it.
You can’t help it— her grin is infectious, and suddenly you’re beaming too. It’s true what they say about becoming more like each other once you love someone. With that pure lovesick joy, you lean down, letting your tongue barely graze her slit as it finds its mark. You place it right under her clit, and give one brazen swipe upwards before you pull back, making her whine—actually, physically whine—and the sound goes straight to your head like the cheap liquor you are bound to steal from your parents cabinet.
“I’ve always wanted to try that,” you speak softly, throwing her own words back at her, hot breath crashing into Giselle’s sensitivity causing her thighs to tense up against you.
She groans, she tugs on your hair—a punishment you know you deserve—and this time around, succeeds in addressing you as the most annoying person on planet Earth. “Oh my god, I hate you,” she grunts, pushing her hips up against your mouth like punctuation.
“No, you don’t,” you say, without a shred of doubt, tightening your grip on her hips, keeping her exactly where you want her.
Before giving her another chance at a comeback, you dive back in, a lot less reserved this time, planting a slow kiss against her folds.
“No,” she agrees, her nails scraping against your scalp as they curl in your hair, tugging your closer. “I really, really don’t.”
Your tongue responded instinctively to her admission, flattening against her slick folds, slow strokes highlighting every sensitive treasure spot like it's your first time discovering her.
Giselle is intoxicating. A drug that dissolves on your tongue, a spell too sweet to break, a firework that you can’t tear your eyes away from. Her sweaty scent fogs up your head, her taste coating your tongue and lingering there, her hands clutching at you tighter in response to every filthy thing you do to her. Every sound, every twitch, every one of your senses—overwhelmed. She’s got you, and fuck, you’re letting her have you too.
You should be used to her by now. Built up some kind of immunity. But when you sink two fingers inside her dripping cunt, feel her slick against your knuckles, curling up against that perfect spot, and she moans your name—loud, like never before, unmuffled and unrestrained—it's the only sound that makes sense to you anymore.
You freeze.
It’s not hesitation—it’s pure awe.
Her voice is still dancing in your ears, unfiltered and full of affection, louder than either of you had ever allowed before. So used to stifling it with your hands or less savory appendages, but now basking in its unadulterated echoes. And fuck, it’s beautiful.
“Why’d you stop?” Giselle demands, as though you just committed a cardinal sin. You might as well have. Her fingers tangling into your hair, unrelenting, not yanking or guiding—staking her claim on you.
You blink, and you take it all in. Her cheeks, rosy from the blush. Her lips, peach colored and smeared from kissing your cock. Her pupils, wide and hungry, reflect the only thing she wants—you. Everything about her is so fucking beautiful it makes you sick.
“I just wanted to take a moment and appreciate the sounds you’re making.” You murmur, and smirk at the edge of your lips, much to her annoyance.
Her breath halts. Her gaze drops, and then— a scoff. That signature scoff of hers, the one she throws out so nonchalantly when she’s trying to pretend she’s not affected. She clearly is.
“Then you better start working that tongue again before I go mute,” she quips, but the rolling of her hips betrays her. It’s rhythmic, it’s needy, and it’s honest.
With a raised, cocky eyebrow. “Right, that’s why you’re still moving your hips like you’re begging for me to fuck my fingers deeper into you.”
Giselle doesn’t hesitate. She barely ever does. “I don’t beg.”
She’s a wonderful girlfriend, but a terrible liar.
“You do when I make you.”
And right when she’s about to throw something back—something sharp, something clever, something quintessentially Giselle—
Your tongue is on her again. Slow, hooking under her swollen clit, flicking up, before your lips seal around her.
It was that easy. The oncoming verbal onslaught? Gone. The battle of wits? Over.
She gasps—the sound ripping out of her like she wasn’t prepared for it. Her back arches off of the bed, forming a bridge to some goddamn nirvana.
She always has something to say. Something that dares you to keep up. But throughout it all, you love her voice the most when she has nothing at all—when the only thing she can say is your fucking name.
And so you drag it out of her, because fuck, you need to hear that again.
Your fingers fuck into her harder, curling just right, twisting, spreading, relentless. But your tongue? Slow. Cruel. Featherlight flicks. Teasing. Deliberate. The contradiction drives her insane. She chokes on a sound—somewhere between a moan and what she’d never admit is begging—and the way it breaks halfway through makes your cock ache.
“Don’t—” she heaves, pitch rising as she confuses how to beg with how to demand.
She swallows. Tries again.
“Don’t you fucking stop.”
There’s no way you could. Not even when she starts babbling—half words, half nonsense, another half your name, and all desperate for release. Not even when her thighs are quaking, trembling into the side of your head. Not even when her hands have abandoned your hair in favor of gripping the bed sheets, pulling like she means to tear, when her whole body arches off the bed as if trying to ascend towards the pleasure as she chases it.
You feel it.
She’s so fucking close.
It’s in the way she trembles like her legs will give out and the way her thighs clamp tight around your head. Her whole body claiming you in a desperate display of want.
“Oh fuck, fuck, fuck—” Her voice is all throaty, breathless desperation. "Don't stop. Don’t fucking stop—”
Your fingers drive into her harder, curling inside before pulling back out—”come on, baby, fall for me”—while your tongue twists around her clit, making her spiral out of control.
And she can’t help jerking her hips in response, riding against your face, mindless. She needs it, and she’ll have you give it to her.
“God, you—fuck, you love this, don’t you?” she gasps, desperate laughs, almost delirious, rolling her hips down faster and harder, grinding into your tongue. “Love me—love making me lose my fucking mind on your mouth—”
Yeah. Yeah, you fucking do.
“Look at you.” She’s throbbing at this point, panting rapidly, helpless, but somehow mustering a sharp-edged bite through her heavy-lidded stare. “So fucking desperate to make me cum. You like when I scream for you, huh?”
You groan into her flesh, your response vibrating against her clit, and her volume increases, if that was even possible.
“you—oh fuck—you’re so good—so fucking good— fuck, please—please—”
She’s begging now. Even she couldn’t deny it anymore.
“Say it,” you taunt, breaking away just long enough to look up at her and make her desperate, lips drenched in her. “Tell me how bad you need it, baby.”
“I—I can’t—”
You deliver a sharp, fast stroke with your tongue, lethal precision, just to make her sob.
“Say it.”
“Fuck, I need it—need you, need your tongue, your fucking fingers…I need to cum on your fucking face—”
You bring her over the edge. A heartbeat passes. And then she shatters.
A moan? No, a cry, pours out from deep inside her, high and sharp, louder than anyone has ever screamed on actual Splash Mountain. The walls shake with it. Her hands, aimless, uncontrollable, claw at anything they’re given. Your hair, her own skin, her bedsheets—your bedsheets actually, but we’ve been over this—while her body locks up tight, shakes, then crashes down in wave after wave after fucking wave of pleasure.
And through all of the filthy fucking obscenities she’s belting out—your name.
Fucking screamed.
It travels through you like new life, straight to your cock, straight to the part of your brain that wants to fuck it out of her again.
You don’t stop. You should, but you can’t. Keep attacking her, keep pushing her through it, keep drinking her in like she’s your life support.
She twitches, tries to close her legs—too sensitive, too overwhelmed—but you grip her thighs, keep them spread, keep going, keep her yours. Keep her here.
Until she lifts your head with trembling hands.
“Too much,” she exhales, exhausted, wrecked.
You look up at her, her face half hidden under the mounds of her tits, but clear as day. She’s ruined.
Flushed from chest to cheeks, skin sparkling with sweat against the sun dripping in from the window, lips parted, swollen from biting down. Panting. Her hair’s a beautiful mess, fanned on your pillow and tangled across it, pupils blown up with pleasure.
She looks like an angel.
Like she should have a halo, but you’re just too much of a sinner to see it.
But then—she opens her eyes, lazy, dark, and dangerous, and—
Yeah. No. No halo. She’s just as much a sinner as you.
She commands you with such a soft, saccharine sound, you’ve already agreed before hearing the demands. “You’re not allowed to ever do that to anyone else.”
“As long as I have you, that can be arranged,” you smile back.
She collapses.
The bed creaks beneath her weight, and you can feel the way her whole body unwinds in your hands, still rooted firmly just above her hips. For a moment, it’s quiet. Just the sound of her breathing, getting slower and deeper, full of delicious content.
Giselle pushes her elbows underneath her, pushing her upwards. She hums a slow, peachy sound, as she works through her failing legs. And then, just as lazily, just as hungry—
She pushes you onto your back.
It’s not forceful. It doesn’t have to be.
You let her.
You go willingly.
And the second you hit the bed, she’s hanging over you.
She tilts her head, watching you like she’s debating her next step. Her face inches closer to your cock, her lips purse and then—
She kisses your hip bone instead.
Your breath catches. Another kiss, this time lower, but not yet where you’d die for it.
You resist the urge to buck your hips into her face. Barely, but you manage.
“You know,” she muses so sultry, tracing circles against your thighs with her thumbs. “I think I love you the most when you let me take what I want.”
Crawling over you, straddling your hips, pressing her nude, still-trembling body flush against your own. And fuck, you feel it—your heat against her heat, wetness dripping against your stomach, every inch of her soaked and sensitive and ready to devour.
But she doesn’t sink down onto you. Not yet.
Because she’s got plans for you. You made her beg, and she always returns the favor.
She whispers in your ear. “You’re shaking baby,” and you were so confident you had it under control. “You want it that bad?”
Her lips collide against yours, tongue invading your mouth, like she was hungry for a taste. Hers is like peach, and yours is like her.
When she pulls back, her smirk is heavy-lidded, predatory, wicked. A mixture of spit and her cum connects you two, growing heavy, splitting and falling on your bodies.
“My turn.”
Her hand wraps around the base of your cock. Her grip is firm, teasing, all smug satisfaction.
“You can hold out until I get to taste you, right?” She purrs, her voice dripping with playfulness.
You exhale, your eyes meeting her in a determined gaze, dragging your fingers slowly over the curvature of her hips. “You tell me.”
She hums a questioning tune, unimpressed. She takes her time to get her hand moving, stroking deliberate, unbearably slow, luring you out.
Your breath catches for a frame, and—fuck—you know she caught it.
Her lips curl. Smugness oozing off of her. “Right, I thought so.”
She leans in closer, nibbling softly on your ear, moving down, pressing a slow kiss to your throat that lingers. Then another. Working her way down, her free hand following suit over your stomach, fingers splayed and nails grazing your skin like she’s got all the time in the world to make you squirm.
You know exactly where this is going.
And so does she.
“Giselle.” Your voice is low, buckling.
She smiles against your skin, her teeth grazing your flesh, contemplating a bite. “Yes?”
You narrow your eyes, but she just blinks up at you, a quick flutter of those enchanting eyes, all innocence, like she isn’t also stroking you with a lazy, practiced, perfectly tuned in to you rhythm. Like she isn’t sinking lower and lower into depravity—right where you want her—with every passing second.
She has this glint in her eye. You know it all too well by now, she wants to be teased back, to have you push her buttons. Wants you to get impatient enough to forget how much you love her just enough to handle her a little rougher.
And you do. You let your fingers slip into her vibrantly colored hair, slow, dragging through the strands before coming together with just the slightest bit of force at the roots.
She exhales. Or rather, she pretends it’s just her exhaling.
With a soft, tiny little shudder that you most definitely felt, coupled with a moan she couldn’t help but keep in, your lips curl. “Oh?”
Giselle stops. Her fingers, mind you, still against and around your cock, her face perfectly blank, like you didn’t just catch her falling for you.
“Don’t.”
Your grin widens. “I think you just—”
She glares, her grip tightening in retaliation.
And just to shut you up, she ducks her head, dragging her tongue slow and warm from base to shaft to head of your cock, marking her territory with a line from base to tip.
All of your breath and sound tumbles out of you.
Giselle hums, smugness regained, lips glazing against the tip of your cock as she murmurs, “That’s cute.”
She wanted a little rougher out of you anyways, and you’d indulge, fingers flexing in her hair. Then—slowly, deliberately—you strengthen your grip, not enough to really hurt, but enough to tilt her head back, forcing her to meet your hungry gaze.
She gasps, and then her breath catches. Big eyes, asking you what you’ll do next.
You lean in, voice dripping low and quiet. “You love being my good girl, don’t you?”
And the way she shivers? Fuck.
Her lips part, her thighs squeezing together tight, but she’s too stubborn to say it outright. She won’t let up yet. Instead, she presses closer, hanging her tongue out of her mouth as she presses it against the back of your cock, breath warm and teasing, spit drops dripping down to your balls, one by one.
Your jaw clenches, as does your fist, keeping her in place.
She’s dragging this out on purpose.
You give her a quick yank back, and then push her back against your cock, and you mutter, “You know what I want, baby. Give it to me.”
Her eyes flicker. Sparkle, even.
She swallows, licks her lips, wetting them, and finally speaks softly. Her tone insinuates she already knows what your answer will be.
“Make me.”
And fuck—who could resist pushing her forward? Her mouth enveloping the head of your cock, her tongue swirling around and lapping against you. Her hand pressing down firmly against the base of your cock, and vibrations of her soft moans jolting through your dick.
She seems extra hungry today, leaning into her gagging and groaning, reveling in your fierceness, and right as you were about to test her limits even further—
The sound of metal rapidly vibrating against wood. Your phone on your nightstand. You roll your eyes, but Giselle gives you this look that you’d learned to intuit meant “It could be important?” You don’t let up on Giselle’s throat breaking previously set records, but you take a peek anyways.
It’s your aunt. She’s probably just checking up on you, something not important—not as important as fucking Giselle’s face— so you resolve you’ll call her back.
You put your phone back on your nightstand, and you heard it ring, again.
Weird.
-
You haven’t cried yet since the news.
Giselle has barely stopped.
It’s morning—you think, it might also be noon, it’s all a blur—but the light creeping into your room unwanted through the window feels wrong. It’s too bright. Too harsh. Like it should’ve dimmed out of respect.
Your phone still lies on your nightstand where you put it yesterday, face down. Turning it over would mean seeing the missed calls, seeing the texts piling up. You can’t touch it. Just keep staring at it like that might change what’s already happened. Like that might stop the jumbled mess of words your brain can still remember, in your aunt’s voice looping over and over in your head, buried in sorrow, barely making sense through the sobs. “A drunk driver—”
“I’m so sorry, I don’t—”
“All—All passed away.”
And a thought you know you shouldn’t have creeps its way in with the others.
“Stay home from the trip, I’ll make it worth your while.”
You resent her for it, if only for a split second. You can’t think like that. But if she didn’t say that, you might have prevented this somehow. Or not have to feel this pain, being with them. Another split second.
No.
Stop.
Where is Giselle anyways? You turn around, and her warmth is missing. She’s not lying next to you. You close your eyes. Try to suppress the thoughts. It doesn’t help.
There’s footsteps outside your door. Slow, hesitant. Followed by a knock, barely more than a tap.
“Are you awake?”
Giselle. Thank God.
You want to answer, but the lump in your throat stops you. She pushes the door open anyway. She’s a fucking mess. Bloodshot eyes with bags to accompany them, and her hair done in a messy bun, loosely pulled together. She’s wearing one of your hoodies—too big for her, sleeves dark from moisture. She looks over at you, your eyes meet, they linger for a moment, and then drop solemnly.
“I made you something to eat,” she says. It sounds hoarse and strained.
You don’t respond. You wish you could.
She’s hesitating before stepping in. Like it would mean stepping into your grief too, and she isn’t sure if you’ll let her.
But she wants to.
She approaches and sits on the edge of the bed, turning towards you and shuffling the plate your direction. Toast and eggs. It smells like food. The smell of food doesn’t smell like something you can shove down your throat right now.
“You should eat,” she tries.
You bit down on the inside of your cheeks. Stare at the plate like it’s an endless tunnel.
Her eyes can’t seem to find yours, seeking the solace of the window instead. She sniffs once, catches herself, and rubs the tip of her nose with the sleeve of your hoodie before exhaling and speaking. “Just a little, okay? Just—just a bite.”
You take the plate, not out of hunger. It’s just the least you owed her after resenting her for a split second. You break off a piece of the toast and chew. It doesn’t even taste like food, and it’s not her fault. You force yourself to swallow anyways.
She’s trying. For you.
And you hate it.
The plate in your hands is too heavy. You put it away on the nightstand, pulling your knees up to your chest and locking them in place with crossed arms. Your lips tremble against your arm, speaking into your skin. The sound is wrecked and exhausted. Fragile, like—fuck, like what? Like life? “You don’t have to be here.”
Her eyes snap to yours, wide and wet.
“Don’t,” she ekes out, her voice breaking on the first vowel. Her lips press together tightly, trembling as they seal away her words. They part slightly as she shakes her head.“Please don’t do that to me.” She sounds raw. Small. Scared of whatever you might reply with it, if you even say anything. Like she thinks she might not survive this conversation.
Maybe you won’t either.
You drag in a breath, but it’s hard. Like the air itself can feel that you don’t really want it there. Like two metal plates pushing together inside your throat, forcing everything out when it needs to go in. Your body fighting against what you’re trying to make it do, like you suddenly got rewired and need to relearn how to breathe, and it’s so fucking frustrating how even breathing requires thinking right now.
Your arms uncross, elbows against knees and hands rubbing into your face. Press the heel of your palm against your eyes until all you see is static, bursts of color mixed with black, a flickering distraction behind your lids. But it doesn’t do anything. Doesn’t shake it loose, doesn’t take away the building pressure you can feel behind your eyes.
Your family is dead.
And you’re still here.
You should say something
That you didn’t mean it. That you’re just—tired, or lost, or whatever the fuck this feeling is that’s twisting your stomach, making everything taste like nothing and the air feel impossible to muscle down. But the words don’t come, and Giselle is still looking at you like you just asked her to push a knife you held to your chest deeper to finish the job.
Her fingers tighten in the fabric of her hoodie—your hoodie, but who fucking cares at this point? You remember her saying she loved it, months ago, attributing it to how it smelled like you.
Now it probably just smells like salt.
“I wasn’t with them.”
Giselle stiffens.
The weight of what you just let out settles between you both. It’s thick, suffocating, harsh and pressing down on your ribs.
It’s impossible to look at her now.
There’s a breath. Not yours. It’s shaky, coming in three tiny bursts of being pulled into her lungs.
A small pause. Then: “No,” she whispers. “You weren’t.”
And it’s not comforting. You both know that. It's not meant to be.
Your family is dead.
You are alive.
Nothing can change that. Nothing can fix it. And maybe worst of all—you need someone to blame. Anybody to take it out on. It can’t even be that piece of shit drunk driver, he had the sense to take himself out with everyone else.
And you realise you owe your life to Giselle.
“If only you didn’t ask me to stay,” the words tumble out of your mouth before you figure out how to stop yourself, “I could have been with them.”
You’re not accusing her.
Not really.
But it still lands like one.
You don’t know how to take the words back, how to unmake the weight they carry, how to make it so you didn’t open your fucking mouth and let them spill out like venom.
But the feeling doesn’t fade. You should have been with them. If you’d just gone on the trip like you were supposed to, you wouldn’t have to feel this. You wouldn’t have to be here.
You wouldn’t have to be.
And once more, for a split second, for a horrible, fleeting split second, you resent her for it.
Because she asked you to stay.
Because she made you stay.
Because if it weren’t for Giselle, you wouldn’t be in this fucking bed, in this fucking house full of memories, swallowing down a piece of fucking toast that tastes like nothing, thinking about how to fucking breathe, while your whole fucking family—
You found someone to blame. And you hate yourself for it.
The thought is barely even there before you shove it down, bury it so deep inside yourself it might as well have never existed, as though if you push hard enough, you can convince yourself you never thought it at all.
But it’s too late.
Giselle sees it. And she’s looking at you like you just drove a jagged knife into her ribs. And maybe you fucking did. And she’d even let you.
She’s having trouble swallowing it all down, her lips parting, and for a second, you think she’s going to say something—but she doesn’t.
Because she doesn’t see you as wrong. She sees you as right. If only she didn’t ask you.
“It’s my fault.”
You can’t help but physically, viscerally recoil from the words.
No.
That’s not true. That’s not what you think, this isn’t that. That’s not what you meant. That’s not—
“If I just hadn’t—” But it’s interrupted by a sharp inhale, like there’s not enough air in the room to speak the words. Her eyes squeeze shut, maybe so she can’t cry, or so she doesn’t need to look at you, knuckles turning white from how hard she’s squeezing down. “If I just didn’t say anything, maybe they wouldn’t have left when they did. Maybe they wouldn’t have been on that road, at that time, in that moment—”
Her breath hitches again. Her hands unclench briefly, only to grasp at her face, fingers pressing down into her skin around her eyes, shaking.
You feel like throwing up.
Because you’re not the only one with a brain that won’t shut up. With thoughts that won’t stop forming, poisoning, curling inside your skull like parasites burrowing into every action you take, every thought you think.
And for the first time since waking up, you turn to look at her.
Really look at her.
She’s a wreck.
Her face is swollen, but her eyes have it worse. They’re puffy, red-rimmed and drained. Her nose is pink, not from the way she likes to do her makeup, but from rubbing it too much with her sleeves, turning it raw, and her lips have bite marks from where she’s been biting down when she wants to say something, but doesn’t know what.
Giselle never looks like this.
She always carries herself with this effortless sort of self-possession, even when she’s being an absolute menace. But right now?
Right now, she looks like she’s barely staying afloat herself.
“Giselle—”
“I took you away from them.”
Her voice cracks.
You whip your head up so fast your vision starts to swim, like gravity itself is pulling you to the same place you’re trying to hide that wretched thought of yours, and fuck, she’s crying again. And she can’t look at you. Won’t meet your eyes. “You resent me.”
You knew she saw it. You knew she fucking felt it, even in that fucking split second before you buried it, before you even had the time to feel ashamed of yourself, that hate yourself, not her.
But hearing her say it out loud is worse.
“You should hate me,” you mutter.
Her eyes open slightly, and her gaze lands somewhere near you. Not ready yet for landing on you. “What?”
You inhale, sharp and shaky, then exhale just as fast, voice low and wrecked.
“You saved my life.”
You think you meant them, but they feel so, so wrong, because nothing about this feels like being saved. Nothing about this feels like anything but a burning car wreckage and shattered glass from every window it broke and the goddamn sound of your aunt’s voice on repeat, over and over, like a twisted song stuck in your head, one which your brain is desperately trying to make you forget the lyrics to.
And Giselle, she just—
She breaks.
Not like the way she’s been breaking since yesterday, tiny fractures, cracks forming, desperate moments but still holding on.
This time, it’s worse.
She makes this sound—this horrible sound—choked, gasping, sobbing like she wasn’t expecting her body to give in, like she’s hurting worse than what she’d thought was possible, like there was still more grief to pull from her that she was sure she locked away, and collapsing into herself, fingernails digging into her skin and you’re not sure if it’s to hurt herself or hold herself close, like she just needs to hold or be held right now before she breaks.
“I wanted you to stay.”
The admission rips out her, raw and violent and sobbing and so full of guilt it makes your heart feel like it turned to ash.
“I wanted you to stay and I’m sorry and you—” Another sob cuts through it all, her sleeve wiping across her face like she could take the feelings with it as well, the noise of her tears and shattering voice being muffled. But you still hear it, still feel it, and hate it, the way it destroys her.
And then, softer.
“I don’t know how I’d survive if you were in that car as well.”
The confession is small. It’s shaky. It’s honest.
“I think about it every second,” she rambles on, there’s no stopping the confession. “If I just had shut my fucking mouth, you could’ve done something, or been there, or at least not have felt like this.”
Her knuckles whiten from straining them too hard, disgust seeping in her voice as she speaks next. “But I’m glad I didn’t. Do you understand what that says about me? It means I can’t even tell if I’m allowed to be grateful that you’re here, because if I am, does that mean I’m glad your family is dead?”
She’s furious with herself, nails tearing at her own skin as if she wants to rid herself of it all, head shaking furiously. “That just makes me a fucking monster.”
And fuck, it’s suddenly so much worse than the weight of her earlier words, worse than it’s my fault, worse than you resent me, worse than the feeling of your own guilt pressing down on your ribs, because Giselle is—
She’s glad you’re here.
She’s glad you lived.
And she hates herself for it.
And you want to tell her—you really fucking do, if only the words would come out—you want to tell her it’s okay.
Or, that it’s not okay, but that she is. That she shouldn’t have to feel like that, that she doesn’t deserve it, that she has no reason or need to carry, she doesn’t have to bear this kind of weight, she didn’t do anything wrong, that she couldn’t have done anything, it’s not her fault, that she’s allowed to be relieved that she still has you because fuck, you’re relieved you still have her too, and it’s fucking selfish and ugly and it makes your stomach churn but you just can’t afford to lose her too, you can’t, you can’t, you fucking can’t—
But you don’t have the energy.
You wish you did. You don’t.
And it just adds another layer of self-loathing.
Because Giselle is falling apart, and you can’t do anything about it.
So you just sit there, motionless, watching her break, breaking with her.
Her sobs keep coming, louder and wrecked by the minute in this quiet room, and they won’t stop, like she can’t stop imagining what it would have been like if you did leave, like she’s trying to fill the space around you with something less suffocating, but it’s still there, under everything, pressing it’s full weight on you.
It makes your whole body feel heavy.
Like it would take too much effort to move. So you don’t.
You just let her cry.
And eventually, eventually, her breath evens out—just slightly, still ragged, still trembling, still fucking unbearable to listen to, but at least she’s not gasping for it anymore.
She sniffles, rubs the sleeve of your hoodie over her face again, sniffs again.
“I’m sorry.”
Like something just punched your heart.
“No,” you rasp, air you didn’t have being forced out. “Don’t be.”
Her hands disappear into her sleeves, clutching the fabric around her hands, her shoulders curl inward like she wants to sink as deep as possible as she can into your hoodie. Her hoodie? She considers it your hoodie. Makes it more special.
She moves. It’s sudden, but careful.
It’s slow and it’s hesitant. Shifting closer over the bed, closing the distance between you two. It’s careful, like she’s testing if it’s okay with you with every inch. As if she’s half-convinced you’ll push her away. It’s silly. You don’t.
It’s all filled with uncertainty. As if the routines and rituals you’ve built up have all vanished. Hesitating before making her way under the covers. Her arms making first contact and her whole body curling up behind them, trying to make herself small enough to fit against you without you noticing, like she’s trying to just be with you even if you can’t take it right now. Because she needs it, and she hopes you do too. Like she’s still afraid she’s not allowed to belong here.
And her face presses against your chest, somewhere you think your heart should be, her arms wrapping around your body, her breath hot and finally some capacity of steady brushing against your skin.
She doesn’t speak.
She doesn’t have to.
She just holds on.
And you let her. Your arms wrap around her.
Your eyes slip shut, and for a second, you just breathe her in.
But then you hear it.
A voice.
Not Giselle’s.
Not yours either.
His.
“You sure you won’t get too distracted if she stays over?”
Your whole body tenses.
Giselle stiffens slightly against you, feeling it.
Dad.
It’s a fucking disaster, and if you weren’t so desperate to hear his voice, you’d force this memory away in a heartbeat.
You were standing in the driveway as your parents were already packing everything for their trip. Your brother was already burning through his Switch battery on the backseat, letting the world move around him, and your mom was inside packing everything she was sure your dad was forgetting.
“Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to, champ,” he’d said, clapping his giant hand on your shoulder with that booming voice of his barely avoiding leaving a ringing sound in your ears. ”Just make sure to actually get some studying done. If you fail your tests, you’re not even getting an invitation for the next family trip.”
You’d rolled your eyes. Smirked at him, full of confidence. “When have you ever known me to fail?”
His laugh had been loud, warm.
“Don’t act all too confident, we all know Giselle takes care of you.”
And then he’d grinned.
“But for what it’s worth?”
A pause.
A squeeze of your shoulder.
“I feel better knowing you’ll have her.”
You inhale, but it’s the kind that preludes tears.
Giselle presses closer.
And for the first time in twenty-four hours—
Your eyes burn.
-
You can’t tell how long it’s been since Giselle crawled into your arms.
If you were asked, you might even say it’s been forever.
There’s only her, warm and small, slotted in your arms, curled up against you and unrelenting in her grip, like she’s afraid you might cease to be if she lets go. Maybe she’s right. Maybe you would. Maybe she’s the only thing keeping you here, really here, and not slipping into some void you fear you might never escape from.
So your arms tighten around her. It’s instinct more than anything. It’s just, her body is so familiar, should be so comfortably familiar—but this time is different.
You’ve pulled her close a thousand times before. Grabbed her by her waist when she got all huffy and puffy, pinned her against a well or closed door or anything she’d let you, tugged her onto your lap, mouth on her neck, her laugh energizing you and spurring you on. It’s always been a pull with her, a want, a need.
This time, it’s a quiet, desperate hold.
And just like her, you grip tighter, arms holding her as close as space allows, so that you can’t loosen your grip even a little, lest she slip through your arms just like everything else.
She begins to inhale, preparing for something, breaking the quiet trance you’ve been slumbering in. Her warm breath burns against your collarbone.
“I was scared,” she whispers.
Your eyes close. “I’m sorry.”
Her body twists, nudging into you, softer, her grip loosening but not letting any space form through it. “Don’t be. I thought—” The words start spilling out, her eyes pointed upwards searching solace in your face before she regathers herself and tries again. “I really thought you were going to push me away.”
Hearing her voice those concerns makes the pit of your stomach turn upside down. “I need you. I couldn’t.”
“You didn’t,” she exhales, hesitation making the air come out in stutters. There’s not a lot of her signature confidence present, as if she’s scared that saying it out loud would jinx it. “But you—you barely even looked at me. And I—I Didn’t know. I didn’t know if you wanted me—wanted me here or if you just—” she shakes her against you feverishly. “I didn’t know.”
You can’t blame her. You haven’t been sure what you want yourself.
You did pull away. Told her she shouldn’t be here. What the fuck was that even about?
It wasn’t because you didn’t want her here. Not because you don’t need her.
It’s the fucking weight of all of this—the sheer, unbearable fucking weight of existing in a world without them—felt like it would be easier to carry alone. Or easier to escape if you were alone.
Deep breaths. Slow breaths. You press your lips to the top of her head.
“I love you,” you murmur.
She doesn’t respond, pausing. She probably doesn’t know what you want from her, again.
“I know you know that. But I need you to hear it. So you know.” Your hand presses onto the small of her back, and she gives in. It’s not rough, not hard, not tight, but just enough that she knows you mean it. “I love you. You’re the only one I have left that I can say that too.I can’t bear the fucking thought of losing you too.”
Her shoulders tremble and she pushes her away from your chest, just enough to be able to look in your eyes. “You won’t.”
You want to believe her. God, you want to believe her.
But you thought your parents were permanent, too. Or at least more permanent than this? Thought your little brother would be stealing your shit until you left the house, and then some. Thought there would always be another Christmas, another birthday, another vacation, another tomorrow.
Your fingers rest on the back of her head, pulling her closer back against her chest, against your heartbeat.
“I didn’t tell them I loved them.”
She stills, like a toy that ran out of batteries.
“My dad said it before they left. I didn’t say it back. Felt too embarrassed or something. I just shrugged it off and said I’ll see them later.”
Giselle doesn’t just move—she reaches for you.
Her hands don’t hesitate anymore. One finds your wrist, fingers curling around it gently, as if chaining the two of you together. The other wraps around you, presses against your back, firm, solid, unrelenting.
Her words are hoarse, muffled, being spoken directly into your chest. “They knew.”
You fall back into not responding. You want to believe they knew.
But it doesn’t fucking matter.
Because later didn’t happen, and later was taking for granted, but it was a fucking lie.
Because some drunk asshole that couldn’t even have the decency to just hit a tree and only punish himself for what he did stole ‘later’ from you.
And now? Your last words to your family weren’t love, weren’t warmth, weren’t anything that mattered.
Just a brush-off. Just something to replace the words you felt too cool to say.
Giselle shudders against, feels the twitch in your muscles as your thoughts go dark and darker. The warmth of her breath is arrhythmic, and you realize she’s crying for you.
Like she’s crawling underneath your shoulders, cracking, holding the weight with you, carrying it when you can’t. And it’s too much, even for her.
Her hands clutch desperately at you, twisting your shirt. “You have to know they knew,” she says, voice cracking every few words. “You have to know that.”
It’s still hard to respond, but she squeezes you tighter anyway. Like she’s forcing it into you.
For a moment, the room is nothing but shallow breaths and the same hum you hear every day of the world moving on outside these walls. It’s sickening.
Then, her voice, breaking the sounds:
“Do you want to talk about it?”
It takes a second to process the question.
Absolutely not. Your arms flex just at the thought of it.
“Like—” She wipes her nose after another sniff, sucks in a trembling breath. “Right now. When you think of them. What’s the first thing that comes to mind?”
Your mind stutters. Because how the fuck are you even supposed to pick one thing when a thousand are racing through the tunnels of your brain? How are you supposed to take an entire lifetime of support, annoyance, respect, frustration, love and compress it into a single moment?
Can you even answer that question?
“He laughed,” you mumble, voice rough like new tires.
Giselle listens. It’s all she does.
“When I asked if you could stay over while they were gone,” you continue, the words seemingly coming out on their own, eyes pointed upwards, the ceiling being the only thing you can stand to look at. “Said he knew I wasn’t actually gonna study. But he’d still feel better knowing you were taking care of me.”
The next sound Giselle let out surely was something new to her—soft, wet. It starts as a laugh from something unexpected, but not because something was funny, because it quickly gets overtaken by a sob.
It’s comforting. It might begin to feel like she really is taking on some of that weight. “He always did that—acted like he was onto me, like he had me all figured out. Said he was much the same when he was my age. Used to say he could read me like a book, cus he wrote the damn thing.” You swallow, not sure if it was even okay to say the next part out loud. “I used to think it was fucking annoying.”
She chuckles this time, and it’s not interrupted with a sob. That sound is a lot more comforting. It’s quiet, it’s breathy, and it’s pulling you back.
You’re shaking, but you wouldn’t have caught it if it wasn’t for Giselle holding onto you as though to hold you in place.
“I think you’re right,” you blow out the air through your nose. “They knew.”
Her fingers run over your back. “Yeah,” she whispers. “They did.”
This wasn’t enough to hold back the pain—not yet. But maybe someday it might become enough.
Giselle fits so perfectly into you, and you shift to allow her more room, for your faces to lay closer. She melts into it.
For the first time since waking up, the air doesn’t struggle to leave or enter your body. Your limbs don’t feel heavy with sorrow. Your brain doesn’t feel like drowning.
Floating.
Stagnant, but being held, and holding on.
Giselle’s body shifts, or twitches? You’re not sure. It feels like she’s about to move, is all. You don’t let her. Not yet.
“Just a little longer,” you murmur.
She shakes her head, forehead rubbing against your chest.
It’s absurd, makes you pull back, struggling to process.
“No,” she says, firmer now. “Not just a little longer.”
She nudges her forehead into your chest, the way she’s done a thousand times before when you’ve said something that got on her nerves. “I’m not leaving. You don’t get to lose me. Ever.”
She snuggles into you, and she stays.
-
You’ve been drifting in and out of sleep long enough for the sun to hide, Giselle still close. Like she promised.
“Are you up?”
Your eyes peel open slowly. “Mhm.”
“We should go eat.” She says sleepily as her muscles push awake.
You don’t answer this one.
Giselle exhales through her nose, and it’s not the first time she’s said it today. Knowing her, it won’t be the last if you don’t agree. She shifts her weight onto her elbow, tilts her head up at you with pleading brows, and looks at you properly. like she’s measuring whether or not you can handle whatever she’s about to say.
She doesn’t waver though. “We should go downstairs.”
Downstairs. You haven’t left your room yet, since. It’s fucking terrifying, as if stepping outside would only solidify what you already know. Like if stepping outside will make everything collapse. Like you’ll have to face the fact that nothing is waiting for you outside of it except a house full of ghosts.
Giselle must see the way your expression changes. She always has this sharp read on you. Her voice softens. “I know.” She exhales a heavy breath. “But we still have to go.”
We.
Not you.
We.
She stands before you can think of a way to ask her not to. Walks to the door before you can tell her no. Turns the knob and pulls it open, just enough for the familiar orange light to creep its unwelcome way inside. She pauses, waiting.
You really don’t want to go.
But she’s waiting.
And this—this is Giselle. She doesn’t ask for much. It’s for you.
So you move.
The door groans on it hinges like it’s screaming at you that you’re making a mistake. Stupid fucking door.
The hallways are colder than you remember. Colder than it has any right to be. Or maybe you’ve just gotten used to the heat of Giselle pressed against you. Or maybe it’s both.
She’s right behind you. Of course she is. Close enough that you feel her presence like a torch protecting you from the biting winds of winter. You take a step forward, then another, down the stairs that feel too long, too steeped in memory.
The house doesn’t smell like home.
Your feet hit the ground floor, and for a second, you hesitate.
Giselle doesn’t.
She’s right behind you, her fingertips ghosting your back, barely touching, barely there, letting you know she’s there. She’s here, and she’s not trying to push. And that’s enough. So you can keep moving.
The kitchen is dark.
You hesitate before flicking the switch. If you just keep the lights off, you might evade some of the memories. You flick it nonetheless, and the light is too sharp. Too bright. You glance at the fridge, at the magnets holding up old notes and things you can’t bear to take a second look at.
So you don’t.
Giselle steps around you, reaching for a glass. The sound of the cabinet opening, the slight clink of the glass on the counter, the rapid rush of water from the tap—It’s too loud.
“You should drink something,” she says, gentle, full of care, but firm, like she won’t take no for an answer.
You nod once, just to show you’re listening. She watches as you take the glass, lift it to your lips and drink. She nods back, approving, a soft curl in her lips for making progress.
She searches the fridge, the light beaming from inside, before her voice rebounds out from it. “Is there anything you want to eat?”
The answer is nothing, so you tell her exactly that.
She obviously doesn’t accept that. “Come on, just—something easy.”
Your shoulders slump before you answer. “I’m sorry, but I don’t care.”
“I know.” She continues rummaging. “But we have to eat something, right? We can’t just…not.”
So do you, you want to say. Giselle wouldn’t let you turn this around on her though. She never does.
She pulls out something. A leftover container of soup from the fridge—something your mom must have made. Something that feels too good to eat right now. But it won’t stay fresh forever. So might as well still enjoy it while you can. Giselle throws you a half smile upon seeing your reaction to the soup, dumps it into a pot, turning on the stove and heating it up for the both of you.
The smell of it is more than food. It smells like home. Or it used to? It’s all too confusing.
Giselle turns around and leans against the counter, her arms supporting her against it. Waiting for the soup to be ready, before snapping you both back to reality. “The wake is in three days.”
You give her a puzzled look, like you can’t understand how she knows that. You knew it had to happen at some point, but—
“Your aunt came by earlier this morning, when you were still sleeping. She told me to tell you. It’ll take place here.” she explains further, not letting you stew in it.
You haven’t thought about it yet. Not about the wake itself, Not about what it implies. How you’re supposed to stand there all day while people pile on, saying things that won’t matter and offer condolences you don’t want, and then—what?
Bury them?
That’s too much.
Giselle is quiet. She lets the silence go unpunished, the only sound present being the faint bubbling of the soup. And then she moves, grabbing two bowls from the cabinet, keeping her hands busy, keeping herself busy.
And you eat. And you swallow. And you try not to think about how this is the last time you’ll ever taste this soup again.
-
The house is full.
Not full of ghosts, or stale air or a silence you just can’t seem to break through no matter how hard you try. No.
This is different.
It’s wrong, worse.
There’s too many people, all clad in black, superseding silence with their low murmurs and occasional pitiful glances at you when they think you’re not looking. There’s too many of them. Faces you recognize, but can’t quite place, it’s all too hazy. People that knew your family, come to console themselves by letting you know they feel bad for you. None of them can imagine what you’re feeling anyways. If it were up to you, you wouldn’t be here.
But you are.
And thank fuck, so is Giselle.
She’s hovering around you. Always close. Not yet touching, not yet saying anything. Just—watching. Monitoring. Worried.
You can’t blame her, she should be.
“I’m so sorry for your loss.”
Fuck. If the first time already makes you feel like you want to run, you might as well give up now.
It’s your father’s coworker. You recognize him now. You met him at a barbecue your dad hosted last year, the one where he burned some burgers but kept insisting they were fine, eating them himself. Your mom called him an overgrown child, and your brother almost vomited when he tried eating on himself.
That was only a year ago.
And now—
Now a remnant of that time is standing in front of you, alive and breathing and saying the same meaningless sentence you’re bound to hear a hundred times today.
His hand lands on your shoulder. Grasps it. Too firm. Too much.
He keeps talking, something about ever needing something, but you wouldn’t rely on your dad’s coworker for anything anyway.
And Giselle?
She moves.
Not a lot, mind you. Just a little. Shifting her weight towards you, the slightest brush of her sleeve against your arm, like she’s testing something.
You nod at him. That’s all you can do.
You take a breather. Regain your composure.
Another.
“They were such wonderful people.”
One of your mom’s friends this time. She looks different. Maybe she just looks older. Maybe she’s been crying. Maybe you should care.
Her hands reach for yours, and you almost—almost—pull away.
You really don’t want them touching you like you’re some beacon of grief.
None of them should be touching you.
But you let her fingers wrap around yours, let her squeeze, let her eyes soften like she can even come close to understanding.
She doesn’t.
She can’t.
Your jaw locks. You bite down on the inside of your cheek, feel the skin break, the sharp sting of it preventing the cracks showing on the outside.
And Giselle moves again.
Another shift, another breath that sounds like it might be the start of a sentence, but—nothing. Just some warmth.
She’s hesitating.
She must be doubting if she should step in or not.
You haven’t been exactly clear on whether or not you want her to.
Because you don’t know.
“I can’t imagine what you’re going through.”
How fucked up is that? Way to rub it in.
You don’t even look up for this one.
Just nod. Another nod. That same fucking nod. Like you’re a puppet on string, but broken and only capable of doing one thing.
You don’t even know who just spoke to you and shook your hand. Some neighbor, maybe. Someone who used to wave at your mom in passing. Who smiled at you and your little brother at the grocery store. Someone who only knew your family in the way people know nice things in passing.
Not like you.
Giselle shifts again.
This time, you feel it more than you hear it, grazing the back of her hand against you, momentarily letting her index finger rub against the back of your hand. Like she just wants you to know that she’s there.
Another voice. Another fucking voice.
“They’re in a better place now.”
You exhale so hard it shakes.
You want to ask them where.
Where, exactly, is this better place you keep hearing about? Because they were supposed to be in Disneyland, and now they’re in a fucking coffin.
Your nails dig into your palms, but you just fucking nod again.
And Giselle notices.
You know she does.
Her head tilts slightly, like she’s asking what she needs to do, reading you like she always does, like she’s looking for something she can fix.
She won’t find it.
Another one.
“If you need anything, we’re here for you.”
You hesitate to answer.
Because what you want to say—what you wish you could say—is give them back.
But instead, you say what you don’t mean:
“Thank you.”
It tastes like poison in your mouth.
You wonder if you’d be able to choke and get away from this shit if you said it again.
Giselle’s finger’s twitch, but you pull away instinctively.
“Time heals all wounds.”
Does it? You can’t help but wonder.
Does it really?
Your mother is dead. Your father is dead. Your little brother is dead.
What part of that is supposed to heal?
What part of that is supposed to be supplanted by scar tissue, become something these people don’t pry open? How long do you need to wait before this doesn’t feel like some twisted prank you keep hoping someone is going to reveal the joke to? You want to scream at them how you don’t even want it to heal. How it’ll feel like forgetting them.
“Stay strong.”
Oh, fuck off.
What the hell does that even mean? Stay strong? For what? So they don’t have to see what this is really doing to you? So you can keep nodding, keep shaking hands, keep standing in a room that is shrinking every second?
What if you don’t want to be strong?
What if—
Your breath comes in too fast.
Too shallow.
Like your lungs have forfeited the whole inhale-exhale thing and decided to just go, like a car with no brakes.
“They wouldn’t want you to be sad.”
Oh.
Oh, really?
You bite down so hard on the inside of your cheek you taste copper.
This one almost gets you.
Almost.
Because there’s nothing more insulting than some asshole trying to dictate how you’re supposed to grieve.
Your hands are shaking.
And Giselle moves.
She doesn’t wait for another nail to hit your coffin.
She just—
Her fingers curl tight around your wrist.
And she pulls.
It’s not gentle.
It’s not a question.
It’s not Can we go?
It’s We’re going.
You barely register the floor beneath your feet, barely register the voices still talking, still offering words you want them to keep for themselves, barely register the nod your aunt gives you as if to say “go, I got this,” and who has been running this farce as Giselle drags you through the hall and up the stairs like she’s rescuing you from a burning building.
And maybe she is. It feels like you were burning already, anyways.
She flies up the stairs, you in tow, frantic steps barely avoiding tumbling down, like she’s racing against the clock and when the countdown hits zero, you’ll explode. Her hand is solid around you, gripping your wrist, offering no escape.
You don’t even bother fighting it, how could you? You can barely control the airflow from and to your lungs, it’s much easier to just go along, much easier than listening to yet another person you haven’t seen since who knows when hammering in the reality of it all.
You can still hear them though.
You can still fucking hear them.
Claw at your ears, but you can still hear them, even as Giselle throws open your bedroom door and pulls you inside, you can still feel their words pressing down on you and—she slams the door shut behind you. The sound explodes, it breaks all thought, it locks you up in the four walls of your room, it shuts everything up.
But it’s only for a second. Because there is now a silence that is threatening to become the norm looming over you.
She locks the door. No more intruders allowed. Nobody gets to invade your head anymore.
Your muscles aren’t responding anymore. Locked in place, cut off from your brain by some invisible scissor.
Held hostage inside your own crumbling body. Standing there, on the precipice of destruction, something brewing in the core of your body that you can’t even begin to know how to stop.
And Giselle—Giselle is watching you, looking for the same answer you’re searching for. Her own chest struggling to keep up with everything. With herself, with you, how to prevent what’s happening to you.
And she moves.
You can’t stop it. Her hands find you, clutching at your chest, palms connecting with your shoulders, pushing, struggling, forcing you back, down onto the bed, second guessing herself every inch but still going forward like she’s being driven by nothing but instinct.
She’s still struggling to breathe. Your muscles are barely listening to you again. You’re both unsure of what’s happening. You’ve been pushed down onto the bed, just barely supporting your upper body on your elbows to meet Giselle.
She straddles your lap like she used to do all the time. Hands no longer pushing but bundling up the fabric of your dress shirt at the shoulders, the fabric of her own black dress hitching up around her thighs.
And you peek at what’s underneath.
It’s reflexive. And you can’t believe yourself.
In this situation?
“Giselle—”
“I don’t know what else to do.”
It’s in the process of breaking. It’s desperate. It’s a plea to forgive her that she doesn’t have the perfect answer. It’s fucking honest, accentuated by the swelling of her tears in the corners of her eyes, but held back enough to refuse falling.
It feels like it took away a small part of the blockade in your throat preventing you from breathing.
Carved a little tunnel in there that allowed you to do what you know your body should be able to, even at diminished efficiency.
She crashes into you.
Her full body leaning against you, being supported by you, your lips attaching to each other for the first time in what feels like years. There’s nothing soft about it, nothing careful. It’s desperate, she’s desperate, messy. It’s fucking shattering. Teeth clumsily tapping, your breath mixing, her hands nearly tearing the fabric near your shoulders, yours clutching at your bedsheets—or were they hers now? Doesn’t matter, clutching as though bracing for impact.
Your mouths disconnect, and Giselle drops her head, hiding. Her whole body shifts in your lap, hips pressing closer with each desperate roll—and fuck, it’s like you’re being resuscitated, air forcefully fed into your lungs you didn’t know you desperately needed.
Your hands leave the bed as you straighten your back, grounding yourself in the skin of her hips, tightening, letting her know you’re there.
And her head shoots up, your eyes interlocking as she gasps when you realize—
She’s shaking.
Not much. Just a little. So small, you’re surprised you picked it up. Just barely enough to feel it. But you felt it. Only you know her well enough to pick up on it.
And that’s the final breath of air you needed pushed into your lungs.
Because she’s not just doing this for you.
She needs this, too.
Giselle needs you.
This is the same Giselle who owns everything you own, who teases you, taunts you, makes you flip the script on her because she’s just so desperate for your attention.
This is the same Giselle who you’ve touched before, held hands with before, kissed before, fell asleep with while watching a movie before, fucked before.
Her heat is undeniable, burning against you and you can feel it—fucking flooding your mind with thoughts of every time you plunged your cock deep inside her. She’s grinding against you, her eyes searching for clues on your face to tell her if it feels good. But she doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t restrain herself, she wants you, doesn’t ask if this is okay. She has no choice. Because it has to be.
Because if she can’t even do this, if her putting her whole body on the line doesn’t let her reach you—then what?
You wince, your body reacting to her. “Giselle, I—”
“This is all I could think to do.” It cuts you off. She responds too fast, like she’s afraid to hear what you would say, too fast, just to keep some kind of control over the situation. “You looked so in pain, like you were about to do something you’d regret, I just—” The words tumbled out, even faster, stumbling over themselves, her eyes darting from left to right, searching for something, anything. And then she looks at you.
Right at you.
Deep inhale. Shaky exhale. Her forehead pressing against yours as her eyes close. “I need you to be here.”
“I am—” You begin to claim, but before you even have the chance to convince yourself, let alone her, she interjects again.
“I love you.” Her hands loosen their grip on your shirt, only to grip even tighter onto the flesh of your shoulders. “I know you think you know. But I need you to hear it. Really hear it. I need to know that you know. That I love you.”
And you’re at the precipice. All you need to do to just feel a bit of comfort is respond to her. Just tell her that you know, or that you love her too, and maybe cry in her arms, and you’ll feel just a little bit better, it should be that easy.
But you’re silent. Just, rotting.
As if taking this final step is too much. It’s easier to just rot. If you let her in any more, it will just hurt even more when she’s taken away from you.
Her grip falters. The strength in her fingers fades, barely lingering on your shoulders before her hands slip down entirely. She exhales sharply, her face dropping for a second, and you hear it—fabric shifting, the quiet rustle of her sleeve dragging against her cheek. Wiping away tears? You don’t look. You don’t want to know.
Her head snaps back up.
She’s glowering.
Not the desperate, pleading look you were expecting. Not soft, not sad. Her whole body is trembling.
“You fucking suck right now.”
Right, you suck right now. Wait. What?
It makes you blink. Your head jolts back, and two more blinks follow it.
Your eyebrows pull together, and she sees it—the first real fucking sign of life from you since this whole thing began.
“You know,” You begin, a scoff interrupting you. “Pointing out that I suck doesn’t make me feel any better.”
“It’s not supposed to.”
Her response is quick, instinctive, decisive as to not let you cypher these emotions away again.
She leans in, foreheads mere atoms apart.
“It’s supposed to make you mad.”
Her head pulls back again, but in the blink of an eye smashes it back against your forehead, a clumsy headbutt, the surprise more shocking than the pain but it—
“I fucking love you!”
And you finally got mad. Like the pain had pierced through any fog your head had built up inside, and you could finally see color again. As if your brain was set to the wrong TV settings, showing every channel in monochrome, but a good smack to the side fixed it and you could finally drink in the vibrancy on display. So you could look at Giselle. Really, look at her. Her bright pink hair, the color slightly faded from washing it with her shitty shampoo—your shampoo actually, hers was specifically made to not let the color of her hair dye fade. Her kiss-swollen lips, peach-colored with little dents in them from where she bit down too hard. Her eyes colored like afternoon sunlight shining through a glass of whiskey you were sure to have stolen from your parents cabinet, looking at you with such frustration that you almost expected her to headbutt you again.
And how fucking dare she.
“That fucking hurt.”
Giselle’s palm presses against her forehead, rotating and rubbing against it with her eyes squeezed tight, a grunt escaping her as she replies. “Yeah? Well, it hurt me too, you idiot.”
She removes her hand and checks for blood, staring you down and tilting her head, assessing you. “Should’ve hit you harder.”
“Excuse me?”
She leans in, her hot breath pushing into you. “If that’s what it took to get you out of your own fucking head, I should’ve put my whole back into it.”
Your hands fly up, grabbing onto her hips, holding her down against you, body reacting before your mind can catch up, as if she has to pay for what she did. As if she owes you some kind of apology for not letting you sit under your own self-imposed ceiling of sorrow. As if you just fucking need her.
And Giselle pushes back.
Teeth catching your lower lip, stinging, sharp and sweet, filled with promise. She pulls as far as you’re willing to give, not enough to hurt, but enough to make you feel it, enough to make you want her lips, enough to make your pulse beat in your neck when she finally lets go—
She doesn’t even give you a chance to recover.
Because the second she releases you, her lips claim yours.
Messy, hot, urgent, familiar, undoubtedly Giselle.
“There you are,” she breathes into your mouth.
“Shut the fuck up,” is all the verbal response you give her, your hands grasping at the fabric of her dress with an intense fervor you were sure to have lost, pushing, pulling, twisting, anything to make it be less on her.
“Jesus,” she recoils, but she takes no steps to stop you. Instead, she pushes back, her own hands having a similar battle with the front of your shirt, desperately fumbling with the buttons.
And you don’t even realize the force you're putting out until you hear the sharp sound of fabric tearing.
Her dress.
You fucking ripped it.
Her eyes go wide, her hands stop fumbling with your buttons, and she sucks in a sharp breath.
“Oh,” she breathes out.
Your grip tightens. You feel bad about it, or at least you know you should, but right now, you’re barely holding back from ripping the full fucking thing off her.
“You will be buying me a new one.” She glares at you, hands curled into the torn fabric at her side. She watches you wince, but there’s no sympathy in her face. It’s more like she’s processing—realizing at the exact same time you are just how much this is turning her on. “So don’t stop now,” she tells you, “tear me apart.”
The sound it makes is thrilling. The fabric gives, but not without putting up a fight, resisting enough that when it finally gives way, it’s a violent thing. The rip reverberates in the room, splitting apart from her side. The dress ceases to be a dress—just a mess of torn fabric clinging uselessly to her skin before sliding down, slipping away.
And Giselle fucking melts into you, reduced to nothing but matching black underwear, forearms pressing up into your chest, her hips sliding, rolling down, coating your bulge with her wet through her panties like she’s desperate to let you ruin her. She is as much a mess as you are, failing at letting you control the pace, just as desperate to feel all of you.
It’s exhilarating. You might have to start investing in cheap, flimsy dresses for Giselle, just so you have an excuse to rip them off of her again. Because the effect it’s having on you, let alone her, is something you’d let ruin you financially.
“All that whining about your dress,” you taunt, that hint of bite returning to your voice, “but you’re dripping onto my pants like you want me to rip those off too.”
“I can’t help it’s fucking hot,” she mumbles.
Her head tilts, looking up at you, fast and desperate, like she needs to get her mouth on you before you even know what she’s doing. Her hands, still shaking with adrenaline, grip onto your shirt and keep you close, using it as leverage as she pulls herself up and crashes her lips against the curve of your neck.
You flinch, your muscles tensing up against her assault, and she feels it, her arms refusing to give even an inch, doubling down. Lips parting, tongue taking first contact just to tease before retreating, sucking hard on your skin, like she’s educating you on what the punishment is and will be for torn dresses. The pressure is immediate, bruising, and you lean into it, her breath hot against your skin as she works at you.
Pain melts into pleasure, sharp stings of heat spurring you, your hands finding refuge on her supple ass, kneading and grasping, in turn spurring her on even more.
She moans against you—soft, drawn out, almost involuntary, like she wasn’t expecting this to turn her on so much. It’s impossible to ignore, vibrating into your skin, traveling directly up your spinal cord and sucker punching all of your neurons simultaneously with the sheer fucking audacity of her.
She pulls back slightly, just to admire her work, panting breaths exhaling against the wet, oversensitive mark of her territory left behind. Her tongue grazes the spot again, teasing, curving upwards against the fresh bruise she just made, before a single hum delivers the haymaker—smug, pleased and starving for more.
“You are so fucking impatient,” you stammer out pushing her away from your neck, hands firmly on her shoulders to keep her where she’s forced to look at you.
And she looks like she’s going to break any minute, her eyes big and pleading, already a prelude to her next attack. “What, you’re not going to make me say please, are you?”
Fucking hell.
You allow yourself one incredulous chuckle before advancing, one hand curving around her back, pinching the hook and eye clasp of her bra together before releasing it, causing it to drop into her lap still tangled around her arms, where your other hand already reached cupping her where she’s wet, palm pressing against the skin above her cunt, fingers hovering over her sensitives.
She gasps, submitting to your touch, putting up no fight at all. And she stops. And so do you. Her pupils, wide and hungry, reflecting the only thing she needs—you, again. Her heat begging you to envelop your cock. And her fucking tits—bare, soft, perfect. Her nipples are stiff, whether from cool air or sheer anticipation—you’d bet on the latter— begging to be touched, sucked, bitten, made yours. She arches her back ever so slightly, like she’s offering them to you without the indignity of pleading. Because she knows she would if you asked. It’s better to just give in already.
She is a fucking vision, the kind you could only experience at moments that blur the line between reality and fiction. The kind that demands you act before it vanishes.
So fucking beautiful it still makes you sick.
“You’re looking at me like you just realized you’re about to fuck me,” she says, her voice shaking but a smirk letting her keep some semblance of control.
“Only if you say please.”
She doesn’t hesitate. She pouts. Her eyes pull you in.
“Please fuck me?” she pleads, incriminating herself in your little trap willingly.
She’s brazen, enthusiastic and about to be rewarded for it. Breaking eye-contact from this point onwards would be considered taboo, as your fingers slide the last barrier between you and her velvety heat to the side for access, letting the rest of her panties unmoved, hugging and squeezing her hips.
At the same time, she tugs the remaining straps of her bra down her arms, letting the fabric fall away entirely, leaving her completely exposed above you. Giselle was never embarrassed, never even a little bit shy. No, even now, even like this, she keeps that fucking fire burning on alcohol in her eyes, daring you to take what’s yours.
You slip into her soaked heat, and—fuck—she’s already so wet. So fucking ready for you. No teasing, no hesitation, just yours for the taking.
Giselle gasps, her whole body stretching and flexing as two fingers push inside her, stretching her open for you, pressing into the cunt she’s been grinding against you with no shame. Fuck giving her time to adjust. You curl your fingers, rolling them into her, against the spot that makes her shake, makes her lose her fucking mind.
“Oh—”
It’s the oboe playing the A note before the symphony she’s about to perform. But you don’t give her time for the tuning of all the other instruments.
She sways forward, her body being pulled into yours without her permission, a slave to her instincts. Her hands fly to the buttons of your shirt, but the poor girl is shaking too much to do anything useful. “Fucking—” She struggles, losing coordination, head swaying and eyes squinting to focus to no avail. “Get this—fucking thing—off—”
There’s a pop and a dink. A button flies off, bouncing against the floor. She doesn’t flinch, neither do you. Another one soon follows.
“Jesus, you’re ruining my shirt,” you taunt, but you don’t stop her. If anything, this color of desperation looks nice on her.
“You ruined my—fuck—my dress first,” she protests. “If you’ve got—”
She’s not wrong, but you’re not about to let her be right. You flick your thumb over her clit, slow and precise, just the way she loves it, just to feel her pulse against you.
She opens her mouth to retry what she was snapping back despite your little trick, but—
You had another up your sleeve.
Your other hand asserts itself on her tits, fingers spreading their domain over the soft flesh of her breast before closing in, pinching at her nipple, tugging just enough to get her to forget. Just enough to see her reaction.
Her back arches into your touch, lips parting wider with disbelief, breath coming in bursts that sting. Her face is a masterpiece of desperation, eyebrows pooling at the center, eyes wide and pleading, her whole body craving what you’re giving.
And still, she continues fighting it.
“Just you—oh my god—” she manages, but you’re sure it would have been more coherent if she wasn’t bucking her hips into you trying to fuck herself faster on your fingers.
“You can either finish that sentence,” you interject, thumb circling her clit slowly, “or you can come. But you’ve gotta pick one.”
She’s gasping, faltering, having vocabulary erased from her lexicon with each thrust and curl, head falling back but she’s still got this defiant look in her eyes. Like she’s about to hit you with a comeback so good you’ll only find an appropriate response three days later when stepping out of the shower.
But you don’t let her.
“Come on,” you whisper, tone softer now, coaxing her, a stark contrast to the ruthless way your fingers are working her. “Be a good girl for me.”
It’s her favorite thing, and the ace up your sleeve. She snaps without resistance.
Her body locks up, a sharp rendition of your name sings from her lips to your ears, her walls pulsing around your two digits as her orgasm ramps up. She clings to you like someone cast out at sea clings to a lifebuoy, nails ripping what remains of your shirt, mouth open, gasping, unwilling to do anything but surrender, take everything you’re pushing into her.
You don’t stop until she’s a trembling mess, until you’re sure you’ve felt every little muscle spasm, until the aftershocks are making her twitch against you, until she’s nothing but a gasping, pink chaos in your arms.
It’s only then you slow your movements, retreating to her hips, letting her breathe, letting her catch herself where your hands failed.
But she’d be a fool if she thought this was anything but the warm-up.
“Think you’re ready to get your insides stirred now?”
She barely lifts her head, eyes heavy-and-half-lidded, still dazed. Giselle always needs recovery time, and you’ve usually been graceful enough to grant it, but she has that smirk, that little bit of fight, that spark in her eyes left in her.
“I couldn’t possibly say no to you.”
Your grip tightens on her hips. “That’s my good girl,” you hiss.
Her hands fumble at your belt, too clumsy and too shaky to get proper progress like she usually would. Her fingers aren’t the focused and precise instruments they usually are, but that doesn’t stop her from trying. She yanks at the buckle again, flexing her fingers as though that might help.
And you’re just watching. Leaning back. Enjoying the fucking spectacle of her trying and failing to get your cock out. Your fingers tangle into her messy hair, pulling just enough to make her tilt her face up.
Low. Taunting. “Do you need some help?”
Her eyebrows twitch in annoyance, her glare hazy but defiant. “Shut up. I know how to get my boyfriend’s dick out.”
You can’t help but grin. “Yeah? Cause you kind of suck right now.”
Her nostrils flare, and she rips the zipper down with enough force to nearly break the damn thing as well. Your slacks and boxers are shoved down, disposed of in one rough motion.
And then she freezes. Her hands glued to your thighs for support. Her breath hitches. Her eyes widen.
“...Okay, what the fuck.”
You blink. “What?”
She tilts her head, fingers wrapping around your cock, testing the weight, the firth, her thumb dragging over the tip before her grip tightens.
“No, like. Actually. Is it bigger than usual?”
A scoff, she can’t be fucking real. “Are you serious?”
“I’m dead fucking serious.” She strokes down your shaft, slow, like she’s gathering data, measuring it to what she remembers.
“Maybe it’s the angle.”
She clicks her tongue like that’s not quite it, tilting her head, still studying you like you’re some kind of science experiment. “Or maybe it’s a rage-induced growth spurt.”
“That is not a thing.”
“Seems like a thing,” she muses.
“It’s not a thing,” you keep asserting.
She circles the head of your dick with her thumb, wiping precum all over it, watching you twitch under her hand. “You seem pretty sure.” “Because I—Jesus, Giselle,” she interrupts you, a quick slide down your shaft sending a jolt up your spine, “because I am sure.”
“Well, I’m gonna pretend it is possible,” she hums, shifting her hips forwards, bucking against you, preparing the base of your cock against her soaking wet cunt, drowning it in her slick with every slow, deliberate and precise roll of her hips.
You feel every bit of it. How ready she is. How warm, how soft, how desperate, how shaky.
You can’t help but tighten your grip on her hips, fingers digging in hard, no intent of ever letting go.
And she’s such a slut for it, the feeling of riding against your dick while your digits dig into her makes her moan, high and breathy, but still contained only to this room.
You can’t let that go unpunished. “You’re still shaking.”
She huffs, daring you to shift your hands to her waist, but she’s gripping your shoulders. “And you’re still talking.”
Her nails make their way down, scratching your chest as she rolls her hips again, slow but insistent, pressing herself against your every inch, teasing, tormenting you both—
“So I guess I need to do a better job,” she puffs, face tilting downwards a little so she can look up at you with a pout. “Let’s see if you can still do the same when these tits you love so much are bouncing in your face.”
She smirks, satisfied, shifting forward, lining herself up above you, her cunt dripping against the tip of your cock, ready—
And then she pushes down.
She sinks on to you, rough and deep, deeper, deeper, until she’s seated in your lap, flush up against you, stuffed fucking full with rage-induced growth.
For a second, neither of you move.
You pulse inside her, feel the way her walls tighten, adjusting, flexing, gripping you like she never wants to let go. The sensation mixes with the way her eyes flutter, unfocused, her hands scratching and digging into your chest, harder and harder like she’s overwhelmed, like she’s processing every inch of you.
She swallows. Tenses her thighs. And she starts moving.
First, it's slow. Rolling. Experimenting what she can handle. She lifts herself up, just a little, and you feel her tremble before she sinks back down. Her and your moans weave into each other.
She does it again. A slow, shaky rhythm, taking you as deep as she fucking can.
And you resist the urge to grip her hips and hold her up, pounding into her until she cries your name to the heavens. For now. Because she’s trembling. Still weak.
She knows it too, but as long as you don’t intervene, she won’t be stopped. She leans in, a soft half-moan half-breath escapes her, her eyes obsessed with you.
“You love this, don’t you? Watching me put on a show for you.”
“Mhm,” you respond, low, throaty, just the way it gets her going.
She smirks, her hands flying into her hair as she lets it cascade over her back, giving you a perfect view of her neckline. “You always get like this when I’m on top. Can’t even pretend to play it cool when my tits are bouncing, can you?”
She’s not wrong. Her tits have a hypnotic quality to them.
Her body moves, slow and deliberate, dragging you back and forth inside her like she’s trying to make clear what you’ve got to lose if you try to play it nonchalantly.
“Just admit it, you’re weak—fuck—weak for my pu—”
She chokes on the last word, her confidence faltering mid sentence as she tries to lift herself, her legs twitching, shaking, muscles threatening to give out. She barely gets halfway up before her thighs tremble violently, still wrecked from her previous orgasm, forcing her to slam back down onto you, her whole body tensing up. It’s quick, and high-pitched. A surprised whimper escapes her throat involuntarily.
You pull back, a face that could only mean to ask her if she wants to find an excuse for that.
She glares up at you, face flushed red instead of its usual shades of pink, panting. “I—” she starts, but her voice shakes.
You help her along, like the loving boyfriend you are. “Having some trouble?” You’re clearly enjoying this, watching her fight against her own body.
And that only pisses her off. Her glare sharpens. “Shut up—” But her legs twitch again, this time not even managing halfway, forcing another stuttered moan out of her.
She’s struggling with the limitations of her own body, huffing in frustration, but not giving up. Her hands grasp your shoulders, and she tries to lift herself up again. In vain. She barely makes it off of you, more of a grinding act, before collapsing onto you with a sharp gasp, staying impaled on your thick cock.
She whimpers another fuck, as her walls clench and flex, forcing her body to do what she wants.
It’s adorable, a sight to revel in. Struggling, mustering all the power she still has left after having most of it fingered out of her. Your hands reaching for her thighs, sweat-slicked, feeling the little movements of muscle on your palm as she forces herself to rise. They tremble violently under her weight before giving out entirely, making her sink back down with a mewl.
Giselle’s cheeks flush an even deeper shade of red, equal parts arousal and humiliation. She bites her lip, warring with herself, considering her possible actions, before finally breaking.
“Fine! Will you please fucking help me already?” she yelps, neediness exemplified.
“There we go,” you crow, immensely satisfied. “Was that so hard?”
Your grip tightens around her hips, your whole body surging forward as you take control, flipping her in one swift, fluid motion, her breath leaving her in a sharp gasp as her back hits the mattress and you cage her beneath you.
Her legs are still wrapped around your waist, but you push them up, folding them into her, making sure she feels everything, making sure she knows exactly what she just asked for.
“This is what you wanted?” you challenge, hovering over her quivering body. “Needed me to manhandle you? To hold you down and use you?”
Giselle squirms in your grip, her pupils blow wide with lust and anticipation. “Fuck yes, I need your cock to stretch me open,” she whines, straining to grind her hips against yours.
She’s being so fucking messy right, and if she gets any louder, you are both running the risk of turning this catharsis into the most humiliating moment of your life. In a desperate attempt to shut her up, you lean down, capturing her lips in a needy kiss, tongue twisting into hers, swallowing all her moans directly into your throat. When you finally pull back, you hold still for a moment, giving her an intense stare matched by her expectant gaze.
“I love you,” you tell her, raw honesty shattering the moment. Her eyes blink in shock, clearly expecting something a lot more depraved to have come out of your mouth. “I fucking love you so much, Giselle. But if you don’t control your volume, you’re going to ruin this.”
Her eyes go wide, her eyebrows shoot up, the kind of look that says “excuse me?” but her body betrays her, leaning in instead of pulling back. “Fine,” she whispers fiercely, “I love you too.”
“Now stop being a sap and fuck me like you want to break me,” she purrs, swirling and bucking her hips into your throbbing girth invitingly. “I want you to have to carry me tomorrow. I want to be limping when you’re done.”
Lust overtakes your brain, painting your vision in the color pink that you can’t help but indulge in. You line yourself up anything but carefully, slamming in, hard, brutal, like you want to break her, burying your entire length in her tight and sloppy heat. Giselle throws her head back with force, walls clamping down on you, and you can see your name spelled on her lips, ready to be cried out. She somehow bites it back, only letting a strained moan escape her.
“Yes” and “fuck” and “oh my god” are chanted deliriously at a volume you’ve both painstakingly mastered to never get caught in the past as you set a punishing pace, pumping in and out of her cunt.
You pound and pound, grunting with exertion, eyes transfixed by the irresistible sight of her voluptuous tits bouncing wildly just past her thighs with each thrust. And she notices, because Giselle knows you. And knows you love watching her tits bounce. So she does the only reasonable thing, which is to arch her back and offer herself to you as much as her strength still allows.
“I know you like watching my tits while you rail me,” she taunts, kneading them together for your viewing pleasure. Giselle loves putting on a show. “Love seeing them shake from how hard you’re pounding me? Hmm, I bet you wanna cover them in cum already, mark them as yours.”
“Fuck, keep talking,” you strain out, angling your hips to hit that perfect spot inside her that makes her see stars.
Giselle’s eyes roll back in bliss as you pound into her g-spot, absolutely no mercy, no remorse, just brutal fucking with relentless precision. Filthy praise spills from her lips between muted cries of ecstasy.
She looks at you for a second, hazy eyes starting to roll back as she obediently continues. “Next time, I want you to bend me over that desk and take me from behind while I struggle to stand. Spank my ass until it’s raw and pull my hair while you fuck me stupid. Leave me shaking so bad I forget my own.”
Your rhythm stutters, a guttural groan and risk of drool tearing from you at the deliciously dirty image she construed. Giselle, consistent as she is, notices immediately and grins impishly, emboldened.
“Or maybe you’d rather I ride you in front of the mirror, let you watch my ass bounce on your dick? Let you play with my tits and see how perfect we look together?”
She finds some strength again, meeting your rhythm on a one fourth beat, rolling her hips in sync with your thrusts. “I love how sexy you make me feel. Love when you look at me like you want to devour me, love being your perfect little fucktoy.”
“Keep going,” you growl through your teeth like a desperate animal, picking up the pace, getting lost in her fervor, fucking into her harder, deeper. “Tell me everything.”
“I didn’t forget that I owe you a blowjob, but how about you fuck my face and we call it even?” Giselle continues, shameless and needy not strong enough words to describe her. “Want to choke on your big cock, let you use my throat and paint my face with runny mascara and cum.”
You’re pounding into her with wild abandon, the obscene slap of flesh on flesh echoing through the room, thank fuck for your thick door. Her words inflame your lust to never before seen heights, dipping your head to latch onto one rosy nipple, sucking the sensitive bud atop her heights into your mouth.
“Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck,” she drools out, punctuation getting forgotten as she grows incoherent with pleasure. “That feels so fucking good. They’re so fucking sensitive for you, please bite them, leave your marks all over me. Shit, I could cum just from you playing with my tits…”
And what are you, if not a loving boyfriend, obliging her filthy request, nipping and suckling at her flesh, determined to cover her mounds in hickeys and teeth marks. Cover her in you. Never relenting your pace, drilling into her squelching pussy like a man possessed by a pink haired goddess. Some kind of Aphrodite.
Her cunt is practically gushing everytime you move your cock, soaking your thighs with her arousal.
“Close, I’m so fucking close,” she slurs, but not in the way that would get a themepark to close a faux landmark. “Don’t stop, don’t you dare fucking stop—please, I fucking need it—cum for me too, paint my fucking cervix white, breed me, fuck, knock me up, shit shit shit, I’m gonna—”
Her filthy pleas are your undoing, destructive, a siren’s call drowning you from head to hilt. The sound that escapes from you is feral as you slam into her one last time, burying yourself as deep as is physically possible and then some. Your core tightens, your hands push her thighs flat against her body in way that will leave her sore in more ways than one, as the worst idea you’ve had yet doesn’t take time to consider itself, just throbbing straight through your cock, pulsing and erupting inside her, thick spurts of cum painting her insides filling her up.
Something about being too caught up in the moment.
Giselle is soon to follow, orgasm crashing over her, this one harder than before, triggered by the new sensation of your scalding seed flooding her clenching cunt. Her eyes roll back once more, the start of your name up to the first vowel breaking through her throat, shockwaves of pleasure tearing through her quivering body.
You recognize the danger, quickly clamping a hand over her mouth, half falling into her before catching you back up with your other hand, muffling her debauched cries, Giselle being too far gone to stay quiet on her own. Her lips are wet against your palm, breath heating you up as she bucks and writhes beneath you, impaled on you making her overflow, being equally guilty with how she milks for you every last drop you have.
The world shrinks and vision narrows to just you and Giselle, overcome and lost to feeling. Feeling her, feeling yourself, feeling… alive. Your hips piston in short, sharp thrusts on instinct, working your release as deep into her trembling body as possible, driven by some naturalistic part of yourself you’ve newly reacquired, a need to claim her and fill her to the brim with your essence.
And she takes it all with desperate enthusiasm, greedily and eagerly accepting everything you give her like you’ve done this a hundred times before. You haven’t, not even once.
Her life-giving eyes are squeezed shut, cheeks flushed the same pink as her favorite brand of peach colored lipstick, features slack with untainted pleasure. She looks utterly defiled, fucked silly, like the very picture of a perfect girlfriend and her wanton debauchery.
Your cum is leaking out around your shaft, dripping down between you, staining her bedsheets—still yours, but if she’s dripping on them, it’s her problem. Knowing her, she will make an argument it’s your fault because it’s your cum.
She’s never looked more beautiful, like an angel meant to absorb all your sins.
The aftershocks of her second crash ebb away, leaving you both panting, your hand sliding off of her mouth. Exhaustion hits all at once, causing a collapse on top of her and only bracing for a fraction of the impact on your forearms so as not to crush her. Pillowy tits caught most of the impact anyways, welcoming you gladly, trembling limbs following up and clinging to your sweat-slicked back.
“Holy shit,” she whispers, her voice hoarse but soothingly contented. “You’re carrying me tomorrow. No fucking choice. I can’t feel my legs anymore.”
You chuckle, actually chuckle, or maybe it’s better described as a snicker turning into a chuckle, reintroducing Giselle to a sound she thought she lost. She immediately surges up to capture your lips, tasting the sweetness of the laughter on your mouth with sloppy abandon, all tongue and spit and residual passion. She’s grinning dopily up at you as you break apart, and it does something to you.
She sighs, twitching beneath you. “Tch. After everything I let you do to me, all the places I said you could have made a mess of…” Her smug smirk makes an entrance as she tilts her chin down. “You just had to fill me up instead. Nice and dangerous.” Your pulse is still hammering, the implications of what you just did barely catching up to you before she derails it completely. She tilts her head, mock contemplation, but her smile is pure smug, a deadly taunt, hammering away at you. “And here I thought you wanted to see how pretty I’d look, tits covered in cum, dripping down my stomach.” Your jaw clenches, but she’s not done yet. “Or maybe,” she continues, “you wanted me on my knees, tongue out, looking up at you while I begged for it. Feel how messy I’d get swallowing everything that drips out.” She exhales, all faux-disappointment, licking her lips like she’s tasting the mere thought of you. “I get it though.” She grins, utterly fucking depraved. “It felt fucking amazing. I would have picked this too.”
“You’re insane.”
And so are you. For her. Staying like that for a moment, longer than a mere moment, just existing in the intimacy. Eventually, you pull out of her, a wet squelch announcing your physical separation.
The mixture of your combined fluids immediately starts to drip out of Giselle’s thoroughly fucked pussy as you pull out, a lewd concoction of her arousal and your thick cum. She whimpers, one eye closed, at the loss of your cock stretching her open, the sensation of your release seeping from her folds making her shiver.
There’s a sparkle of mischief in your eye, the glint indicative of the kind of challenges you and Giselle always throw at each other, and she characteristically notices, but just observes. You swipe two fingers through the mess between her thighs, coating them liberally in a layer of your shared passion.
She follows your digits through hooded lids, chest still heaving, a smirk turning into a surprised moan as you raise your slick fingers to her lips, painting them with you and her before pushing inside. Her eyes flutter shut in bliss as she eagerly accepts the offering, tongue swirling around the digits, lapping up every drop of your combined taste.
“Mmm, we taste so good together, you know?” she purrs sultrily once you withdraw your fingers with a signature Giselle pop. She opens her mouth, presenting the elixir on her tongue. “Want a taste?” You hadn’t considered it before, but half of what was in there was hers, and with a shrug of your shoulders, you dive in, kissing her haphazardly, tongue pressing against hers and swirling into a helix, tasting how good you two really come together. You pull back, and she swallows your cocktail down, proudly presenting an empty mouth.
“You do know a quick swipe isn’t enough to keep me from getting knocked up though, right stud?” She punctuates her words by clenching her walls, more of your release dripping out to pool on the sheets. “I can still feel so much of your cum inside me. We’re definitely getting plan B tomorrow, and you’re paying.”
Your cock twitches between your legs, as though being called to action. “If you keep spewing filth, I’m going to get hard again.”
“Promises, promises,” Giselle singsongs, grinning at you. She looks thoroughly well-fucked, hair a wild and pink tangle, skin covered in sweat you wouldn’t mind getting a taste of, your marks littering her breasts, throat and rearranged insides.
This is satisfaction.
You collapse next to her on the bed, one arm slipping under her and the other over her, gathering her up into you. She comes willingly, a little joyous squeal escaping, tangling your legs together, uncaring of the sticky mess. Exertion turns into exhaustion as you listen to your racing heartbeats gradually slow and even out.
This was exactly what you needed to take your mind off of things for once, but as the high fades, reality sets back in. It feels different, something unspoken that settles over the both of you, settling into the spaces in the room where grief and love have spent the last few days battling for dominance.
Your forehead rests against hers at its most comfortable, close enough you can hear every breath as it keeps her here. Her fingers brush over your back softly, fingertips gliding idly, starkly in contrast with the frantic clawings she left earlier.
Silence falls between you, but it isn’t the kind you want to chase away. It’s the one that says it all. Not oppressive or suffocating anymore. Just… full.
You shift slightly, not because you want to leave her, something simple, the feeling of your arm starting to fall asleep, and Giselle groans. “You are not allowed to move yet.”
“Says who?”
“Says me,” she mutters. “Stay.”
It’s a simple request you never had any intention to ignore. But it’s the way she says it—soft, drowsy, fragile—that turns it into an impossible request to ignore.
Your face buries into the crook of her neck, planting soft kisses against her flesh, the scent of sex and sweat wrapping around you.
“I love you,” she whispers, and it's so damn near silent that you’re not sure if she said it for you to hear or for herself.
You close your eyes, settle into her and answer back anyways. “I know.”
She exhales, a snicker preluding her. “You’re supposed to say it back, asshole.”
Your lips curl into a smirk, tugging at your lips, but there’s not a trace of teasing in your voice when you respond to her a little too quickly. “I love you too.”
Her body relaxes, and yours follows suit. More silence follows, More warmth. More of just simply being.
Then, Giselle huffs and puffs, your hands automatically on her waist. “You know we’re stuck here until everybody has left, right?”
You grunt, but you don’t even bother to lift your head. “What?”
“My dress is currently in several pieces on the floor,” she remarks, no question about who the accusatory tone was meant for. “And while I am thrilled by the feral caveman display of strength, it does leave me exactly with zero options for leaving this room.”
You snort, shifting just enough to glance at the shredded fabric scattered across the floor like some ruined jigsaw puzzle. “That sounds like a you problem.”
Her gasp is clearly exaggerated, and the weak shove she gives your shoulder is a dead giveaway. “Excuse me? You did this!”
“Mm,” you hum, unconcerned with her accusation. Truth be told, you’d take any excuse to be stuck here with her forever. Still, a comeback felt deserved. “I clearly remember you telling me to ‘tear you apart’”
“That’s unfair, that was in the heat of the moment!”
“Almost everything we just did was in the heat of the moment.”
She opens her mouth faster than she can think of a clever comeback, and you can see the gears spinning in her head but not coming up with anything useful. Her mouth snaps shut, her eyes glare at you in betrayal. “I hate you.”
A familiar song and dance. “No, you don’t.”
“No,” she agrees, her shoulders dropping and releasing tension, as she nudges closer to you. “I really, really don’t.”
And you don’t feel like you’re spiraling anymore. Like the world is collapsing around you and you’d just let it. Like a husk of a man, just keeping the body alive while the mind is drifting further and further away into oblivion.
You feel… at home with her.
Her hand lifts, fingers brushing against the side of your face, undoubtedly noticing the weirdly optimistic crestfallen expression you carried. “What?” she murmurs.
Your throat tightens in its familiar constriction, but you manage to speak anyway. “My dad said something before they left.”
Giselle’s fingers still against your skin, as if bracing for impact. “Yeah?”
You swallow, inhaling like it might make this easier, but nothing can. “He said he felt better knowing I’ll have you.”
The words hang between you. Giselle stares, blinks once, and lips part slightly at their center, but nothing comes out. Not even air. Clueless on what to say to something like that, something that raw.
You sigh, resigned, but with a tinge of optimism that some might confuse for naivety in your tone. “Guess he knew what he was talking about.”
The muscles in her face loosen, and she responds with her body first. Not hesitant, not afraid, a sense of certainty and clarity guiding her.
Her fingers find familiar footing in your hair, another hand palming your jaw, warming it up and comforting you. She’s taking you in—and yesterday it would have been because she’s worried, but today it’s because she isn’t. Like she knows you, down to your very bones, exactly who you are and she’s waiting for you to realize it too.
“Right,” she breathes with ease. “You still have me.”
The words are like a magic spell, settling somewhere into the ache in your ribs, into the spaces grief left raw and you tried to dispose of, a stitch pulling on the raw flesh of an open wound, preparing it to heal.
You don’t know what to say to that. You don’t think there’s anything you can say to that.
You hang loose in her touch. She lets you. Lets you take your time. Because she knows.
You’re not okay.
Not yet.
But Giselle makes it feel like maybe that’s okay too.
That maybe it’s enough for now to know that you’re still here with her, that she’s saved your life twice now. And tomorrow you can take her up on all the filthy promises she’s made, but if you need to just be in her arms today, that’s fine too.
Because you still have her.

“I’m telling you Tara, he literally won’t make the first move. I don’t know what’s wrong with him.”
Tara rubbed her chin. “Hm. And you’re sure he likes you?”
Beside you, Simone scoffed. “Unfortunately yes. It’s obvious.”
You rolled your eyes, not wanting to address her one-sided beef with Caleb. “Yes, Tara.”
“How is it obvious? I only met him once.”
“And you couldn’t see how obvious it was?” Simone added, genuinely surprised Tara missed the obvious clues. “He wouldn’t stop staring at her like all day. The whole time we ate, he was just staring at her. Not even subtle too. I would’ve thought you two kissed by now, or at the very least fucked.” Simone looked at you now. “Seriously, why don’t you just make the first move?”
“I dunno?! It’s weird…and as much as I dream about just grabbing his face and kissing him, in the moment I just chicken out…”
Tara hummed, stroking her chin again. “I see. I see. And you know for certain he likes you? Besides the staring, and all.”
You nodded. “Yeah.” You looked down at the table, at the fries sitting on your tray, reminiscing about the last time you were in Skyhaven.
Caleb had caught a cold from standing in the rain for too long, and the two of you were on awkward terms after an argument. He didn’t want you to see him while sick but eventually relented and let you inside his room. You checked his temperature and he was burning up, so you didn’t want to take your hands off his face, caressing his red cheeks, embracing his warmth. You sang for him, and he leaned in, and you just knew it’d finally be the moment you kissed. You even closed your eyes shut, waiting to feel his lips against yours, but he pulled himself away and turned to the side. Obviously you were frustrated, no denying that, and you were about to just leave his room before he pulled you in for a hug. Though you didn’t kiss, the hug was more intimate than you’d imagined. Every time Caleb was sick, even in the past, he rarely let you see him in that state. To see him so weak and vulnerable, unable to stop coughing, his red cheeks and ears. In that moment you wanted nothing more than to just be with him.
You were unaware of how long you were just staring off into space as you recalled the memory from a few weeks ago. Tara and Simone share a look with each other.
“Um, hello?” Simone waved in front of your face. You blinked yourself back to reality and looked between the both of them. Simone got a good look at your face and clicked her tongue. “You’re so whipped.”
“I’m not!”
Tara cheered. “Wait, were you thinking about him?!” She questioned, and your face flushed even harder. You looked away, and she cheered even louder. “Tell me what you were thinking about!”
Simone, who’d rather die than admit she was curious, rested her elbow on the table, cheek in palm as she turned to look at you, waiting for the explanation.
You sighed and told them the story in extreme detail about your last encounter with Caleb in Skyhaven. Though it started on bad terms, the two of you had been even closer than before. You text every single day whenever he can respond, and when he’s unable to come to the phone, you always spam him with funny videos, and emojis. And he responds to every single one of them. You two fall asleep on the phone almost every night, if he doesn’t come home too late from work, and wake up to see either him still dead asleep, or the call being cut, but he always follows it up with:
Sorry for hanging up, i had to head to work ;-; ill text you as soon as i come back :D
You hadn’t spoken to him in the last few days though, as he was leading a team to explore the Deepspace Tunnel and would be out of service for at least 5 days. It’s only day 3 and you’ve been missing him so much, it’s crazy. He’s what you think of when you fall asleep, and wake up. You’re not even safe from him in your dreams.
“I’ve got a question,” Tara says, raising her hand up.
“Proceed.” You gesture for her to continue.
She leaned in across the table, cupping her hand around her mouth. “Can I be the maid of honour at your wedding?”
“TARA!” you exclaim. Simone nearly snorts her milkshake up her nose at your reaction. The two of them start laughing and you chuckle a bit yourself. They continue talking and you whip out your phone to open your messages with Caleb, eying the message you sent him this morning.
08:44 I just woke upppp. I’m heading to lunch with some friends today!!! I’ll send you some photos you can salvate over once u get back
You swipe to the camera and snap a photo of your half eaten burger with fries, sending it in chat with a yummy emoji.
13:33 Bet u wish this was u huhhhhhhhhhhh
You throw the fact he has to be on a strict diet in his face, adding a few random emojis before turning off your phone.
“She was texting him just now,” Simone’s voice startled you.
“No I wasn’t.”
“Look at that grin on your face.”
You quickly drop the smile you didn’t know existed off your face. “I’m not grinning!”
“You so are!” Simone cackled, leaning into your personal space, eyeing your phone. “Show me what you said.”
“It’s not much,” you say, turning your phone back on. “Just send him a picture of my food.”
Simone looked at the one sided replies, how you’ve been spamming him with messages for the last three days and he hasn’t been online since. She raised an eyebrow.
“Uh, is he ghosting you?”
“What? No.” You take your phone back and hand it to Tara who was struggling to see from the other side of the table. “He’s just on a mission right now. Five days long. I always spam him with he’s unavailable. He says I can tell him whatever is on my mind.”
“Mm-hm,” Simone hummed.
“You know what would be so crazy?” Tara said, scrolling through your messages.
“What?” you and Simone say in unison.
“If you sent him nudes.”
You nearly choked on air, Simone’s eyes widening at the words coming out of Tara’s mouth.
“It’s always the innocent looking ones, huh.”
Tara giggled. Meanwhile you were still in a state of shock.
“Um??? Isn’t that a bit far?”
“Well, no,” Tara defended. “Think about it. You two are basically dating already, just haven’t made it official. And you said you want him to make the first move right? How will he know if its okay to do or not if he doesn’t know you are just as into him as he’s into you? And since you don’t wanna kiss him first, show him you’re into him at least with a few picturesssssss.”
On the surface she wasn’t wrong, you couldn’t deny that. Growing up, Caleb had seen your body before, it wasn’t unusual. Beach days where you were mainly in bikinis, heatwaves where you were wearing mainly shorts and crop tops. He’d even walked in on you changing a few times, and vice versa. It wouldn’t be anything he hadn’t vaguely seen before. But the thought of actually doing it make a knot form in your stomach. But it also made arousal pool between your legs at the thought of him seeing you in a different light.
Maybe this would be the transition you both needed to take your relationship to a different level.
You finally spoke after a while of contemplation. “I mean, sure. But I’ve never taken any before. I don’t even own sexy clothes.”
Simone waved you off. “It’s not that hard. Men are so easy to please. I got you.” She finished her milkshake in a few sucks and set the empty cup down on the table. “Come on, let’s go shopping.”
“Shopping?” you questioned.
Tara squealed. “Shopping, yes!” She quickly got up from her seat and dragged you out of yours.
Tara and Simone led you out of the food court and into Victoria’s Secret a few floors down. The three of you spent the next two hours picking different outfits, ranging from two piece sets, to one pieces, bralettes and panties. You ended up spending more than you thought you would’ve but it was all worth it.
You took them back to your house and the photoshoot began. Was it awkward at first? Yes. You barely wore tight fitted, revealing outfits, especially ones as sexual as this. But after a few test photos, your body loosened up and you gradually became more confident.
“Press your boobs together,” Tara shouted from behind the camera. You were laying flat on your back, your head hanging off the bed as you stared into the camera.
“This position looks silly,” you comment.
“You look smoking hot though!!”
Simone moves behind Tara and bends down to peek at the camera. She wrinkled her nose. “I agree. It looks a bit silly.”
You sat up, sighing. “Thank you.”
“Okay wait, what about sucking a finger into your mouth? Would Caleb be into that? Ooh! Or arching your back on the bed?” The longer you spent with Tara today, you realised she’s not as innocent as she looks. She really is the mastermind behind the operation. From picking out each lingerie set, to looking up seductive posts on Pinterest to make you copy.
“Are the ones we took now not enough?” you asked, muscles and back aching from bending over and twisting your body in such unnecessary positions.
“If you’re this tired after some nudes, how are you gonna get the stamina to get fucked hard by Caleb?” Tara retorted.
“I—”
Simone grabbed the phone and began scrolling through the photos. She picked out one she really liked and turned the phone to you. “This is the one you should send.”
It wasn’t any of the over the top poses Tara suggested. It was plain and simple but it got the job done. You were laying flat on the bed, holding the camera up in the form of a selfie, and biting your fingernail. The camera covered everything from your lips, down to your mid thigh, covered in fishnets from the lingerie.
“This one? Really?” you asked as you examined the photo. You weren’t denying you looked hot in it, but doubts were starting to fill your mind. What if he thinks you’re being desperate? Or if he thinks it’s distasteful to expose yourself like this for no reason. Though you know Caleb would never think of you that way, your brain can’t help but convince you otherwise.
“Or or maybe I should just delete them,” you request in a panic as Tara and Simone go through all the photos to see if there’s any better ones.
Upon hearing your request, Tara nearly breaks her neck with how quickly she looked up. “ExCUZE ME?! Delete them?! For what???! Why!”
“Because! What if he doesn’t like them? Or thinks I’m…desperate?” You scratch your arm, looking down at your thighs.
Simone’s nose twitched. “Then I’ll beat his ass.”
Tara added. “Well, it’ll suck if he does. But with how you described him, I don’t think he’d look at you that way. And if he does, you can always just say “oops meant to send to someone else” to save face. OH! We can even do the prank where we dress up as a boy and take photos to make him jealous!”
Hearing that, Simone smirked. “I’ll happily do that for you.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “No you’re right. Caleb wouldn’t do that. He’s never as much belittled me or even insulted me before in my life. I genuinely cant think of a negative think he’s said to me.”
“Soooooooo what’s the holdup?” Tara commented.
You shrugged. “I’ll send it. I just need time to process before I do it.” They both deadpanned you and you continued, feeling the urge to defend yourself. “You guys won’t understand! I’ve known him for over a decade! Almost 14 years! This kinda stuff you don’t send to someone like that without at least thinking it through.”
“You’re right,” they both hesitantly agreed.
You don’t end up sending Caleb the picture that night. Or the night after that. The day he’s supposed to return from his mission, you’re in bed, scrolling back through your messages. With no fault of yours, you had gone months without contact with him, assuming he was dead and all, but now you can barely even handle a few days.
His profile displayed a green dot beside his name and you sat up quickly, eyes darting all over your messages and seeing the “Read” Message pop up on each one.
He responds to each of them one by one, and your smile can’t stop growing as you see him reach the final message, the one about the burger.
Now you’re just showing off >:(
Anyway I’m back safe and sound from my mission did ya miss me ;)
yes so much
You responded without missing more than a second.
Oh didn’t expect you respond that quickly you MUSTVE missed me that bad huh
How much did u miss me?
You could tell him straight up. Tell him about how you read his messages everyday, thought about him almost every second for the last five days. Or you could just show him.
You opened your camera roll and picked out the photo. Your thumb trembled over the send button before finally pressing down on it. Your stomach dropped as you saw it send in chat officially. It was too late now.
Caleb read it and stayed quiet. Thirty seconds passed and he didn’t respond and you felt like you wanted to throw up. Your thumbs were already typing out Tara’s excuse: oh sorry! I meant to send that to someone else
And before you could press send, Caleb responded.
Is that for me?
You swallowed. If you said yes, and he hated it, then your excuse wouldn’t work anymore. You decided to risk it all and simply respond truthfully.
Yes. Is it…bad?
Caleb takes longer to respond than usual and less than thirty seconds later a picture sends in chat. His cock stands tall in frame, precum leaking out from the tip. His hand has a firm grin around the base off it, the tip a reddish hue in comparison to its natural pink colour.
Your breathing stopped as you stared at it. This was Caleb’s dick. You were fucking staring at his dick.
You swiped out of the picture and sent a 😧😯😮😲 combination. The two of you often communicated through emojis and you weren’t sure how to respond with words.
Caleb sent crying emojis.
Did you like it?
Yes? You’ve been hiding that the whole time?
Says you. I knew your body was gorgeous but fuck.
You fought the urge to kick your feet together, curling into a ball on your side as you tried to not let his words get to you. Clearing your throat, you refocus yourself and send another message.
Sooooo what now 🧍♀️
I dunno 🧍
You get ready to type a response before he double texts.
Do you wanna call?
You never thought you’d see the day you’d actually be nervous answering a call from Caleb before.
Yes
You barely had time to let the message marinate before Caleb started calling. Readying yourself, you pressed the phone up to your ear and swiped.
“Hello?”
“Hey,” he responded, taking a deep breath. “Is it just me or is this sorta awkward now.”
“No it’s definitely awkward,” you joked, laughing under your breath.
“I mean, I can always blame you for it.”
“What?” You almost shrieked and broke your back with how quick you sat up from your bed. “How is this my fault?!”
“Nobody asked you to send me that sexy photo out of nowhere,” he joked, tone light despite his words. You didn’t take anything to heart however.
“Yeah, well be grateful. Otherwise you would’ve died without seeing a girl in lingerie before.”
“How do you know I haven’t seen that before?”
“Because I know you, Caleb.” You said each word slowly. “Or at least I hope you haven’t.” You paused, voice softening ever so slightly. “Have you?”
“I was joking around. Of course I hadn’t. I am assuming though you’d never seen another guys dick before?”
“Well obviously I have. Like in movies and stuff. But not in person.”
“What kind of movies were you watching?” he questioned, suspiciously.
“You know! Just movies! Shut up,” you whined, ignoring his obnoxious laughter. “Anyway, dudes sent me unsolicited pics in college all the time. I’ve seen dicks before. They weren’t like yours though.” The words spilled from your mouth without even realising you said it.
“Oh? What’s the difference between mine and theirs?”
You didn’t realise the interest in his tone with how distracted you were, eyes closed and picturing the sight of Caleb’s dick in the black fog of your mind. You could always go back and look at the photo, but you wanted to burn the sight in your memory first.
“Yours was bigger. And for once, looking at a dick didn’t make me wanna throw up. Theirs were so…ew. Like it was never hard, which is so fucking offensive. If you’re gonna send me that shit unsolicited by the way, at least sprout a hard on or something. Fucking hell.”
Caleb laughed. “You should’ve seen how quick your picture got me hard. It’s not normal.” His voice dropped a little and you inhaled sharply.
“R—really?”
“Yeah,” he said slowly, sounding slightly out of breath, his breathing ragged.
“What did you like about it?” you questioned, shifting down onto your back on the bed.
“Everything. Fuck. You—why are you so hot?” His voice betrayed him at that moment. He let out a soft moan and you could hear wet sounds in the background if you listened close enough.
Your hand trailed down your stomach, entering your panties and softly rubbing your clit. “W—what else?”
“Your skin. Looks so soft—mm—and your lips around your finger? Holy fuck.” His filter was long gone now, freely speaking his mind about your body. Your thighs clenched together.
“Do you wish they were wrapped around something else?”
“God yes,” he sounded so whiny, his hand moving faster up and down his aching cock. “You don’t know how much I love your lips.” He says your name and for a moment you freeze up.
It’s not often he says your name, and you’ve been so used to just hearing him address you as Pipsqueak. Hearing your name roll off his tongue so easily, and with how whiny he sounds right now, you couldn’t help but insert a finger into yourself.
Your legs twitched as you began pumping your finger in and out, back arching off the bed and an involuntary moan left your throat. “Caleb—”
“Yes, princess? What is it?”
“I wanna see you so bad right now—mm—fuck.” You gasped as you curled your fingers inside you, shoving them as deep as you could. “I need you.”
“I need you more. Shit. I’m gonna cum soon,” he announced, squeezing the tip of his cock whenever his hand reached it.
“It’s hard to make myself come,” you whined. You were never able to successfully have an orgasm on your own and it was frustrating. You wanted nothing more than to experience it first hand right now with Caleb.
“I’ll help you. Shit. I can teach you. I’ll do whatever you want me to do. Next time I see you, I promise.”
“Please,” your voice barely reached the mic.
“Fuck!” he let out a loud moan as he came, heavy pants slowly turning to whimpers as his cock milked him dry. He couldn’t control his breathing for at least thirty seconds and you just listened to him pant until he caught himself.
Letting out one more shaky exhale, he tried to swallow but his throat was dry. “Fuck my throat hurts.”
You laughed and pulled your fingers out. Unable to reach an orgasm, you frowned. But the promise he left earlier gave you hope.
“Go drink some water dummy.” You looked down at your fingers, glistening with your slick and contemplated. “Wait Caleb.”
“Hm?”
“Check chat.”
You put the phone on speaker and opened the chat camera, taking a photo of your wet index and middle finger, a string of slick connecting them both. You captioned it:
Drink me instead
Feeling more bold, you sent it without even batting an eye. You could hear the exact moment Caleb processed your message with his sharp inhale. You heard the sound of screenshots being taken, once, twice, then three times.
“Okay okay damn chill out,” you said while laughing, Caleb joining in.
“What does it taste like?” he asked, utterly curious.
“Come find out,” you responded, voice just as sultry as your words.
“Don’t tempt me. I’ll come over right now.”
“Wait now?” You glanced at the clock, the time reading almost 2 am. “You have work in the morning don’t you?”
“So what? I have bigger priorities right now.”
On one hand it would be so wrong for the Farspace Fleet’s Colonel to miss work over some pussy, but on the other hand, you hated the goddamn fleet.
“Well what are you waiting for?”

This was such a sweet and lovely story! I really do love a good ye olde/ royalty fic 😍
Thank you for writing this wonderful story and sharing it with us!
When I was reading, I decided to write down my thoughts as I go because I knew I'd forget otherwise so below this is literally just the thoughts I wrote down because I do not have the brain power to convert them into actual fully coherent comments [I'll put them below a read more cut for the sake of spoilers and such]
-
“ He was notably excited and couldn’t sit down ” aw bless him
“ He tucked a strand of dark brown hair behind his ear, practically bouncing in his place. ” okay how dare he be so cute and precious tho, this story isn’t about you chan, take a step back (im kidding you’re so cute pls never stop)
“ it was almost two hours ” just the thought of that makes me exhausted omg
“ against his lifelong accomplice, Jeonghan. ” I read “accomplice” as “companion” at first and was like damn, I didn’t know it was that kinda story 😂
“ the bread perfectly golden and risen in small domes ” mm delicious
“ You knew if that happened, neither you or Chan would be allowed to return to the castle. ” I think the punishment would be a bit more severe than that for risking choking the prince, yikes, imagine that shitshow
“ this rustic meal ” nah why does that feel like an insult tho
“ You lay on your back, atop the fountain’s wide stone ledge, listening to the gushing water and staring up at the crescent moon. ” this sounds pretty perfect ngl
“ And right when you felt his lips ghost yours, Seokmin took a step back and you heard a huge fit of laughter erupt from the thick brush in the background. ” what assholes!
“ “Perhaps that cook quite liked you.” ” 😏 perhaps indeed
I love the way you describe stuff btw, I can be real iffy about descriptions sometimes because some people go over the top with it and I get bored, but you manage to paint a picture so effectively that I genuinely feel kind of envious of this character and I want to be her to experience the scenery
“ The next time you saw the Prince, you weren’t going to let him off easy. ” BEAT HIS ASSSSS
“ “you do not deserve my manners,” ” you tell him!
“ “Have you ever been left to wait, darling?” ” SCREAMING
“ “Not immediately, angel.” ” STOP IT, I WILL COMBUST
“ Suddenly, he cupped the sides of your face in his tender hands, urging you forward again, his lips brushing yours in such a gentle manner that a shiver tingled down your spine. ” AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH im fine (im not)
“ Everything felt like it was collapsing around you. ” looks like she’s not fine either, poor baby :((
“ “I refused the marriage to Lady Adelaide. She will return to Markarth before the sunset. I only told my mother and father this morning.” ” ahahhahahaha good
“ “I’m saying that I’m in love with you.” ” SCREECHING OVER HERE
“ “I-I thought I should gift it to you. And, whenever we must be apart, you can just think of this necklace, and the comfort that comes from a firefly’s glow.” ” nooo that’s so cute
⚬ pairing: prince!seokmin x fem!reader ⚬ word count: 12,690 ⚬ warnings: none. ⚬ genre: enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, angst, teasing, some slowburn romance, superfluff toward the end.

✧✎ a/n: yeah… i’ve wanted to write some prince!lsm since his excalibur pictures. evidently, i am very late! i hope u enjoy nonetheless :-)
Hiking up the long, heavy layers of your dress, pale and coloured like lilacs, you retrieved a small carving knife that had been clandestinely strapped against your outer thigh. Buried a few feet away from you in the grass was a smooth, palm-sized piece of beech wood, which you quickly picked up before walking back to the bench. You sat down horizontally, stretching out your legs and taking up as much space as possible whilst you started carving down the edges of the beech wood, flicking away the occasional shavings.

strawberry danishes | joaquin torres x fem!reader

Pairing: Joaquin Torres x Fem!Reader Summary: Joaquin Torres has a crush on the cute girl that comes to the coffee shop he frequents. Little does he know, you've been crushing on him too. He's never regretted eating a strawberry danish more than the day you finally come up to him and start a conversation. Warnings: TW for food/coffee etc. Word Count: 2.7k A/N: I saw Captain America: Brave New World last Friday and honestly I spent the entire time staring at Joaquin. I've loved him since TFATWS but I loved seeing more of him in this movie and I immediately wanted to write for him after but I was away for the weekend without my laptop, so literally as soon as I was home I knew I needed to start working on something for him. This was inspired by the song Coffee Cake by Benson Boone. I really hope you enjoy and please let me know if you guys want me to write more for Joaquin!
Joaquin Torres knew your coffee order before he even knew your name.
It wasn’t in a creepy way – he wasn’t stalking you or anything. The two of you just happened to frequent the same coffee shop. Whenever Joaquin was home, he had a routine of stopping by a local cafe by the park near his apartment for a coffee and a pastry after his morning run. The small cafe obviously had a place in your morning routine too.
The first time he saw you he couldn’t help but think about how gorgeous you were, and it wasn’t just the fact that the sun was shining through the window beside you, coating you in the warm, golden light. He was a fairly confident person but for some reason, he couldn’t find it in himself to approach you that day and talk to you.
He told himself that he’d do it the next time he saw you, but the next time you were in and out of the cafe so quickly he barely even saw you from his spot across the room, his mouth full of a bite of blueberry danish.
Then, work called him away and he was gone for weeks. Any time he made himself a coffee over the next few weeks, he thought of you. He was fully aware that it was probably incredibly creepy of him to be doing so – he didn’t know the first thing about you, and you had no idea who he was – but he had a crush. He had to admit that to himself.
When he was back home, he looked forward to his morning coffee more than anything simply because of the chance that he might see you. Luck happened to be in his favour, too, as when he walked in and joined the line to order, you had lined up behind him. He had no idea, of course, until he’d ordered and stepped off to the side. The poor boy had almost choked on air itself when he turned to see you ordering after him.
“Just an iced chocolate to-go, please,” you said.
It was the first time Joaquin had heard your voice and he was pretty certain that it was the actual sound of angels coming down from the heavens. He had to force himself to look away from you so he didn’t get caught staring. He was so stuck in his own head, focused on your beauty, that he didn’t even hear the barista calling his name and order out for collection.
He felt a slight tap on his shoulder and looked down to see you looking up at him.
“Hey,” Joaquin managed, his voice a little breathless. Oh, this was so embarrassing. The first thing he can think to say to you when you initiate a conversation with him and it’s hey?
You pointed towards the counter. “I think that’s your order. The barista keeps looking at you when he’s calling out Joaquin.”
Joaquin cleared his throat. “Oh, right. Thanks.” He chuckled awkwardly and moved to grab his coffee, planning to turn around afterwards and introduce himself properly. By the way, the name is Torres. Joaquin Torres. And what would your name be? Something beautiful, I’m sure.
It was probably for the best that by the time he turned around – oblivious to the death stare the barista was giving him, irritated at having to shout his name out multiple times – you had moved across the room to take a seat at a table by the window. Now it would just look weird if he was to walk all the way over to you and introduce himself. You’d excused yourself from the conversation.
Disappointed, Joaquin took a sip of his coffee and forced himself out of the cafe, berating himself in his thoughts the whole way. It was only when he’d gotten back to his apartment that he realised he’d left behind the pastry that he’d ordered alongside his coffee.
More time passed and Joaquin had been working so often he hadn’t had any time to get back to the cafe. He started to wonder if possibly this was all just nothing more than a silly crush on a passer-by. That maybe, you weren’t destined to say anything more than the words that you’d shared at the cafe that day a month ago.
Joaquin wasn’t going to stop going by his favourite cafe though. If you spoke to him, of course he’d speak back to you. But he wasn’t going to go out of his way to talk to someone that clearly wasn’t as interested in him as he was in you, judging on your past interaction.
He settled down at a table by the window, placing the plate containing his strawberry danish down in front of him. It wasn’t long before the staff brought over the coffee he’d ordered and he could dig into his danish without being interrupted. He’d missed these mornings while he’d been working. There wasn’t much else that filled him quite like the peace he had when he was in the cafe.
He wasn’t watching the door when you walked into the cafe and went to order. He was too preoccupied with his danish, taking a rather large bite of it and almost moaning at the taste of it. There was nothing as good as a danish from this place, he was sure of it.
He was still too busy eating the danish to notice you walking over to his table, a plate of your own in your hands. It was only when he noticed someone stood beside the table that he looked up, swallowing the mouthful of danish – and luckily not choking on it as his eyes settled on you. He’d assumed it might have been another member of staff, maybe they’d given him the wrong coffee, but he had not expected you.
“You’re in my seat,” you said simply, looking down at the man and trying so hardly not to smile at the sight of him, sitting there looking up at you with wide eyes and sugar all around his mouth and even on the tip of his nose.
Joaquin was lost for words and it took him a moment to find something to say. “You can sit here! I didn’t realise this was your seat. Do you want me to move? Hang on, let me just get this sugar off my hands and I’ll–”
“Hey, it’s fine. Really,” you smiled, pulling the chair out on the opposite side of the table and moving to sit down “You can stay here. Actually, I’ve kind of been waiting to have an excuse to talk to you, so thanks for sitting in my seat. Joaquin, right?”
He stared at you for a moment. “How do you know my name?” He didn’t even know your name, so how was it possible that you knew his? Unless you’d asked the barista about him… wait… you’d been waiting for an excuse to talk to him? Was his brain short circuiting? Was he dreaming? Surely he was dreaming. Under the table, he pinched the skin of his arm between his fingers… nope… not dreaming…
“Last time I saw you in here, you were spacing out and the barista was calling your name. I had to tell you that your order was being called,” you said, a little sheepishly. “I guess you don’t remember that.” Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all… he was cute, sure, but if he didn’t remember that, he clearly wasn’t as interested in you as you were in him.
Recognition sparked in Joaquin’s mind. “Oh, I do remember that! I wasn’t spacing out, I was just distracted by y– by something.” Admitting he was distracted by you was probably not the best way to start your first proper conversation. “But that makes sense now. I don’t know your name, though. I guess you listen more carefully when they call your order out.”
“I try my best,” you admitted, before introducing yourself to him properly. It was hard not to admit the fact that Joaquin was probably the cutest guy you’d ever seen, especially with the sugar on his face. “You, uh… you have some sugar on your face by the way. Here and here.” You motioned to the spots on your own face so he could tell where to wipe.
His eyes widened again as he grabbed for the napkin and started to wipe the sugar off.
“So, what were you distracted by that day?” You attempted to change the subject.
“Uhhhh…” Joaquin thought for a moment. “You know what? I actually can’t remember. It’s been a while, lots has happened between then and now, I guess.” He laughed a little. “Anyway, let’s not skip over what you said when you sat down – you’ve been looking for an excuse to talk to me? I’d like to know more about that, actually.”
He watched, intrigued and entirely enthralled by you, as you became slightly shy at his words. Like the ones you’d said had been spoken on accident and that you’d been hoping he wasn’t going to bring them up again. But if there was one thing you’d learn about Joaquin, it was that he was always going to bring up the things you thought you could forget.
“Okay, well… I’ve noticed you in the cafe a few times over the last few months and I figured we must both come here pretty often in the mornings for me to see you so often. And… well…” You trailed off, your eyes falling to the plate in front of you.
Joaquin leant forward. “You can’t just leave me on a cliffhanger.”
“I thought you were cute!” You admitted, probably a little louder than you should’ve. “I thought you were cute and I’ve been trying to get the courage to talk to you ever since I first saw you. But you haven’t been in here for a while and the last time I saw you, I chickened out of having an actual conversation with you and ran away.”
It took every part of your strength not to get up and leave the table straight away out of sheer embarrassment. Admitting to a total stranger that you thought they were cute was not the kind of thing that you usually did. But something kept drawing you to Joaquin and today you’d just been given the perfect opportunity to do something about it.
You couldn’t meet his eyes for a while, meaning you missed the look of shock on his face and the way his face gradually broke out into a smile of disbelief. You thought he was cute? He thought you were cute! Luck had somehow been on his side today.
“You think I’m cute?” Joaquin replied, a smirk on his lips and the confidence he’d been missing over the last few months whenever he was around you returning immediately.
Your eyes flickered up to his, surprised to see that he actually seemed to be happy about it. “Well, yeah…”
Joaquin couldn’t keep the stupid smile off his face. “I swear I’m not just saying this, but I’ve been trying to get the confidence to talk to you, too. I’m a confident guy but for some reason, every time I’ve seen you in here I suddenly become the least confident man on earth.”
You didn’t doubt his words. They seemed completely truthful and you knew right away that Joaquin was not the kind of guy to lie to you. He was inherently honest.
“I haven’t been in here for a while cause of work,” Joaquin continued. “I’m in the Air Force. Means I’m not home too often, so I make the most of it when I am.” He decided to leave out the part about him practically being an Avenger. That was something he could ease you into. He had a feeling that dropping the whole Oh yeah, by the way I’m also the new Falcon would scare you off more than intrigue you.
“Well, that explains why I haven’t seen you lately,” you nodded. “So, you just come here for breakfast when you’re in town?”
He nodded. “I have a bit of a routine of a coffee and a danish after my morning run. I’m pretty glad that I do now, especially since you came to talk to me today. Even if I had sugar all over my face and embarrassed the hell outta myself when you did.”
Joaquin was pretty sure he was never going to live that down. It was certainly something that Sam Wilson was never going to hear about or he would tease him about it for the rest of his life, he was sure of that.
You laughed. “Okay, but the sugar on your face was actually kind of cute, and if I knew you better I would have just wiped it off for you instead of embarrassing you by telling you so you had to do it yourself.”
“Why don’t we get to know each other better then?” Joaquin saw his chance and took it. “Let me take you out on a date, somewhere that isn’t this coffee shop and somewhere I won’t eat something that covers my face in sugar. What do you say?”
He was pretty confident that you were going to say yes, especially when he saw your lips curl into a smile. He could almost see the cogs turning in your mind as you tried to figure out what to say to answer him.
“C’mon, let me take you out. I promise I’m not some kind of creep – and yes, I’m well aware that is exactly what someone who is a creep would say – but I’m really not,” he laughed. “All I am is a guy who’s been crushing on the cute girl who keeps coming into my coffee shop and trying to convince myself to talk to her.”
“Okay, okay – fine, I’ll go on a proper date with you,” you agreed, unable to keep it in any longer. Watching him try and convince you was so incredibly endearing but you couldn’t keep him waiting when he was clearly so eager to take you out.
Joaquin grinned. “So… can I pick you up at 7, then?”
“Tonight?”
“You got other plans?”
You shook your head. “No, I just didn’t expect you to be so quick with it.”
“Well, with my job, I could be gone tomorrow and I feel like we’ve already wasted enough time, don’t you? I mean… we’ve both liked each other for months without knowing a single thing about each other apart from our coffee orders. I’d like to change that,” he admitted.
“All right,” you agreed with a nod. “You’ll pick me up at 7. But right now, I am going to eat this pastry that’s been sitting here in front of me the whole time and I’ll let you finish your danish cause after all, you did steal my seat and I did come here to eat some breakfast.”
Joaquin chuckled and picked up his danish again. “You promise to tell me if I get sugar all over my face again?”
“Maybe,” you grin. “Like I said, you looked pretty cute with sugar all over your face.”
He shook his head and took a bite of his danish. He’d thought he wasn’t going to live this down if Sam ever found out about it, but he hadn’t counted on you being one to keep reminding him about it. But… you found it cute, so Joaquin was pretty sure he could live with that… hearing you calling him cute.
You smiled to yourself as you watched him bite into the danish and end up with sugar on his face again. It wasn’t everywhere like it had been before but it was on the corner of his mouth.
He looked over at you. “I have sugar on my face again, don’t I?”
“You trying to get me to tell you that I think you’re cute again, Joaquin?”
“Can you blame a guy for liking the fact that a pretty girl thinks he’s cute?”
Smiling, you reached over and swiped your finger over the corner of his mouth, removing the sugar from it. You almost laughed at the way Joaquin froze and the look of shock on his face. He was pretty sure he’d just died and gone to heaven, actually.
“You just had a little bit of sugar there,” you hummed, picking your own danish up.
Joaquin let out a long, shaky breath. Who knew a strawberry danish could be so dangerous?

Hugs?

pairing: lando norris x reader words: ig around 500? warinings: periods?
summary: you wake up with cramps and your boyfriend comforts you <3
You woke up in the morning feeling like crap. Your whole body was aching and even just the thought about moving just a little made it hurt even more.
Lando was still softly snoring next to you with his arm wrapped around your waist and his face buried in your neck. You gently moved his arm from your waist as the pain was just intensifying with the pressure. Your boyfriend scrunched his face but didn’t wake up. Luckily.
You didn’t need him to wake up to you being on your period the first time he stayed over at yours. You knew how unbearable you could become when you were in pain and your hormones were all over the place.
But only a few minutes later you could feel Lando stir next to you as he stretched himself and rubbed his eyes before opening them and looking at you with so much love in them you thought you would melt in a puddle right now.
“Hey, darling. How long have you been awake?”, he asked with a sleepy smile on his face.
“Not long. Maybe ten minutes or so. You slept well?”, you asked as you pressed a kiss to Lando’s lips.
“Yeah. Your bed is comfy. Or maybe I just like having you next to me. You ok? You look a little pale”, Lando said while he furrowed his brow in worry.
“All good, Lan. Just tired”, you tried to reassure him though you could see that your boyfriend didn’t believe you.
The next moment you couldn’t pretend to be fine anymore as a sharp wave of pain rolled through you, making you swear under your breath. “Fuck.”
“You are absolutely not ok. Is it your period?”, Lando asked and you just stared at him perplexed. “I have sisters. No pretending here. I did it all. Doing hot water bottles. Going to the store to get chocolate or whatever cravings they had. Buying pads in the middle of the night. Seriously, just be honest. Is it bad?”
You couldn’t help but nod as you felt your eyes well up with tears by how sweet your boyfriend was.
“You want a heating pad? Hot chocolate? Painkillers? Hugs?”, Lando asked again and you nodded while the tears started falling.
“Oh, baby. No crying, ok?”, Lando said as he wiped the tears from his your cheek. “I’ll be back in a minute”, he continued as he got up.
As promised, he returned only a little later, having a heating pad, painkillers, water, and a cup of hot chocolate in his hands. He placed it all in front of you and sat down next to you, wrapping his arms around you again. You leaned your head on his chest and let yourself just be held.
Lando leaned forward a little and grabbed the painkillers that he then held out to you.
“Here. They’ll help.” He grabbed that water bottle as well and opened the lid.
You took a sip and placed the bottle back on the table to swap it with the hot chocolate.
“I hate seeing you in pain”, Lando said as he kissed the top of your head.
“Well, I hate being in pain”, you said chuckling a little. “But thanks for being here. For taking care of me. I was scared you might be grossed out”, you admitted.
“Grossed out? Never. You are amazing and I won’t leave over something so small. I love you, Y/N.”
“I love you too, Lan.”
a/n: something short bc i am planning to write something else but don’t have any inspiration… also, i think all of us deserve a lando in our life who makes us hot chocolate

"Young and Beautiful"
Prologue
ya'll, I cannot sleep with my arm in this stupid cast, so i started rereading "the great Gatsby" (my comfort book) and i got this idea. i know, i know, i have 3 unfinished fics buttttttt i'm injured and this is my blog and i have free will so i'm writing this. This is yandere romantic batboys and bruce x reader. BUT set in the roaring 20's. Send in asks, requests, ideas, and just what you think about this! Likes, comments, reblogs and asks are encouraged and keep me going! Love yall <333. This is written in 1st person, reader is recalling events in her journal. This is a rough draft for the prologue! Sorry if it doesnt make sense, i'm high off pain meds writing this bc i'm BORED.
The first time I saw Jason Todd, he was nothing to me Just another boy in my father’s estate, covered in dirt, hands rough from labor, his bruised knuckles proof of a fight he hadn’t won. His blue eyes were sharp, full of something wild, something untamed, something that made you bristle, the kind of fire you knew to stay away from, even at 12 years old.
The first time I spoke to Jason Todd, two years after I saw him, I thought he was filth.
He was a boy covered in dirt, his hands stained with mud and the smell of horses, his knuckles raw from a fight he clearly hadn’t won. His face was sharp, bruised, skinny and too wild for someone who worked under my father’s name. He was nothing, just another street rat lucky enough to be given work in my father’s stables, another nameless stray that old Mr. Wilkes had dragged in from the gutters of Gotham. He smelled like sweat, hay, and something sharp, something angry.
I was fourteen years old and wore pearls around my throat, a silk dress with delicate lace at the sleeves. My father’s estate stretched over rolling green fields, our mansion standing tall like something out of a dream. My mother’s hands were soft, her perfume sweet, and I had never known hunger or want. My world was a world of glittering lights and expensive champagne, of high society and grand parties, of people who smiled with their teeth but whispered behind painted fans.
Jason Todd did not belong in my world.
Yet, somehow, he slipped in like a stain on silk.
We met on the back steps of the estate, where the stable boys cut through to the gardens. I was waiting for my automobile when he nearly ran into me, boots dragging dust over my polished shoes.
Jason Todd? He was filth beneath my shoes.
Or at least, that’s what I told myself.
Because the first time I met him, he nearly ran into me.
He didn’t bow like other servants did, he didn’t apologize profusely and beg for forgiveness.
He barely even looked at me before muttering, “Watch it,” like I was in his way.
I had never been spoken to like that in my life.
I hated him immediately.
I took a startled step back, wrinkling my nose at the smell of sweat, hay, and horse.
The nerve.
I straightened my back like Daddy told me to when I wanted to look serious and I tilted my chin up as I stared down at him. "Excuse me?"
Jason smirked, slow and lazy, eyes glinting with amusement. "Did I stutter?"
I had never wanted to slap someone so badly.
Instead, I remember turning and walked away, forgetting my plans of going into town, heels clicking sharply against the stone, vowing to never look at him again and to hate him forever, no matter how handsome he was,.
That vow didn’t last long, especially when he took off his shirt.
Jason was everywhere.
I saw him at the stables, his shirtless back slick with sweat, muscles shifting under tanned skin as he worked. I saw him sneaking apples from the kitchen, disappearing into the trees, laughter on his lips. I saw him in the streets, fists flying, always coming back with fresh bruises, always alive in a way no one else was.
And then, you heard about him.
"That stable boy got into another fight," the maids whispered. "Damn near killed the other boy, apparently the other kid got smart about his lady."
At the time, I thought the strange burning feeling in my gut was disgust at even hearing Jason's name. Now I know, what I felt was pure jealousy, not knowing the 'lady' Jason nearly killed a boy over was me.
"He’s trouble," my mother warned when I asked about him at dinner. "Keep away from him, sweetheart."
"He won’t last long here," my mother sighed. "That kind of boy never does, no matter how much of a soft spot your father has for him."
My father pitied Jason, told me I oughta be nicer to him like I am to the other workers (he would regret that statement soon.)
He had no one. No mother, no father, no family, nothing but the clothes on his back and determination. He had what my father called "the look of a man who'd rather die than fail" and my father respected that.
But Jason did last.
I hated him.
Hated the way he smirked at me from across the gardens, like he knew something I didn’t.
I hated the way he never bowed, never apologized, never treated me like the others did.
I hated that when I was alone, when my father’s friends spoke about marrying me off to the sons of their business partners, I thought of Jason Todd instead.
The first conversation I had with Jason Todd was after I had fought with my father.
It was about marriage. About duty. About a boy I didn’t love.
I ran into the garden dramatically ignoring my father's desperate calls, pearls at my throat, tears in my eyes.
And Jason was already there.
Sprawled under an oak tree, cigarette between his lips, watching me like he’d been waiting for this moment all his life.
"You rich girls cry over the dumbest shit," he muttered.
I whipped around. "What did you just say to me?" How dare he speak to me like I was any other girl, like this wasn't my home, like he didn't work for my father.
Jason pushed himself up, boots kicking up dirt as he smirked. "You ever go to bed hungry?"
My breath caught. He had a point, you were privileged.
"Ever steal to survive?" His voice was low, teasing, sharp. "Ever wake up in the morning and wonder if you’ll still have a roof over your head by sundown?"
I didn’t answer, for the first time in years I felt something close to shame.
Jason tilted his head, his eyes gleaming with resentment. "Didn’t think so, princess."
I hated him. He made me feel childish. He humbled me. He burst my perfect bubble.
And I loved him for it.
I loved him for making you feel something real.
And that was the beginning of everything.
I loved Jason Todd.
I loved him when he me you out of the house at midnight and made me ride my horse bareback through the fields.
I loved him when he knocked the rich boy who called me a tease's teeth out.
I loved him when he threw pebbles at my window on the third floor and scaled the walls to my balcony.
I loved him when he kissed me for the first time at 14 under the summer stars, hands gripping my waist, mouth desperate against mine.
"You’re my Jason, my Jaybird," I whispered against his lips. Corny, but nothing felt better to say, especially when I saw his face.
Jason smiled like I had given him the whole damn world.
And he? He was my whole world.
When Jason was seventeen and I was fifteen, he walked into my father’s grand house, dressed in his best suit, nervous but determined and proud, his hands clean for once, his boots polished.
He asked my father for my hand in marriage. He asked my father for my hand and I thought he would say yes. Daddy always thought he was a hard worker, called him a real good sport.
He stood before my father and said, “I love her, sir. I’ll make her happy. Give me a chance. I ain't got much now, but one day I will. I'll give her what she's got and more.”
My father just laughed.
“Boy,” he said, shaking his head, “she’s not meant for men like you.”
Jason left that night, whispering a promise against my skin.
"I’ll come back for you, I'll be great. Be a man like how your daddy wants, rich and proper, he'll have to say yes."
I waited, god knows I did.
I wrote letters to the last address he gave me every single day.
For five years. Till I turned twenty. I never looked at another man, I had my Jason.
I waited for him to reply, fought off suitors and pressure from my mother. I waited for a reply, that he was coming soon, that he missed me.
I waited.
And my Jaybird never came back.
My father loved me.
He regretted turning Jason away five years later, when I still refused to marry. He never forced me to marry, not even when the years passed and my suitors grew frustrated with my refusals.
He saw my misery, my longing and admitted, “I should’ve said yes. I should’ve let you have him.”
He thought my Jason was a passing infatuation, he wondered what people would say about his daughter marrying the stable boy.
He wished he saw my love for Jason sooner.
But love wasn’t enough to keep the debt collectors away.
I knew something was wrong when my father began to look stressed, when my parents began to argue, and when I heard my mother cry herself to sleep after selling her favorite pearls.
My father was going to loose everything all at once.
The steel business wasn't what it used to be.
And then suddenly, Bruce Wayne arrived like a knight in shining armor.
He was older than me, 18 years my senior. Refined, powerful, and dangerously charming.
And most importantly, rich. He was exactly what I needed to stop my family's fall from grace.
Bruce courted me like a gentleman.
He sent roses every morning, took me to the finest restaurants, whispered in my ear about a future where I would never want for anything again.
He was patient.
He never forced me to love him.
He only asked for one thing.
"Let me take care of you."
I kept Bruce waiting for three months. All I could do was think of Jason. I knew he was not returning, that he either was dead or found some other pretty girl to make promises to.
I told myself love was not enough to fill an empty stomach and keep my parents happy like they did for me.
I told myself that Jason Todd was not coming back to save me, yet each morning I woke up waiting for a letter or pebbles thrown at my window.
After four months of courting, I decided.
And at twenty, I became Mrs. Bruce Wayne.
Jason Todd never sent me a single letter, but I still dreamed of my Jaybird even as I looked at the massive ring on my finger.
OKKKKK SO WHAT YA'LL THINK??? CONTINUE OR DELETE??? FLOP OR BOP? SEND IN ASKS!!!! I MISS YALL! THIS IS MY FIRST TIME WRITING ROMANCE W JASON AND BRUCE. I REALLY LIKE THIS AU!!!! WHAT DO YALL THINK IS GONNA HAPPEN? SORRU IF IT SUCKS OR DOESNT MAKE SENSE, I'M SO HIGH BRO.
BE NICE PLEASE, I'M IN PAIN! THIS IS NOT EDITED OR PROOF READ.

can you do sugar daddy Kaiser who's always been rude and rough with reader but one day when he realises he's falling in love with them he's really gentle, asking how they feel and praising them? if possible can you do fluff along with nsfw???
ahh hii anon!! thank uu i appreciate ur words <33 anywayss i love the plot ohh gosh ygs r so creative omg
"And all I wanna do is stay with HER"
ft. michael kaiser . sugar daddy! kaiser . ooc! kaiser lol... . ness is in the story omg! . is ness ooc! too... . yes ness is ooc asw . character development.? . eventual smut . sex gulp... . piv ! . afab! reader . mistreated! reader ... . fluff asw . unreliable narrator
wc: 1.0k
"she's annoying." kaiser grumbled, taking a sip of wine. ness looked at him, "[name] cares about you that's why." the magician tried to lighten the mood. clearly, it didn't work.
"she just wants fucking money." he retorted. ness frowned, "can't you look at it in a positive way.? at least she's trying. take a look at all the others you've had."
that sentence had kaiser reflecting for a bit. "huh. i suppose you have a point for once, ness." the prodigy felt himself get a little flushed. "you're treating her so rough, how often does she even ask for money.?" ness continued. "don't be so harsh man! she's trying..."
the emperor tsked. "if she's so 'perfect' you take her then." he grumbled. jeez this guy is really helpless man... ness looked at kaiser disgusted for the first time.
"keep acting like that and she's bound to become who you think she really is." ness thought as he picked himself up and left kaiser to his thoughts.
later within the night, kaiser found himself scrolling through your photos after sending you some money (oh need that.) it hit him you were gorgeous. pretty face with a kind heart.. he was going to go insane.
the more he scrolled the more he admired your beauty. you radiated an aura that he just couldn't place his finger on. perfection was a word too vague to describe it.
shaking his head, he set his phone down. hands on his head, he was wondering. what the literal hell was he doing.? all he's ever done was treat you like shit because he had such horrendous experiences with others.
i mean, you were like the others. you were just there for the money... and attention i guess. but there was something more to it. he was just to blind to see it. (tf r ur glasses for mihya bro.)
it was late — hella late. 2:32 A.M.? there's no way you'd come over right? so what the heck were you doing at his door in a matter of moments?
kaiser opened his door, surprised. "you — you actually came?" he asked, somewhat in disbelief. "i'm right here aren't i, dumbass.. plus you called." you shrugged.
the satin on the bed somewhat wrinkled as the both of you sat down. "um, so why'd you want me to come ove-" you were quickly interrupted by an apology. "[name], liebling. i'm sorry. i'm sorry for my behaviour, how i treated you. scheiße, i'm so fuckin' sorry."
he held your visibly smaller and softer hands. his hands feeling quite the opposite. you were kinda a dumbass, "wha — michael huh...?" you shook your head giggling, "what are you apologizing for?"
his gorgeous blue eyes stared into yours. "don't act coy with me, [name]. you don't need to forgive me. i'll do whatever for your forgiveness. please. do you want more money? gifts.? flowers..? wha.. god. what do you want?!" kaiser asked desperately.
you looked at him with a deadpan expression. god, has this man ever been treated alright.? "mihya, i don't really want anything. yea i mean i love money i mean — who doesn't love money. but i'm not here solely because of money." you sighed.
"yes, you have money is definitely a positive trait but, you have more to it. money isn't the only thing that makes you lovable." you continued to ramble. his hands released yours. you were caught in his embrace.
"mihya.?" you whispered. kaiser knew how scary it was to love someone. the amount of devotion you must give. the time and effort. one wrong move? it could all crumble.
his embrace got tighter, you were tensing a little bit up. was he gonna beat you like what the heck is goin' on?! he knew you were always running away from love, 'cause your daddy never gave you enough :((
hey, same for him as well, no? "meine liebe." kaiser breathed, "let's try again together. i'm done with the 'you deserve better' bullshit. i have the choice to be better and i'm taking it."
he loosened his embrace on you, hands on your shoulders. you met his gaze. all it could scream was blue of desperation. not going to even lie, most dedication you've seen in your whole life.
you were still skeptical — hell, i can't blame you! you've been mistreated all the time by partners, getting taken advantage of... what change is this rich and attractive man going to do? he has the money, the women ugh... thinking about it made your head hurt.
"what do you say, liebling. let me show you.?" he leaned in, mumbling into your ear. hah! as if you'd believe what he said and give him a chance.
kaiser would be lying if he said he didn't regret making up with you earlier. he'd be lying if he said he didn't miss you. hell! every bit of fiber within him missed you! his lips on yours, oh gosh. he's going crazy. :c
a little while after what was supposed to be a sweet make out, he found himself aligning his tip to your slit. you had glossy eyes as you stared back up at him. he had you pinned onto the bed...
"are you sure?" he asked stroking your stomach, his hands then tracing your curves. "fuu-uck. you're perfect." he mumbled. you nodded in response.
as he buried his length into your warmth he swore he got sent to heaven. "sh-shit.. scheißescheißescheiße...! please you're made for me..." he continued, his lips once more pressed onto yours.
nah, at this point his cock was stretching your opening... it hurt. kaiser broke off the kiss as he groaned, "you take me so damn well.. i'm sorry for being so horrid to you."
you were practically crying, was it cause the sex was good? cause of kaiser? you didn't know! "m-hya.." you sobbed out so sweetly. it was kaiser's last straw.
your walls were sucking his member in man..! how could he not..? your noises could kill him oh gosh! one last thrust and his length was kissing your womb :c "i'm sorry meine liebe, i-" the emperor didn't even get to finish his sentence as he finished in you <3
he pulled out just to push his fingers back in. admiring your form and expression. maaaan, kaiser couldn't ask for a better girl >< dawn came, so did kaiser, 'cept he n you came multiple times :3 kaiser could make it better. all he needed was just one more day with ya.

park sunghoon disappeared from plain sight three years ago.
the boy you once loved so much, you would give him your heart and he was ready to give his. through shared kisses and intoxicating touches that sent a bolt of thunder through your bodies, you grew to love him even more.
and now you ache for him, your heart could never belong to anyone but park sunghoon. for the past three years, you have seen plenty of faces— even some so striking that you would consider dating them, if your heart hadn't belonged to sunghoon. you searched among the crowd of faces with an expecting heart to see his face popping up, but you had failed to see him anywhere.
so naturally, when one day your phone buzzes up at an unusual hour from an unknown number, claiming to be park sunghoon, you thought it was an awful prank. at first, you thought your eyes were deceiving you, a cruel trick of exhaustion or longing.
until something convinced you.
i don’t have much to explain, rose. i just want to see you.
he always called you by rose, your favourite flower.
i miss you, don’t know if you miss me.
god, you miss him more than anything.
you don’t want to invite him over, to let him see your vulnerable side. but you’re already so broken without him, and you take it as a sign from above— park sunghoon will finally be yours again.
the doorbell buzzes louder, and you realise you fell asleep on the couch while waiting for him, the news acting as a serenade in the background.
you hesitate. every rational part of your brain screams at you to leave it alone—to call someone, to ignore it, to do anything but walk towards the door. and yet, your feet move of their own accord, drawn forward by a force far stronger than fear.
the moment you unlock the door, a gust of cool night air rushes in, and there he stands.
park sunghoon.
exactly as you remember him. and yet—different.
he doesn’t say anything off the bat, and just stands there, staring at you with an emotion you can’t really figure out. your throat runs dry, before you step aside to let him in.
“—the city remains silent after the dreadful incident along the alley of the infamous club. the victims’ body is yet to be handed over to autopsy, but witnesses state, quote, it’s unbearable to stand such a sight—”
he sits down quietly before you on the couch. sunghoon watches you, the dim glow from the tv casting shadows across his face. his fingers tap idly against his knee, a familiar habit.
“so, you won’t ask me how i’ve been?” he finally says something, his dark locks of hair falling over his face just like old times. he looks exactly the same.
“should i?” you dig your nails into your palms, “would you even answer?”
his lips twitch, but he doesn’t deny it. Instead, he leans forward, elbows resting on his knees as his gaze locks onto yours. “i missed you.”
“you left without nothing,” you finally push out the words you’ve been wanting to say, “d-did you ever think about me?” your voice cracks.
sunghoon visibly gulps, a shadow of guilt taking over his features. he pushes himself closer to you, “you’re all that i think about, rose. you’re my love, i love you—”
“oh, save it,” you spit, your eyes welling up with frustrated tears. you just couldn’t take the man's crap talk after three whole years, “you don’t care about me, you never did! sunghoon you just disappeared and decided to come back after so long without a word—”
“i know, i can—”
“where were you, sunghoon?” your voice shakes. “i—i thought you were dead.”
his eyes flicker with something unreadable. “i can’t explain it. not yet.”
“not yet?” you let out a hollow laugh. “three years, and you can’t even give me a reason?”
he inches closer, closing the space between you. his fingers brush your cheek—chilling, familiar, and devastating. “i didn’t want to leave you,” he murmurs. “i had no choice.”
faces close, you search for something in his eyes,
your breath is unsteady, the weight of his gaze pressing down on you like a force you can’t fight. his words should anger you. they should send you into a fit of rage, make you shove him away, make you scream at him for leaving you in the dark all this time.
but his touch, his voice, his mere presence is enough to crumble all the walls you built over the past three years.
“you had no choice?” you repeat, your voice dripping with disbelief. “then tell me, sunghoon. what was so important that you had to disappear without a trace? that you had to make me think i lost you forever?”
he exhales sharply, jaw clenching. his fingers ghost down your arm, almost as if testing if you’ll flinch away. you don’t.
“rose, i—” he hesitates, his eyes flickering with something you can’t quite place. “i want to tell you. but not yet.”
not yet. again.
you let out a dry laugh, shaking your head. “you always do this. keep me in the dark. make me feel like a fool for loving you.” your voice cracks at the last part.
his eyes darken. “you were never a fool for loving me.”
there’s just silence between the two of you again, the slow squeaking of the ceiling fan and the buzz from the news playing on the tv trying to fill it in.
“—hold on, i’m getting a call, hope this is an important source. heeseung you better not stop recording, we’re going to make big news—”
“then-” you hiccup, his cold touch along your forearm making you lose your eyes, “then prove it?”
“anything for you,” sunghoon whispers before he pushes his lips on yours, making your back crash into the couch. his featherlight touches on your skin, and you hiccup yet again. sunghoon clearly giggles into the kiss, his hands brushing off the hair from your face as his lips stay on yours.
the kiss is slow at first, almost hesitant before it turns into a need. you let him push your back completely against the couch, be on top of you. his fingers tangle in your hair, his touch igniting something primal in you. when his lips part from yours, he trails kisses down your jaw, your throat, sending shivers through your body.
“rose, i missed you,” he murmurs against your skin. “you’re mine, aren’t you?”
you giggle at his words, head turning towards the low humming tv as sunghoon continues loving you.
“—now reporting live from the crime scene, yet another body with similar m.o has been discov—”
you try not to pay much attention to the news, and focus on your lover, who’s busy pressing kisses on your face. he murmurs sweet nothings into your ear, reminding you of old times.
his breath is warm against your skin, his lips parting as he hovers over the pulse point at your neck. your heartbeat pounds beneath his touch, and for a brief moment, you think he hesitates.
then— a sharp gasp leaves your lips as his teeth barely graze your skin.
something about it feels wrong.
too sharp. too precise.
a sudden flash from the television catches your attention.
“—newfound horror. the victims were found with two puncture wounds on their neck… eerily similar to cases seen in vampire folklore—”
your blood runs cold as realisation settles in, you slowly push sunghoon back by his muscular shoulders, just right enough to glimpse at his eyes.
he refuses to look directly at you, maybe because he already predicted your reaction to this, or maybe he is looking at you— you simply cannot register anything as your blood runs cold.
sunghoons eyes glow red in the dark, white and sharp fangs baring out. his neck and face looks paler than ever, as if he's painted white.
you just lay there, shaken in fear, unable to do anything on your own but whimper his name. he coos at you, leaning down towards your neck.
“don’t worry, y/n,” he whispers, kissing the crook of your neck once more, “i love you, you won’t end up like them.”
the channel roars.
“—the polices’ advice is to stay indoors as often as possible, and immediately file a report if you come across suspicious activities—”

Here are some headcanons of Damian Wayne deeply in love with a curly brown-haired girl who is completely dense for romance.
✧─── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
1. Damian Wayne and his unrequited (or just misunderstood?) love
- Damian is intense in everything, and love is no exception. His love for her is deep, serious, and with absolute devotion. He is not the type to be carried away by whims, but when he chooses someone, it is forever.
- From the first moment he met her, something about her intrigued him. Her curly hair that seemed to have a life of its own, her strong but at the same time absent-minded character, her way of seeing the world without giving importance to other people's glances.
- When he realized that he was in love, it was a hard blow. He did not want to accept that his heart was beating faster for her, that his thoughts revolved around their interactions, no matter how minimal they were.
✧─── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
2. She's Dense and He's Frustrated
- Damian tries to seduce her in his own way: protecting her in combat, making sure she eats well, silently walking her home, staring at her intently... but nothing works because she just doesn't notice.
- He invites her to train with him, hoping she'll notice that he only offers that level of closeness to people he cares about. She sees it as just another training session.
- When he gives her gifts—subtle but thoughtful things like a rare book or a weapon with her name engraved on it—she simply thanks him without suspecting the meaning.
- If another person tries to flirt with her and she doesn't notice, Damian nearly explodes in frustration. "How can you be so oblivious?" he thinks every time he sees her interact with someone without picking up on the romantic intent.
✧─── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
3. Damian Discovers Her Inexperience
- At some point, he realizes that he's never been in a relationship and has never experienced romance in any form. When he processes it, his arrogant side is flattered: I'll be her first in everything.
- This makes him even more possessive and protective. No one else has the right to teach him what love, desire or affection is.
- It also makes him more patient (albeit with effort). If she's never felt something like this, he can't expect her to understand it right away. So, he changes tactics: he starts getting closer, touching her subtly (a hand on her back, fixing a loose curl), looking at her in a way that even she starts to notice that something is wrong.
- But, inside, his mind is in chaos: How is it possible that someone so intelligent is so blind to this?
✧─── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
4. His First Kiss (Or How Damian Has to Take the Initiative)
- In a moment of frustration, when she still doesn't understand his intentions, Damian just does it. He kisses her.
- He does it with determination, with the purpose of making clear what he feels.
- As they pull away, he stares at her and, in his deep, serious tone, says, "Now tell me you don't understand."
- She's shocked. She'd never considered it because, well, she never thought someone like him would be interested in her like that.
- From there, she starts to see him in a different way. Her heart beats faster when he's around, his gazes feel more intense. And for the first time, she understands what Damian has been trying to tell her all along.
✧─── ・ 。゚★: *.✦ .* :★. ───✧
5. Damian As A Partner (Because He'll Obviously Win Her Heart)
- Once he's in a relationship with her, he's still intense, but there's a change: he's more patient, softer, but just as protective and jealous.
- He's the kind of partner who watches her like she's his entire universe, who remembers every detail about her, who makes sure she never has any doubts about what she means to him.
- And every time she, with her absent-minded nature, still fails to grasp something obvious, he just sighs and thinks, "How did I ever fall in love with someone so blind..."
- But in the end, he doesn't care. Because she's his, and he'll never let her go.

hiii may I request katsuki x reader where he has to go to a work trip overseas and reader stays home, where she finds out she’s pregnant (or it could be the other way around, we stan prohero reader) 🥹 ofc when he comes back she has the news prepared, please tooth rooting fluff 🫶🫶
Future Little Explosive
Katsuki Bakugo had been gone for just over a week on an overseas work trip, and it was already driving you insane. He called every night, making sure you were eating properly, locking up before bed, and not overworking yourself. He was as gruff as ever, muttering complaints about jet lag and how annoying his colleagues were, but you could hear the longing behind every word. He missed you. And there was something you hadn’t told him yet—something that made every call feel heavier with a secret.
You were pregnant.
The realization had hit you two days after he left, when your body felt off in a way that couldn’t be ignored. The nausea, the exhaustion, the unusual cravings—it all clicked together. A few tests later, and there it was: two solid pink lines staring right back at you. You had spent the following days in a mix of shock, excitement, and pure anticipation, thinking of how to tell Katsuki the life-changing news. You could already imagine his reaction—equal parts disbelief and sheer pride.
You had started picking at your meals more, wondering if you should change your diet already. You found yourself resting your hands over your stomach absentmindedly, marveling at the fact that a tiny life was growing inside you. The thought made you emotional at odd moments, and you cursed your hormones when you teared up over something as simple as dropping a spoon. More than anything, though, you wished Katsuki was home to experience this with you.
By the time he was due to return home, you had everything planned. You wanted it to be perfect—something that would catch him off guard in the best way possible. You decorated the living room subtly, nothing too flashy because you knew your husband would immediately be suspicious if he walked into something too extravagant. Instead, you placed a small, neatly wrapped box on the kitchen counter with a onesie inside that read: Future Little Explosive.
When the front door finally swung open, you practically ran to him, throwing your arms around his neck as he grunted in surprise, his strong arms instantly securing you against him. He smelled like the airport and faintly of smoke, but to you, it was the most comforting scent in the world.
“Missed me that much, huh?” His voice was low, teasing, but there was a tenderness behind it that only you ever got to hear.
“You have no idea,” you murmured, breathing in his scent. It had been too long without him.
He kissed your forehead before stepping back, scanning you up and down with narrowed eyes. “You look different.”
Your heart jumped, but you played it cool. “Long week.”
As he dropped his bags by the door and toed off his boots, you grabbed his hand, tugging him toward the kitchen. “C’mere, I got you something.”
He raised an eyebrow but followed without protest, his sharp crimson eyes flicking to the small box on the counter. “What’s this?”
“Open it and see.”
With a skeptical huff, he tugged at the ribbon and lifted the lid. His brows furrowed at first as he pulled out the tiny onesie, turning it over in his hands. The room was silent for a moment, and you watched as realization dawned on his face.
His grip on the fabric tightened slightly, eyes flicking up to meet yours, wide and searching. “Wait… are you serious?”
You nodded, tears already pricking at your eyes. “Yeah, Katsuki. We’re having a baby.”
For a second, he just stared, his jaw clenching like he was trying to keep his emotions in check. His fingers trembled slightly around the fabric, his breath shaky. And then, with no warning, he surged forward, crashing his lips against yours in a kiss that was all passion, relief, and overwhelming love.
“Holy shit,” he breathed against your lips, pulling back just enough to rest his forehead against yours. “You’re serious?”
You let out a watery laugh, nodding. “Dead serious.”
A rare, unguarded smile broke across his face, something so raw and full of emotion that it made your heart swell. His hands, which had always been rough and calloused from years of hero work, were gentle as they moved to rest on your stomach. His touch was hesitant at first, like he couldn’t believe it was real. Then, he pressed his palm fully against you, his warmth seeping through your clothes.
“We’re gonna have a little brat running around, huh?” His voice was softer now, almost in awe.
You placed your hands over his. “Yeah, we are.”
He exhaled sharply, then let out a low chuckle, shaking his head in disbelief. “Shit, I’m gonna be a dad.”
“Yeah, you are.”
For once, he seemed lost for words. His usual cocky attitude had melted away into something far more vulnerable, and it made you love him even more. He pulled you in again, holding you like he never wanted to let go. And in that moment, you knew—this was the beginning of something incredible.

Pt. 1
You couldn't help but anxiously fiddle with the hem of your dress as you sat beside Simon, one of his hands resting on your thigh, while the other gripped the steering wheel. "It's going to be fine, sweetheart. They're going to love you." Unsure, you glanced up at him, a frown on your pretty face. "Are you sure? Maybe they'll just see me as an inconvenience that will keep you from them in the future. Or maybe they'll-" Simon interrupted you as he tightly squeezed the fat of your thigh, a possessive growl leaving his throat. "They'd never. Trust me." With a sigh, you nodded. And he was right.
From the moment you two walked into the same dingy pub where you first met, the others treated you as if they'd known you for years, and you were a part of the friend group. The entire evening, you laughed and drank, Simon's hand constantly on you. At least until he left to go take a piss and smoke a cigarette.
The moment you were alone with the three men, the Scottish one leaned across the table, a gigantic grin on his face. "So? How did ya two meet?" The older one quickly pulled the Scottish one back, a scowl on his face, as he regarded his team member, but there was a certain hint of curiosity sparkling in his eyes.
You chuckled, thinking back to the day.
Excitement cursed through you as you stepped out of the cab, your phone in your hand as you watched your best friend type. But the moment she sent her message, the excitement dissipated. "I'm so sorry, but I can't make it! I'll make it up to you though!"
You rolled your eyes, glancing at the sign of the pub you were standing in front of. She couldn't have let you know before you made your way there, could she? Inside you, two demons started to fight. One yelling at you to go back home and gulp down an entire ice cream pint. The other one calmly stating that you were already here and should at least get a little bit wasted. Before you knew it, the calm demon had won and you walked into the pub, quickly finding a place at the bar. But you noticed him immediately. Sitting in a dark corner, his face almost completely hidden. And very obviously staring at you. It didn't matter when during the evening you turned around, his eyes were always on you. At first, it creeped you out, but before long, you felt warmth spread through you. You almost felt protected, his obvious attention keeping all the usual creepers at bay. So, you decided you at least wanted his number.
But when you paid for your tab, hoping to be able to join him at his table, you watched as he stood up and walked outside. As quickly as you could, without tripping over the air, you rushed after him, finding him outside, leaning against a wall. After taking a deep breath, you started to walk over to him, but he immediately pushed off the wall and started to walk away. Were you really this repulsing?
Before doubts could start to fill you, you called out to him. "Uhm, I'm sorry, Sir?" He stopped and slowly turned around to face you. With a small and hopeful smile, you crossed the distance. The closer you got to him, the more you could really see him. While the lower half of his face was hidden behind a black surgical mask, you could see the top of his cheeks. And they were red, practically glowing with heat. Adorable.
"I'm sorry, I hope this isn't too direct, but I wanted to ask if I could have your number? You're really handsome and seem like a nice man. Of course, it's okay if not, I don't want to pressure you or anything. I-" You stopped, your eyes wide as you watched his entire body trembling slightly. Like a robot, he slowly stretched out his hand to you. Your eyes focused on it and you watched for a few beats as the trembling only got worse. Then, you quickly pulled out your phone and handed it to him.
Once again moving like a robot, the man slowly plugged in his number, his hands trembling bad enough, that you thought he would drop your phone at some point. When he handed your phone back, you looked down and saw that he had also put in his name. But it was a mix of upper and lower cases, making you chuckle. You grinned up at him and pocketed your phone. “Thank you…well…have a good night.”
You turned around and walked a couple of steps before his shaking hand on your elbow stopped you. “U-Uh…uhm…eat? Uh now?” His voice was shaking even more than his hands and he kept stumbling over his words, but when he got the question out, you couldn’t help but nod with a smile.
“And yeah, that’s it.” The Scottish and the pretty one immediately burst into laughter, slapping their thighs and each other, while the older one just smirked, slowly shaking his head. You looked at them, confused. “What…?”
“What did I miss?” Simon slid into his chair beside you, his arms loosely wrapped around your shoulders. His friends immediately started to tease him, recounting points from what you had just told them. Immediately, the blush was back on his face, and you couldn’t help but chuckle along. At least until his hand came to rest on your thigh, and squeezed tightly. Oh, you were in for a night.
A/N: Here we go! Part two and the real story all wrapped up in one! Hope you like it! Edit: Re-upload because I forgot to add tags... :)

You Don’t Own Me
P1 P2 P3 P4 P5 P6 P7
Chris Sturniolo lives by his own rules, refusing to be controlled. Some see him as a rebel, a troublemaker—but is that the full truth? Meanwhile, Y/N is focused on making the most of her last year of high school, determined to have a normal teenage experience. But when their worlds collide, they realize they may have more in common than they ever expected.
WARNINGS: Mentions of kissing, mentions of family death, bra touching, talk of needing to piss ?
A/N: This chapter is LONG. Lmk if we like it being this long or if I should break it up next time sorry! Proofread by @darksturnz (ty lovely girl!)
With love and big tits, Rose
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
P7: Bras & Piss
wc: 2700+
Not even a single insult. Chris barely even lingered in the main room with Matt and me—like he couldn’t even fathom breathing the same air as me.
It hurt. The dull ache in my chest seems to worsen everytime he ignores me. Even though it’s only been a couple of days, it still just felt different, and not in a good way.
Luckily, Chris hadn’t caught me loitering in Matt’s room to help him out with his date with Mia. Although, part of me wish he had. Maybe then he’d at least ask or say something mean. And I just wanted him to say something—anything.
“Pleaseeee?” Matt begs, his hands clasped as if he’s praying, the same plea falling from his lips yet again.
Ever since I helped him with his outfit, he hasn’t stopped pushing one idea—he wants to make it a double-date. That way, it wouldn’t have to be so awkward at the beginning.
But who the fuck was I gonna take on a double-date? The only men I’ve talked to recently are Chris, Jimmy, and Shawn.
Chris is just not an option. Even though Jimmy’s sweet, that would be weird as fuck. And Shawn…well, I’m still mad. But I have to pick. And I can’t let Matt down—not when I see how much effort he’s putting into this girl. If I couldn’t have a perfect love story, at least I could watch it.
Shawn.
I stare at his contact on my screen with distaste, my gaze flickering from my phone back to Matt sitting across the table from me.
“But you and her will have so much fun—”
“Please! I don’t know what I’m doing and I just…I’d feel a lot better if I know you’re there,” he says, his face contorted as if he’s in pain.
Sighing, I look down at my screen with hesitation. My fingers brush against the key, my cheek pulsing with a sharp sting as I feel my teeth gnaw into the muscle.
I may hate Shawn right now, but I don’t hate Matt. Matt felt like the first real friend I had made in a while, maybe even ever. And this would help our friendship grow, maybe I’d even like Mia as a friend too.
Ugh.
| To Shawn: Hey, do you wanna go on a double date with me this Friday? |
I send the message before I can rethink the wording. My nose scrunches as I see the read receipt pop up immediately, three dots moving on the screen as I watch Shawn type back.
| From Shawn: Fuck yeah ;) |
Ew. How did I ever think this man was crush-material? Before that dumb party, it was like some sort of unspoken thing, we were always flirting, always touching more than just friends typically would. But now even the thought of his dumb brain coming anywhere close to me made everything in my stomach churn uncomfortably.
“Thank you, you’re the fuckin’ best!” Matt cheers, walking over to me, pulling my head in his hand before planting a platonic kiss on my head. His arms shoot up in the air. He does a stupid little victory dance, nodding his head to an imaginary beat.
“What the fuck.” I look over, seeing Chris staring at his brother incredulously, scratching his head before nodding his face from side to side, turning around and walking back down the hallway.
It’s the first time I’ve heard his voice in days. For some reason, it makes everything inside of me feel a little bit lighter, like it’s some sort of relief.
Maybe he’s easing up.
I shake the thought off as Matt sits back down, blabbing on about anything and everything.
It’s nice to have a friend.
___
Matt was helping return the favor. It felt weird to bring a boy in the house, my mother was definitely judging. But I needed help. And I liked Matt’s style the first day we talked, plus—who the fuck else was I gonna ask?
“What do you want to wear?” he asks, flipping through the clothes in my closet while peeking his head over his shoulder to look at me sitting on the bed.
I shrug. “Matt, I don’t know. Maybe something comfy, but like…I don’t know,” I whine, huffing as I roll my eyes. Why did this have to be so difficult? Shawn was probably gonna wear what he always wore—black jeans and a long, loose T-shirt, the ones that always had a sports number on the back.
“What about this?” Matt pulls out a skirt.
I immediately shake my head. “Hell no. It’s too windy, I’m not dealing with that.”
He points, nodding as he shoves the article of clothing back into place before shuffling through more options.
“Hey, um, what even happened that night? You know…with Chris,” he mutters, his voice quieter than before.
My face scrunches as I think back on the memory. “I don’t even know. He showed up at window at like, 2 in the morning—”
“How did he know it was your window?” Matt asks, cocking his head to the side as he turns to look at me.
I shake my head quickly. “We made awkward eye contact when he was taking a walk—but that’s not the point. He came here, bribed me to go on a walk—”
“How did he bribe you?” Matt quips. He holds his hands up defensively as I glare at him.
“Trevour, duh.” I state, the obvious information dripping sarcastically as I let out a dramatic sigh, “Then, we went for a walk. It was… nice?” My voice rises almost as if I’m asking a question. Matt nods slowly, his scrunched face unrelenting as I continue to explain, “He gave me an apology. I mean, he didn’t say sorry, but like—well—you know what, I don’t fucking know, okay? All I know is that we came back here but my window had slipped shut. He was gonna sleep on the floor, but he just couldn’t and we were too tired to argue and—”
“And then you cuddled like a married couple?” he cuts in.
I click my tongue against the roof of my mouth, squinting at him as I cross my leg over the other, resting my hands on my knee. “Matthew, shut the fuck up. I’m going on this date for you—I’d rather lick a toilet seat, fuck a splintered broom, and—”
Matt cuts me off, walking over and shoving clothes into my lap. “What about these?” he asks.
Looking down towards the fabrics, I purse my lips to the side. Baggy cargos, a tight fitted black long sleeve shirt with lace details, and a maroon bra—
BRA?
“WHY THE FUCK—”
“WAIT SORRY!” he panics, grabbing the bra and throwing it aggressively back into the closet, “I just didn’t wanna hear about you fucking a splintered mop or whatever the fuck so I panicked and I—-I didn’t mean to, I swear!” he shouts, his eyes bulging as he covers his mouth with one of his hands.
My face relaxes and I swallow thickly. He didn’t mean to, it’s fine. He saw my fucking bra, but it’s fine.
“You’re lucky we’re friends and I like your dad,” I whisper lowly, my eyes twitching as I inhale a shaky breath, “-or I would slap your man tits so fucking hard they melted off your scrawny fucking chest, you stupid little—”
“Oh my god, wait! This is like—just another level of friendship for us then! Think of it that way,” he says, slapping my arm lightly.
Is this bitch for real?
“I’m gonna go change in the bathroom,” I announce, stalking off towards the bedroom door. I turn around and point my finger directly at his chest, watching as he gulps. “Don’t touch a thing,” I warn.
Matt nods quickly, clasping his hands together as he stands deathly still.
At least he’ll be the only one touching my bra tonight.
___
It wasn’t awful.
Burst of colors and history are painted throughout canvases hung on the colossal walls. Matt and Mia had already ventured off. In fact, it didn’t really seem awkward at all.
It made me smile watching their brief interaction. Matt was being an absolute fool, scratching the back of his neck like a damn dog. Mia, however, was shy, but excited. Apparently she really liked all of this. She loved it even more when she realized Matt would listen to her rant about each masterpiece for hours on end.
Shawn was fine. It wasn’t anything special, but it wasn’t uncomfortable by any means. I think he could sense my stiffness, being able to understand that whatever we had going on had taken a big step back.
“How’ve you been? Tessa said you guys haven’t hung out for a while,” he points, his hand swinging obnoxiously between our bodies. I think he was trying to hold my hand without directly asking. And it was fucking annoying.
I rub my lips together as I try to keep my gaze pointed ahead. “Yeah, I guess I just haven’t had much time with the project and all,” I answer.
That’s a lie. I had time. Honestly, I've been kind of bored recently, but he didn’t need to know that.
“Shame, we miss you, ya know?” he teases, bumping his shoulder into mine.
They miss me?
My body slumps a little more with each step. I see Matt and Mia from the corner of my eye, a smile crawling on my face as I see him utterly infatuated with her presence. Maybe that could be me someday, having someone who wanted to understand the most pointless things about me.
“Heyyyy,” he waves his hand in front of my face, pulling my attention back to him as I feel my cheeks flush. Damn. I’m like a fucking iPad kid when it came to everything. “If they're too distracting, we can venture off further…you know, just us,” he suggests, his brows lifting on his face as he licks over his lips.
His face is even pissing me off. Why is he looking at me like that?
“Shawn, I’m still upset with you. You drove drunk,”
“I only had a few drinks, you’re being fuckin’ dramatic,” he interupts, huffing as he rolls his eyes.
Only a ‘few drinks’ could do a lot of damage.
I wonder what Chris was like before he lost his mom and his brother. Maybe it was someone like Shawn. Someone so incapable of taking any sort of accountability, someone so… careless.
Silence sinks into the air. A brush of heavy tension weighs downward as I try to create just the slightest bit more of distance between us.
“Hey, hey,” he coos, quickly tugging my hand into his before cradling it with his other. I look up at him as he stares down at me, my face twisting as I gaze around us. “I’m sorry, okay? It’s dumb, I know. I just… I guess I just wanted to have fun and make sure you had fun too, alright? That’s all it was, it won’t happen again. Swear,” he says, pulling our hands apart and interlocking our pinkies.
My eyes squint harder at him before I let out a deep sigh, slowly nodding before retracting my hand back to my own body. At least he’s taking accountability.
“We’re gonna go get ice cream, you guys wanna come with?” Matt asks, stalking towards us with a stupid smile on his face. My eyes fall down, seeing his hand pulling Mia’s lightly, his thumb swiveling against the back of her palm. Oh, he’s so fucking adorable with her.
“Nah, go ahead. I’ll drive her back, go have fun,” Shawn answers before even sparring me a singular look.
Bitch. He’s not even my boyfriend and he’s trying to speak on my behalf. Yeah, this isn’t gonna work.
“Are you sure…?” Matt’s eyes trail to mine.
I purse my lips before giving an affirmative nod. They’ll have more fun alone. “Yeah, go ahead. Don’t have too much fun,” I joke, offering a small wave as they walk down the marble flooring, disappearing past a corner.
The sound of Shawn’s chuckle makes my face furrow, my lips curling into a tight line as I raise my brow at him. “What’s so funny?” I ask
Shrawn shrugs. “Just couldn’t wait to get me alone, could ya?” he teases, playfully wiggling his brows and sparing me a wink.
I chose this over ice cream?
___
That date hadn’t ended awful, but definitely not good, either. I was still waiting for Matt to finish up. It had been hours at this point, but I couldn’t find it in myself to be anything but happy for him.
I didn’t know where else to go. I felt really drained, I just wanted someone to talk to. This was the only thing I could think of. And even though it seemed a bit odd at first, it felt normal, as if this was something that has happened at least twenty times before.
“And then what happened after Matt and Mia left?” Jimmy asks, petting Trevor nuzzled up in his lap as he gives me his full, undivided attention.
He was more than happy when I showed up knocking at the door. I was just glad it wasn’t Chris who answered. And speaking of, I still didn’t know where he was. Probably in his room or something.
“Well…” I look up to the ceiling, retracing the memory as I explain, “It wasn’t bad, I guess? We used to, I don’t know—flirt? But he’s just so…I don’t know how to explain it,” I groan, sinking further into the couch.
Jimmy laughs. “Then what went wrong today? He seems sweet enough, why were you even mad at him?” he asks.
My eyes scrunch close. I wasn’t gonna tell him that detail. I had already told him too much, definitely more than I should have.
“I think he was gonna kiss me and I…I don’t know. I just kinda brushed it off and asked him to drive me home and well… here we are,” I sing, covering my face with my hands.
The old man looks down at Trevor as he rubs the dog’s ears. “Maybe you just gotta get out of your head and give him another chance, kid. Whatever he did, just put it aside and try things out. I mean, thank god for my wife giving me chances. If not, she would’ve left me in the dust when I accidentally got paint in her damn hair,” he breathes out gruffly, laughing dryly at the reminiscent memory.
A smile climbs on my face as I listen to his tone get softer. The slight joke holds meaning, a lot of meaning. No wonder Matt was so sweet, he knew how to treat a woman. Chris on the other hand? Maybe he did at some point. Definitely not now though.
“Thanks, Jimmy–”
“What did I say!” he exclaims, standing up and ruffling my hair, “Call me J-Dawg!”
I shake my head with a vicious laugh. “I’m not calling you that.”
The man shrugs before stalking off towards the garage. “Yeah, yeah, whatever. I’m gonna go fix this damn light switch in the garage, keep Trevor company until Matt gets home, alright?”
I don’t have time to offer a response as I hear the heavy door click shut. My eyes drift over to the snoozing dog, my heart melting into a puddle as I watch his closed eyes flicker with a vivid dream.
He could be dreaming of going on a walk—a walk with her, a woman I’ve never met—a woman I’d never get the chance to meet.
Maybe Chris dreamed of her too. Maybe that was why he didn’t typically sleep well.
“I need to pee, hold on, Trev.” I announce to the dog, slightly shaking my head at myself. Not only is he a dog, but he’s dead asleep. Did it really matter if I let him know?
As I start to get up from the couch, I freeze hearing his voice.
“Why’re you in my house? And why are you telling my dog you need to fuckin’ piss?”
Chris.

I absolutely love your work! Could I request something where the reader is not the most active person, like... She doesn't like running, she's not fit, she's terrible at fighting. She maybe does research, but that's all. But she's good at picking clothes, she always makes sure Sam and Dean look professional/appropriate to what they'll be doing. And she makes absolutely AMAZING apple pie, and she cooks, and all - just helps "passively", not "actively". So one day she decides that "alright, that's enough, I'm only causing trouble" and leaves - and at first the boys don't care, since she "wasn't too useful" - but after like a week or two they notice that they miss the apple pie, they miss someone who could help them with looking better, especially Sam, who realizes how deep in love with her he is? And maybe she comes back?
I'm sorry if it's too specific, or too much details, or anything😅😅

The motel room is quiet when you slip out.
Your bag is packed, everything neat and folded because, well—of course it is. You aren’t a mess. You don’t do things hastily or without thinking. But you’ve thought about this—leaving—long and hard, and the conclusion is always the same.
You aren’t useful.
Sure, you help. You make sure Dean’s FBI suit isn’t wrinkled and that Sam has something other than plaid to wear when interviewing victims. You keep the bunker stocked, and you make damn good apple pie.
But you can’t run. You can’t fight. You can barely hold a gun without it shaking in your hands.
And you’re tired of feeling like dead weight.
So you leave.
No note, no big speech—just a quiet exit in the middle of the night, the way you’re sure they’ll forget you.
Because you? You’re replaceable.
Right?
At first, the boys don’t notice.
They wake up, see that your things are gone, and shrug it off. Maybe you got tired of the life. Maybe you found something better.
They don’t talk about it.
They just move on.
Then things start feeling off.
Not all at once—just little things.
Like how Dean’s shirts are suddenly wrinkled as hell, and his ties are never quite right. Or how Sam keeps losing his laptop charger because you’re not there to remind him to bring it.
And the food? Absolute garbage.
Dean burns everything. Sam tries to cook and nearly poisons them both. They eat diner food three times a day, and after two weeks, Dean stares blankly at the menu and mutters, “God, I miss pie.”
Sam’s fork pauses mid-air.
It’s the first time either of them has said it out loud.
Dean catches himself, scowls, and shoves a bite of pancakes into his mouth. But the damage is done.
They do miss you.
The bunker feels wrong without you.
Your room is empty, hollow in a way Sam can’t stand. He stops by more often than he wants to admit, staring at the bed like it might hold answers, like it might tell him why you left without a word.
At first, he assumed it didn’t matter. But now—now it’s everywhere.
It’s in the little things.
Like how there’s no warm light from the kitchen in the morning, no soft hum of music while you bake. No one teasing Dean about his terrible diet or fixing Sam’s collar before an interview.
No one who makes them feel like they have a home.
It takes Sam longer than he’d like to admit to realize what it means.
He doesn’t just miss you.
He loves you.
And he needs you back.
Finding you takes time.
Sam spends hours searching, fingers flying over the keyboard until—finally—he gets a hit.
Dean doesn’t argue when Sam says, “Let’s go.”
Because he misses you too.
You stare at them when they show up at your new apartment.
“...What are you doing here?”
Sam takes a slow breath. “We need to talk.”
You cross your arms, trying to hold your ground. “There’s nothing to talk about.”
Dean scoffs. “Bullshit.”
Sam shoots him a look, then turns back to you, softer. “We didn’t realize how much we needed you,” he admits. “Not just for the small stuff—for everything.”
You blink, and Sam steps closer, voice steady.
“You make us better. You make us feel like we’re more than just hunters. More than just the job.”
You swallow hard. “I—I thought I was just in the way.”
Sam shakes his head. “You were never in the way.”
Dean chimes in. “Look, we’re idiots, okay? We should’ve said something when you left.” He sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. “But the truth is—we suck without you.”
Your throat tightens.
Then Sam says, quietly—earnestly,
“I love you.”
Your breath catches.
Dean smirks. “Took him long enough to admit it.”
Sam rolls his eyes but doesn’t look away from you. His hand finds yours, warm and solid.
“So,” he says. “Come home?”
You hesitate—only for a second.
Then you nod.
And just like that, everything is right again.

The Deployment
Jake "Hangman" Seresin x reader
A/n: This is sort of a continuation to His Girls but can be read alone
Summary: girl dad Jake gets deployed - the family drop him off at the airport
You wake the kids up at the crack of dawn to take Jake to the airport.
Ivy is happily singing along to the god-awful kids radio playing throughout the car and Abbie looks crestfallen - silently staring out of the car window.
It's hard to feel the full weight of Jake's deployment with the current musical soundtrack. You smirk as baby shark comes on and sing along with Ivy at the top of your lungs; hoping that it'll irritate Abbie and Jake enough to snap them out of their respective silences.
Abs is old enough now to realise that her dad's job is dangerous. She won't tell either of you but she hasn't relaxed since the day she learned that. Every time she says goodbye to him she's internally worrying that's the last time they'll ever speak.
Jake watches your eldest nervously fidget from the reflection in the side mirror. He feels sick at the thought of having to go today. He took the instructor post so he wouldn't have to be away from you guys again, but he didn't think about leaving for special assignments. This is a painful reminder of the lack of control he has in his job.
When you're out of the car you all stick together for as long as physically possible before you have to separate.
Jake bends down and hugs Ivy first. He whispers something in her ear that makes her burst into a fit of giggles.
He turns his attention to Abbie next who looks cool as a cucumber. The only thing giving away the fact that she's not okay with this is the fact that she's still twitching her foot.
You watch as they hug each other tightly and Jake kisses her head as a goodbye.
"Please don't go." Abbie whispers loud enough for you both to hear. You watch as tears fill her eyes wishing you could make everything go back to normal for her.
Jake gives you a pained look, eyes glassy with emotion as he's stopped speechless for the first time in a long time.
"Abs he has to go baby." You say to her wiping her face to stop the tears that have started falling.
"He'll be back before you even know he's really gone." you promise her - it's a lie considering neither of you know how long this deployment will be.
Jake hugs you last. "I can't go if Abs keeps crying like that." He whispers shakily - not wanting to leave you guys.
"She loves you. I'll calm her down in the car." you assure him rubbing his cheek with the pad of your thumb .
He squeezes you tightly and you suck in a breath knowing this is the last time you'll see him indefinitely.
"I love you." he says before giving you a barely there small peck on the lips. God forbid Abbie screams 'no PDA' through an airport if he was to do anything more than that.
"I love you too." You say into his shoulder as he pulls you into another quick hug.
"Call me the second you can." you instruct him, not letting go of his hand before he agrees.
He nods then squeezes your hand as a silent goodbye before giving the family another once over and stepping backwards.
"Take care of each other while I'm gone." He says voice cracking as he looks at Abbie - silently telling her to quit with the teenage angst.

Candy Crush - Wooyoung x f!reader

Summary: Sure, all those lollipops Wooyoung had stolen from you tasted sweet, but would you taste even sweeter? Genre: smut (MDNI) Pairings: bully!sub!Wooyoung x f!reader Tags/Warnings: SMUT, sub!wooyoung, mean dom!reader, cunnilingus, penetration, unprotected sex, slight jealousy, wooyoung is mean at the start, recording with a camera, breeding kink (?), name calling, wooyoung is kinda in love with the reader A/N: This turned out longer than I wanted it to be :,) I hope this will tickle someone's fancy! Word count: 3 560 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lollipops. They were Wooyoung’s favorite to steal. Almost sickeningly sweet and easy for tongue; he wondered if your lips would taste the same.
When he had been 10 years old, he hadn’t thought much about it. He had just wanted to elicit reactions out of you; it entertained him how your face turned the shade of the strawberry lollipop he had just stolen from you. Your tears had always been enjoyable to him, but a few years ago they had started to excite him in a different way.
A part of him felt guilty about bullying you; stealing candy had turned to humiliating you in the school corridors and spreading rumors about you being a whore – it was his way to make sure other people would stay away from you, leaving him as the only person who could ever love you.
The hallway wasn’t devoid of people, but you were alone once again. Not even fuckboys wanted to get acquainted with you – pretty insulting, huh?
“At this point, you must be doing this on purpose,” Wooyoung chuckled as his steps led to you. He really acted like he owned the school – and you.
An angry frown settled on your face as you noticed him staring at your candy bag. Despite Wooyoung always stealing your treats, you couldn’t stop the bad habit of bringing them to school. Maybe your subconscious mind did it on purpose, wanting a reason to talk to him.
“These candies are not for you,” you huffed.
“Then who are they for? You shouldn’t eat them by yourself,” Wooyoung grinned as he saw you tighten your grip on the bag, “I still remember how you threw up on recess when we were 11 years old.”
“They’re for a friend.”
Wooyoung clenched his white teeth together. It couldn’t be possible for you to have a friend, after he had lied to the whole school about your supposedly wild sex life. However, he had to force his anger down.
“Are you going to bribe her into being your friend with candy?” Wooyoung’s smirk was infuriating. A brow he had raised arrogantly was not an unusual sight; he loved to make you doubt yourself.
“It’s a ‘him’. And I have not bribed him with candy, sex, or anything,” you said.
Jealousy flashed through Wooyoung’s chest; he had thought he had isolated you properly, but of course, there had to be someone who tried to whisk you away.
“You’re definitely not going to bribe him with sex.”
“Are you jealous?” you couldn’t resist teasing him.
“Are you delusional? I meant you’re not able to bribe anyone with sex when you look like that,” Wooyoung scoffed.
You had grown used to his cruel comments years ago already, but the sting was still there. Not wanting to see his triumphant grin, you looked away.
Watching the tears prickle your eyes, Wooyoung couldn’t help the pang of guilt shooting through him. Yes, he loved how easily he could force your emotions on the surface; you looked so beautiful with your puffy eyes, but when was the last time you had smiled at him? Probably not even once after the day he first stole your lollipop in elementary school.
“Good job, asshat. Are you proud of yourself now?”
You and Wooyoung turned to the sound of someone speaking and walking towards you. To your relief and Wooyoung’s annoyance, a man named San approached the two of you. Despite being fairly young, he was big and buff – a perfect friend to protect you from Wooyoung.
“San. So, you are Y/N’s new friend, huh?” Wooyoung raised his brows in disbelief.
The taller man didn’t even spare a glance at Wooyoung. His hands were busy wiping your tears and eyes shining a gentle light. Wooyoung’s blood was boiling as he watched how you took in all of San’s soothing touches and calming, quiet words.
“You do know she’s a slut, right? Or are you her friend because of that?”
San couldn’t have cared less about what Wooyoung had to say about you. He shot a glare at Wooyoung before wrapping a strong, comforting arm around your shoulder.
Hands clenched into fists, Wooyoung watched the two of you walk away. In his imagination, he was ripping San into shreds. San who was now sucking on a lollipop you just offered him willingly. San who you hadn’t known for long but liked more than you liked Wooyoung.
Before San could get his chance to sweep you off your feet, Wooyoung had to make his move. Instead of sucking on stolen lollipops he would switch to sucking on your clit. And he’d do it with a smile on his face.
After school, Wooyoung saw his chance and took it. Given that he had spread rumors about you, it was easy to catch you walking alone when the school grounds were finally devoid of students. No-one wanted to get associated with you – no-one except for San apparently.
Wooyoung found you at the lockers. There didn’t seem to be any people nearby, and he knew that he would have to act before San did. Besides, he had grown frustrated at jerking off every night; the mere thought of you forced his hand to wander to his growing erection. Ragged breaths and whispers of your name would slip past his lips as he stroked his length up and down. It never took long for him to come all over his stomach.
“Y/N, I need to talk to you.”
You recognized Wooyoung by just his voice; how could you not, when you had had to listen to his mocking laugh and annoying remarks for years already? You didn’t care to turn around to face him.
“Look at me,” he demanded.
Despite his usual domineering attitude, he couldn’t help but admit to himself reluctantly: it was hot how you ignored him. You weren’t focusing on him, and it made him embarrassed. It was unusual of you to act like that.
“So, you’re getting cocky now that you finally have a friend? Are you going to whore yourself out to him too?”
When he saw you slam the locker door close, he had thought you’d finally acknowledge him; instead, he watched your hips sway as you walked away from without even sparing a glance at him. Wooyoung felt his cock twitch, waking up at the way you had ignored him completely. He didn’t know whether to feel livid or lustful. All he knew was that he needed you now in any way possible.
You heard footsteps following behind, obviously belonging to Wooyoung. Though him grabbing your wrist was not what you had expected. Although he tried to seem in control, his hand was shaking from desire and anticipation as he shoved you inside an empty classroom.
You were close to falling on the floor as you stumbled from the force of Wooyoung’s push. The slam of the door and looming presence behind you indicated he had trapped the both of you inside.
“Wooyoung, what the fuck?” you snapped at him.
His response was unexpected yet somehow predicted; desperate to feel you, he pulled you into a kiss, his grip tight on your waist but gently holding your head.
When you started kissing him back almost immediately, he felt like his heart would burst from unexplainable, intense emotions. He was drunken on the feeling of touching you, knowing that you wanted him back. Maybe not as much as he wanted you, but it was practically impossible after all to match the extent of the desire he had for you.
Your lips on his was all that he thought he had hoped for but now he was growing hungry for more. It wasn’t enough. The kiss had been passionate from the start, but it turned greedy and almost desperate in Wooyoung’s case. When you slipped your tongue in, exploring his mouth skillfully, a whimper he had tried to hold back escaped past his lips.
At the sound, you pulled away, leaving Wooyoung whining.
“I didn’t know you were this desperate for me,” you whispered.
A shiver ran up his spine. He could feel his control slipping away in a way he had thought impossible.
“O-Only for you.”
“So, what did you want to talk about?” your finger tracing his sharp jawline.
Wooyoung’s mind was blank, fuzzy from your heavenly touch. It didn’t even matter anymore what he had wanted to talk about earlier; all he wanted now was your puffy, pink clit against his lips and your hands tugging at his black hair until his scalp hurt.
“You can’t remember? That’s actually pathetic,” you cooed mockingly, “Just kissing me got you rock hard.”
Wooyoung glanced down at his pants which had an obvious tent hiding his cock. It even twitched at your degrading words, and he was happy you couldn’t see that through the fabric. He had never expected to find the way you spoke to him arousing. Despite that, he had gotten harder than ever in a record-breaking speed.
“Need you. N-Need to be inside you,” Wooyoung whined, cursing at himself in his mind for sounding so pitiful. No-one else had ever affected him like that, made him submit by just a few words.
“You have to earn it.”
“How? Please, Y/N...”
As you walked to the teacher’s desk, Wooyoung followed you quickly. He was ready to do anything just to get to stuff you full, to feel your warm pussy squeeze and milk his cock dry.
“Eat me out,” you commanded.
Wooyoung had been waiting for this moment for too many years of his life. Your lips, which were indeed sweeter than all the lollipops, had finally given him the permission he thought he’d never receive.
You watched his biceps flex as he lifted you up on the desk. Wooyoung pushed you to lie down, the gentleness in his moves contrasting the roughness of his earlier words and actions which had completely disappeared now.
His trembling hands reached to take off your skirt, but your firm voice was enough to stop him in his tracks.
“Wait.”
You took out your phone from the pocket of your hoodie. Wooyoung’s expression turned confused as the phone camera was suddenly directed at him – yet he couldn’t deny the excitement.
“I’m going to film you, and you’re going to do what I say.”
His eyes widened slightly at your words, kind of having had suspected it but never had expected it. Still, he didn’t even hesitate.
“What should I do?”
“Take off my panties. The skirt stays on.”
A pout formed on Wooyoung’s lips. It was all so new to see him this way, all whiny and needy; it was new to him as well. He had never thought he’d react this way to someone taking control over him.
“But I want to see you wholly!”
You let out a short chuckle. The way it felt more like degrading amusement than of sympathy made Wooyoung almost whimper. You had brought a whole new side out of him that just needed your attention and praises.
“Too bad. Now get to work.”
Your back was against the desk, and Wooyoung lifted your legs to rest on his shoulders as he crouched down, facing your core now. Only thing separating him from the meal he had dreamed of for years was your lace panties. They stuck to your pussy deliciously, and Wooyoung brushed his fingers against them. The damp fabric was a clear sign of your arousal, and he felt more blood pump to his painfully hard cock.
His thumb found your clit surprisingly quick and started rubbing circles on it. The small moans that escaped your mouth mesmerized him; they were even prettier than he had imagined. Only complaint Wooyoung had was that they were too quiet. He needed to make them louder so that he’d never forget them.
As he slid off your panties, you hissed at the feeling of the cool air hitting your sensitive clit. However, you didn’t have to suffer for long, because Wooyoung started warming it up. His hot tongue against your pussy, his face half-hidden under your miniskirt.
Wooyoung really succeeded in making your moans sound even sweeter. It felt like he was sending the tiniest electric shocks to your clit, every flick and lick of his tongue making your lower half burn with desire. For so many years he had been starving for your pussy, to have it in every way possible.
“So good...” you approved, sounding a little too desperate to your liking.
The way Wooyoung whimpered in response, how it sent vibrations on your core... It made you clench around nothing. You were already wet for him, ready for his cock which had occupied your fantasies for so many nights.
“Y/N, p-please, let me fuck you. Let me cum inside you,” Wooyoung’s high-pitched voice accompanied the wet sounds of him eating you out.
The faint ticking of a wall clock caught your attention as you were considering Wooyoung’s plead. It was just a minute to five o’clock; how fun would it be to challenge the desperate man between your legs a little?
“Make me cum in a minute and I’ll let you have me in any way you want.”
Wooyoung wasted no time; he grabbed your thighs in a bruising grip to keep you from shifting away every time you got close. Clearly, he could feel the way they trembled, because his moans started getting more frequent.
“W-Woo, you have 30 seconds left.”
He wrapped his lips around your puffy clit and sucked on it harshly, making both your heart and pussy flutter. The video footage you’d have of this wouldn’t win any Oscars; your shaky hands couldn’t keep the phone stable and straight. And maybe material this pornographic wouldn’t pass as an appropriate candidate anyways.
As your hips started bucking involuntarily, Wooyoung held onto you tighter, his tongue working even harder. It didn’t take long for him to get what he desired; your cry of pleasure echoed in the classroom. From now on, the sound would ring in Wooyoung’s ears every time he thought about you.
He didn’t stop, just continuing to lap at your juices until you were overstimulated and your core beginning to feel like on fire.
“Hey, stop it! You succeeded already,” you pushed Wooyoung away with your foot.
He let out a pathetic whimper. How could he go back to eating normal meals after tasting the heaven between your thighs?
“Look at the camera.”
Wooyoung raised his gaze from your core to the phone shoved up in his face. Your phone case looked so innocent, baby pink and cute, a stark contrast to how you actually were. For so long Wooyoung had lied to everyone about you being a whore, but now he was the one acting like a bitch in heat.
“Tell everyone how I taste like.”
“S-So good. So sweet,” Wooyoung licked your juices off his lips.
“Good boy. You’ll get your reward now,” you said, a mockery of being truly proud of him.
Wooyoung’s hands immediately started working on the zipper of his pants that felt almost suffocatingly tight around his lower area. You chuckled, watching how he had trouble getting his cock out due to how his hands were trembling in excitement.
Finally, it sprung out, standing tall. Prominent veins were adorning it – a pretty sight indeed. Maybe someday you’d grant him the permission to fuck your warm throat, but that was for later when he would have learned his place properly.
Wooyoung jerked his hand on his cock, the tip of it almost as red as his flushed cheeks. A glint of hunger in his hazy eyes focused on your face before they fell on your chest.
“Get inside my cunt already,” you demanded, “before I get bored.”
Wooyoung immediately snapped out of his thoughts, scared you’d take his rights to your pussy away, and guided his painfully hard cock to your core. He slid inside easily, and he could swear that he almost painted your walls white the moment your warmth enveloped him.
“Fuck, f-fuck...” he groaned out, fighting back the primal urge to ram into you like an animal.
Your pussy was soothing yet like a slap on the face for how intense it felt. Better than his hand, better than anyone he’s ever touched, better than he had ever imagined.
Wooyoung grabbed your hips. His grip was tight; he was so lost in the pleasure that he had forgotten to be gentle. But luckily you wanted it rough.
He started moving his hips slowly, every thrust threatening to make him cum early. You had had bigger ones than Wooyoung was, but the way he whimpered desperately was unlike anything you had seen before.
As Wooyoung adjusted to the feeling of your pussy squeezing him tight, his hips started working faster, almost like they had the mind of their own. He could get used to this; used but never bored.
“Please, can I see them?”
You wondered what Wooyoung meant with his breathy request, “What do you want to see?”
“Your tits. P-Pretty please,” he looked into your eyes, desperate like he was starving for even a glimpse.
He had been fully expecting for a nice bra to cover your chest, but when he saw you lift your shirt and reveal your bare tits, it surprised him pleasantly. A gasp of pleasure slipped past your lips as Wooyoung’s latched onto one of your nipples, providing great pressure as he sucked on it. You couldn’t decide if it was painful or pleasurable – those two could exist at the same time, right?
He thrusted into you in a desperate manner, his hips stuttering and the rhythm unsteady.
“I-I want you so – fuck – so bad...”
You tried to scoff but the sound came out as something between a moan and a huff of air.
“You have me, you ungrateful brat. Is t-this not enough?”
Wooyoung cried out, fondling with your breasts, holding onto them like a lifeline.
“It is, it is! But I want to cum inside. Let me put a baby in you.”
Involuntarily, your cunt clenched around Wooyoung’s cock which made him gasp. He tried so hard not to cum already, he really wanted to be good for you and for you to unravel for him first.
“Don’t you dare cum yet,” you warned him icily.
Wooyoung’s pace quickened, and his cock threatened to slip out from how wet and tight you were for him. He watched your flushed face in awe, taking a mental picture with his eyes. He would make sure he saw this sight, your pussy swallowing his cock inside, every week, preferably every day, from now on.
You took hold of his black locks and yanked his face closer to you for a kiss. It was wet, and Wooyoung swore he could taste lollipops on your tongue. Unfortunately, it reminded him of the way San had received one from you. That smug bastard could have tainted your lips first.
The need to mark you as his grew stronger. If San ever got even close to your pussy, it would be so full of Wooyoung’s seed, that he’d never be able to fit his cock in. Your pussy was molded for Wooyoung.
As you started moaning his name, he felt the throb on his cock that needed release right now. Despite your command he wouldn’t be able to hold back long anymore.
“P-Please, let me fill you up!.. I’ve been good, h-haven't I?”
He was such a pretty boy already, but desperate whimpers make a man even hotter. You couldn’t deny him when he was ramming inside you roughly yet with a submissive, gentle look on his face, eyebrows furrowed. There was the slightest bit of drool sliding past his parted lips.
“Knock me up, baby,” you moaned breathily.
At your permission, Wooyoung cried out in pleasure as his cum finally shot deep inside you. His legs barely worked, almost failing and letting him fall onto the floor by how intense his orgasm was.
With just a few, last powerful thrusts you came as well with a moan you thought of as humiliating, but Wooyoung would describe as only the most beautiful sound in the world.
He gazed at you with embarrassingly fond eyes, like he had just made love to you romantically instead of fucking with you in an empty classroom. But how could he treat you like shit anymore after getting a taste of his own personal heaven?
“I’m yours,” he whispered.
You just scoffed, humored by the change of tone he used to speak with, “Okay?”
He shouldn’t have gotten hard again by your indifferent words, but he couldn’t help but enjoy the way the girl he had bullied had put him in his place, gotten him wrapped right around her little finger.
Next day at school, Wooyoung felt like all eyes were on him. Whispers and mocking gazes had shifted from you to him. You had shared the video of him eating you out to the whole school. His flushed face coated in your juices, his thirsty whimpers and messy hair; it was all for everyone to see and speculate on. Had Wooyoung paid to have sex with the school’s supposed slut? He hadn’t but he would even sell his parents’ house just to do it again.

Oh boy, I am ready for the angst *rubs hands* and the dancing!!
You considered the picture, its bent corners and slightly grainy black and white lens. You’d worn your mother’s wedding dress, and you stared up at your new husband with the rosiest of smiles. He stared into your eyes then the way he always used to—like a man ready and willing to drown in them.
First I want to say that I am here for the reader rifling through Michael's drawers, YES girl, channel Daphne for Dean!! But I really love this little bit here because of the way you described Michael's gaze on her. Yes, we hate Michael... but goodness it was such a wonderful poetic line and all I want is that 😭
Also I love the little detail of Dean going out with a girl named Vanessa and especially the part where he thinks that she would:
"twitter on about frivolous things, so much that he couldn't really remember much of what she said..."
It's so good because my mind immediately shot to the idea that Dean is already subconsciously comparing the women/girls he's going out with to the reader. And on the inside I was doing this:
“I’d like you to leave me be. How about that?” you said, grabbing the edges of your hat and tilting it back down. “You’re distracting me.” “Oh, I’m distracting?” You met his gaze to give him a hot reply, but your words failed you. Just then, faced with his perfectly handsome, roguish face, you finally noticed how green his eyes were. Holding the gleaming reflection from the crystal chandelier above the bar, they briefly dragged over you again, like he was a starving man, and you were the very last morsel held in front of him. It was indecent, you thought, but suddenly your mouth had gone dry.
The boys running into the reader at the club was so wonderful, and there's really something beautiful about the way you build the scene with the dancing, the drinking, the people playing cards, and the description of the outfit the reader wore is stunning! I love the dark lipstick, dress, hat combo that shields her face is just everything I want- but above all, I really loved the banter you had between the reader and Dean.
The give and take with the dialogue is beautiful. This piece especially, because I literally needed to take a moment after reading it and the way Dean looked at the reader. 👀
Dean smoothly guided you even closer to him by your waist, until there was hardly any room between your chest and his, between your face and his. Your hand curled around the back of his neck on instinct, the edge of your nails just barely grazing through his hair. You wouldn’t know how it elicited a hot zing of sensation down his spine. “Your husband really is blind, and even dumber than he looks,” Dean said, glancing down at your face. “I clocked you in five seconds flat, just by those pretty lips.”

Oh my word IT'S HAPPENING!!! The tension! 😱
Also, I'm a complete sucker for a dance scene. I've written them a few times, and there's something so magical and intimate about them. You wrote this one between Dean and the reader so beautifully, because you made it filled with attraction, but you also made it a little melancholy when the reader is remembering a part of her life when she was happy in her marriage. The almost kiss is KILLING me lol
“Dean, please. You don’t have to do this just because you feel sorry for me,” you said. “I don’t feel sorry for you,” he said. It earned your attention, your confused and hurt expression. Dean met your gaze steadily. “I feel sorry for him. Because he doesn’t have a clue what he’s just lost.” Your breath stilled in your lungs.
Alright, it's official Alex my soul has left my body. It's been nice knowing you 🤣 I knew this would happen someday when I read one of your fics lol
Ohhh my word this chapter was so good! The historical fiction vibes are just so impeccable, and the entire scene with the reader and Dean in the club is going to live rent free in my head the rest of the year! Cannot wait to revive and read the next chapter lol!! 💗

Part 2: Devil May Care
After you got home from work the very next day, your apartment was entirely empty.
Predictable. Michael was still out.
This time, you counted it as a blessing. You rifled through every corner, cabinet, pocket, and drawer in search of evidence—anything you could use to prove, without even one shade of a doubt, that your husband was the unfaithful scoundrel you knew him to be. You knew it, deep in your gut. In your very soul.
You even rifled through Michael’s desk in his office, through every single folder, drawer, and booklet. You’d never done such a thing before because he was a particular man about his things, and you respected his privacy.
That was done now. In your search, you found a useless ball of rubber bands and old coupons. You took his father’s old collection of fountain pens, which you knew Michael was precious about, and threw them haphazardly onto the desk to make room for your seeking hands through the rest of the drawers.
You even came across a small, crumpled photograph from your wedding day. This one made you pause.
You considered the picture, its bent corners and slightly grainy black and white lens. You’d worn your mother’s wedding dress, and you stared up at your new husband with the rosiest of smiles. He stared into your eyes then the way he always used to—like a man ready and willing to drown in them.
You sighed and let the picture fall from between your fingertips. It swayed onto the desk’s mahogany wood surface, and rested there. You shook your head and returned your attention to your task at hand, holding your hands to your hips.
The problem was, you didn’t see anything incriminating here…until an idea finally occurred to you. You went into Michael’s closet. You sorted through the suit jackets he still needed to get drycleaned and pressed again.
In one of the pockets, you found a receipt.
You brought it to Sam Winchester’s office the following morning before work, along with some documents of your household expenses. Like you did the afternoon before, he identified the receipt as one for the Cotton Club, a nightclub in the Upper East Side. You had never been there in your life, but you heard it was one of the new go-to spots in town. It was the kind of place you used to wish Michael would take you to, once in a while.
“It could be a lead or it could be nothing, but I’ll check it out, along with these,” Sam said. He gathered the financial documents you gave him as well.
“Okay. Thank you, Mr. Winchester,” you nodded.
“You can call me Sam if you like,” he said, kind, but still professional. You smiled. Unbidden, it reminded you of his brother.
“Please,” you said, your eyes briefly closing. “Just…call me by my name. My first name.”
Dean slowly smiled. “Perfect. I like your name better anyway.”
This time, your smile in return was genuine, if tinged with amusement.
“Goodnight, Dean,” you replied.
Biting the inside of your lip, you gave into the urge to ask the question.
“It was nice of your brother to walk me home last night…what is he up to today then?”
“Ah, well, he’s out to lunch with a young lady he met last night,” Sam replied, with a somewhat wry, but still amused tone to his voice. You frowned.
“Last night? Does your brother meet a lot of women after 9:00 p.m.?”
Sam chuckled. “He’s not usually wanting for company.”
“I see,” you said flatly. You should have known. The devil-may-care grin on that man was too charming to be anything less than the mark of a shameless flirt. Maybe even a scoundrel. Lord knew you couldn’t take any chances either way.
Dean returned from his day out with Vanessa. She was a nice enough girl, a knockout blonde too. She was smart, studying to be a schoolteacher. But she also tended to twitter on about frivolous things, so much that he couldn’t really remember much of what she said. She did look good doing it though. Not to mention, she let him feel her up while they kissed in one of the alleys, between the ice cream parlor and a drycleaners.
He predictably found his brother whittling away life in his office. Dean dropped his coat and hat on the hanger with a flourish. Sam raised his head from his work with an amused smile.
“Had a good day, did you?” he remarked.
“I can’t complain,” Dean agreed. “Especially when a beautiful woman’s involved.”
Sam shook his head. Before September, he hadn’t seen Dean in three years. Yet some things just didn’t change.
“You gonna see her again?” Sam asked.
Dean made a noncommittal sound. “We’ll see. The day is young, brother.”
Sam raised a finger. “Speaking of which. Mrs. Milligan came by this morning. I’ve been looking through her husband’s finances.”
“Oh really?” Dean sobered as he approached his brother’s desk. “What’d you find?”
“Overall, things seemed to be in order, until I noticed something strange,” Sam said. Dean lowered into the chairs opposite his brother at his desk, and they went over it all together. Sam appreciated another set of eyes on this, with the understanding that Dean would keep the information to himself.
Starting roughly eleven months ago, there was a check signed to a Mr. Johnson for a moderate sum. Three weeks later, another check, this time a bit larger. For the past few months, Michael Milligan had been making these payments at least once a month, sometimes as much as three, albeit in different amounts.
“He might just have a gambling problem,” Sam said. He rubbed his chin in contemplation.
“Or it could be what she’s worried about,” Dean pointed out. “The name could be an alias. Maybe Mike’s paying for someone’s services…or paying her bills, if you catch my drift.”
Sam slowly nodded. “That’s a possibility.” He checked the dates on the documents again and shook his head. “Mrs. Milligan told me they got married about a year ago, here in the city. It would mean this guy started stepping out on her a month after the wedding.”
Dean both could and couldn’t believe it. He might not have been a saint himself when it came to the fairer sex, but if he went through the whole ordeal of marrying one, let alone a straight-shooting woman like you, beautiful, clever…
“Geez,” he muttered. “He could’ve at least waited until the ink dried on the certificate.”
Sam nodded in agreement. He picked up the receipt to the Cotton Club, and he shot his brother a grin.
“Wanna go to the club tonight?”
A wall of sound. That was the Cotton Club—the band on stage playing jazz tunes, loudly, if skillfully; the clanking of glasses as drinks rolled past; the clamor of heels and leather shoes as couples swung on the dance floor; and the added layer of people raising their voices to compensate. The room was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke, fighting against perfume and cologne and musk and sweat.
It was a bit overwhelming for Dean at first. He tried to ease himself into the scene with Sam at his side, even if he did jolt at the cork of a champagne bottle popping open. Sam noticed, but he mercifully didn’t say anything. He thumped a hand on Dean’s back to steady him under the pretense of a brotherly pat, adding a smile for good measure.
Sam was there to keep a lookout for Michael Milligan. Dean would help, but it wasn’t like he was being paid for it. He was largely aiming to have some fun while his brother was all serious, focused on the work. Dean was here for the community nightlife.
The beautiful, beautiful community. As a matter of fact, there were lovely ladies everywhere. One sultry blonde was singing an upbeat, jazzy tune at the mic. Dolores Daye, said the banner above the stage.
Dean’s attention shifted from the stage to the scattered round tables outside the dance floor, as well as the chair lined up at the bar. His gaze caught on someone familiar—on you, sat at a table by yourself. His eyes widened. He slowed to a stop while Sam went on ahead.
You were stunning, almost unrecognizable in a shimmering black dress that hugged every lush part of your figure, with sleeves that draped off your shoulders. His eyes drew down your crossed legs, the sheer pantyhose, leading to a pair of tall, shining black heels.
You wore a hat and partial veil that covered half your face, but he knew it was you. Those lips of yours were familiar on sight. Now they were painted red, dark and luscious.
“Dean?” Sam questioned him. He’d turned back when he realized his brother wasn’t keeping up with him. Dean subtly pointed you out. Sam raised his brows, but then he noticed what you were doing. You had a glass of wine in hand, and you seemed to be watching someone.
Every now and then your gaze would travel across the room, where your husband Michael was sat at a table filled with other men and women. They were laughing, drinking, playing cards.
Sam and Dean shared a conspiring look, one that said they had the same thought. They went over to you.
Sensing you were being approached, you looked over and found the pair of tall, familiar men with a widening of your eyes. That pretty mouth of yours fell open in surprise.
“What’re you doing here?” you whisper-hissed. You beckoned them to sit down so they weren’t standing out so much while talking to you. Both Winchester men were broad-shouldered and tall as oaks.
“The same thing you’re doing, apparently,” Sam said, once he and Dean were sitting across from you at the table. He showed you the camera he had hidden in his coat pocket. “I’m going to see if I can get a read on what your husband’s up to, maybe collect some evidence.”
You let out a rush of breath. “Good, thank you.”
“Until then, maybe you’d be more comfortable at home,” he suggested.
Dean knew what his brother was getting at. This wasn’t the kind of place for a woman to be hanging around…unaccompanied. Not a respectable one like you, who clearly wasn’t used to being in a roaring nightclub. Plus, if Michael did slip up here, it wasn’t exactly going to be pleasant for you.
You still shook your head stubbornly. “No. I want to see it with my own eyes.”
Sam almost sighed, but Dean shot him a nod. Right then, they had an understanding. Dean would stay and look out for you while Sam tried to get closer to Michael. Sam left you and Dean together at the table thereafter, and Dean ordered a drink for himself. You sipped at your wine.
Dean glanced at you in appreciation. You really were beautiful…and not just tonight. Though he had to smile at your “disguise.”
“You think that getup is gonna fool your husband?” he remarked, gesturing at your form.
Your lips pursed, but you kept your head angled towards him, so that your hat and veil continued to hide your face from Michael’s direction.
“It has so far,” you retorted. “And this isn’t a getup.”
You smoothed slightly self-conscious hands down the skirt of your dress. Dean smiled.
“All right, I’m sorry. Poor choice of words,” he said. He dropped his chin and raised his brows, earning your gaze under the hat. “It’s quite a dress, sweetheart.”
I’d like to see you out of it, he thought, even though he immediately stamped it down. You weren’t exactly available, no matter how delectable you were. The interesting part was, you didn’t seem to realize it as you fidgeted in your seat, a little self-consciously.
“Is that supposed to be a compliment?” you snipped.
His lips tugged at a smirk. He tilted your hat up a little so he could see more of your frowning face.
“Want me to do better?” he teased.
“I’d like you to leave me be. How about that?” you said, grabbing the edges of your hat and tilting it back down. “You’re distracting me.”
“Oh, I’m distracting?”
You met his gaze to give him a hot reply, but your words failed you.
“How about this,” Dean said. He finished off his whiskey and held out a hand to you. “Dance with me. You’ll have a better vantage point to spy on Mike over there.”
“Keep your voice down,” you shushed, glancing around.
Dean just smirked. He beckoned you again with a raise of his brows.
You hesitated, but you still eventually dropped your hand into his. He stood before you so he could help you to your feet. You allowed him to escort you over to the dance floor, and all the while you fought off your nerves. You were only doing this because he had a good idea; this would help you keep an eye on Michael without looking so out of place, a woman drinking alone at the table.
The band was playing a moderately paced song, which was good. You weren’t in this to be swept into the air.
“Relax,” Dean whispered, once he had you in his arms. His hands were respectably placed on your waist and in your hand. You knew you did have to relax though. Already you were too stiff while tentatively holding his hand, your other resting on his shoulder.
“I haven’t danced in—in a while,” you admitted. You were a little nervous as you began swaying with Dean, letting him lead you. He turned you about with ease, even twirling you under his hand.
“See? There’s nothing to it,” he said, welcoming you back into his arms. “When’s the last time you had some fun?”
You tilted your head as you thought about it. You and Dean shuffled about the dance floor in more complicated steps as the song increased in tempo. You were breathless in a good way. In a way that you couldn’t even remember needing to breathe as the golden lights sparkled in the corners of your eyes.
“He took me to a club like this once, about…I’d say month or so after we got married last year,” you admitted between spins. You had to hold a hand to your head to keep your hat on.
You were distracted enough by it all—the spinning, the laughter and tinkling glasses, the flashes of spotlight in between sultry dim shades, the heady smell of this man’s cologne, and his every touch, however brief on your body, but just as confident and measured. You actually told him the truth.
“I’ve been dying to get out more ever since, but…” you trailed as he spun you again, then winded you back into the growing familiarity of his arms.
You lowered your eyes, but not very far. They landed on his plush lips in contemplation. When your eyes met his again, Dean had a conundrum. He just didn’t think he cared all that much about the consequences.
His head began to bow towards yours, just when the song slowed to a stop. Almost without realizing it, he pressed his hand a little more insistently on the small of your back. You found yourself accepting that guiding pressure. Half-lidded eyes and heavy, mingled breaths in between…
“Let’s hear it again for Dolores Daye, everybody!” the host called out.
You snapped to attention and glanced over Dean’s shoulder at the singer. She waved goodbye to the crowd with a sensuous smile on her ruby red lips. Then she walked off stage in her glittering golden dress, and she grabbed hold of a man’s tie. That man was your husband.
Michael wore a wide smile on his face as she led him to his feet by his tie. He stood, his form looming over her, though she didn’t seem to mind—especially when his arm wrapped too familiarly around her waist.
It wasn’t the kind of embrace you would see between strangers, even for the sake of a good show for the crowd. Their faces became impossibly close, but it was just shy of a kiss as she laughed, a sound like fine crystal bells.
Dean noticed why you froze. He turned to look over his shoulder and his expression faded, becoming grim. He led you off the stage, and while keeping a discreet eye on the scene, he lingered at the bar in the center of the room. His arm stayed around your waist. He could tell himself it was to stay in character, but really, he just wanted to keep you grounded…that right now, you weren’t alone.
Here by the bar, it was far enough that Michael likely wouldn’t notice you, but close enough that you both could hear what was happening.
The host stepped down from the stage and joined Dolores and Michael, laying a heavy hand on your husband’s shoulder. Yet another clue that Michael showed his face here all too frequently. The host waved over his entire table of friends, Sam included. He’d managed to get himself invited to sit with them.
“Come on. Join us out back,” said the host, gesturing behind the curtain.
“Where to?” Sam asked.
“For a card game or two, a little smoke, a nice little drink,” Michael said, grabbing Sam’s shoulder. “You in?”
Sam nodded. He glanced over and found Dean across the room with his eyes. They shared a brief, but telling look, after which Sam followed Michael and Dolores past the curtain discreetly. Meanwhile, you were already pulling away from Dean’s arm.
“I’m sorry. I’ve got to go,” you murmured.
You went back to the table to collect your purse. You left the rest of your wine there with a few bills on the table to cover it, and you were off, walking brusquely to the front doors. Dean followed suit, laying some money down for his own drink before he followed after you. The clerk at the front brought you your coat after you handed over your ticket, and Dean did the same.
“Hey, why don’t I take you home,” he said, having to raise his voice even here over the noise.
“No, thank you,” you said thickly.
After you had your coat on, you hastened to the closest bus stop outside the club. It was late, it was dark, and it was cold. You saw your fragile breath on the air as you stood there in your tall heels, and you held yourself for more than one reason as you fought off bitter tears.
You bit your lip and blinked against the burn, but you still had to swipe a few droplets quickly from your cheeks. You tried to even out your shallow breaths. It felt like someone had reached into your chest and started squeezing whatever they found. Whatever was left.
Dean sidled up to you with his hands in his pockets. You heaved a sharp sigh, recognizing him just by his shadow casting beside yours under the streetlamp. You kept your face away from him as you wiped at your tears.
“Why do you insist on watching me be miserable?” you asked.
“Aw, come on, sweetheart.” He shook his head, carding a hand through his hair. “I know you’re upset. I just want to make sure you get home safe, that’s all. …You don’t even have to talk to me if you don’t want to.”
You slowly shot him a glance, but you didn’t budge. Your frown deepened along with your furrowed brows.
“Dean, please. You don’t have to do this just because you feel sorry for me,” you said.
“I don’t feel sorry for you,” he said.
It earned your attention, your confused and hurt expression.
Dean met your gaze steadily. “I feel sorry for him. Because he doesn’t have a clue what he’s just lost.”
Your breath stilled in your lungs.
His words touched you, more deeply than he probably realized. Part of you still wanted to give a sharp retort, that you didn’t need a chaperone. You didn’t need him to swoop in and collect you like broken glass…but a larger part of you craved the company. You didn’t want to be alone.
Soon enough, the next bus pulled up at the curb in front of you. The doors opened.
Dean gestured with a sweeping hand towards the bus’s steps.
Ladies first.
With another small sigh, you climbed up without a word. You even accepted his helping hand as you did so. Dean stepped up after you, and the doors closed behind you both.
AN: Welp, Happy Valentine's Day! 😅💜 Quite literally an angsty ride here, but what should happen on this bus going nowhere...
Next Time:
You admired his hands as they rested casually in his lap. They were larger than yours, with long fingers. His hands look strong and capable, like the rest of him, even though they were always considerate when they touched you.
“Then you should do something you like doing,” you said. “Fixing cars! That’s good, honest work you can make a living out of.”
Dean looked over at you. “You think so?”
You nodded your encouragement, smiling bright. “I know so. You might be a bit of a flirt, but you also look like someone who can accomplish whatever you set your mind to.”
When those words slipped free from your mouth, you realized how he might take that little accusation, let alone how overeager you sounded. Your gaze fell away from him as you felt your face getting warm in a blush.
Dean’s smile slid into a smirk. “I’m a flirt, huh?”
“Well…” You bit the inside of your lip and tried your hardest not to look at him for a while. “At least you’re an honest one.”
Dean laughed freely at that.
