So I’m a relatively new atiny (and kpop in general) but I must say, the argument that “ateez only makes noise music” has to be the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard. And the fact that enough ppl genuinely hopped on blindly to that train of thought is wild.

First of all, why would you allow some rando to dictate your taste in music? Give artists a chance and if it’s not your thing, it’s perfectly fine. Like I listened to ZB1’s discography after hearing about them a lot. I loved Crush and Good So Bad a lot. Every other song was okay. Most of their music simply isn’t my preference but I can understand their popularity and respect them.

Second, loud music ≠ noise. Majority of Ateez’s title tracks are grand, theatrical and possess an anthemic feel. But listen to their b-sides for crying out loud, songs like Be With You, Silver Light, Turbulence and so much more. You don’t even have to go through their whole discography, just take out 30 mins of your day and listen to one album. You’ll see their range and how versatile they are, they experiment with so many genres. I’m willing to bet even if you don’t become a stan, there will be multiple songs you will love. As if they were made just for you.

I just think listening to music is an experience only you can have, it can be a special one don’t let people deprive you of that.
