Sending this out through League channels, Roxy says she has habitats where the Grimer can stay, though Unova league doesn't have proper Water type facilities, which is frustrating. I can probably take care of the Inkay until the crisis dies down, and maybe try to adopt them out to new trainers as part of the starter program since finding qualified homes for dark types is one of my non battling responsibilities

so i’ve been at the pokemon house all afternoon and. it’s bad

since i know we’re not the only ones getting hit by the influx of returned pokemon from Luvdisc Day 2023, i want to see if i can compile a list of shelters that need help either getting the word out about potential adoptions or with extra hands/supplies

i’ll be announcing the list on the next broadcast to get as wide of a reach as possible. if you know of any shelters in need of help right now reply to this with: 1) name/location of your shelter 2) if you’re taking volunteers or donations (if you’re in need of specific supplies ie. food, blankets, potions feel free to list that as well!)

Archie meets the MILF that is Lady Flygon

     "Ah Archie there you are." The man in a diving suit ran up to Archie. There is a distinctive sharpedo fin on his back that goes through his wetsuit. "I wanted to see if you wanted to head to the beach again, and swim."

      "Ah Westley of course." Archie goes for their shared handshake and laughs. "Too bad I can't breathe underwater like you." 

     "Tried to get Max to come along but he said he was busy." Westley huffs. "Thought I could this time."

      "That nerd is always busy." Archie chuckles. "You always make a weird face when I call him a nerd."

     "Of course I do, he's a punk singer not a nerd. I would call his sister a nerd but I am scared of her." Westley hums. "But that's that, come on let's go."

……

    Archie and Westley slowed as they approached the beach a woman was walking around and Westley looked nervous.

     "What's with that face-" Archie is cut off as he is pushed into a bow as the woman approaches.

      The woman is close to 8ft tall curvy in all the right places, and looks like she can crush your head in her thighs. She has long green hair with different shades of green throughout. Her kimono is way too small and if you look close she isn't wearing anything underneath it. She huffs and crosses her arms. "Ah Westley good, I'm looking for your father."

     "Ah Lady Flygon, my father is busy in the deep sea. It's spawning season." He stands up straight and looks up at her.

    Archie looks up and can't stop the blush on his face, she was beautiful and tall and could crush him like a bug. "Oh uh hello." She could give Matt a run for his money.

    She tisks and sighs, but then quickly perks up grabbing Archie's shoulders. "You're that human my son likes."

     Archie gasps and her grip is like iron on his shoulders. "Your son?"

     "Of course Maximus, well he goes by Maxie now but he often speaks about you." She smiles and takes his bandana. "You do have a cute bandana, don't know why he calls it stupid."

     "M-ma'am can I have that back?" Archie blushes and takes back his bandana. "What do you mean Maxie is your son?"

    "Exactly what I said. Maxie is my son, he's my middle child." She smiles. "Oh do you not know about half pokemon and alpha pokemon ages?"

     "N-no I do ma'am, I just uh…" Archie doesn't know how to say this politely. "Why does Maxie look so old compared to you miss…"

      "My son wears makeup for that, he likes to look like a human version of his age. I think it's because he wants to keep his profile low or whatever he calls it." She giggles and ruffles Archie's hair. "I'm a widow, Byron was killed by poachers a while back. You can refer to me as Lady Flygon."

     Archie blinks and just nods his brain trying to do the math.

     Westley hums. "Lady Flygon, why do you need my father?"

     "Oh yes, there's been an increased number of poachers trying to flee from my desert to the sea. I want him to tell the others to kill on sight." She smiles and steps back.

     "I will pass the message along and tell the lovdisk triplets to stay in deeper waters." Westly bows. 

     "Oh thank you, and if you see Maxie tell him he has to help me set up a video call with Mitchell, these new computers don't like my cave." She turns back into a giant flygon and flies off back to the desert.

    Archie watches stunned looking back at Westley. "Why the fuck didn't you tell me Maxie was like you, and that his mom is a fucking MILF."

     "Well technically she is a GILF, she has a grandson. For the first part it's because all the other sea half pokemon and I were trying to get Maxie to strip while you watch, but that doesn't really matter now since you've met his mother." Westley sighs. "Also show respect to her she's one of the strongest alphas in the world, and she has a larger human body count then anyone else I know."

      Archie pales. "A body count?"

      "Yaknow poachers and stuff." He shrugs. "Just next time bow shows respect."

     Archie nods thinking he is completely fucked because he still loves Maxie, but is terrified of his mother. He still doesn't know who Maxie's siblings are.

and then some pokemon had their evolution and eggs messed with because Zygarde wasn't there to stop me messing with people by making some species like Lovdisk and Alomomola completely seperate.

Has anyone ever figured out how eggs appear? Like do Pokémon just. you know. Or do they have some other reproductive process? Do the eggs just kind of appear?

the vast majority of pokemon reproduce sexually, although there are exceptions. ditto, for example, reproduce asexually and simply split off their offspring from their main body. some pokemon are born from environmental causes, such as grimer forming as a result of long-term exposure of moon x-rays on certain kinds of waste material. there are even pokemon whose reproduction we don't fully understand yet!

i know that biology classes are...lacking in some regions, especially on topics that are for some reason controversial. i also know that some pokemon nurseries and daycares will tell younger trainers that they don't know how the egg got there when their pokemon reproduce. but personally, i think there's no point in lying. if we're trusting someone with the care of an egg and the newborn pokemon that hatches out of it, we can trust them to understand the basics of pokemon breeding without going into too much detail. it does a disservice to their understanding of pokemon care, and i'm sorry that nobody was truthful with you up to this point.
